This is some straight up bullshit

Check this out:

CNN is apparently in possession of a tape made by Trump’s attorney without Trump’s knowledge or consent. It was either given to CNN by Trump’s attorney or someone in Robert Mueller’s special prosecutor office.

If it was provided by Trump’s attorney that is a huge ethical violation and he will be disbarred even if nothing else happens to him. But if the tape given to CNN came from Mueller’s office then that is a serious crime.

CNN knows who gave it to them, but they won’t tell us.

The fact that CNN is in possession of the tape at all is disturbing and reeks of unfairness. It also supports Trump’s claims of a conspiracy against him. That CNN would play the tape on the air shocks the conscience. The tape contains nothing relating to Russian collusion. Zero, zip, nada planada.

CNN knows who leaked the tape. They are protecting the identity of this person. In doing so they are asserting a privilege. They are violating Trump’s attorney-client privilege while asserting one of their own. CNN claims to be fair and impartial. They deny any partisan bias.

CNN employees frequently complain that Trump calls CNN “fake news” and they claim Trump is endangering their lives with his comments about them. But they have no bias.

We live in interesting times. It is apparently now a crime to pay off a blackmailer. If your attorney gets arrested for something unrelated to your case he can roll over on you and you can’t stop him. If this bullshit stands then attorney-client privilege becomes meaningless.

Last but not least:

Even if everything on that tape is true and is admissible evidence, who gives a fuck?

Do YOU give a fuck???

  2. votermom says:

I haven’t heard it, but apparently on the tape they discuss buying the rights to the story of an alleged affair woth a Playmate from the National Enquirer.
Of course they are reporting this as talking about buying off the Playmate.

    • Lulu says:

If buying a “story” is illegal all of the news outlets and Holly-weird would be in prison. The blackmailer is the criminal not the blackmailee.

This feckless c*nt is serious — she thinks discussing possibility of buying rights to a story from a magazine is ‘bad’ LOL Trump really has exposed these fools for the morons they are

    • Myiq2xu™ says:

I think she was being sarcastic.

    • Anthony says:

And he ended up NOT buying the rights, and the story NEVER ran. Maybe a bogus story only intended to cause embarrassment right before the election? Like leaking the tape is nothing more than an attempt to embarrass the man who’s only ‘crime’ is that he’s better than their pointless savior St. Barack of Chitown?

      • Lulu says:

After the 70 millionth “professional whore screws guy” story how much is it worth? And who is surprised or interested? Well yes a whore screwed this guy and …. The Dems/progs/lefties/dumbasses still don’t get that Clinton changed everything. Forever. If Big Dog can do it so can everyone else. None of our biz. Don’t care.

        • Myiq2xu™ says:

All things being equal I would prefer a POTUS who can keep his pants zipped up. Show me an alternative to Trump who can match Trump’s record of success and who has never banged bought booty.

        • Anthony says:

There’s a reason the publication didn’t run the story. Probably because it was a ‘he said she said’ kinda thingy. It’s not the first time money was spent to squash an item that at best would only serve to reinforce an unprovable accusation. Happens in business all the time. The alternative would be to engage in a public trial that would bring even more attention to a possible lie

          • Lulu says:

These are “nuisance” expenses of a business. Once I sat in my office, situated in a historic house dining room that had windows looking out on the large front porch, and watched a supposed potential client not leave immediately but stagger around getting closer and closer to the edge of the steps and being egged on to “fall off” by her boyfriend. I watched and watched. Then she kind of tripped (with some help) and took a header down to splat and get a skinned head. Screaming, hollering, me laughing, etc. Out comes big boss. He sees me standing in the window motioning come in and talk to me. He does. He marches out, opens his wallet, throws a hundred at her, and says GYFO I have a witness. He said a bloody head (and more brain damage) was worth a hundred.

          • Mt.Laurel says:

Well the National Enquirer has proven over the past few years that they understand both the news side and the business side to publishing far better than such supposed erudite rags as the NYT, WP, LA Times and New Yorker.

    • Somebody says:

I think maybe she’s being sarcastic, surely that’s the case.

Excellent. Now there is a precedent to fill up the fed prisons with violent anti-Trumpers. Nose punching threat is now a federal violent crime. Line’em up. Try them. Convict them. Ship them out for 5-6 year sentences.

  9. elliesmom says:

Ivanka Trump is closing down her clothing business. I’m sure she has thought it out, and it’s her business why unless there’s a crime involved. The news has caused some speculation from some common folk it’s because she’s contemplating a presidential run in 2024. The speculation is not from anyone who has any connection to the Trumps. It’s just excited FB chatter. What I want to know is why are so many people in the US so fascinated with dynasties? Whether it’s British royalty or political families, why do so many people want to give power to people just because of who their ancestors were? If George Washington had any heirs, which I think we’re fortunate he didn’t, would being his great…great grandchild be enough to be qualified to be POTUS? Understand, I think Ivanka is very bright, but shouldn’t she have to do more than sell shoes first?

    • Myiq2xu™ says:

I want Ivanka to run in 2024 as a Democrat. When she wins the nomination she can run against Don Jr. as the GOP nominee. The debates would be awesome.

      “Dad said I was next!”
      “No, I’m next!”
      “Shut up, Donnie.”
      “Dad lets you have everything!”
“You’ll get your turn, now shut up!”
      “Make me!”

      • votermom says:

I think DonJr is the one interested in politics.

        • Somebody says:

Don Jr is my favorite, seems to be a chip off the old block. I like Ivanka OK, but I’m just not a huge fan of hers.

BTW, I don’t think Ivanka has any interest in running for office. Don Jr? Perhaps, who knows. Should he decide to he’ll have to rise or fall on his own merits. He might be able to run for NYC mayor, perhaps governor, or congress…..but NY is really liberal, so I don’t like his chances. As for a POTUS run, I don’t see it. It was his father that built the empire, not him. Unless he is a smashing success at a lower office, I just don’t see it.

    • lateblum says:

I don’t know… HST was selling shoes before he entered politics. Look where that got him!
      😉

    • Lulu says:

No Ivanka. No daughters OR sons. They should enjoy the limelight now such as it is. No more Shrubs. No Jebs. No Chelsea. No, no, no. Even John Quincy Adams was a bust in the US. We don’t do aristocracies or degenerating Habsburg dynasties. Ivanka ain’t The Donald. Her mother is a doofus.

    • Mt.Laurel says:

One factor (in many one would assume) might be not having to respond as to why she did not move production to the USA. Much like wearing her own line – it is a lose lose situation. Renew current agreements and be hit with “practice what daddy preaches” or switch and be hit with X company is being given special treatment or sued because Y company was not picked. And then there are the unions.

Ivanka seems to have an decent sense of business but not to the same degree as her brothers. She really is her mother’s daughter and, to me, still comes off as very naive. My gut says hubby would be the one with visions in the political realm.

I do understand why PT has family around him – he really needs people who he knows support him. I always figured it was Ivanka and Jared because the boys are of greater value elsewhere.

If anyone of them want to get into politics, I would make better sense to keep to the local level. But please – no US/Presidential ideas or even state. Better to put experience into supporting those that pick up the mantle of their dad. That way they can be useful, not get into monarchy mode and avoid comparisons.

All these idiot media beta boys just want to have Trump’s women problems and are so jealous they are going crazier.

HA! We’ve got an area with a lot of drunks too. You’ll see them on Sunday mornings making beer runs looking like they haven’t shaved in a week. Not infrequently, they’ll have the windows down driving in a mufferless PoS wearing a wifebeater or sans shirt altogether.

The corrolation between pedos and no borders is very, very creepy. It is like just suggesting an alcoholic drink less and they lose their shit. They must have a constant supply of new, innocent, terrified, dependent, non-communicative (no English), bullied victims who can’t tell on them. Babies and toddlers are the best because they can’t talk. Poor teenagers are next because they can be terrorized and “bought” off in the short term anyway.

Investigating an MI 6 operative doing what Bronco asked No 10 to do as a liddle favor would be a sticky wicket. UK is very butthurt over a private Russian businessman suing (essentially) MI 6 for libelling him using the UK’s own very good libel laws and shit getting out on what scumbags they are. Everything Bronco does, wants, plans, or thinks about turns to shit. Karma you bobo-heads.

Today is starting auspiciously. Itook Mom to her AARP meeting and dropped her off. On the way there we played our favorite car game, “How many places do I hurt today” and I won, which is unusual. I had two more than normal, and her knee wasn’t bothering her. I sealed the victory with Diabetic nerve pain, which is acting up again.

Mom said I need to work on my attitude, so I am practicing rude and surly. I’m taking her shopping at Walmart after her meeting and I want to be on top of my game.

On the way home I nearly ran a guy off the road because I needed to move over and he seemed to love staying right beside me. He was driving a pest control truck and looked shocked and surprised when I began shouting, gesturing, and swerving into his lane like a deranged liberal. After that he gave me a safe space of about three blocks.

So now I’m back home waiting for her meeting to end.
