Not Even A Smidgen

The Reelect Trump 2020 Campaign has unveiled its new advertising campaign. A spokesman said the idea is to remind people how bad things were before Trump.

This is an open thread.

Not only do I not miss that dirty rat bastard, I am still repulsed by the sight of his face, and the sound of his voice. If I never saw,or heard him again, it would be too soon, and that goes double for his awful wife.

  2. sfcmac says:

Barky had one of the most corrupt regimes in history. He weaponized government agencies against opponents, broke the law, violated the Constitution, and used skin color as an excuse for everything. Hillary, Obama, Holder, Lynch, Lerner, et al, belong in prison.

    • Jenlyn says:

Wonderful description basically he tried to make us like Kenya he almost succeeded and the scary thing is we’re one man away from losing it all. Sometimes I have to remind myself that all of this is real.

  3. Lulu says:

He’s fading fast. Without Wall St, the Dem party structure and the entire federal government backing him up he is ZERO. By 2020 he won’t even be mentioned.

  4. jeffhas says:

After watching the Dems kill off one person one vote in the 2008 primary, and Obama win the general, I was actually ‘hopeful’ he would bring some good in the form of some type of racial reconciliation – if nothing else by his win alone.

Obama even made that a sh*t show.

2012 was the bile-tasting election loss that I figured would usher in his ‘successful president’ narrative.

    …. Then came Trump….

As low and dirty as 2008 and 2012 made me feel, the election of 2016 has made up for it in spades (racial pun intended). Live by the sword, die by the sword – karma is a bitch – nature corrects itself – whatever…. A great wrong was righted with the election of 2016, and everything that has transpired since has been nothing short of amazingly positive with regard to MAGA.

Never imagined it could be this good.

    • lateblum says:

I remember when, while he was running, bronco bama pointed out – to everyone – that he was “different” and like no one whose face/image you’d ever seen on a piece of US currency. He started with race and racism, and never hinted that he’d heal the racial divide. And when asked what he hoped to achieve, he said he was like an empty hologram that reflected what the viewer wanted to see.
I will admit to being a tiny bit hopeful when the cameras panned the throngs of people in Grant Park and the different areas in Chicago on election night. My own kids were so thrilled and hopeful; they went into the city to witness and celebrate that election. The sights of people weeping with joy and hope stay with me. Yes I distrusted him and his words from the getgo, but wished he would at least bring people together – instead the divisiveness grew and grew. And here we are.

      • DeniseVB says:

Empty hologram is right. I think we all wanted to give him a chance, nobody screamed at the sky. I think my “honeymoon” period lasted to April 2009 when I hit the streets with the Tea Party. Those people weren’t just mad at Obama, but the whole damn Congress too.

        Obama: Worst political experiment ever.

      • 49erDweet says:

He was the strangest of con men…….he didn’t really understand – or know how to manage – the full force of his con. Basically bc he was lazy……..racial slam possibly intended.

The Woke’ED in Austin want to rename the city because …Confederacy. Stephen F Austin, for whom the city is named, had absolutely nothing to do with the Confederacy (he died in 1836). S F Austin was not pro-slavery. He was practical and slavery existed and had to be addressed. https://www.mystatesman.com/news/local/city-report-confederate-monuments-raises-idea-renaming-austin/W0ZX8x43xXWQbogdF6tE4M/ There were very few slaves in Texas especially in the 1830’s as it was not a slave economy nor any other type of economy at that early date as there was virtually no development of any kind except subsistance farming and most people were far too poor to own extra mouths to feed. My own ancestor in Texas at this point did farming, had a river ferry, and horse breeding for saddle and carriage horses (Galveston and New Orleans markets) and had 13 kids who grew to adulthood and were a rough bunch. And he never had any slaves.

    • John Denney says:

Yeah, but I’m pretty sure Austin was significant in defeating Santa Anna after the battle of the Alamo.

      Remember the Alamo? 😉

    • 49erDweet says:

Doesn’t Austin have more idiots per square mile than any other TX city? I like the area, but the city itself is a turn off. Austinites take themselves much too seriously. They’re like Californians, only with a trace of a drawl.

    • Jenlyn says:

And where the f*** is the black community they should be marching in support of this man claiming him as their hero spokesperson leader. Instead they’re backing the criminals the rap stars the thugs and the people that prey on the black community itself. Just as women have to look in the mirror and claim the responsibility they own in their own downfall the black community has to stand up look in the mirror and say we are the reason we are where we are. This man is a game-changer and I pray he wins not only for himself but for the black community they need to see what real leaders look like.

How was Holder supposed to know the law? He was only the AG of the US. Right?
Besides, if you recall, there were MANY opportunities to meet with bronco bama while he was running for POTUS. I frequently received fundraiser emails that said “for a donation of just $3.00 you can win the opportunity to meet with (the candidate)”. No one ever challenged that game of chance. I guess they were too afraid of being called “racist” to object.
I always wanted to donate so I could say, “Not interested” when I won. But he was so vile and revolting to me, I just couldn’t bring myself to do it. Besides, I figured the whole idea was a scam anyway… just like the candidate.

    • Cisco says:

      Duck and cover era.
We had to worry about a nuclear attack and these people are afraid of passages from classic literature?
Every Tuesday the air raid alert would be sounded, testing I suppose,
at our school we would go into the hallway, stand against the lockers and say a prayer.
Thinking about it over the years, I suppose under a nuclear attack, praying was about the only thing one could do.

And that “density” in the tweets for my area of NYS? Also interesting as once you left the blue city it got purplish and then solid red in the second ring suburbs in my area. Yet his colors show the solid blue-ish color for my county. There is one further down from some Princeton professor in that tweet stream that has tall red/blue/purple graph lines that more accurately shows my county as purple-ish (it definitely leans blue due to the city, but the ‘burbs are purple – at best).

      • Cisco says:

    • Lulu says:

If you look at the outlines of the criminal conspiracy it isn’t brilliant or unprecedented it is merely complicated. Pretty much every Chicago/Bronco scam is. Lots of rats’ mazes, dead ends, diversions, scumbags getting paid, high falutin’ blah-blah, and dirty cops. Lots of people who think they are smarter than they are too. Everyone involved has a long history of being a dirtbag. They made lots of mistakes because they believed their own campaign PR (Trump’s tactics are very foreign to them) that Trump is a moron and that Bronco/Hillary are geniuses. Both Hillary and Bronco are back-riding thieves with delusions of grandeur and C+ thugs which is why they can’t really get along. They couldn’t just lose and go away because their scams failed and they had to keep them going or face blow-back from their backers who are sick of them but implicated in too much really bad stuff to stop completely too. Hillary/Bronco are in a Catch-22.

Jakey has to throw in the old butt kissing “he deserves it” to make it at least patatable to his social and work milieu. Bronco deserves nothing. He f’ed everything he touched. It is the same shit as “I don’t like Trump but…” When you fold to the mob to try to utter some inanity which is glaringly obvious and that a half-wit would have noticed you are a sycophant. Bronco concentrated all Dem party resources on himself to drag his dumb ass across the finish line in two elections. He was an utter failure because he is too stupid to understand that he needed legislatures (fed and state) to co-operate with him. Pen, phone, lawfare, weaponizing the fed bureaucracy only worked a little for a while. But he got rich which was the point.

          • lateblum says:

That is the same way bronco “worked” while in the state legislsture. He did not “do” teamwork because “there is no I in team”. He wasn’t interested in forming alliances unless he was assured that alliance was going to be helpful to Him. Thus, his many votes of “present”. When he hooked up with Emil Jones, the leader of the Illinois senate, it was so that Emil could add bronco’s name to bills up for votes. In fact, there were times when bronco’s name was listed as the author of the bill even when he’d had nothing at all to do with those bills.
He didn’t get rich while in the IL senate, it it was the stepping stone to the vast riches he now has acquired. He has deserved NONE of what he now has.

The Progs are still bitching about Hill winning the popular vote and should be prezzy. The electoral college is ignored just like Hillary’s Robbie Mook did. Then sideways they start bitching about the Senate and how little doof states shouldn’t have TWO Senators who can cancel out the moral, superior in all ways and bestest ever Congressmen from blue cities who have ALL of the population of the US! The cities don’t have ALL the population, rings around cities vote very differently than highly urban proggy with freebie cities and have significant populations, and blue voters congregate and pack cities. I do think that some Dems know this but I’m not sure anymore since they seem so ignorant and unable to understand statistics.

Trump is also herding Repubs. I really think he is ready to shut down the gov this fall if the Repubs do not get on board with the border and illegal alien control. Ryan is a lame duck and why he thinks he still runs anything is unknown or maybe he has a globalist open-border contract out on him. McConnell is a sneaky old bastard so he may be just f’ing with his own conference for being a bunch of dicks. If there is one issue that will win in a gov shut-down for Trump it is open-borders and the House and Senate Repubs will have to chose sides right before an election: Enforcement/Wall/Rule of Law vs Open Borders/Crime/Cheap Labor. The 2020 Census fight over not counting anything but US citizens in representative districting and getting rid of birthright citizenship for children of illegal or non-resident aliens is lining up too. This will finish gutting the Democrats. Trump always has several things going simultaneously in various stages of develpment just as an international builder/construction tycoon would. So many people simply cannot comprehend this including Democrats/media and the US federal bureaucracy. Internationally it is becoming understood.

    • Cisco says:

The move means that the city will not renew a decade-long arrangement to share real-time arrest information with ICE when it expires at the end of August.

PARIS SUBURB OF SAINT DENIS: A ‘No Go Zone’ where more than 300,000 illegal alien Muslim invaders are squatting, 6 miles from the Eiffel Tower

Anne Hidalgo, Socialist Mayor of Paris, announced she was going to sue Fox News, the Trump-supporting Right-wing U.S. TV channel, for claiming that there were ‘no-go areas’ open only to Muslims.

‘The challenge,’ says Paris senator Philippe Dallier, is ‘to prevent Saint-Denis becoming a huge ethnic ghetto of two million mainly Muslim inhabitants within 20 years, where speaking Arabic is more useful than French.”
      Forget it Dallier.
      France is fk’d beyond repair.
      So sad, truly so sad.😢
I loved visiting your “former” country.
Heartbreaking knowing I’ll never go back.

      It is sad.

St. Denis has the oldest Gothic Cathedral in Europe. It is where the Royal Crypts are located. God only knows what they will do to that church once there are enough of them.

I am also sorry to say that I can never go back.

      Very, very sad.
