odd how they want to take away presidential powers from Trump. How many did backtrack get killed and not a word of protest from them?

I am ready to call democrats enemy combatants. That is what their actions show them to be

So, I bought a spiralizer. It’s so nifty, and just as easy to use as it is in the video. I already made pesto and cheese zucchini noodles for myself, and spaghetti with mushrooms and sausage for my son. Much easier than having to boil noodles! Anyone use one? I could use some ideas and recipes.

Silly Snowflakes, another boycott ! So you know what to do, throw a pack of Nathan’s brand hot dogs in your cart, also, they’re quite good !

    • Cisco says:

Nathan’s is my hot dog of choice.🌭
Chicagoans choice is Vienna, which is a good dog, but again, I much prefer Nathan’s.
Green relish, sport peppers, mustard, tomato, slice of dill pickle a little onion and a sprinkle of celery salt.😋
Although I’ve been known to just slap one on a bun after heating, and chow down.
All those fixin’s are for a classic Chicago style hot-dog.

      • DeniseVB says:

Ok, NOW I’m craving a hot dog, lol !

      • helenk3 says:

did you ever get a pretzel dog from Nathans? they are so good. instead of a plain hot dog roll they use pretzel dough and wrap the hotdog in it

      • elliesmom says:

Hot dogs in Chicago were a revelation. Like a hot dog salad bar. In RI we have “the New York System”. It’s some kind of mystery meat on the dog, which is a special hot dog made from a combination of pork, beef, and veal. If you want them with this spiced meat concoction, celery salt, yellow mustard, and onions, you order them “all the way”. We have restaurants dedicated to them. Each one has its own signature mystery meat. In MA, of course, the specialty is Fenway Franks. The malls in NH have Nathan’s fast food places. I don’t know about Maine because I look for lobster roll fast food there. People in VT don’t eat hot dogs- “over-processed food”. CT only has signature taxes.

        • Cisco says:

The dogs from Papaya King were inexpensive, and tasty, imo.
I liked that little snap as you bit into one.
I think I read PK closed because rent was raised sky high.
Before or after a Yankee’s, it was a place to stop.
If it’s truly gone, NYC won’t be the same when I visit.

I also thought it funny when I heard the day after the election, “Orange Is The New Black”.

    • lateblum says:

I wish I had known this before today. (Martin and Short’s decision) They were at Ravinia this summer and I decided NOT to get a ticket because I didn’t want to be the brunt of nasty political jokes. I’d have tried to get a ticket to their show. (Many people did. It was one of the shows that was sold out before the “people’s box office” opened. Ravinia also booked Whoopi for a one night stand. Naturally, I chose against that show as well. I have little disposable money and I will not spend it on someone who has little regard for people who do not embrace her ideas. She has the right to do that, as I have the right to choose where I spend my $$. They were still trying to sell out her show in the days before.
A friend and I went to see/hear Michael Feinstein and Kristen Chenoweth on Tuesday. They opened the show together with some singing and banter. One of the “jokes” they began with was political and anti-Trump-ish. So few people were amused it was notably uncomfortable. That was the last political comment they made all night. It turned out to be a lovely night of song and story telling. No one went home feeling bad about themselves.

      • Myiq2xu™ says:

Things are so polarized now that ANY political jokes will piss off at least half of your audience. The well is poisonous.

        • lateblum says:

It’s sad that so many “entertainers” don’t seem to know – or care – they are losing their audience when they push their political agenda by being offensive. But it does save me money. lol

Only $9 was generated at the AMC Deer Valley 16 in Antioch, California. That could mean only one person showed up at the Deer Valley cinema; ditto for the Lakeview 21 in the Minneaopolis/St.Paul area, where the film earned $10 on Friday.
