Two Pictures Tell The Story

Lanny Davis and Michael Cohen

Yesterday Trump’s former personal attorney Michael Cohen took a plea deal that includes him testifying against Trump. The two men are pictured above.

What happened yesterday should not have surprised anyone because Cohen’s attorney was Lanny Davis. Davis is pictured below with one of his two favorite long-term friends, clients, and benefactors.

I’m guessing that Lanny never even considered going to trial in this case.

  2. Ann says:

I question why Cohen hired him. Why hire Lanny Davis of all people?

    • lyn says:

He did it probono, but we know the Clintons are behind this.

    • Constance says:

Yeah it’s all pretty weird. But the good news is the Clintons do a lot of shady crap and they always leave a trail and their sleaze becomes public knowledge.

  3. Lulu says:

Cohen won’t be prosecuted for fraud in the state of NY for bank and taxi medallions funny business, etc. It is a good deal for a long time crook and dirty dealer like Cohen. But his fraud victims will get no restitution or recourse. That is the way it goes in dirty old Democrat NY. Dirt on Trump (supposedly) is paid for on the back of banks/shareholders and taxi drivers/taxi riders but hey the Dem BIGS always win in dirty old Democrat NY. Why do you think Hill/Bill moved their crime syndicate there instead of Little Rock after their run in the WH?

  4. Dora says:

Anything is possible. We do know how desperate they are!

BREAKING: Mueller Team Preparing Indictment Of President Trump?

Just beneath the headlines of the Manafort trial and subsequent Cohen plea deal are increasing rumors of a bold/desperate move by the Mueller investigation to first subpoena President Trump for his alleged role in alleged campaign finance violations (payments to women he had affairs with) and then when the White House ignores/fights that subpoena, quickly move for an indictment shortly before the 2018 Midterms.

    • SHV says:

Another FWIW….”. Yarrabee Farms is owned by the family of Craig Lang, the former president of the Iowa Farm Bureau and a former GOP primary candidate to be Iowa’s Secretary of Agriculture.”……IMO, Langs likely upstanding members of pro-amnesty GOPe…gotta remember there are trillions of dollars at stake.

Democrats are going after Attorney General elections state by state (yeah, i’m Looking at you Keith Ellison)- it is painfully obvious to me they are targeting Repubs – especially those that support Trump (Chris Collins, Duncan Hunter) – the Dems are playing Scorched Earth for sure… if they win more Atty Gen seats – it won’t matter red state or blue state, they will bring charges to sitting Governors, alt Governors, whatever they have to do to circumvent a legitimate vote, they want their power back.

GOP needs to fight for these Atty Gen seats like mad… Trump needs to help knock these Dem candidates as much as Rep and Senate Candidates.

    Crazy Evil Sh*t going on….

  16. Dora says:

    These people are soulless!

    • Mt.Laurel says:

I would not be surprised to find that someone had dirt on Cohen and he was given a choice between “letting Lanny fix things” or Arkanside.

If they really thought Cohen’s files would bring PT down, they would have left him hang out to dry. That they worked out a special deal appears to indicate there really nothing there about PT but there might be something about one or more of the DC/NYC swamp creatures that might get out of the bag since Cohen has his fingers in multiple pies. Because Cohen did not go to trial where more light have been shed on both he and the Barry/Clinto/GOPe cabal than desired, they now feel free to make more stuff up like that dossier and claim it came via Cohen.

But if the Clintons has dirt on Cohen that made him see not-really-a-lawyer as the best choice, my guess is PT knows whys and wherefores. .

The volunteers with our rescue groups that campaigned for Hillary have been asked to regroup for 2020. So someone is pushing for her to try it again.

I did not wear my tin hat for Tuesday as we had waves of strong electrical storms so it is working overtime today.

      • lyn says:

        Very interesting.

      • DeniseVB says:

I’ve seen signs of Hillary 2020 too. She’s been attending “private” fundraisers at “private” homes, er, estates. Supposedly for the “foundation”. In the meantime, polls have Joe Biden and Bernie are “beating” PDJT by double digits, so maybe she sees an opening? LOL. If not, then it’s David Hogg and Emma Gonzalez 2024 !!! Woot !

    • Constance says:

Muller and the Trump haters really had their media pitch set up to go. I’m not so sure they are gaining any traction with the narrative they are pushing. It just sounds like a SOS pep rally to me. They really do have some shit eating grins on them today though. I was watching Outnumbered and Marie Harf looked really pouty as everyone else seemed to be shrugging off the “events” of yesterday.

      • Mt.Laurel says:

Not one word was said by anyone in our office space even with two large meetings of SJW type groups going on the conference rooms. My guess is the not even the WP, the bible of the DC Swamp Club, was unable to actually make them feel it was a win win. Normally you get several people prancing gleefully about making very inappropriate comments to anyone who must cross their paths even tangentially.

Sarah’s right. Impeach, ban ICE and straws is not a terribly inspiring platform.

      • lyn says:

        But dumb asses love it.

        • DeniseVB says:

I was a clueless lib once upon a time, but never a dumb ass. Until 2008 when it became a requirement. Still can’t figure out how McCain and Romney lost to Obumble.

          • Mt.Laurel says:

I always figured when McCain “was called back to DC” for that well timed and manipulated financial crisis he was told to cool it and shut Sarah down. And he did. Notice how much changed in the campaign changed at that point. It bascially shut down. And it became clear Sarah was a pariah to her own supposed running mate and his minions. Very few stood up for her – and much of the crap being slung had no merit what so ever. The worst people I came across are the same group that worked for Hillary in 2016 and donned those pink hats to disrupt PT inauguration. Making up stories – well not so made up – they just took Hildegarde’s behavior and past and substituted Sarah’s name.

As to Mitt, I have never been sure Barry actually won. I think Mitt must have had one of those little talks from the puppet-masters to not question the outcome. Mitt was on the fence much of the time waffling between the right thing to do and the one world order and often gave way to pressure of TPTB. In the end it appears he has decided t go with the new world order gang 300%.

  20. lyn says:

    Guess where takes you? LOL.

  21. Dora says:

Lane bearing down on Hawaii as a powerful Category 4 hurricane

    • taw46 says:

Hope our Island Girl is ok in Hawaii. The latest I read said Lane is turning, so they may be spared the strongest winds. But will still get lots of rain and high surf.

      • Myiq2xu™ says:

They just need to toss a couple virgins into a volcano and the gods will spare them.

      • DeniseVB says:

Thought of her today too ! Was hopeful to see the storm turning away.

        • Mt.Laurel says:

I was 💭 no of her as well as I get push notice updates for both Atlantic and pacific storms. When they actually put out the hurricane warning, they noted they are rare for Hawaii compared to the eastern states and the gulf as the currents usually favor the islands 🌴. 🍍 🏄not the storms.🌊

      • Island Girl says:

Aloha! Thanks you guys for thinking of us Island dwellers. Looks like we are just getting started, went to finally get groceries and got drenched by the first burst of wind and rain. Then my $%^ shopping card jammed up as if I was trying to steal the stupid thing and some sweet young kids!! Helped me load up my truck. On track for Fri-Sat passing so keep ya posted if possible. MAGA and 💕

        • Mt.Laurel says:

Thanks for checking in. With us. Lane appears to be ho,ding at category 4 which even if it just run parallel to the islands it can still produdpce some not so lovely surprises.

Denise and I follow storms – I think if we were independently wealthy we would chasing them. Using Amtrack.

Glad you got some help with that cart. They have started those around here and sometimes the lock clicks in too soon on unsuspecting customers. I can understand somewhat, when the added a bag tax her in the people’s repiblic of Montgomery county, people would just pile up th carts and toss the whol thing in th back I’d SUVs.

          Stay safe.

          • Myiq2xu™ says:

A shopping cart mysteriously appeared in my backyard a while back. I figure since it’s there I might as well use it. It comes in handy for unloading groceries.

          • Island Girl says:

Thank you! My mistake was backing into the post office to collect my junk mail, must have violated some federal law. Those youngsters made my day. Cheers and onward hopefully LOL 🏝

        • taw46 says:

I will be thinking of you, Island Girl. Which island is your home? Me no like these storms. I’ve been through quite a few Tropical Storms and Cat 1/Cat 2 hurricanes. Those are bad enough. At least with the major ones, we had the ability to leave (even before KW, I lived on an island). Stay safe and stay away from the water!

I did buy a TCH recommended Black Box of Chardonnay to test tonight, so far so good. 😉

      • elliesmom says:

I love Black Box wines. My favorite white is the sauvignon blanc. Their new red sangria is nice on a warm summer night. The merlot would be good with zucchini bread.

        • DeniseVB says:

Just had two choices at that store, chard and cabernet. May have hunt down the other flavors 😉 I could probably keep the reds in my mom cave, but do love the whites icy cold.

        • Mt.Laurel says:

Oh my – they now have sangria? I will have to check this out. I use any of their reds as a base and it makes a wonderful sangria. But ready to pour for just myself after a long commute would be heaven.

    • Mt.Laurel says:

Bookmarked and will add that recipe to my file that include such wonderful things as Anthony’s Chocolate Chess Pie.

    • cynic says:

I’ve got 3 large zucchini sitting on my counter, and I was planning on making chocolate zucchini bread! Thanks for the link.

      • elliesmom says:

My niece posted the recipe, but baking is a new skill for her. She hadn’t tried it yet. I was looking for something to make for my weekly lunch with a friend, and I had zucchini in the fridge. I used Ghiradelli ground chocolate for the cocoa. I used a 9″ loaf pan and set the oven to convect. It took about 5 extra minutes to bake it than the recipe called for. My friend and I ate it for dessert, I guess. We kept cutting off “just one more slice”. It’s something I will definitely make it again. Rich, moist, and very chocolate. And just a little bit healthy. 🙂

        • Mt.Laurel says:

Carrot cake is a vegetable. 🥕 so zucchini 🥒 plus dark cocoa 🍫 must be a super food!

  32. DandyTIger says:

When the video of Dershowitz on the news hour on foxnews is out, take a look. He shuts down the entire argument about Cohen. If you believe Cohen that Trump ordered the payment to help his election and then reimbursed Cohen, then it’s not a crime. If you think Cohen is lying and paid it himself, then it’s not a crime for Trump either. There is no scenario whether you believe Cohen or not that has Trump committing a crime. It’s not a crime to spend your own money on your campaign to pay hush money to help your campaign. And even if you neglect to report it, it’s a very minor reporting error fine. There is nothing that’s even close to impeachment here. Period.

So the left must think that when women voters hear he paid off these women they will not vote for Trump. Well Democrat men are worse with Bill Clinton screwing interns in the oval office, the Kennedys then there was Edwards and the love child with the idiot bimbo while his wife was dying from cancer. That leaves women voters with no major parties they can vote for I guess in Dems way of looking at things. Paying these women off isn’t an admission of banging them in my mind, it’s just controlling a nuisance. And I don’t give a rats ass if Trump banged these women anyway. This whole charade is just a lame ass stunt by Democrats.

Most alpha males really like women. It may be one or it may be a hundred. The elites have been into androgeny for quite a while of which Bronco was an example. Organizers of a planned protest to shutter the Kennedy Expressway on Labor Day unveiled the route on Wednesday.

Stretching from Cumberland Avenue to East River Road, the roughly milelong march on the expressway aims to cause travel headaches for those heading to and from O’Hare International Airport, the Rev. Gregory Livingston said at a City Hall news conference. The disruption, he says, will shine a light on the protesters’ demands: that Mayor Rahm Emanuel resign and that activists play a role in police officer contracts.
“…and that “activist” play a role in police contracts”.
