Sometimes I wonder if I’d still be a Dem if I never joined Twitter or FB. Thank goodness I stumbled across “myiq” on the RD fodder blog during the PUMA era. He was the only one making sense, then he was banned? So, here I am. A Roadie 😀

    • elliesmom says:

I followed him to RD’s blog one of the times we both got kicked off Talkleft.

      • DeniseVB says:

TALKLEFT ! OMG, another bad memory 😉

      • Myiq2xu™ says:

I think the only lefty blog that never banned me was DK, and that was only because I never posted anything or commented. Corrente was the first to ban me.

It would be interesting to do a “Where are they now” piece on the early bloggers. Money ruined Left Blogistan. When everybody was blogging for free it was beautiful. 2006 was probably the golden age of political blogging. It was b.o. (before Obama) and everyone was one big happy family.

        • DeniseVB says:

I never got banned from Daily Kos or Dem Underground because I sent them $$$. Was on those blogs for years, 2000-2009. Both Markos and Skinner bragged that ragey lefty was were the money was. Then sent Kevin Dujan $$ to help him with Hillbuzz, then he banned me ??? Then $upported the Tea Party til the IRS shut down the grassroots. Oy, sent Milo $$, for free books, now #WalkAway, CJPearson and Scott Presler. What a money trail, huh? Me stupid, i think?

      • DandyTIger says:

I was at DailyKos and TalkLeft first. Both of those places turned into nazi camps putting all non believers in death camps. OK, banning. But if they could, then would have gone further. Only later did the DemNazis learn about doxing and destroying lives outside of social networks. Then went onto RD and related places as the people interested in actually talking fractured and went to the four corners.

What was interesting was that the very people that first splintered because of shutting down discussions and banning became the same as the ones that banned them. And eventually bowed to the pressure to be full on DemNazis. You will assimilate. You will worship the great dog eating one. (never gets old).

      • NewOrleans says:

        Haha. TalkLeft.

Jeralyn banned me because I thought the Charles Manson bitches she was so in love with should not only stay in prison, but should rot in Hell. My “agenda” was not acceptable at her blog, she said. She LOVED her some killer bitches.

    • cynic says:

I also found “myiq” via RD. She was good for something…….

    • NewOrleans says:

Been following Klown for a long time! For the same reason you said: He was the only one making since. From RD to Klownhaus to TCH. Wherever Dear Leader went, I followed. Saved my sanity more times than I could ever admit.

The only oldies I really miss are the great WMCB and PrometheusSpeaks (from DK). The rest of those old-timers seem to have gone full fruitcake.

    • helenk3 says:

Me too. the more I found out about backtrack and his comrades the more I knew I could not vote for him. I believed in Hillary until she backed down to him and then was made SOS. Benghazi did it for me with her.

I would never have gotten to know the great people here if it had not been for RD blog and the PUMAS. You all have made my life better and I thank you for that.
Being independent instead of a dem just feels right,
this blog makes me question and think and laugh at times and that is a good thing

It is not a death toll. It is an artificial number based on a theoretical model. PR spent relief funds on getting GWU to come up with a number to get them even more money that will not go toward fixing infrastructure but right into their greasy little criminal hands. And then try and blame PT for their greedy and ineptness and total lack of conscious about what they have allowed to happen to the peons on that once fair isle.

I want to run a rich campaign about sex. I would use myself as first subject. I will admit everything. Then I want to ask Congress about payoffs. They have a ga g order.
I want to run and confess in public everything. Then I would want to talk about trade issues. After that health care. Section 8. Unemployment. I would love to run against Mike Doyle only to let him know his job is to represent us. He sucks ass. Boring if boring had committed suicide because it was bored with dull. He is dnc puppet. There is no challanger??????? Huh??? The rnc did not care to challenge. Trump has added at least 1000 jobs. Nope sip from local RNC. Could find unopposed😤

I’m surprised that the 4Chan guys aren’t publishing Ford’s deleted social media . I bet there is real Bat Shit crazy there!!

I’m waiting for the “I went to Holton Arms with Chrissy and she and the rest of us were drunken fuck bags”…see year books.

Holton Arms School is going take a major hit from this fiasco.

        • lyn says:

On Monday Sept. 17th, Christine Blasey Ford’s high school yearbooks suddenly disappeared from the web. I read them days before, knew they would be scrubbed, and saved them. Why did I know they would be scrubbed? Because if roles were reversed, and Christine Blasey Ford had been nominated for the Supreme Court by President Trump, the headline by the resistance would be this:

        • DeniseVB says:

She bragged she had 64 sexual partners between her sophomore year in h.s. and through college and also that she was an alcoholic ? 64 is an impressive number for someone with difficulties remembering details a non-sexual encounter 36 years ago with clumsy drunken high school boys who fell off the bed?

          • lateblum says:

64 sexual partners is an impressive number for anyone, but then who’s keeping score? Especially since, one presumes, being married for a number of years would have limited the number of sexual partners during at least those years of married life.
I keep wondering how she actually got involved in the present Kavanaugh matter. Did someone place an ad on Craig’s List the way they do when they want protestors or supporters to show up somewhere? Or is it the “truth” that she posted this letter to WaPo in 2012, as was reported somewhere? And if WaPo actually had said letter, did they contact the esteemed Ms Blasey-Ford this time?
To be honest, I cannot believe vanything coming from the Left. It’s too bad if her “story” is true. She is doing nothing to prove it is true. Scrubbing all social media, removing the shool’s online yearbooks, deleting anything remotely related to the “victim” all leads me to conclude Blasey-Ford’s story is a lie.
What a sordid thing this has turned out to be. I remember the Clarence Thomas-Anita Hill debacle. I was a Democrat and believed everything – every story told from the D’s perspective. Now I believe no one. If I were forced to choose sides, the D’s side would be my very last choice.
So I guess there really is a silver lining behind those dark clouds.

    • Mt.Laurel says:

I have seen several references to the fact that the scrub of her social media and any reference to her on other websites was a professional job. Not that ambitious geeks cannot find footprints underneath all the bleach. It has to be damming or they would not have bothered to try and leave no trace.

  12. lyn says:

But I do not believe we have immunity to accuse without consequence, and as a survivor I advocate due process and the concept of “innocent until proven guilty” more now than ever. Don’t blame a person for not reporting sooner, but don’t damn the accused to compensate for it.

  13. helenk3 says:

She (Ford} must be feeling more important that she ever did in her life. she has congress catering to her, she thinks she can derail a supreme court candidate.
Playing the victim seems to be the in thing now. He did not rape her as the dems seem to be turning this case into a rape. I doubt if what she claims ever happened. I had teenagers in the 80s they were not snowflakes that would be traumatized by a groping. the would have made the boy’s life pure hell at the time not 36 years later. this whole thing just smells wrong.
the more this nomination hearing goes on the less respect I have for democrats. Crazytown is just about right to call them

She’s talking about Katie Hunt. When I first saw her on MSNBC, I thought she was a gossip columnist wearing a political cap. I still think she is a gossip. Nothing’s changed.

I don’t understand why this isn’t a problem with “feminists”? The most oppressive religion against women in the world does not bother them? LGBT should be concerned too, yet they keep blaming white males for all their problems since the history of the worrrrrrld. It’s mind boggling.

    • SHV says:

Worst President is an interesting question. Woodrow Wilson always was my #1 until Bush II lied us into the Iraq/ME disasters then Obama took #1 until Hillary lost and Obama’s legacy went into the shitter. I agree with PDJT, Iraq War is worst mistake in US history, $7+ trillion down a rat hole and millions(?) killed, therefore Bush is back to #1 and his anti-Trump behavior seals the deal. POS!!

And now a message from Comrade Bernie to his fellow revolutionaries.
I suspect my SIL put me on Bernies email list.
    Bernie Sanders
    Sisters and Brothers,

Kevin Cramer, the Republican candidate in a top-tier U.S. Senate race had a pretty dire warning about the stakes in this election. He said:

“If Democrats take control of the United States Senate, the Chairman of the Budget Committee will be Bernie Sanders.”

That sounds like a good idea to us. Let’s take back the Senate.

But accomplishing that goal requires winning a few tough races and electing strong progressives like Tina Smith in Minnesota and Tammy Baldwin in Wisconsin.

Can you split a $3 donation between Senators Tina Smith’s, Tammy Baldwin’s, and Bernie’s campaigns? This is the most important FEC deadline of the campaign. Let’s make it count.

A few polls have these races pretty close. Within single digits. So your support today could mean the difference between victory and defeat. The difference between a Democratic Senate and a Republican one. The difference between Budget Chairman Mike Enzi or Chairman Bernie Sanders.

    Thanks for chipping in,

    Jeff Weaver
    Team Bernie

And the PC crowd harassed poor Barbie for those immortal words “Math is hard . . ” . Mattel could now reissue that model and call her Holton Arms Barbie and been off the hook. And as Barbie is now (I assume) made in China – DiDI should be one happy little spy as I am sure hubby will be making money off the deal.
