Two and a Half Men – Checking for Semen

One of my favorite sitcom scenes ever. WTH, it’s a TCH Saturday Day Night Open Thread ! Also TVLand is running a Two Men marathon right now. I was never politically correct.

Speaking of Charlie Sheen, hope myiq gets his ‘puter behaving 😉

Good. Good. I really had nothing, just a play thing 😀 Taking the weekend off from “Dr” Ratchet news. With Scotch ❤

      • Jadzia says:

My spidey senses go off whenever an individual who doesn’t have a MEDICAL degree insists on being called “Dr.” If I’m on a cruise ship and somebody asks if there’s a doctor in the house, it’s not my expertise they need! The ones who get REALLY huffy about their title not being used tend to be the ones who have purchased a degree from a Sri Lankan diploma mill (TRUE STORY) or someplace similar.

        • DeniseVB says:

True story Dr. Jadzia, a friend of ours was so pissed he didn’t make Admiral, he retired, got his Ph.d just so he could use the Dr. on all his correspondence. Yeah, Dr. Uppitypants was finally happy again, because retiring as a Navy Captain was beneath him? Geeesh.

Funny, maybe racist, story. Shortly after 9-11, I took the train to NYC from a tiny *NO SECURITY* station in Newport News, VA. About 6 men, who looked like the hijackers, boarded too. I was convinced I was doomed because I always thought the next “attack” would occur when the train tunneled under the Capitol Bldg going into Union Station. Nope. BUT they didn’t get off in DC, crap. Chugging up the NE Corridor, I started to relax, UNTIL……the train came to a sudden, stop in a small town. Started to worry again, until the conducter asked over the intercom, is there a doctor on board? All those 6 young men answered that call. I saw an ambulance arrive and two of them got into the ambulance with an older lady who obviously had a medical event. Then we chugged off. The other 4 returned, and I wanted to hug them all ❤

The GOP doesn’t want to be framed as “supporting rapists” if they hammer Ford. Makes me sick. Kavanaugh is NOT a rapist, touchy/feely is not rape. JFC, it’s high school clumsy boys who freaked over a girl screaming, hand over mouth?

A lot of folks are saying if Kavanaugh isn’t seated by the opening day, he can’t sit on cases all year. That makes absolutely no sense, and I can’t find an answer, which migh mean it’s a ridiculous question.

    • lyn says:

That doesn’t sound right. I would assume he couldn’t vote on the cases he didn’t hear.

    • Somebody says:

It isn’t true. Justice Gorsuch’s first day was April 17th. The confirmation for Justice Thomas was delayed several weeks, so he started mid October. Justice Roberts was also confirmed and seated mid SCOTUS term.

I believe the rules are such that they can’t rule on cases where they missed oral arguments. That is my understanding of the rules.

  10. SHV says:

Well with all of the nasty shit going down, a nice human interest story. Al, the wife, and her mother are in Vancouver, BC and both ran 1/2 marathon (13.1 miles) today. Her mom (age 77) has been training for the race all summer, walking her Pit Bull 2-3 miles early in AM and running treadmill, up to 10miles, in the afternoon. Al finished and went back out to run with her mom. At about mile 10, her mom started having severe back spasms but kept pushing to finish dead last. Al said the race organizers had been packing up the finish line but when her mom got close to finish, they stopped and treated her mom like the winner. Al sent a pic., her mom looks like a million bucks, Al is crying and looks like a wreck. Wimminz??!!

    • Mt.Laurel says:

God love both of them. I think I could walk that distance if I made sure to get in enough practices at longer distances but I could never run that far anymore. That is quite an accomplishment. Very nice of the organizers to not ignore the very last arrival.

    • Cisco says:

      13.1 mile?
If you think you can’t do it, you won’t.
      She didn’t quit 👍

    • DeniseVB says:

What an accomplishment for Mom ! To finish a race like that is not for wussies. 5K is my max, WALKING ! I think my favorite so far was the (annual, in April) 9-11 Museum Run/Walk in NYC. Not only for a good cause, but one of the most beautiful walks I’ve ever taking in NYC, along Battery Park and the Hudson River with FDNY and NYPD handing out cups of water along the way….thanking us. Whoa, goosebumps, no, thank YOU. At the end of the route, you turned a corner with the Freedom Tower in view. I teared up.

    • helenk3 says:

that is great. congratulate her for me. What a LADY

    • lateblum says:

What a wonderful accomplishment – for both. Even though your wife runs marathons -you said she’s running the 2018 Chicago Marathon – finishing the half and going back to be with her mom – what a champion! She did a marathon in my eyes. I’m in awe of BOTH of these amazing women.

I would love to know if that’s really AlWaleed Bin Talal. It’s long been reported he was one of Obama’s primary . . . um . . . benefactors. They sure do look cozy.

In any case, Bin Talal has sure been quiet since he got bitchslapped by President Trump AND double-bitchslapped by his cousin, Crown Prince MBS.

    • DeniseVB says:

You rarely see photos from Obama’s younger days, but if you do see him with girls, it’s white wimmins. Along the way, someone convinced him if he wanted a career in politics, he needed a black wife. I think the history, or what we know of him now, has been completely fabricated because none of it makes sense.

      • lateblum says:

His life is a composite of lies, fabricated to make him appear sophisticated, worldly, and saintly. If people actually knew what, and mostly WHO made up the narrative and staged the timeline, I would hope minds might change. But then, cult members are pretty much immune to change. If my family members ever learned the truth, they’d still put all their faith in their messiah. And trust me, I’ve shared everything I’ve ever known about him from the getgo. Starting with the townhall meeting that I attended in 2007. It made zero difference.

  19. Anthony says:

I was also a high school slut. As a matter of fact, that’s sugarcoating it. I stopped just short of the ‘Total Pig’ level.

Unlike Dr. Ford, I totally own it. Am I proud of it? Not particularly, but it did have its advantages. Like a pair of 3rd row dead center seats to a sold out Doors concert, mine for the taking in exchange for a toss in the back seat of my buddy Bill’s Dodge Challenger. That was a two-fer. I had a GTO at the time but always wondered whether I should’ve went for the Challenger. In the end, I was delighted with both my choice of a vehicle as well as great seats to see Morrison live.

And then there was the time I forgot to go to my economics class for almost a whole semester. Amazing how easy it was to get an A just for talking filthy to my teacher while he pulled off in a vacant classroom. He offered a B afterward, but I reminded him that I have a tendency to blurt shit out when I’m crossed. I got my A.

It was the era of Free Love (does barter contradict that? 🤫) and I took full advantage of it. I knew I was only in high school and that it was probably a stupid mistake, but I also knew I would be forgiven, even if begrudgingly, because of my tender age and lack of worldliness. Even if years later I might be a SCOTUS nominee.

So, Dr, Ford, it’s time to get over yourself. It seems from some screen shots of your social media and high school yearbook, you managed to be both a party monster as well as an easy lay. Just like me. Just like many young people who were trying to figure out how to manage their new hormones. It’s really not a big deal. You were young and stupid. Grow the fuck up and move on.

    • Dora says:

You seemed to have had a pretty wild life Anthony, but you turned out just fine.

      You are a good man.

I have one disagreement with you in your advice to Dr. Ford. You treat the incident as being true. I don’t believe it really happened.

I guess we will find out soon. That is, if the hearings ever take place.

      • Anthony says:

Thanks for the compliment Dora. To be clear, I didn’t say I believed her, I said that from the looks of things, she was a hard partying slut in HS 🤣🤣🤣 Nothing to be ashamed of or turn into a (literal) federal case on her part. Own it, smile at the memories and move on.

Recovered memories are, I believe, mostly bullshit. It seems ford was in marriage counseling when it surfaced. Not sure what is true, but read her husband said that they left the East coast because she was not getting the attention she deserved. Out west with a decent job, but still no star. Mediocre at best. Think she was an original snowflake. Perhaps she noticed how others from her peer group were shining. Can’t be her fault. Perhaps there was a guy who ignored her or spurned her advances. Sifting through her past trying to make sense of her average present an old resentment bubbles up. Cannot be her fault. Now this guy is a supernova. It is not fair.
My guess is that there are other similar instances a pattern of behavior. Either that or its a piss poor total political fabrication.

Christine Fords testimony is definitely a stall and an all out war to destroy. While checking out GoFundMe accts, I found 4 accts for here. There may be more under other things. They are all on a full fledge rant to destroy Judge Kavanaugh and the republican party.

    1. Help Christine Blasey Ford (Team Christine Blasey Ford – Commumity, Los Altos, CA) – $132,754
(money raised from this campaign is going directly to the Ford Family)

    2. We Believe Women (Asley Horvat-Community Bainbridge Island WV) -$34,316.
(Money raised for major newspaper ads and they plan on working with Planned Parenthood)

    3. We Believe Dr Christine Blasey Ford (a coalition of organizations, movement leaders and individuals engaged in the fight to stop this nomination) – $18,757
(Funds to go directly to Christine Ford)

    4. Cover Dr. Blasey’s Security Costs (Heidi Feldman- Washington DC, professor of law at Georgetown University ) – $209,987
(fundraiser is to make concrete the power of collective action in providing security, and therefore support, for Dr. Blasey’s willingness to contribute to a thorough, fair vetting of a nominee for Supreme Court Justice)

Altogether that is $395,814 from these four that I found.

Heh he’ll show us his calendars–let’s see Ford’s: NYT News Alert: Kavanaugh to Give Senate Calendars From 1982 to Back Up Denial
    Sept. 23, 2018

Judge Brett M. Kavanaugh’s team says calendars from 1982 do not corroborate his accuser’s claims, but acknowledges that it does not disprove them.T.J. Kirkpatrick for The New York Times
WASHINGTON — Judge Brett M. Kavanaugh has calendars from the summer of 1982 that he plans to hand over to the Senate Judiciary Committee that do not show a party consistent with the description of his accuser, Christine Blasey Ford, according to someone working for his confirmation.

The calendars do not disprove Dr. Blasey’s allegations, Judge Kavanaugh’s team acknowledged. He could have attended a party that he did not list. But his team will argue to the senators that the calendars provide no corroboration for her account of a small gathering at a house where he allegedly pinned her to a bed and tried to remove her clothing.

The calendars show, according to the person working for his confirmation, that he was out of town much of the summer at the beach or away with his parents. When he was at home, the calendars list his basketball games, movie outings, football workouts and college interviews. A few parties are mentioned but include names of friends other than those identified by Dr. Blasey.

Judge Kavanaugh and Dr. Blasey plan to testify before the Judiciary Committee on Thursday as it considers whether to endorse his nomination to the Supreme Court. Dr. Blasey’s allegation of sexual assault when they were both teenagers has upended his seeming path to confirmation and set the stage for a public test of credibility when the two appear separately before the senators.

  57. SHV says:

“The calendars show, according to the person working for his confirmation, that he was out of town much of the summer at the beach or away with his parents. When he was at home, the calendars list his basketball games, movie outings, football workouts and college interviews.”
