    Seems legit…

    • lyn says:

Are Democrats pimps or what?! I hope Kavanaugh sues the shit out of these assholes.

      • Ann says:

My husband said the same thing. (Can a public figure sue for defamation of character?)

And Grassley and Mitch need to get on the stick and get this voted on WITH the squishes voteing for Kavanaugh.

        • lyn says:

You could say a judge is not a public figure like an actor or politician.

          • Jadzia says:

A judge would probably be viewed as a limited-purpose public figure, so treated in defamation law as a public figure for purposes of statements related to his or her work/qualifications/capacity as a judge, broadly interpreted.

          • mothy2017 says:

Don’t knows nuttin about da law, but everything seems pretty well crafted to give cover to accusers. ” I just told what I remembered” everything is rather vague.

    • Island Girl says:

That scumbag is the sleaziest of sleaze. I unblocked him and will relate this message.

After six days of carefully assessing her memories and consulting with her attorney, Ramirez said that she felt confident enough of her recollections to say that she remembers Kavanaugh had exposed himself at a drunken dormitory party, thrust his penis in her face, and caused her to touch it without her consent as she pushed him away. Ramirez is now calling for the F.B.I. to investigate Kavanaugh’s role in the incident. “I would think an F.B.I. investigation would be warranted,” she said.

    • lyn says:

Didn’t Jamie Foxx do something like this? Is he still alive?

    • mothy2017 says:

And why would that involve the FBI. God these people think we are stupid.

    • Myiq2xu™ says:

After six days of carefully assessing her memories and consulting with her attorney, Ramirez said that she felt confident enough of her recollections to say that she remembers Kavanaugh had exposed himself at a drunken dormitory party, thrust his penis in her face, and caused her to touch it without her consent as she pushed him away. Ramirez is now calling for the F.B.I. to investigate Kavanaugh’s role in the incident. “I would think an F.B.I. investigation would be warranted,” she said.

In a statement, Kavanaugh wrote, “This alleged event from 35 years ago did not happen. The people who knew me then know that this did not happen, and have said so. This is a smear, plain and simple. I look forward to testifying on Thursday about the truth, and defending my good name–and the reputation for character and integrity I have spent a lifetime building–against these last-minute allegations.”

White House spokesperson Kerri Kupec said the administration stood by Kavanaugh. “This 35-year-old, uncorroborated claim is the latest in a coordinated smear campaign by the Democrats designed to tear down a good man. This claim is denied by all who were said to be present and is wholly inconsistent with what many women and men who knew Judge Kavanaugh at the time in college say. The White House stands firmly behind Judge Kavanaugh.”

Update 3. Mark Judge is in this new Ronan Farrow story as well:

After seeing Judge’s denial, Elizabeth Rasor, who met Judge at Catholic University and was in a relationship with him for about three years, said that she felt morally obligated to challenge his account that “ ‘no horseplay’ took place at Georgetown Prep with women.” Rasor stressed that “under normal circumstances, I wouldn’t reveal information that was told in confidence,” but, she said, “I can’t stand by and watch him lie.” In an interview with The New Yorker, she said, “Mark told me a very different story.” Rasor recalled that Judge had told her ashamedly of an incident that involved him and other boys taking turns having sex with a drunk woman. Rasor said that Judge seemed to regard it as fully consensual. She said that Judge did not name others involved in the incident, and she has no knowledge that Kavanaugh participated. But Rasor was disturbed by the story and noted that it undercut Judge’s protestations about the sexual innocence of Georgetown Prep. (Barbara Van Gelder, an attorney for Judge, said that he “categorically denies” the account related by Rasor. Van Gelder said that Judge had no further comment.)

          From New Yorker article.
“She was at first hesitant to speak publicly, partly because her memories contained gaps because she had been drinking at the time of the alleged incident.”
          You mean drunk 🍸😲🍸
Another another allegation by another flooz.

          • lateblum says:

“She was at first hesitant to speak publicly, partly because her memories contained gaps because she had been drinking at the time of the alleged incident.”

But they came up with just right amount of $$ and she recalled everything a# if it had been in a script she’d been handed. I hope Arkancide doesn’t befall her down the road to keep her quiet. Or they’ll blame Kavanaugh for it.

    • taw46 says:

And Avenatti says he has a client, not Ramirez. So that makes three. I don’t know, just can’t see the GOP sticking with him. Even though Ramirez is another with drunken memory and had to think about it for 6 days. It disgusts me to no end, that the Dems have waited until now to run with all of this.

  4. lyn says:

I think abortion should be labeled as “sexual misconduct.”

  5. lateblum says:

Really I am so sickened by all this trash that I am now glad my parents are gone and cannot see what their precious Democrat party has become. I remember when Carter was running for re-election against Reagan. I was so disgusted by the choices that I told my father I’d rather vote for. Nixon than Carter and I’d never voted for an R before that. Surprisingly he didn’t kick me out of the house, but agreed with me. We both loathed Nixon. I ended up voting for John Anderson, a Republican from Rockford, IL who ran as an independent.
After this disgusting trashing of the nomination process, I’d cut my hands off before I’d vote for a Democrat EVER AGAIN. I wish I could rant like the best here. I’m simply sickened by this.

    • lyn says:

I hope Democrats become a minority party after this. After all, they are the country’s largest hate group.

    • Dora says:

I say that about my parents too. They were both democrats although my Mom was more loyal to the party. She bragged about never voting for an R.

Also about the church. My Dad was a good Catholic and would be heartbroken if he could see what’s happening there.

It seems as if the world they knew is falling apart.

      • taw46 says:

And really, the world we grew up in, all falling apart. My mother was a Dem, as were two of her brothers. The other three brothers were R’s. I loved listening to all six of them, they could talk politics and joke with each other. Never got mad. I just don’t see that anywhere today.

      • lateblum says:

Heck, Dora, the world I knew has fallen apart. 😢

  6. DandyTIger says:

So the Bush establishment guy we didn’t like at first might be toast. Oh no, that means we might have to go with that woman we liked much better. 🙂

    • NewOrleans says:

I still think we’re going to get Kavanaugh, but I think it would be funny for Trump to ‘leak’ the name of a rabid conservative – I mean a rabid one! – who does want to overturn Roe, etc. and say that if Brett doesn’t get the job, the rabid one will.

      • Somebody says:

That is exactly what I told hubby he should do. There is one on his list, a judge from Alabama whose name starts with a P. Proctor or Pryor maybe.

If he nominates him we’ll be treated to the underage girl stuff again, ala Roy Moore. 🙄

What will they claim about the lady judge? My bet is an illegal nanny or underpaid taxes. They could go for broke and have females claim she felt them up, or maybe little boys….I would put nothing past them 🙄

    • Jadzia says:

Yeah, if Kavanaugh goes down, I REALLY want to see Amy Coney Barrett (that’s her name, right?) put up.

  7. SHV says:

The Judiciary Committee vote now means nothing. Grassley and Mitch are looking at the Senate vote and Murkowski and Collins are calling the shots and jerking the leadership around. IIRC, Flake has already said he is going to vote “Present”, so the best outcome is 50 votes “for”. Flake can’t wait to vote “Present” at the committee and full Senate vote; he has been dreaming about a Parthian Shot at Trump for more than a year.

  8. Dora says:

    They were in hiding.

  10. lyn says:

    Clarice on FB:

has obtained a copy of a letter Grassley sent to Blasey-Ford legal team today. Requires all correspondence and evidence that she sent to Feinstein, journalists and others.

  12. lyn says:

  13. SHV says:

The 2018 mid-term elections will be one of those watershed moments in US politics. The Senate post Jan 1, 2019 is crucial; McCain, Corker, Flake gone but Murkowski and Collins and other Swamp Rethugs. still there. Trump needs 56+ Rethug. Senators. Hopefully if there is a strong majority, there will be major scorched earth/nuclear destruction leveled at the Dem/Prog/Socs in the Senate. Jan 1, 2019, Mitch can announce that the Filibuster is going to end and the Dems will no longer be involved in the legislative process. Just ram legislation, executive and Judicial appointments down their throats.

Dracula’s Castle where the three accusers previously lived:

  15. lyn says:

    Excellent thread.

    • lyn says:

I posted it on Grassley’s FB page.

      • lateblum says:

You should post the letter on Grassley’s FB page. Since it’s already on Twitter, he should see there’s nothing sacred and nothing is secret anymore. I can’t tell if Grassley is a wimp, has genuine regard for women or in in on the plot to disqualify Trump’s nominees.

    • DandyTIger says:

Agree. I think it’s over for Kavanaugh. Even though each accusation on its own can be defended. Grassley opened the flood gates to Dems, and the Dems accepted. One turns into three, three will turn into ten. Etc. Each one individually can easily be batted down. But the hoard of demons is too much, esp. with such a thin margin of GOP and hardly a spine among them.

    • taw46 says:

What bs. Grassley should go ahead and release it, like that time Feinstein released the classified Fusion GPS testimony. Grow a pair, Grassley.

  16. taw46 says:

By the way, @JamesWoodsAlt is not @JamesWoods, per his girlfriend @Millerita. She says he is still not on twitter.

  22. DandyTIger says:

Notice how Trump is happy and not freaking out about Kavanaugh. He likes the guy, but remember this was him throwing a bone to the Bush establishment and never-trump GOPs. I’m not sure he cares one way or the other. He has other picks he’d rather have I’d guess. Of course he’d be happy to have him, and hates that the GOP is so weak to let this happen, but just one more evidence that he gets things done in spite of congress.

    • Somebody says:

I agree Dandy, Kavanaugh wasn’t on his original list. He was one of the 6-7 names he added later, after becoming POTUS or POTUS-elect. I think given the slim margin in the senate he figured an establishment guy would be easier to confirm.

If Kavanaugh doesn’t make it, I think he goes with the lady judge Barrett.

    • SHV says:

If Bret goes down, Amy is up next, that will make this shit storm look tame.

  30. SHV says:

PDJT appears to be very calm watching the Senate Shit Show. IMO, his calculation now is no matter the outcome of the Kavanaugh situation, he wins. If Kavanaugh get approval then, Kavanaugh is likely more anti-Prog radicalized, if he goes down, PDJT, the outsider can beat the Dems and Rethug enables, like rented mules until Nov. 6. for their despicable behavior.

LOL! The profile picture of Thomas AND Roseanne with strainers on their head is a riot!

      • swanspirit says:

I deeply and sincerely hope Wictor is correct. The Democrats have proven they are true, any means to an end, communists, and hypocrites. They really have run this play too many times. They are disgusting sewer rats. They don’t care about the law, decency, and they will descend to, and use any filth to impose and regain power.

The Republicans had a real chance to expose these Dimocrat slime, and stand up to them, and didn’t.
The Republicans, like Grassley, are so old and ineffectual, they still freak out, and don’t know how to act, when somebody says SEX.

They didn’t have to appear unfeeling, and insensitive to women, or even to the #metoo movement to refute all the bullshit, and it is concocted and opportunistic and deliberate bullshit.
So they let themselves, our laws, and Judge Kavenaugh, get run over roughshod by the most outrageous and unsubstantiated claims, that should be dismissed our of hand.

So, I really hope, the American people, at least the ones that aren’t already blinded by hate or lust for power, like Feinstein or Hirono, and their pushy hat brigadiers, can see how truly slimy and disgusting, and unsuited for power they are.

They are sick people. But that’s no excuse!

Brett Kavanaugh’s wife receiving violent threats

The wife of Judge Brett Kavanaugh, President Trump’s nominee to the Supreme Court, has received a host of vulgar threats since a California professor accused him of sexual assault.

  42. Underwhelmed says:

All we can hope and pray for is that this disgusting spectacle nauseates many many people who then make the effort to punish the Dems in November.

    • taw46 says:

I hope so. I live in a town that went solidly for Hillary, and they are as left as can be. None of them have changed their mind. I just hope the “normal”, average people will have their eyes opened. There is no changing the other group.

  43. Dora says:

The dems know this. It’s why they use it as a weapon!

  44. taw46 says:

“NY Times passed on the story
Ronan Farrow has disgraced himself. NY TIMES:

The Times had interviewed several dozen people over the past week in an attempt to corroborate her story, and could find no one with firsthand knowledge. Ms. Ramirez herself contacted former Yale classmates asking if they recalled the incident and told some of them that she could not be certain Mr. Kavanaugh was the one who exposed himself.”

If I were chairman of the Judiciary Committee, I’d get all of the Republican Senators in a room and say, “It was all a set up. I’m calling the vote tomorrow at 10 am over the objection of the Democrats. You all have to vote ‘yes.’ That’s the way it is. No more games. Then we advance him to the Senate, and Mitch is going to send call a vote at noon. Vice President will swear him in at the White House at 1 pm. Dinner is a 5 pm sharp. Donald Trump is leading the toast.”
