Please Tell The Honorable Elijah Cummings To Go Pound Sand Up His Ass

Elijah Cumstain is high on my list of alleged human beings that I loathe. Cumstain sits in a Congressional “safe” seat set aside for a black Democrat (duly authorized by the Voting Rights Act of 1965):

Maryland’s 7th congressional district elects a representative to the United States House of Representatives every two years. The seat is currently represented by Elijah Cummings (D). It encompasses just over half of Baltimore City, most of the majority African American sections of Baltimore County, and the majority of Howard County. The district was created following the census of 1950, which gave Maryland one additional representative in the House. It has been drawn as a majority-African American district since 1973.

So what did old Cumstain do to piss me off now?

Cummings: Trump White House ‘Now Stands in Open Defiance of a Duly Authorized Congressional Subpoena’

House Oversight and Reform Committee Chairman Elijah Cummings (D-Md.) says he will consult with lawyers and other committee members about holding Carl Kline, the former White House personnel security director, in contempt of Congress.

Kline, subpoenaed by the committee to appear for a deposition on Tuesday morning, failed to show up.

The White House told the Committee it ordered Kline not to appear, but Cummings said President Trump has not asserted any Constitutional or other privilege that would have relieved Kline of his legal obligation to testify.

“The White House and Mr. Kline now stand in open defiance of a duly authorized congressional subpoena with no assertion of any privilege of any kind by President Trump,” Chairman Cummings said in a statement.

“Based on these actions, it appears that the President believes that the Constitution does not apply to his White House, that he may order officials at will to violate their legal obligations, and that he may obstruct attempts by Congress to conduct oversight. It also appears that the White House believes that it may dictate to Congress — an independent and co-equal branch of government — the scope of its investigations and even the rules by which it conducts them. To date, the White House has refused to produce a single piece of paper or a single witness in any of the Committee’s investigations this entire year.”

The White House earlier told the committee it would not allow Kline to appear unless the White House counsel accompanied him.

Cummings said the White House’s position is “untenable,” and he accused the administration of “stonewalling.”

Kline is accused of retaliating against a whistleblower, Tricia Newbold, who objected to Kline granting security clearances that were flagged as problematic.

The Oversight Committee is investigating security clearances for 25 administration employees, who were granted security clearances or eligibility to access national security information despite recommendations to deny their applications.

In addition to subpoenaing Kline, the committee has demanded “data and adjudication summaries for John Bolton, Michael Flynn, Sebastian Gorka, Jared Kushner, John McEntee, K.T. McFarland, Robert Porter, Robin Townley, and Ivanka Trump”; and documents memorializing the circumstances under which security clearances were granted or denied to, or suspended or revoked from, those same people.

In his April 23 statement, Cummings wrote:

“As the Committee with primary jurisdiction over the Whistleblower Protection Act, we take extremely seriously our responsibility to investigate these allegations and to protect the rights of all whistleblowers who come before Congress. Mr. Kline has a direct and personal legal obligation to comply with this subpoena, and he failed to do so.”

Fuck Cumstain and the rest of the House Democrats. Tell Cumstain to go pound sand up his ass. What are they gonna do, hold Trump in contempt? This is not Congressional Oversight, this is a fishing expedition. Some Deep Staters were holding up security clearances for some to Trump people, then they were granted clearances anyway so the Deep Staters leaked that info to the media.

Cummings is one of the reasons Baltimore has become another Democrat shithole. Especially his district. Him and other elected officials that sell children’s books that don’t exist, while the children in Baltimore schools don’t have heat
    They all belong in jail.

I’m curious as to how she thinks she can just dictate, I thought she was an attorney. It seems she wants to be our first dictator in chief.

I know she checks all the boxes for the left, but do they really want someone running on openly trashing the constitution. How much bitching and whining have they done about the national emergency declaration on the border? But Kamala trashing the 2nd amendment is totes cool??? Newsflash, there are democrat gun owners, sure some are mass shooters, but I’m sure some are law abiding ones 😛

      • lateblum says:

I believe the Dems might be more than happy with their candidate trashing the Constitution. I just watched “RBG” earlier this week. I have long admired her and still do. BUT, she is not a constitutionalist. And neither are the Dems. They all believe it is a document that must grow with the times. So Kamala actually does check the Dems boxes.

    Ho Lee Phuc:

Parenting magazine Baby & Family has told readers to beware of families who are “inconspicuous” and “cheerful”, as these warning signs indicate they are right wing and thus “dangerous”.
Depicted with illustrations featuring solely blonde women and children, the report says ordinary parents must take action against right-wing families and make clear that their ideology has no place in the world.

Asserting that the term “right wing” “stirs up anxiety” and brings to mind “burning refugee homes”, skinheads, and the National Socialist Underground (NSU) group who carried out a string of violent attacks on foreign people, Baby & Family notes that people “rarely connect it with women, family and children”.

This, the high-circulation German magazine declares, “is precisely the great risk” as such people are just as dangerous if not more so as gangs of Nazi skinheads. The identifying features of right-wing families, it contends, are that they are “inconspicuous, blond, cute and engaged”.

“First of all, [right-wing families] are nice and dedicated” Michaela Köttig, sociologist and researcher of right-wing extremism at the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences, alleges.

Researcher of right-wing politics, Eva Prausner, says a huge danger of right-wing families is that they seem normal.

Because of this, she says many parents will already have established good relations with them to the point that they “are no longer marginalised and at worst, get support”.

While there are different types of right-wing families, Baby & Family asserts that daycare centres should always seek help when dealing with them.

“The right has many forms. The definition of what is extreme and what is not is difficult”, it says, but asserts that all manifestations must be dealt with because right wingers could spread their views when meeting with other parents in the playground.

Heike Radvan of the controversial Amadeu Antonio Foundation warns that “children of right-wing parents are not necessarily different from other children”, but says they are often “very obedient” and might not talk much.

Despite asserting that such children are not outspoken, the “experts” wheeled out by the magazine warn that a sinister aspect of right-wing parenting is that they instil self-confidence in their progeny.

They do this, Prausner posits, in hope that “their offspring will later confidently carry their ideology into the world”.

Köttig explains that right-wing families are not unlike ordinary families in that they teach their own values. The important difference with extreme right-wing groups, however, is that these values are “strongly geared at Germanic customs and traditions”.

Prausner says “right-wing kids” are aware that they should keep their family lives private, but she adds that a telltale sign of right-wing extremism is that there are usually no American logos on their parents’ clothing.

This is not to say there aren’t visual signs which can indicate a child is from a right-wing family, however, the researcher points out. Prausner warns that, while most people wouldn’t recognise them as such, “accurate braids and long skirts” serve as a warning sign that a child has right-wing parents.

    • Jadzia says:

The only cheerful blonde family I know isn’t particularly right wing, just Mormon. So nice!!!!!

    • DandyTIger says:

Gosh this sounds so familiar. Oh yeah, just like the ways similar experts talked about Jews in the 20s and 30s.

      • Somebody says:

Damn skippy, first thing I thought of. Except it’s the polar opposite of the master race, now blonds with blue eyes are the enemy.

Who the fuck are these supposed experts? Do they know nothing of history? Politics? Right wingers are NOT socialists.

    • 1539days says:

Germany has been a lost cause for years. They already made home schooling illegal. You would think a country that used government education to indoctrinate kids into the Nazi Party would be more skeptical about centralized social policy.

      • Constance says:

Home schooling is a must for free people. Parents should be able to make sure the government doesn’t indoctrinate their kids. Seattle has a huge homeschooling movement with regular meetups for social growth and arrangements for the kids to take advanced classes that their family can’t teach. Online classes make it much easier to manage. It is mandatory that the state make their curriculum available and accept the homeschool kids on their local schools sports teams if they want to participate. It’s probably only a matter of time until the commies in Olympia try to destroy the Home schoolers with regulations and taxes.
