When The Levee Breaks

Crap-filled Nattering Nabobs:

Iowa’s downtown Davenport floods after Mississippi River barrier fails

A portion of Davenport still was flooded Wednesday morning, a day after the swollen Mississippi River broke through a temporary barrier in the Iowa city and rushed into downtown, covering streets and surrounding homes and businesses.

With the river at flood stage in several states, Davenport’s flooding could portend what other communities downriver could face in the coming days if barriers don’t hold.
Tuesday afternoon’s breach at Davenport’s riverfront turned some downtown streets into a virtual lake, with water coming up to some vehicles’ hoods and windshields. Water rushed into a few blocks, city official Kurt Allemeier said.

Fire department crews got into boats and helped ferry people from their surrounded homes and businesses, CNN affiliates WQAD and WHBF reported. In some instances they took residents to their homes to gather belongings, and then brought them back to dry land.

No worries – twenty or so Democrat candidates for president are rushing to the scene, where they will hold back nature by the sheer force of their will and they’ll dry everything out with blasts of hot air. They will also promise Iowans billions of dollars in aid if they are elected. All the Democrats agree that Iowa is vital to America because Iowa holds the first caucuses in the nation.

Anonymous vandals leak garden hose into office of Portland lawyer who represents ICE employees

Sometime over the weekend, anonymous vandals stuck a garden hose through the front-door mail slot of lawyer Sean Riddell’s Northeast Portland office and left the water running.

Someone who works in the office — a house converted into business space — discovered the mess about 2:30 p.m. Sunday.

    • Myiq2xu™ says:

I know a guy who did that to his ex-employer in California. He was charged with felony burglary. (constructive entry + intent to commit felony vandalism = burglary.)

It’s nothing but a big circle-jerk among the Dem’s with occasional change of pivot man/woman.
But imo, just keeps bitch slapping the Dem’s.
All their gotcha’ questions Barr doesn’t fall for.
      He truly out thinks them.

Yes, and Border Patrol has set up a tent city on the side of the mountain. It is next to a neighborhood as in walking 1/4 of a mile to the nearest house. This is Beto Land. For the record, I find any of this trash on my lawn I will personally deliver to Beto’s home where that is welcomed.

I think they are holding a lot of these investigations to be able to release them during election season. Trump is a TV guy, he probably has his 20 episode season lined up already with minor script changes to keep it fresh at the last minute.

A Democratic Lawsuit Over Trump’s Business Dealings With Foreign Governments Can Proceed

(WASHINGTON) — A federal judge in Washington ruled Tuesday that a group of Democrats in Congress can proceed with a lawsuit against President Donald Trump alleging his businesses violate a constitutional ban against gifts from foreign governments.

That’s how they destroyed Sarah Palin’s life. RINOs could have stopped them, but they didn’t. Nor did they stop the weaponized Obama IRS for shutting down the Tea Party. It’s what we hired Trump to do, burn it all down 😀

I am so honest to goodness angry with these supposed journalists and Congress people. I cannot believe I was a Democrat for more than 50 years and even though I saw some of this behavior, I thought it was justified. Nothing like this is justified – period. But this crusade is simply because THEY LOST AN ELECTION. W. T. F.

      Democrats think they are privileged.

      • lateblum says:

Yes. They do. I’d like to escort them and their privilege right to the moon.

    • swanspirit says:

Not only are they off the chain, they are so far from rational, it is frightening. They have made obvious what they are after, unlimited power, with no accountability.

Not to mention, more than half of them look like walking corpses.

      • lateblum says:

True. While I was driving home, I was listening to Nadler on the news this afternoon. I can’t listen to him or any of them any more. I could feel my BP rising. I know my anger is off the charts from all this,. They are bullies and disgusting and frankly, I blame HRC for her “deplorables” comment. She is the one who really started this strong animosity. And because she is such a poor loser. But no matter that, she is a loser.

    • taw46 says:

The left has been like this a long time, they just hid it. I remember when they started the political correctness years ago, I wasn’t comfortable with it. Thank goodness for 2008, brought it out into the open. And of course just complete insanity now.

    • DeniseVB says:

2007 was an eye opener for me. Saw all the candidates at that nutroots thing (I think it was Ykos back then). Obama didn’t impress me at all. Off script he was a lousy “communicator”, Biden had just dropped out that weekend, with less than 1% in the polls, so he was the only one of the declared candidates not there. I was there for Edwards, so I had a blast with fellow supporters and it’s Chicago, what’s not to love ❤ I'm glad I had that experience, the last positive one as a Dem activist, the signs were there, the feminists, the "peace" weirdos, the creeping Dem agenda…… I wish I knew you then, great party weekend at the McCormick Center. I keep watching for another cool political experience in Chicago, but I doubt any conservative org would plan a party there.

      • lateblum says:

How funny… We had so much in common at that time and we’d have had a great time there. We still have so much in common! all the same things, too. It shows that we haven’t changed all that much. We still have the same values and want those in our leaders. It’s too bad it has taken this long for those hateful people in the democrat party to really reveal themselves,. So many are now brainwashed and immune to the truth. And sadly, Chicago is not nearly the safe place it once was. Keep watching for something here, and I will too. ❤

It’s political Groundhog Day for the Dems. Andrew Johnson was impeached for similar reason…”Tenure of Office Act” (1867)…….The right of the President to fire Executive Dept. employees was affirmed by SCOTUS Meyers v. United States (1926)

I missed what the skank from Hawaii did to Barr.

    • DeniseVB says:

Sorry won’t watch that, but there has been many third party sources on my newsfeeds agreeing with you. 😀 WTH has gotten into these Democrats? It’s like we’re being taking over by aliens, oh wait….

      • swanspirit says:

        Watch this instead

      • lyn says:

I watched half of it. Barr barely got to answer near the end. Democrats feed off hate, and that makes them insane.

        • lateblum says:

And that’s why Lindsey Graham stopped the hearings when he did. And that’s why he said what he said. He wasn’t going to give any of them one more instant (which AFAIC went on far too long) to bash the AG. I wonder why they didn’t do that to Holder when he was in actual contempt of congress. Oh, right. They were in contempt, too. They are contemptible.

Because the left can dictate another person’s artistic creation. Aren’t they always going on about how James Bond should be a woman, or a black man, or a gay man. Isn’t that cultural appropriation. Ian Flemming created a very distinct character, but now it is the property of the proggies because they say so. Here’s an idea create your own spy story. I don’t know what it’s going to take to get people to get vaccinated. I just hope it happens before we have dead children.
