Saturday Night Music Thread

The 70’s produced a butt load of good music. In 40 years will anyone still be listening to the crap being made now?

I love “Hide in Your Shell” by Supertramp. It makes me want to close my eyes and let the music carry me away. For obvious reasons I can’t listen to it in the car.

About Myiq2xu

I was born and raised in a different country - America. I don't know what this place is.

It is mind-boggling that Keith Richards is still alive.

How convenient for her story, there was nobody there. No customers or salespersons. Unusual, she said. And she asked him into the dressing room because she was going to have HIM put a flimsy little bodysuit on over his pants? I think her writing fantasies have kicked in for this story. The tax returns are a nice touch, shows the left she is down with the struggle, the resistance.

I’d be curious if we could find out about any trips she took in the fall of 95 or spring of 96. That would narrow the dates. DJT spent a lot of time in CA during that period.

Another thing, how come she remembers the outfit but not the season? What color was the dressing room? What was she shopping for? So many holes in her story. How about music playing in the store?

The outfit concerns me. Is this a deep state set up? Has DJT’s DNA been put on that dress? If so this could be bigger than OJ cue Barry Scheck. 😂

Yeah, still having the dress from 25 years ago hanging on the closet door, not buying it. Did she keep all the clothing from the many other “assaults” she has claimed happen since she was 6 years old? She could buy any vintage dress from that timeframe and say “hey, this is the dress I was wearing!”.

Your last graf is what I think too.

After what leftists did to Justice Kavanaugh, I believe no bitch and I don’t care.

This goes back to the 50s, but what the heck? It’s fun to listen to. 🙂

An excerpt from her book. She seems to dislike men, especially rich ones. She has a long list of “Most Hideous Men of My Life”. So much wrong with the stories in this book.

I may have to break my movies boycott…. 😛

Why? Is there something wrong with the original? Are there no new screenwriters who can come up with a compelling story? The movies have become all about comic book characters, Disney princesses, or remakes of old films. I gave up going to the movie theater a few years ago. Pretty soon there won’t be any “old movies” I want to watch on TV. Oh, and get off my lawn!

Ask them why he was so great in 2008 and it will be all about his being cool, having a crease in his pants, articulate, and the swoon factor (ugh, never got that one). He had no accomplishments in his life.

I noticed that Showboat was playing at 12:00 on TCM and went over there to check it out.

It’s the 1936 version. That’s the wrong one. No Howard Keel.

I still have a crush on Howard. 🙂
