A remake of West Side Story? No way. It will be a flop for sure. Why can’t this younger generation of producers create their own movies and stories, instead of trying to re-do what others have already had success with? Doesn’t require an answer. 🙂

This goes back to the time when she was the San Francisco District Attorney, but she’s now a candidate for president. Voters should know.

The Dems are going to toughen the rules to participate in their next debate. I think they used the last ones as a fundraiser more than anything since all the Dem2020s had to only raise a set amount of money bags to participate. I think the GOP2016s had to have a minimum of 15% in the polls to get to the main debate, then those lower were delegated to the Kids’ Table. That seemed more fair and let the “Kids” shine and move up.

The toughest cuts are typically middle of July through third week of August due to the typical 20 – 40% chance of afternoon showers combined with the heat and long days. Hoping for a drought up there this year.

Dems triggered by the historic NKO meeting and by the G20 w/ Ivanka tells you how much Trump is winning and how much the Dems are loosing. On top of that the Dems are about to nominate someone who as CA AG never saw a black man she didn’t want to incarcerate and who’s great grandparents owned slaves.

    • DandyTIger says:

Funnily Trump’s justice reform as been undoing some of the damage Harris caused. Extra funny.

    • Somebody says:

You’re not kidding the D’s are triggered by NK. I had a hair appointment this morning, first thing when I walked in the door. “Well, what do think of the stunt Trump pulled at the DMZ?” Before I could utter a word stylist immediately said, “I’ll tell you what I think. I’ve never prayed harder for artillery and mortars. I wanted to watch that SOB blown to pieces on live television, world war or not, it would be so worth it.”

I’m pretty sure the look on my face gave him pause, he literally took 2 steps back and proclaimed he was just kidding. I told him his statement was wrong, sick and demented. Agree with his politics or not DJT is POTUS and deserves more respect than that. Also, he needed to get a grip to actually want something like that and to talk about war in such a flippant manner. Should something like that happen to any POTUS war would be waged and in the case of NK they have nukes. I’d heard a minimum 20 million dead in the immediate, millions more in the aftermath. Death and destruction like the world has never seen.

I went on to say none of us have any idea if this meet up at the DMZ will be fruitful and lead to denuclearization, but every American and indeed every human being on the globe should be praying it will.

After that he talked about the weather and asked about my grandkids 😁

He annoys me quite often bringing up politics, but what he said this morning was over the top. Clearly the news coverage triggered him. What sick thoughts to have. I didn’t care for Obama, but I never wanted harm to come to him. The WH breaches during his tenure upset me because like him or not he was POTUS and an attack on our POTUS is an attack on our nation.

OK, OK, true confession…..I worried some nut case might try to harm Obama…..I worried not because I liked him, but because he’d become a martyr. Obama statutes and shrines everywhere 🤢 Admit not the purest of motives, but I honestly, truly never wanted any harm to come to him…….OK, OK, I would have laughed if he smacked himself in the head with a selfie stick, but, but I also laughed over W and the pretzel.

Where do I deposit my $$ for this session 😂😂😂

      • taw46 says:

Good for you. I saw more than one comment like that while the meeting was taking place. They are beyond insane, to wish for the deaths of millions and destruction of cities, just because they hate our President.

        • 49erDweet says:

If nothing else, the differences between their supporter’s reactions to Obama and Trump should make for an interesting case study in each segment’s sanity.

  19. votermom says:

I just read that at the DMZ the Nork guards were armed and outnumbered the Secret Service agents, who were unarmed, 4 to 1

Didn’t know they were ever unarmed

    Also, Trump has brass ballz

    • Somebody says:

I heard that yesterday, Tucker Carlson said that when he phoned in. He said they weren’t supposed to be armed, but came armed anyway and in larger than agreed upon numbers. He said you couldn’t see all of them in the video, but they outnumbered security on the SK side 4 to 1. They had snipers and all kinds of stuff, upset the secret service.

Tucker said when POTUS walked across to NK, the secret service freaked out. He said it was a far more gutsy move by POTUS than most realized. Definitely balls of steel. In fact enhance the sound on the video and you can probably hear his balls clanking as he walked across the demarcation line.

      • taw46 says:

When I watched that early Sunday morning, I will admit to being more than a little nervous. There were no secret service agents with him when he walked into NK, he was alone. Any misstep, planned or accidental, and we would have been plunged into WWIII. He is FEARLESS, that is why the left hates, hates him. On the secret service being unarmed, I find that hard to believe. I don’t think thy would ever agree to that.

        • DeniseVB says:

I wish I watched it live, I would have been nervous too, but I still got chills watching the raw video. My first impression, it was a symbolic moment of trust. Trump alone without being inside his cone of SS protection, then he seemed to ask Kim’s permission to cross the line and allowed Kim to invite him over the line, then walking together into NK. Body language was very friendly with both of them. It was a very nice moment.

I think my President Donald J Trump is playing the leftist media like a fiddle. DMZ meeting might or might not have been impromptu. He still stepped on hostile foreign soil. Snipers or not he took a yuuuge risk. They cannot help themselves. They will never give him credit for anything. He knows it. They look like they would relish NK unleashing a nuclear bomb before accepting Trump is defusing the one of the biggest threats to humanity. The world should be praying for him. The left cannot set aside partisan politics for a second. My call is the deal is done. NK is going to prosper and Trump is giving Kim enough to not look like a fool or that he was beaten. Money will flow in, kim will be a hero. Otto. That is tragic, happened on obama’s watch and I read dozens of articles years ago which blamed him from leftist rags. It is very sad, but the outrage is surreal from people that want to allow an isis wife to return. NK is a nuclear power. There’s a chance. A very big chance that Kim is going to play. Why would the media sabotage that????????????????? We keep being told our allies hate Trump. Boo hoo if that’s the globalist pretty boys and ugly wominz. I bet Japan wants a NK not threatening nuclear war.

    • Constance says:

In a way it must be very freeing that the media and Democrats hate President Trump with such derangement. President Trump can just do whatever he feels is best, the haters are gonna hate, hate, hate regardless. No need to seek their approval which will never come.

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Changes to the way the City of Austin and its police department will handle homeless people go into effect Monday after the city passed an ordinance largely decriminalizing the act of sitting, laying or camping in public places.

Proponents of the rule change have argued that this will help homeless people break the cycle of homelessness. ”

She has two gender fluid persons at school. She knows if she ever treats anyone with anything less than dignity I am taking the iPhone and giving her a flip phone. She would perish before letting go of snap chat. I say clean your room. She says I will. I say better because phone is being shut off for a week if you are not up and at em in 10. Works like a charm. I don’t know how people raised teens without the power to threaten disconnecting them. All i have to do is log on to my account and suspend her line. Easy. I never have to preach about homework. We have a deal she gets A’s I buy the iphone. She gets a B she gets my “crusty” lg. Her choice. Should she struggle we do a tutor. The only thing she’d hate worse than my 150 dollar crap phone would be being seen going to a tutor. No one would know she was going to a tutor but she’d be mortified at the thought that someone might. Girls are strange. She needed feminine protection products. Will not buy them herself. I have too. No idea what I am getting. She stands in another aisle I send her pictures until I get the right one. There is literally almost an entire aisle of that stuff. One package of maxi pads looked like flotation devices. Yuuuge! I was sick to my stomach worrying about how I was going to handle Aunt Flo. The biggest nothing ever.

LOL… Holy SHIT that was bad. LOLOL.. I just made a big assed salad and tried a bite of it. It was like oven boiled pork. She thought it was good. I just told her I was glad she got around to making it – she’d been bemoaning not making it because she was sure I wouldn’t eat it. She was right, but I mean, hell … make something if you want it. About six months ago, one of Al’s friends gave her a free trial of “Blue Apron” delivered to your door meals. I though it was really a stupid idea; I was wrong. For two people it works great. Can order a wide variety of meals, excellent quality products and good sized portions and no food waste. Prep and cooking time about 35-40 minutes. She orders, I cook; cost is ~$12-14 per person and have not had a bad meal. She is currently ordering from Blue Apron and Home Chef.

      • Anthony says:

Yeah, it sounded a little iffy to me, but I would’ve given it a try too. Tonight I’m playing it safe – prosecco and fresh figs. Period.

        • blowme0bama says:

Dude, you can look at that recipe and tell it was going to be a disaster. This is something that she used to cook before we were married and ENJOYS. I am glad she finally believed me when I told her she ought to make it, though. She has mentioned it a half dozen times over the years (5 now) and demurs on the basis that I wouldn’t like it. • John Denney says:

I enjoy cooking, and sometimes I experiment. I’d heard fresh pineapple works as a meat tenderizer, but the canning process destroys the tenderizing enzyme, so I thought I’d try a little fresh pineapple in my homemade BBQ sauce on sirloin steaks, which I had souse vided for a couple hours at 130 degrees.
I cooked down the juices in the bag with some vinegar and brown sugar, a little tomato paste, and some herbs and spices until it was thick. I let it cool, then threw it into a blender with a half inch thick wheel I’d just cut and peeled. I brushed the result thickly onto the steaks, then seared them on a very not charcoal BBQ.
They were falling apart as I plated them. They had turned to absolute mush. Great flavor, but awful, mushy texture. Yuck.

      • blowme0bama says:

She likes mushy meat. I can’t stand the shit. Until recently, the only way she cooked pork chops was to purchase these thing cut little slices of pork chop – maybe 1/2″ thick, slightly brown them in a pan, then boil them in gravy. I mean, you can eat it, but come on. I taught her how to deep fry them and she’s done that three times now. Things are improving, but she’ll never be a really good cook – doesn’t have the attention to detail or desire.

        • DeniseVB says:

Best, easiest Crockpot Pork Chops and gravy, 4 thick cut boneless loin chops, sprinkle with pack of dry ranch dressing mix, add can of cream of mushroom, can of cream of chicken, cook low 8-10 hours. OMG , delish. Serve with lots of mashed potatoes for that gravy!
