Democrats Turn Left

After carefully reviewing the data, the Democrat brain trust has apparently decided that Hillary lost because she was too conservative. So they are yanking the wheel to the left as hard as they can and putting the pedal to the metal. Go big or go home.

My advice to the Democrats is: “Go for it! You can do it!! You got a lotta room!”

    • DandyTIger says:

And the guy who along with Greta got him out, Trump (before he ran for office).

    • swanspirit says:

I remember, when BHO was in office, even then, besides Hillary, there was no one in the D party that remotely resembled a presidential candidate. Obama nurtured no one but himself. Even now, he gives no one in the current crew of ship of fools his support. He is like Narcissus, he cannot look away from his own reflection.

He helps no one that cannot reciprocate, and help him in some fashion.

So here we are, with this menagerie of strange creatures that cannot get out of their way, running for highest office. And their “brain trust” actually resembles their donkey.

When I think about the 2020 election, I imagine mr or ms average American, at the voting booth, casting their vote for someone they can trust in that oval office. There isn’t a single D candidate, that lives up to that trust worthiness. Not one.

    • Somebody says:

Kamala dear, that’s not how our constitution works. POTUS doesn’t rule by fiat. You seem to be continually confused by this, did you not study the constitution in law school dear? Was the university president Willie Brown the 1st? Perhaps we can trace it back to elementary school. Hmmmm, maybe you should sue for being forced to ride a bus and still receiving an inferior education.

You seem to really have confusion when it comes to states rights and individual liberties, hmmmm. Authoritarian much?

If in fact you truly feel our laws need to be changed, well then dear you are currently right where you need to be, get cracking. Besides the anti-lynching bill, hardly an issue except in Jussie’s imagination, what other legislation have you written? How long have you been there? You didn’t address any of these dire issues? No attempt? Hmmm, seems you’re part of the problem NOT the solution. Having you lord over us as queen or dictator is definitely NOT the solution.

I never saw this video clip of this hateful, angry woman, but she knows her base. She seems more bitter than Hillary. Now who’s dividing our country?

“To look around at a crowd that was not reflective of the county”

Jesus fucking Christ… THE COUNTRY you don’t recognize ELECTED TRUMP!

      • Somebody says:

Interesting tidbit that apparently they controlled the crowd, so it was staged? Wouldn’t surprise me, everything else about them is staged.

The crowd that shows up is the crowd. I’ve always assumed the people on the mall at an inauguration were supporters or simply people wanting to witness history. Sure the people up on the stage are invited, but the crowd?

      • DeniseVB says:

I guess she’s not proud of us anymore 😛

I think two terms in the Senate is enough, Marky Mark is too swampy, inside the beltway anyhow. It will be a tough race and the stupid VA GOP will probably let several primary Scott so the Dems can make sure the weakest candidate wins. It works every time !

We get these on a rather regular basis and each time certain people pretend it is the first. Sit between the mountains and ocean and a storm will stall.

Just like the muggy weather for the 4th. It is the 4th is d.c. high probability of hot, humid, hazy weather with severe storms. Mother Nature punches that clock on time almost every year.

I have to go find the list of the 12 worst blizzards recorded in the USA. Four or five hit metro d.c. area . but once again you would think snow is something never seen here. I am sure it is PTs fault somehow for those in 1993 and 1996 and probably 1922 and others. In fact I am sure he is to blame for the one that hit NYC in 1888.

this is what I see in the dem party today. 45% want America to be Venezuela. 35% want it to be Iran. 15% do not care which it is, 5% want a free America
I came to this conclusion watching their actions and the msm

    • DeniseVB says:

I think there’s a silent majority not speaking out who want a free America. I just hope they show up at the polls. High turnouts favor Republicans, and we need that down ticket too.

          • taw46 says:

Me too. It’s bad enough to have to deal with the snowflakes, who wants to semi-drown on the way there.

          • Mt.Laurel says:

We had a board meeting tonight but the rain hit early enough that boss and I just waited it out at home before either of us ventured forth. you know which roads usually get hit the worst with flash flooding. Including I 270 and the beltway. By 1:00 pm most everything was back to normal. Maryland had all the numerous road construction 24/7 projects back in place by afternoon and this evening. Did get a brief break from that annoyance for the 4th.

I have been Caught metro station during flooding and the start of a blizzard. I would not recommend either but my stops had less anxiety raising inclines.

I grew up in NoVa in the 50’s/60’s long before the Global Warming alarmists, I remember all kinds of weather events, and we survived 🙂 Now that we’re retired in the Norfolk area, I remember a cute craftsman house next to the LaFayette River and across the street from the Virginia Zoo. It looked liked heaven. and the perfect downsizing and I can walk to being a volunteer docent. Yep, every year Norfolk floods, the local media shows that house and screams global warming !

    • driguana says:

This is all so fascinating. I was the Planning Director and Director of the Growth Management Department of Santa Fe County from 1995 -2010. Zorro Ranch is in SF County. When I took over, it was already there, purchased from then Governor, Bruce King, apparently in 1993-94. As staff, we were always told it was owned by Victoria’s Secret. There was a very large complex and an airstrip and helicopter landing site, all somewhat visible from Rt 41, although the actual large ranch sits back in the foothills. It wasn’t until several years later that I actually found out that it was owned by Epstein. I never remember any of my staff being involved with building permits or any inspections or, for that matter, any County involvement. It is a very large property and I’m sure lots of hidden secrets are going to emerge from there around this new situation.

It’s also interesting that fashion designer Tom Ford owns a large property just up the road…quite a few Santa Fe and NM politicians are already scrambling…

      • taw46 says:

Wonder if all those hidden secrets will ever see the light of day? He sure had a lot of famous people in his contacts, supposedly they found those when they arrested him the first time. Since he had cameras and recorded everything, where are those tapes? Has someone already seen those? Not saying everyone he had contact with knew what was going on. But there is potential there for enormous scandal and shock if the truth comes out. Which is why I think it won’t.

        • driguana says:

You’re right…lots of “protection” going to swirl around this one. Just got a note that the guy who was sheriff during my time there got election contributions from Epstein. I’m sure they were told to stay far away form Zorro Ranch. Lot of other stories starting to emerge. too.

    • Constance says:

I haven’t heard the media directly mention a link between Trump and Epstein. If SDNY had something they would have leaked it to the media and they would be gloating and blabbing like they always do.

  13. DeniseVB says:

The “Fest” should be shut down for discrimination. Period. It would have been burned down if the reverse was true.

  14. Myiq2xu™ says:

The harridans of The Spew mentioned Epstein just enough to point out that the former prosecutor is now Trump’s Labor Secty. Then they changed the subject b4 Spawn of Satan could bring up Bill Clinton.

Next topic: The black Little Mermaid.

My theory is that they keep changing the race of well known fictional characters to try to piss off white people so they can accuse the white people of being racist.

“How day you suggest that James Bond is white! That’s racist!”

“He’s a BRITISH Secret Service agent. Ian Fleming described 007 as a white man.”

    “Ian Fleming was a racist.”

    • taw46 says:

Seth Abramson sent out a tweetstorm of lies yesterday. He and his brain dead followers said Alex Acosta let Epstein plea to one state charge in order to protect Trump and was rewarded with labor secretary position. Epstein was arrested in 2005 and agreed to the plea in 2007. TWELVE years ago. Trump was so clever to plan that in advance. Also they said Pam Bondi as Florida AG covered it all up at the time. She didn’t become AG until 2011. My head hurt from reading their bs last night.

    • John Denney says:

Is Little Black Sambo still racist?

What if we changed it to Little [some other color] Sambo?

      • Myiq2xu™ says:

LBS was originally a South Asian (Red-Dot Indian) like Mowgli. As I recall the story, LBS outwitted the tigers who wanted to eat him Not sure how that is racist.

      • John Denney says:

I used to enjoy going to Sambo’s Restaurant for pancakes.

I notice the Colonel’s image is not as prominent at KFC anymore.

  15. Democrats going too far to the left will likely have an adverse effect on the party in 2020. The majority of Americans are opposed to slavery reparations, abolishing ICE, decriminalizing illegal border crossings, banning private health insurance, and allowing prisoners to vote. If Democrats were smart, they would pick a pro-border security candidate like Tulsi Gabbard, but I have a feeling they will go with a complete maniac like Elizabeth Warren.

  16. DeniseVB says:

Obviously this guy has never traveled on an Amtrak train, this is not white privilege you racist ahole.

  17. elliesmom says:

My high school friends and I used to greyhound it to NYC and buy half-price day of the show tickets to see Broadway plays. My first experience with a well-known character changing race to make a point was Pearl Bailey playing Dolly. The whole story falls apart when Dolly isn’t a Jewish yenta. Pearl was a talented lady, but the role just wasn’t hers to shine in.

The Little Mermaid is a Hans Christian Andersen story. Her statue is in Copenhagen. Not home to a large black population, and to the best of my knowledge, Denmark has never had a black prince. Disney has already changed the story to make it more palatable to modern parents removing all signs of religion and making the mermaid and the prince live happily ever after. In the original story he dumps the mermaid for a princess. Making the Little Mermaid black just bastardizes the story a little more. At this point what difference does it make?

    • DeniseVB says:

I remember how well the all black remake of Steel Magnolias and the all girl cast of Ghostbusters turned out. People will vote with their wallets, sometimes messing with the classics will backfire. Looking forward Spielberg’s remake of West Side Story. Like a Star is Born, which seemed to be remade for the contemporary times the movie was issued, and all did well at the box office, Spielberg just wants to make it politically correct. Wha?

    • Angie says:

When I first read about the casting I thought it was Halle BERRY being cast as Ariel and my first thought was “she’s too old” Only later did I realize it’s some teen I never hear of named Halle BAILEY.

So I guess I’m an ageist. Lol
