For some strange reason Howie Fine Man deleted this tweet. Maybe he didn’t want anyone to know he was partying with Modo.
Imagine if when the cops in your community got off duty they socialized with a bunch of criminals. And the criminals they partied with hardly ever got arrested, and when they did get busted the cases always got dismissed. If someone called to complain about some criminals throwing a rowdy party in their neighborhood the cops would come out and arrest the complainant and leave the party alone.
Wouldn’t you start to wonder about the honesty and integrity of your police force?
Journalists love to brag about how important their job is because they “hold politicians accountable.” But the truth is they are more likely to help cover-up wrongdoing than to expose it. After all, they wouldn’t want Nancy and Chuck to quit coming to their parties.
Journalists today depend on leaks, and the higher up the source, the better. Nobody would recognize the names “Woodward and Bernstein” if it wasn’t for an Associate Director of the FBI named Mark Felt.
I’m guessing that when Maureen Dowd files her taxes she claims those parties as a business expense. Either that or she gets reimbursed by the NYT and they take the deduction. A little free food and a lot of free booze and Modo has a couple weeks worth of material for her columns. Easy peasy.
This is your Th.O.O.T.
