Doesn’t Trump know he is supposed to apologize and beg forgiveness for speaking the truth?

She’s right. Cummings is a racist, a crook, and a corrupt political hack. Trump is none of those things.

Daily Planet:

‘Morning Joe’ Guest: Trump’s Baltimore Rhetoric Could Lead To ‘Horrible Civil War’

America may be on the verge of a “horrible civil war” because President Donald Trump criticized a crime-ridden major city that has exclusively been run by Democratic mayors for decades, according to a guest on “Morning Joe,” reports Fox News.

Speaking on “Morning Joe,” chief public affairs officer for MoveOn.org, Karine Jean-Pierre, said that Elijah Cummings “is everything Trump is not” and suggested the president attacked him out of fear.

As we all know, MoveOndotorg is a nonpartisan, nonideological news organization devoted to reporting nothing but objective facts. (If you believe that you must be a Democrat.)

“Donald Trump put his hand on the Bible — technically two Bibles — and took the oath of the presidency to be a president for all of us,” Jean-Pierre continued. “And since that day, since that moment, every hour, he seems to just prove that to be wrong. He is not a president for black people. He’s not a president for women. He’s not a president for brown people. He’s not a president for the LGBTQ community. He chooses to just double down and triple down on bigotry and racism.”

This is a verbal excretion of identity politics. Either Trump is a president for all people or he is only a president for some people. If he was a president for black people then he could not be a president for white, brown, and yellow people. If he was a president for women he could not be a president for men. Former Occupant Obama was a president for some people, and look at the mess he got us in.

According to Jean-Pierre, Trump’s rhetoric regarding Baltimore will continue until the 2020 election — which she believes could lead to a civil war.

“I don’t know where Donald Trump wants to take this, but wherever it is, it’s going to be dangerous,” she said. “It could lead to some sort of horrible civil war. He is testing us. He’s testing the democracy. He’s shredding the Constitution. And so, Republicans, the leadership in the Republican Party, need to stand up. You have to speak up. Because if you don’t, you are encouraging this. You are picking Donald Trump, loyalty to Donald Trump, instead of to the country.”

Democrats really want a do-over on the Civil War, don’t they? It didn’t work out so good for them last time. Maybe since they hold both coasts they think they have us surrounded.

Unlike Beavis and Butthead, I have some relevant questions for their guest:

1. In what way are Trump’s tweets racist?
2. What is your definition of racism?
3. What did Trump say in his tweets that was not factually correct?
4. How could Trump’s tweets lead to civil war?
5. In what way is Trump testing democracy?
6. How is Trump “shredding the Constitution?”
7. The U.S. is not currently at war with any other country. The economy is booming. Black employment is at a record high, while black unemployment is at a record low. What is it that you don’t like about Trump’s presidency, the peace or the prosperity?

It is easy to see why the Left is so angry and frustrated. President Trump is not acting like he is supposed to. White people are not allowed to criticize black people. When a white politician criticizes a black person, the Left is supposed to call him a racist. The white politician is then supposed to retract or walk back his statement and apologize for his racial insensitivity. This is the system we have developed over the years, and it works really well. For Democrats.

But Trump is doing it all wrong. He criticized Elijah Cummings, the Left called him a racist, but then instead of retreating and apologizing, Trump doubled down. That’s just not right. He is endangering our whole way of life when he does that. It’s unamerican! /sarc

Don Surber documents how the Baltimore Sun sent reporters into West Baltimore to ask residents if they thought their community was dangerous and rat-infested. They didn’t look at FBI data to see how the violent crime rate in Baltimore compares to other major cities. (Baltimore violent crime rate is one of the very worst.) They didn’t go online to see if there were any news stories documenting a rat infestation. (There are numerous stories, some even published by the Baltimore Sun.)

They didn’t try to refute Trump with facts, they just offered a few opinions from Baltimorons. We have no way of knowing (because they didn’t say) how many people the reporters talked to or whether the opinions they published were representative of the whole community. Even so, the residents admitted they there was at least some truth to what Trump said.

“I was born and raised here and I love my city very much. Yes, we have our issues. There’s a whole lot of fixing that needs to be done, but what place doesn’t need some fixing?”

This here is my personal favorite:

Minor told the reporters, “He’s just ignorant. If it’s so bad here, give more government funding to our city.

Well, Mr. Minor, it is your city, it is Baltimorons committing the vast majority of the violent crimes in your city, and those are your rats eating your trash. How about YOU clean up YOUR mess?

Surber always nails the truth, I love following him. He kept me sane during the 2016 campaign.

The left desperately wants PDJT to stop tweeting, calling him unPresidential or something, but it’s really that the media is forced to cover the tweets as news.

Baltimore is no exception, and here’s probably why, there’s billions of dollars missing and nothing’s been done? Thank you Mr. President for shining a light on that nugget 😀

Now the newsies are going to have to cover that, right?

Is he going to join the dems in running for president in 2020? Or do they just need his vote?

    • DeniseVB says:

May as well, Hillary’s still teasing another run. Remember, Bill wouldn’t declare until October in the ’92 Dem primary. Fortunately for him, he was a “fresh face” that year, Hillary not so much now. 😛

Nobody but First Responders were at Ground Zero or below Canal St. for the first couple of days. The Donald was there as soon as he was allowed to go check on his properties and brought about 200 of his construction crew to help with search and rescue (he paid them, not the taxpayers). Even the Red Cross was held back. After the towers collapsed, other buildings were compromised and they wanted to make sure stuff wouldn’t fall from them and cause more casualties. My daughter was a bike messenger then, as well as others who volunteered to run medical supplies and other stuff from the Canal St. staging area to the Ground Zero area because all the roads were blocked with cars and debris, so bikes were the only way to get through for a few days. The city was shutdown, they had nothing better to do 😦

      • DeniseVB says:

Sidebar: Hillary and Schumer claimed they were “at Ground Zero” on 9-11. They flew over it in a government helicopter we paid for. I don’t think they were physically there until they could get the perfect photo-op in front of smoldering ruins and wearing hard hats 😉

Our local media gave pissant guy more coverage than the President, was so impressed PDJT held his fire, when I’m sure he wanted to yell out “Go home to mommy”. This was not a rally, he gave a wonderful history lesson in his speech, when the guy was done interrupting, Trump smoothly continued on as nothing happened. The guy is a delegate and is in deep doo-doo with the Virginia House. He violated ethics or something. We’ll see what happens, not holding my breath.

While the mass shooting in California is indeed tragic, why no mention of this by the msm?
    Possibly, I missed it.
Now this past weekend in Chicago, and keep in mind this is just one weekend, almost as many casualties as the prior weekend.🤭

So compare the coverage of the recent California mass shooting (it’s national everywhere!) to this past weekend in Chicago:
At least 48 people were shot — eight fatally — in incidents of gun violence within city limits over the weekend.

Shootings escalated as the weekend went on: Nine people were wounded Friday after 5 p.m., 15 were shot Saturday and Sunday saw 24 people shot.
And then wonder why no one in the media seems to care about black people living in a democratic rat and rodent infested shithole.

Every time I think busting Obama’s admin is going painfully slow, I remember that it took over 2 years from the Watergate break in to Nixon’s impeachment. Though he resigned before they could start. Obama’s team was so much worse than Watergate.

  19. Mothy67 says:

Wouldn’t a $15 dollar minimum disproportionately harm the very poor. The disabled and retirees living on SS only. The welfare dependent families? Prices would likely come close to doubling.
Here CNAs start at 15 an hour as it’s a tough job and in order to get someone to do it you pay more. Why would anyone wipe someone’s ass if they can make the same at 7/11. So a CNA gets bumped up to 23. Well then doesn’t a nurse deserve more and on and on. Prices go up and 15 becomes worth as much as 7.50 except for the destitute and very poor who now have considerably less spending power. Why is sanders never grilled on any of this.

      LOVE that movie!
Tonight, I went with a friend to seethe current production of “The Music Man” at the Goodman Theatre in downtown Chicago. My sister reminded me that she and I saw it when we were young girls. It’s what got her interested in live theater and performing. She is 8 years younger than I and still involved in theater.
I’m guessing I didn’t miss much of the debate.

I used to think Boston University was a really good school, but two things have changed my mind. Ocasion-Cortez’s complete lack of understanding of the basics of economics, and a young friend who was recently awarded both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in “environmental policy” on the same day after 4 years in school with only one science class in her entire curriculum. It’s a diploma mill.

Owens is old enough to remember the pre-civil rights era. When he was growing up the Klan was still politically and economically powerful, and they were a very real threat to any black person who stepped out of line.

I’m looking at that chryon and I see they are still trying to say that Trump was referring to black people when he said that Baltimore was “infested.” That is such a crock of shit. He was talking about rats. Baltimore has a major rat infestation. How twisted do you have to be to believe that Trump meant anything else?
