I really don’t understand the Leftist obsession with Chik-fil-A. I’m starting to wonder if the CEO of the restaurant chain is hiring protesters because the more the Left protests the more business Chik-fil-A gets.

    • 1539days says:

Chik-fil-A does not need dirty protesters to sell their chicken. I drive an hour each way just to pick up some.

    • DeniseVB says:

It’s more than likely radical LGBT who depise anyone who supports traditional marriage between man and woman, y’know, breeders. The CEO donates to charities that support Christian beliefs and they’re called “hate groups”. Or as some one called them, the laziest protesters in America 😀

Looking more and more like Brexit will fail. Sad to see the UK fall so far. Soon they will have no sovereignty and will be a permanent state of the EU. Wonder how long before they’re required to speak German?

    • BjornTheBorg says:

I’m in London at the moment, headed out to go drinking with some British co-workers. Everyone is just sick to death of the whole Brexit drama. Boris has done what seemed impossible twelve months ago — he’s made Theresa May look competent and principled.

what the Germans could not do in 2 wars they now do with help from idiots

    • DeniseVB says:

Katie Hopkins is who I listen to about UK politics and she loves her some BoJo. I’ll stay optimistic for now, since the UK media is worse than ours.

I’ve decided, after 10 years, Twitter is a crap shoot. Never been suspended or banned, because I’m boring. I don’t tweet often enough to expect a Big Bang. But, a few words, I get 20-300 likes? Crazy.

    • DandyTIger says:

I’m told one little misstep and I’m banned for life. I’m like, and the downside is…? 🙂 Seriously, twitter is such a sad place. Trumpers win every argument, antiTrumpers just cray and whine. It was funny for a long time, now mostly pathetic. And the tech powers that be think by banning all these voices they’ll magically change minds and win in 2020. Seriously, I think they think that.

I attended a national conference of people interested in uses of technology in education in the 90s when I was still working in the technology field. The idea for a Twitter-like application where people could get information in short bites quickly was put up for discussion. Kind of like a CNN with lots of info, but no substance, but on the web with no credentials required to participate . The group had come from a discussion of the value of Sesame Street. Did it help kids learn enough to compensate for what it was doing to the kids’ attention span? Fast forward to today. All of the things the naysayers said would happen have come true tenfold over. I’ve yet to see or hear anyone put forth a good argument for what value Twitter has added to our lives.

        • DeniseVB says:

          Cheap entertainment for me 😀

        • Constance says:

Twitter has allowed President Trump to go around media gatekeepers 20 times a day. He has changed how the President communicates with voters. He has completely stopped the daily televised briefings that Sarah used to do where reporters had a chance for fame and to push the narrative. Now he talks directly to reporters who are photographed from the back, if at all. Their questions are hard for audiences to hear so it’s easier for Trump to talk about what ever inspires him and the camera is on Trump. Also media never know when these moments for interview might happen which means they have to be constantly ready to lap up whatever information they are allowed to have rather than scheming how to push their narrative. But Twitter doesn’t have much value to a normal person and I think the concept would have died by now if not exploited by Trump.

Just for grins…..If you can pick anyone from Democrat Past, who would you pick for 2020?

I would pick John Edwards. Sidebar: The Dems really f**ked up that ticket. in 2004.

Here’s What the Democrats’ Impeachment Inquiry Will Look Like

With rabid activists breathing down their necks, Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee will finally vote next week on a resolution authorizing an impeachment inquiry.

If anyone has any doubts that Democrats don’t have a clue what they’re doing, recent history tells us a lot.

Is there really no end, to the delusional aspiring to be in the race? Mark Sanford?? Who will be his running mate, Stormy Daniels?

    https://www.westernjournal.com/ap-ex-sc-gov-mark-sanford-challenge-trump-primary/?utm_source=Email&utm_medium=CTBreaking&utm_campaign=wj-breaking&utm_content=conservative-tribune

Mark Sanford, the former South Carolina governor and congressman, has decided to launch a longshot Republican challenge to President Donald Trump, saying Sunday that he aims to put his Appalachian trail travails behind him for good as he tries to navigate a path to the presidency.

“I am here to tell you now that I am going to get in,” Sanford said in an interview on “Fox News Sunday.” ”This is the beginning of a long walk.”

When asked why he was taking on an incumbent who’s popular within the party, Sanford said, “I think we need to have a conversation on what it means to be a Republican. I think that as the Republican Party, we have lost our way.”

AYFKM This from the man who can’t tell the difference between the Appalachian mountains, and South America?
