I think admin at His44 had a good take on NC 9 (before the final vote was in)in

“On the other hand, McCready is underperforming in Mecklenburg. Bishop is overall ahead by 2500 votes. The other bad news for McCready is that in Mecklenburg the Dim urban centers are mostly in while the red rural areas are coming in. It’s tight. PDT pulled off a miracle just getting it this close. Granted PDT won the district by 12% in 2016 but McCready should have won this race. McCready is “cute” and young. McCready has also been campaigning since the last election while the GOP has had to get a new nominee. McCready also got tons of money. Also McCready is a better campaigner than Bishop. The only thing Bishop had going for him was President Trump. That might be enough.”

Interesting the the same commie shitbags who were so horrified by Bolton’s appointment are now pretending to be equally horrified by his dismissal. Hypocrites, The lot of them.

      • lyn says:

{{ 😀 }} Commie shitbags have shit for brains, but I repeat myself.

      • taw46 says:

They have hated Bolton for years. I was laughing at them this morning on MSNBC, he was so respected, blah, blah blah. Hypocrites and liars.

        • Anthony says:

Mika & Joe were particularly dickish about it this morning. Joe was pontificating, all wide eyed like he actually believed himself while Mika kept methodically bobbing her head like she was giving Bolton a hummer. It was ridiculous.

This has always bothered me and still does!

When people tell me that the Pentagon wasn’t hit by a plane – and these conversations still take place – I ask them what happened to Barbara Olson. Where is she? Is she alive? They never have an answer

    • DeniseVB says:

The Pentagon and area is the most secured and monitored building in the world and this is the only camera angle they have? It’s really created a feeding frenzy of tin foilers at Fitton’s tweet. People did keep asking if it’s a missile (which it does look like) where in the hell is da’plane ?

And not one person on that side of the building was looking out a window?

  13. DeniseVB says:

Awwww. So glad we had these two on 9-11.

  16. SHV says:

A rather convoluted and not well expressed thought but the Gen.Flynn/Sydney Powell recent court filings and Sept. 11 posts reinforces in my mind how the corrupt Uni-Party, Bureaucratic State cynically capitalized and dishonored the deaths of ~3000 people with the “Patriot Act”, “Homeland Security”, expanding FISA and the Surveillance State, etc.

I remember at the time, the constant drum beat of “be afraid”, “The Job of Gov’t is to protect you”, (just need to give up a few liberties), etc. and the worst, to my mind was Pres. Bush constantly talking about his most important job was protecting the American People..(I thought at the time, Bullshit, your most important job is to Protect and Defend the Constitution)…At the time there was very little push back, Russ Feingold comes to mind and criticism of Patriot Act was met with “supporting terrorism”, “traitor”, etc……Well, the slow painful exposure of Obama, DOJ, FBI, etc. corruption and the persecution of Gen.Flynn exposes the true threat to the American People and it not “terrorists”.

Anthony, did you see the oval office announcement? All vape except tobacco flavored is being banned, it will all be outlawed by mid to late October, unless and until it goes through FDA approval.

Tobacco flavors remain until May 2020 and must also undergo FDA approval or will be banned at that time.

Trump team’s homeless tour of L.A. sparks suspicions, concerns

It wasn’t the typical tourist bus filled with celebrity-hungry gawkers tooling around Los Angeles this week.

The Trump administration officials who came to town to study homelessness spent Monday and Tuesday meeting with officials from Mayor Eric Garcetti’s office, checking out the Jordan Downs public housing in Watts and touring the long-entrenched epicenter of the crisis, skid row. There was even a trek to Pomona.

“Man on the street” interviews asking people what they think of Beto’s mandatory gun buyback program he would implement if elected.

    My favorite youtube comment:

“I considered selling my weapons “back” to the government, but after a background check and thorough investigation into the buyer, I determined the buyer has a history of violence and is mentally unstable.”

  21. John Denney says:

I’d never heard this story before. Two unarmed F-16s were scrambled from Edwards AFB after the Pentagon had been hit, with orders to destroy United flight 93. The pilots intended to ram it, since there was not enough time to arm the planes.

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/local/f-16-pilot-was-ready-to-give-her-life-on-sept-11/2015/09/06/7c8cddbc-d8ce-11e0-9dca-a4d231dfde50_story.html

    • taw46 says:

This was news to me as well, the “ramming” part. I knew that they had orders to shoot it down if necessary.

      • Myiq2xu™ says:

One of the post-9/11 changes that were made is we now keep fully armed fighter planes ready to scramble at USAF bases around the country. We also have AA missile batteries stationed around Washington DC.

But the most important change was also the cheapest. All passenger jets are now required to have a lockable reinforced door separating the cabin from the cockpit.

    • Somebody says:

John, Edwards AFB is in CA no way they sent them to respond across the country.

There were a lots of jets scrambled that day. I don’t know if all of them were armed, but I assure you there were plenty scrambled that were armed.

We have a defense system with specific bases where jets are scrambled to go intercept planes invading our airspace. Trust me the jets don’t fly out and wave howdy. Usually it’s a drug plane, but sometimes it’s a Russian fighter or every once in awhile some other country’s plane…….do you think we send our jets out defenseless?

There may well have been some unarmed jets sent up that day, but most were armed…..trust me I know.

maybe it is because of the day but I keep thinking of the story of the man without a country. Maybe we should get some cargo ships and put those americans that hate this country and trash it every chance they get on them and never let them set foot on this country again. put them below deck when the American flag is raised and is flying.

I know it is not possible but they really deserve it

  27. Mothy67 says:

I wonder how much vaping ban has to do with taxes. I have been rolling my own for years. Costs me less than a dollar a day. That’s over a 200 a month savings. Was even cheaper before obama put a tax on loose tobacco.
They stood by and did nothing for 20 years as the opioid epidemic raged killing hundreds of thousands if not millions, but less than a dozen fatalities from e-cigs has do nothing congress critters taking action. A pack of smokes likely costs less than a dollar for manufacturer. So 9 bucks a day is tax? And you pay tax on tax. How is that even legal?

    Nailed it!

‘The Democrats, so filled with rage and resentment since Trump won the election, have turned into shriveled up shells of their former selves, spewing their spiteful rage into every open mic. Not one of them has a nice word to say about our country or our future. Each one of them is bleak and depressing, channeling the alarmist prescription for a pre-industrial, almost medieval America. Their grim formula for our future, though, will not be theirs; they will still have their millions, their mansions, their private jets, their armed security guards. This lot of virtue-signaling leftist elites in Congress and their counterparts among the media and entertainment celebrities will never give up an iota of their privileged lives. Their hypocrisy is absolutely stunning. It proves they care not one bit for the country and its people, but only for themselves. They think that because they are angry, they have the right to be cruel, and cruel they are — to Trump, his family, and his supporters. No indictment of their personhood is too crude.’

Gracie (the beagle formally know as Lucy) started to bark last night!. Think it has been 2 months we’ve had her. One time she gave out a tiny yelp when I was opening the door and she raced out hitting her head. That was it. Didn’t make another peep until last night. She had been kept at the vets by herself for months as everyone kept returning her. I guess somehow they got her not to bark — at all. It was creepy. Guess she feels at home.
Liberal thinking. My sister in law is disgusted and heart broken that CRUEL me uses two leashes to walk her. She has a vest, but the little thing sees a bunny and all bets are off. She can pop that thing and squeeze her head out in 2 seconds. I use a much longer collar leash in addition to the vest. She will only be choked if she gets free. According to my sister in law I am some sort of monster. Okay, sure I walk her 4 times a day. How sadistic am I that I take a precaution so she doesn’t get hit by a car or run off. Gee a leash that will never tug on her throat unless there’s a bunny. SIL is an exec with big pharma. She is brainwashed with regards to Trump and bad America. Her mom cleans houses has her whole life. Makes a decent living. She flies to Japan, Prague, Sydney, and more on business. Earns mid six figures. Her dad was a coal miner. Kind of the American dream come true. Yet she sees oppression everywhere. Ugh a dog on a leash almost brings her to tears.

Friend of mine did ballet in college. He once told me the ballerinas look so light and airy floating across the stage, but when one leaps high and you have to catch her, you find out THEY’RE HEAVY!!!! SOLID BONE AND MUSCLE!!!

      • DeniseVB says:

When my daughter was in figure skating, the girls shared ballet camps with the hockey players at our small rink. One of her friends from that era started a Hockey training program in PA, and it’s based on ballet. 🙂

        • John Denney says:

Cool! How’s it working out? Seems that strength, balance, flexibility, and precision movement would be beneficial in any sport.

  44. Mothy67 says:

The whole gender is a social construct bull. Gracie sleeps with my mom. Bella with Shaypup. Not when there is a thunder storm. Both girls have to be with me after the first clap. Instinct. So funny they are so protective of brat. I get attacked when we play fight, but a hint of a storm and they quiver. I get Bell she was a puppy tied to a tree for months. The po-po do this thing where you can surrender an abused pet with no charges if you do not make a stink. Dat’s my baby girl. Such a mess. She has anti anxiety meds which I only use if I can’t be there.
Another thing. I called Shay pup in a store. Some fem nazi gave me a lecture about my language and how I was conditioning her to be treated like a dog for the rest of her life. I should have smiled and said thank you. No I said I use pup because I find it really hard to remember her name. I got some lecture about the patriarchy. We were in Sam’s Club where I only go to stock my freezer for the endless stream of girls that filter through my home. Like I eat mozzarella sticks. Confess they are so yummy in the air fryer. Love that the dims are of late attacking middle America for discount shopping. It’s gross to buy in bulk. Fat mid westerners do that. Eat my shorts libs. I get 60 mozzarella sticks for 12 dollars. Get a yuuuge box of microwavable popcorn for 15. I let crud do movie nights. Sam’s is all about snacks for me. I am not ordering pizza every time a parent wants to go out and not pay for a babysitter.

So old Nads is pushing forward the Impeachment investigation. Sounds like he gets new powers with the procedure so can get at more documents and other things. I actually understand why he’s doing it. They know they have zero chance to beat him in 2020, so they’re willing to gamble making the House and Dems look bad, possibly losing the House, in order to hope beyond hope they find something with their fishing expedition. I don’t think they’ll find anything real, but then again, it’s the Dems and the MSM, they don’t deal with real anyway. May the games begin. 🙂
