Irony

It will soon be Native American Genocide Day (formerly “Columbus Day”) which is the day when Leftists remind the rest of us of all the terrible bad things we did to the Indians Native Americans Indigenous People of Color. And by “we” they mean “us.”

Among the crimes against humanity that “we” are guilty of is robbing the Indians Native Americans Indigenous People of Color of their culture. We made them learn English, made them dress like white people, and forced many of them to convert to Christianity. We only did this, of course, to the ones we didn’t kill. We robbed them of their language, history, religion, and way of life. Shame on us.

But isn’t that exactly what the Left is trying to do to us?

They want to force us to speak their language. They decide what words are forbidden, what words will still be used but with new meanings, and they create new words for us to use. Failure to use the proper language will get you flogged and possibly ruin your life.

Leftists keep tearing down our statues and rewriting history to suit themselves. Leftists want us all to convert to their new “Green” religion. Leftists want to change every aspect of our way of life. They seek to control what we eat, what we do, where we live, how we live, and what we do for fun. Last but not least they despise every aspect of our culture and want to eradicate every last vestige of it.

And what is their justification for what they are trying to do? Basically, they think we are barbarians and ignorant savages who need to be forced to become civilized. Seriously, they are doing it for our own good. If they didn’t rob us of our freedoms we would probably misbehave and vote against our interests.

Isn’t that ironic?

This is the song of Fauxcahontas’people.

    • Myiq2xu™ says:

None of the band members was Native American. Neither was the guy who wrote the song.

Imagine if the song was first released today. The SJW’s would go King Kong apeshit.

  2. Myiq2xu™ says:

Tim McGraw ain’t no Native American either. 100% white boy.

  3. Somebody says:

Brilliant Klown, you are absolutely right. I’d add they want to dictate how we raise our children and keep demanding we turn them over to the state more and more for indoctrination. How long before the left starts advocating to remove children from conservative minded parents to get the “savage” out of them?

  4. DeniseVB says:

One of my favorite exhibits at the AMNH is the very colorful Native American hall which always leaves me with more questions. How did they live here for several hundred years without a written or spoken language? Buffalo herds at one time were a mile wide and 20 miles long, they were hunted by driving them off cliffs, how much waste did that cause, not to mention decimating those herds over time? I wonder how many current Native American tribes want to go back to those pre-Casino days? They should be thanking the white man 😉

    • Somebody says:

That’s rayciss 🤣🤣🤣 If only I could post the gif of the little boy 😜

      • DeniseVB says:

LOL, that’s usually the answer I get from my liberal “scholar” friends, you must believe they were much happier before the white man. Since the American Indian history seems to only start “after” the evil white man arrived, I’m curious about the undocumented evolution they lived in the centuries before because they certainly didn’t seem to evolve.

        • Myiq2xu™ says:

Have you ever been to the Great Plains? There aren’t exactly a lot of cliffs. And the Indians did not have horses. Spook a herd of buffalo when you are on foot and there is no place to hide and you will end up as a grease spot on the grass.

Good luck trying to hunt buffalo with spears or bows and arrows. (Not a lot of suitable wood to make that stuff out on the plains either.)

The reason that there were so many buffalo is there was plenty of food and water and the buffalo has no natural predators except wolves and they can only take down a buffalo if they work as a pack. A lone wolf vs. buffalo is gonna be bad for the wolf. And a herd of buffalo can trample a whole pack of wolves into a dozen grease spots toot sweet.

IIRC the Indians first stole horses from the De Soto expedition. By the 18th Century, there were tens of thousands of wild horses on the plains and the Indians were using horses to hunt buffalo.

          • DeniseVB says:

No, but I’ve been to the American Indian Smithsonian museum. It was empty a few years ago, such a beautiful empty building. Hubby and I trekked up the empty-empty walk way to the top. We stopped at the one level when we heard “The Raccoon Says…” We laughed. Ended up at an at the top asking a curator, what did that raccoon say? We were thrown out for not believing …. I swear, true story 🙂

          • Mt.Laurel says:

I have never seen more a few dozen people in that museum even if there for a special program. They have been pretty good about not bothering me if I just sit in the amphitheater and wait for people. I just explain that visiting relatives wear me out so I bring them by and enjoy a break in the most tranquil spot on the mall and they smile and leave me alone. It helps that said relatives always gush about how I told them they just had to see the place’s uniqueness and taste the great food and and everyone leaves happy. I have heard some of the presentations are “intense”. If they do indeed take their exhibits a bit too seriously that may be why the place is always seems empty.

It’s hard to believe that grizzlies were plains bears too. Havre, MT, where I lived in the 1980s, has Wahkpa Chu’gn–a buffalo jump outside town. Took many pictures there and id stories. Elinor Clack who oversaw the Clack Museum and Wahkpa Chu’gn was knowledgeable about everything.

            http://www.buffalojump.org/

    • John Denney says:

In reading the Journals of Lewis and Clark, it seemed to me the Indians were essentially feral children.
Lewis and Clark (L&C) observed there to be no child discipline whatsoever, they just did as they pleased and the adults didn’t care. One young boy didn’t return to camp one night when a blizzard sprang up suddenly. L&C were very concerned about him, but the natives were not, even though he had left camp shirtless during the warm day. But, next morning the kid came bounding back into camp through the snow, still shirtless, leaving L&C baffled as to how he survived the night.
Adults tended to behave like children in some regards. For instance, some individuals knew L&C had given gifts to some Indians, and so demanded they also be given gifts.

      • Somebody says:

The complaint assumes the President is not in control of foreign policy. That the President is not the chief executive with authority to make decisions. It is written from a viewpoint that the bureaucracy is in control and the President must follow their opinions and decisions including personnel matters such as choice of ambassador.

It was written by someone with an axe to grind that clearly is anti-Trump. Probably by a little snitch that has been spying and reporting to the D’s and/or the lawfare group. Notice the bitching about phone transcript being locked down. Complaint says for political not national security reasons…….haven’t we heard for 2+ years that election interference is a preeminent national security issue? That’s the reason for muh Russia fisa warrants and all the other crap.

Suddenly under Trump, getting to the bottom of the biggest crisis in our country, muh Russia, isn’t national security. What changed? Orange man bad. Complete load of bullshit

  6. Myiq2xu™ says:

    Daily Caller:

CNN, MSNBC and NPR, among the news outlets, edited out the CrowdStrike portion of the transcript, making it seem as though Trump’s focus of the phone call was to have Joe Biden’s son investigated. In fact, the request begins by asking Ukraine to look into meddling in the 2016 election.

“And then he says, quote, ‘I would like you to do us a favor,’” CNN’s Brianna Keilar said on “CNN Right Now” Wednesday. “The president asks Zelensky to dig up dirt on Biden and his son Hunter, who sat on the board of a Ukrainian energy company while his dad was vice president.”

“Quote, ‘There’s a lot of talk about Biden’s son, that Biden stopped the prosecution and a lot of people want to find out about that so whatever you can do with the attorney general would be great,” she said.

What CNN failed to mention was that in between Trump saying, “I would like you to do us a favor,” is over 500 words of conversation, part of which talks about Ukraine looking into election meddling.

MSNBC peddled similar news, with correspondent Katy Tur saying Trump said, “Will you do me a favor and investigate Vice President Biden’s son?”

Nobody in the media seems the least bit curious or outraged that Hunter Biden got such a cushy job with no experience.

BTW: It’s not Katy Tur’s fault she’s stupid. Keith Olberman fucked her brains out.

    • DeniseVB says:

I noticed all the creative editing, Fake News never disappoints. Media malpractice at it’s worse.

    • taw46 says:

What is so frustrating is that their viewers will never read this transcript or the whistleblower’s letter for themselves. They will believe everything the MSM tells them. Same with Trump’s rallies or his interactions with reporters. Won’t watch them. I see this all the time with my relatives and MSNBC.

  7. DeniseVB says:

This is nice if you follow the Royals (kinda on topic since they once tried to take our guns away too 😉 )

    • lateblum says:

The last time I followed “the royals” (which I actually love to do) I saw that Princess Sparkle said to people in S Africa that she is “a woman of color” and that Harry told an 18yo boy that he is often too depressed to get out of bed I the morning because of the state of the world. Sanchez, Macron, Trudeau, Nieto do not look like what you expect people who have the weight of the world on their shoulders.

Klown put into words what I feel like having to live among so many crazy zealots. The D.C. area has always both enabled the true believers who live here to indulge to the max and serves as a beacon to even more crazies to come and stake their claim. Everyone must live entirely by their rules or be banished to a indoctrination camp. But ever since that ride down an elevator they have become more and more unhinged. Having worked in a psych hospital and then had offices on the campus of another the overall atmosphere is eerily similar.

    • mcnorman says:

The thread is to the point. Just like you said, they are unhinged in the worse possible way.

    • taw46 says:

Mt.Laurel, I feel so bad for you, having to work among the zealots. I remember my visits to D.C. years ago, to see friends. It was nothing like it is now.

      • Mt.Laurel says:

No D.C. was always a bit odd but a very workable odd. I really preferred when they were tougher on the federal workers in terms of political crap. I think when they started letting people run their mouths at work and then funding all the NGOs is what really started the steep decline in civility. Once the feds allow something it just snowballs. It started getting bad Clinton’s second term and there was always a lot of talk under the surface about the questionable goings on but Ozone Pres and his gang of thieves and extortionists, pulled out all stops.

My little non profit organization only has three staff and our bookeeper/general admin telecommutes almost exclusively. My boss and I try and make sure someone is in the office four days out of five and work flex schedules between meetings and long commutes. Our work really still needs us to be open to assessing all sides on issues and we try and get that across to our board (not always successfully). Most people have no idea where I (or my boss or corworker) stand on most hot topics. Especially those that do not relate to work (which is most).

Being surrounded by government related agencies who are to be representing all of the various jurisdiction populations spouting off visceral hatred toward a large percentage of said population really grates.

The same goes for volunteering. It used to be you did not have to constantly remind people that they should keep their political views/other extreme positions to themselves. People just understood somethings need to be left on the back burner. Now so many think nothing but correct party thoughts ( be they Feds, fed contractors, NGO workers [paid for by the feds, states and/or the likes of Soros] all day long that they do not seem to be able to detach from the hive. They have decided the party line should be proclaimed 365/24/7 to and by everyone as their duty to the New Order.

ED is currently in a bear cookie jar, but my kids are afraid using that as a centerpiece will gross some people out so I’ll just leave it at his keyboard in his cave with his Trump Bear. It’s where he’d try to hide if he was still alive and at the party. 🙂

        • elliesmom says:

Crash hasn’t learned any songs in Cub Scouts yet. At least she tells me they don’t sing. But I teach her Girl Scout songs all the time. Some are funny like the Combination Underwear song, but this is her favorite pretty one. We were sitting on the beach after dark, and she noticed the boats had a red light on one side and a green one on the other. I explained to her it was so we could tell which direction the boat was pointing in when it’s too dark to see the boat. Then she learned “starboard” and “port” and this song. Now she sings it a lot like she’s singing herself a lullaby.

        • Mt.Laurel says:

OMG It is a good thing I am working at home today. My laughing scared the cats. I have not heard that in years but just seeing the name set off the chorus in my head. . . and Barnacle Bill the Sailor. I heard it first at family night at boy scout camp. evidently little sisters were not all that common. well I was the first. not sure if I was the last – at least before girl and boy scouts became morphed. It was just dads and younger brothers. Mom saw as a chance to have a night off thinking the really meant “family” and decided Dad could take me. He never told her about most of what I saw and heard on those jaunts. It did get us a deluxe cabin to ourselves a tiny bath and electricity.
