We Will Soon Find Out If We Still Have Justice In This Country

Word is that the Durham investigation into the origins of the Russian collusion hoax is now a criminal investigation. If true, this could be huge.

The Schitty Impeachment Posse is going nowhere at high speed. One day we are hearing about a witness that is going to sink Trump. The next day we find out that the witness was not credible and never said the things Schitty leaked that he said.

Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s report is literally due any day now and should do some damage to the Deep State plotters as well.

Things are looking so bright I gotta throw shade on it all just to keep myself from getting my hopes up. We’ve seen this all before.

Since the end of Watergate, there have been quite a few scandals In Watergate there were 69 indictments and 48 people were found guilty or pled guilty. In Iran-Contra, there were 14 indictments and 11 convictions, but two of the convictions were overturned on appeal.

More recently the pattern has been investigations that drag on and on and ultimately have little to show for all the time, effort and expense. People are not even charged with obstruction of justice when they admit to destroying evidence.

If there is still justice in America, dozens of people should be going to prison. One of them is named Barack Obama. But that’s not gonna happen. So I set my expectations low. I’ll settle for Brennan and Clapper going to prison for 10 years apiece.

But I ain’t holding my breath.

I’d settle for only Brennan. I might even send him soap on a rope, if I’m feeling compassionate

    • Angie says:

      Lol I want Comey.
Brennan & Clapper can handle themselves in prison. Comey will be Big Bubba’s bitch the minute he walks in there — and I really want that for him.

  2. mcnorman says:

Anthony, I make it in my kitchen lab. Won’t scrimp on the rope either. I’ll settle for Barry being sent back to Kenya.

“Democracy Dies in Fake News”. NYT and WaPo have been insufferable since 2008. Myiq was right in his earlier post, that those high school and college kids from 2008 all grew up to be SJW experts and journalists. Obama built that. I hope he’s nailed in the criminal investigation. A girl can dream. 😀

    I feel a little cuckoo today. 🙂

I saw the movie that dance came from on TCM recently. Make Hollywood 1932 again !

      • lateblum says:

        I loooove Laurel and Hardy!
About TCM… Comcast has now dropped TCM from most of their “plans” here, and people are furious. On my own Nextdoor list, there have been comment after comment of people canceling their cable after/ because of it. I’ve invested in another OTA antenna, and I am exploring what I can get that will provide what I want – news, movies, etc.
        I know, First World problem…
Thanks for the L&H dance. 💕

        • DeniseVB says:

Now, if you were on Facecrook, you could be following the TCM fan page, it’s exploded with the Comcast outrage, but the admin keeps deleting them as off topic, lol. VerizonFios has lumped TCM with the sports package (aka Top Tier) for years, it’s how I found it. Worth every damn bit of the $10/monthly extra we pay for. If I outlive my sportsnut dh, I will still keep it 😀

          • lateblum says:

If it has a public page, maybe I could peek in. What is the FB name? I’ll go look.😉

          • DeniseVB says:

More of the non-poltical FB pages and groups are going private, I think TCM is one of them ? Tell ya’ what, register on FB, you don’t have to use your real name, but I do because it reminds me not to be political on my home page. Send me your *username* to @Broadway1697dot..aol…dot com. I’ll add you to the clubhouse, we’ll work you through the madness that is FB.

  7. Somebody says:

I’d prefer a firing squad for Brennan. I’ll let Clapper slide with prison because I don’t think he’s smart enough to have been a coup plotter. I definitely want Strokz, McCabe, Comey and Sally Yates wearing orange. Hillary’s little minions like Sid Blumenthal need to face some jail time, they’re into this deep, don’t forget Chalupa and Sam Powers. I doubt Weissman will pay for all the damage he’s done, I’ll settle for disgraced and disbarred and pray for a karma event.

Last but not least, that little weasel Rod Rosenstein, he’ll skate as will the ghost of John McStain and the crooks in both parties in Congress that were in on this, but I’ll pray they are at least implicated, shamed, disgraced and get a karma visit of their own.

My expectations may be a little high, but a girl can dream.

She represents Oakland. Democrats, and especially black Democrats, can run for reelection while awaiting sentencing on corruption charges and still win by a landslide. Two black Democrats from Chicago (Mel Reynolds, Jesse Jackson Jr.) won reelection while under investigation. Both won easily but had to resign before they left for prison.

They both occupied the same seat. Jackson replaced Reynolds.

Rush can’t read very well. “Normal Senate business” (i.e., other legislation and committee meetings) are suspended during an impeachment trial (although the trial may be temporarily adjourned to allow such business to proceed). The rules don’t say one word about campaigning, which is not “Senate business” (although it’s obviously the primary occupation of most Senators).

  14. Mothy67 says:

I mentioned this a tread or two ago. One of the boys called my kid Tits. The principal tried to make it a #MeToo moment. It was the end of the world. The boy was going to blocked from all athletics and academics because he said tits. They were going to crucify him to make some strange point. They barked up the wrong tree. Taylon has been sleeping on porch for a decade. We do a yuuge Halloween bash every year.
I had to call on my inner Anthony. You never want to resort to your inner Anthony. I had to tell the principal to sit down and shut the fuck up or I was going to rip out his esophagus with my teeth and then curb stomp his head. I gave him very clear instructions he was never to speak for my kid again. A boy who is one of her best friends called her tits. It was about a math competition at CMU. He is a prodigy. He said he would only go if tits went. You would not believe the drama. One teacher was in tears. No girl should ever have to feel this way. I was like have any of you people ever met Shayla or Taylon? They are great friends. Tay is a math genius. He is only about 5 foot. He wants to be a quarterback. He’s Vietnamese. Lives above a nail salon. I yell every night get off what ever stupid game you are playing. Tay says goodnight Uncle Tim. No one calls me uncle. I tell Tay to please go far far away. The school wanted to label him as a sex offender and end his sports. Shay is no weeping willow. She knows she has a D cup. it will be a part of her life. Her swimsuit for next year will run a thousand.

    • elliesmom says:

First of all, a D-cup bathing suit is easy to find, and doesn’t have to cost you over $75. The average American woman wears a D-cup today. Try Macy’s, Victoria Secret, or LL Bean depending on her fashion sense. 😉 When dealing with two kids who obviously like and respect each other, all bets are off for the appropriateness of nicknames. What does she call him? lol

      • Miranda says:

I’m a D and the LLbean tanksuits hold up very well, even jumping around in water aerobics :). Now, I did almost have a wardrobe malfunction after buying something cheap at Chadwick’s but that’s a lesson learned.

        • elliesmom says:

Living on a lake I wear a bathing suit a lot in the summer. I like the tankini style because I can wear different style bottoms- briefs, boy shorts, or skirt depending on what else I’m doing but be able to jump in the water without changing. I still have the full coverage of a tanksuit. LL Bean has some nice options for that, too. .

          • Somebody says:

I wear tankinis too. You can get the neckline low or high cut. I have a couple that look like halter tops, I wear them with board shorts to theme parks in the summer so I can splash with the kids and cool off. Florida theme parks have water play areas. I wear a D to double D, never had a problem finding a suit.

      • Mothy67 says:

I sill be spending whatever the coach says to buy. She will be doing a lot more competitive stuff next year. I think everything costs a thousand dollars. It sure feels that way. 50 bucks for crocs they are glorified flip flops. Plastic shite. I say no no no no no i will never buy you Uggs then I turn around and say what size.
I asked her what she calls Taylon after I read your reply. She said everyone calls Tay tits now. She said he will always be tits. The crying teacher is not happy. It was supposed to be a boy nailed to a cross. End of the world stuff. Shay did not care at all. I did not even know about it until the school called. I got this twenty minute phone message about zero tolerance. I had no idea what it was about. I love my brat. She is tough and at times very sarcastic. She would never go to school authorities about a name. You can look at my Capital One card. Everything is a thousand dollars. She has no issue buying very expensive bras that accentuate. I think she looks like Cheryl Ladd. She has been dancing since she was 3. She is much more self conscious about her caboose than being top heavy.
The same woman teacher who wanted to tar and feather Taylon for being a 14 year old boy also reported me to Dolores Umbrage for not knowing Shay’s name. Not really. I call Shay whatever name pops in my head. I have for some dumb reason always done it. I have used thousands of names. I also call her brat, pup, monster. The nebby teacher (Pittsburgh word for not minding your own business) thinks I invalidate Shayla by calling her Colleen. Maybe I should not knock on her door and say are you awake Endora. I have told Shay since forever that i just can’t recall her name. It is one of our jokes. She was so miniscule. Her dad was going to have to leave her at daycare. I ran. I was not going to let her sit alone. I don’t drive there was no time for the bus. I got to the school. I then carried her all the way home. Miles. She has never been alone. I aint playing that game. Not with my kid who is not my kid. Yeah I call Shay Agnes. I am gay afterall. I call her Samantha, Tabitha, Aunt Clara, when I am mad I call her Doctor Bombay. Shayla is very funny. We have a unique life. the crazy teacher felt I was invalidating Shayla’s personhood. I don’t know what that means. How do you invalidate personhood? I was like you know this is all from Bewitched.

        • Myiq2xu™ says:

If she’s a D cup then every boy in school knows that she’s got boobs. The other girls know too. She can’t hide D cups, so she better make her peace with what she has. The real world does not validate parking or your feelings.

We don’t do our kids any favors by being overprotective. That’s how you raise snowflakes, and snowflakes melt as soon as things start to heat up. You can’t order toughness from Amazon. They don’t stock it at Walmart either.

You gotta let kids deal with adversity themselves. Your job as a parent or teacher to keep an eye out to make sure things don’t get out of hand. But always keep in mind that you didn’t see everything.

My sweet angelic daughter used to pick fights with her older brothers then shut the hell up as soon as I entered the room. The boys would end up in trouble, not because they were picking on their sister, but because they would not cease and desist after I told them to stop. (I agree with Bill Cosby – parents don’t care about justice, they just want quiet.)

They never picked on their sister. Not because they’re good boys, but because she’s evil. Nobody picks on evil. Not more than once, anyway.

      • Constance says:

I wouldn’t recommend Victoria’s Secret. They didn’t sell 32 D last time I took my daughter there and they only sell their own brand. You need a store with many brands. Go to a swimwear only store, I go to Sylvia’s Swimwear. None of the department stores sell real active women’s swimwear they sell tanning suits. My daughter was a swimmer and water polo player in High School too.

    • Anthony says:

Inner Anthony??!! And here I thought I was so sweet and measured. Even tempered, kind and compassionate. Unless you have it coming… THEN, I’m from fucking hell.

    • lateblum says:

What everyone else said… And, If you have a shopping mall with “name brand discount” stores nearby, see if they have a “Hanes” or “Bali”or “Jockey” store. Those stores also carry other brands of bras and if they have adult (rather than teenage) sales people, you can also get proper fittings there. I know when I needed a fitting last year, I found them to be helpful.

    • John Denney says:

Heh. It’s another example of David Mamet’s observation in his book, “The Secret Knowledge”, that to be a liberal you have to pretend you don’t know a lot of things.

The principal was aghast that Tay was not pretending he didn’t know Shay wears D cups.

Saying the obvious is so unPC.

Reps. Schiff/Nadler in panic over Barr/Durham turning origins of Russia probe investigation into criminal investigation

Reps. Jerrold Nadler and Adam B. Schiff late Thursday condemned the Justice Department for transforming its Russian probe review into a criminal investigation. In a joint statement, Mr. Nadler of New York and Mr. Schiff of California, both Democrats and chairmen of the Judicial Committee and Intelligence Committee respectively, said the Justice Department has become a “vehicle for President Trump’s political retribution.”
