The Caliph is Dead

Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi

Our military seems to have knocked off another terrorist leader. Democrats are calling it a “wag the dog” moment.

The first of the three “Rightly-Guided Caliphs” who took over after Muhammad died was Abu Bakr, Muhammad’s father-in-law. He lasted two years before falling ill and dying rather suddenly. The next two guys were assassinated. Every so often someone claims to be the new Caliph, which is the ruler of all Muslims. Most of them don’t last long.

This is an open thread. Trump should be making an announcement as this posts.

About Dr. Myiq2xu

Unless President Donald J. Trump pulls a hat out of a rabbit real soon, on 1/21/21 I will wake up in a socialist banana republic.

The last line of the official statement –“He died like a dog and the world is a better place” is the best. My mom said: “He calls the white, white and the black, black.”

SNL is dead too, from the looks of it. Last night they did a skit mocking Trump rallies, where, I am told, because I haven’t watched yet, an ISIS terrorist thanks President Trump for making ISIS great again. In comedy, timing is everything, and SNL’ s couldn’t be worse.

WoW ! I love my President. Great announcement, sir.

More proof the liberals destroy everything they touch, they’ve ruined the Nationals for me. Go Astros !

A few days ago PDJT said he was going to attend today’s game, but arrive late to allow the fans to get there without his motorcade mucking up the commute for them. So there was never a chance he’d be throwing out the first pitch. Media found out, the Chef guy who Trump sued for contract breach, pulling his restaurant out of the new Trump DC, because he didn’t like how PDJT talked about immigrants, or something, will be throwing out the first pitch. Media: Nationals chooses “Trump hater over Trump to throw out the first pitch in Game 5”. It’s fake news, but that’s what redsteeze was riffing on and that visual was delicious. 😀

        • Constance says:

I didn’t even know who was playing in the World Series. So who cares what goes on there.

        • Mt.Laurel says:

I was prepared to root for who ever played the nationals. They have been squealing pigs over this series in the swamp. The local msm, the swamp creatures and the nationals were mad that PT announced he would go the fifth game before it was clear they would need a fifth game. They were all so sure after the first two wins that the nationals would take it in four straight that they had to go back and find a way to poke the president because they do not want him there, did not want him to toss the first pitch, and are pissed the Astros caused their dream to go off course. Go Houston !

  5. elliesmom says:

It’s a rainy Sunday morning here in the woods of Rho D’Island, It was a beautiful fall day yesterday. I looked at the leaves all over both porches and covering the driveway, but instead of doing something about them, I unleashed Ellie and took her for a long walk in the woods. I woke up about 4 am to the sound of rain on the roof. The leaves are still on the porches and the driveway, but now there are a lot more of them. I’m glad I didn’t waste my time cleaning them up yesterday. That’s kind of how I feel about killing off terrorists. Even when we kill or capture them, it just rains down more of them.

That tweet didn’t age well 😛 The lefties are already shredding the speech, it may be an impeachable offense not notifying the House Intelligence Committee about he raid. LOL.

Oh, I just can’t keep track of all the assplodey heads on twitter right now.

      • lyn says:

I love the smell of assplodey heads in the morning.

Briefing Congress is a courtesy not a requirement. I don’t recall that Obama briefed Congress prior to Bin Laden raid.

        • DeniseVB says:

I don’t think Obama was even briefed. 😛 Remember the famous Situation Room photo of BO sitting in wearing his golf clothes and Hillary yawning? They dragged his sorry ass off the golf course for a photo op. LOL

        • Mt.Laurel says:

And as I recall, Barry’s handlers through his substitute mommy and BFF Joe B, ooopps i mean advisory staff, double ooooopsI mean through totally coincidental mistake in Hillary’s state department or somewhere, leaked details on the special forces involved.

        President Trump is the C-i-C.
If President Trump had to get permission to retaliate after the Pearl Harbor attack and these worthless f’ks didn’t immediately surrender, they’d still be debating declaring war and blaming President Trump.
        🇺🇸MMXX🇺🇸

      • lateblum says:

It’s amazing to see all those ppl who said “Yay!!! We assassinated Osama!!” now saying how impeachable an offense it is to have killed al-Baghdadi. Because Trump didn’t tell Schiff.

      • lateblum says:

And as much a I loathed bronco bama, THAT is how much I loathe Schiff.

      • Constance says:

I turned on MSNBC for a few minutes. Their faces look like they sucked lemons and they still keep talking about impeachment and how Trump shouldn’t have dissed Nancy and Shiff because they are going to impeach him so Trump should walk on eggshells around them. We dipshits Progressives are going to impeach Trump regardless of what he does so why not kick sand in their faces. They are really pissed that he didn’t inform Democrats because of fears of leaks.

    • Cisco says:

      President Trump had a plan.
Bring back the pieces in wheelbarrows

Did Al-Baghdadi go out in a blaze of gunfire?
Rappelling from a ceiling, an AK snarling on full-auto in one hand and tossing frag’s with his other and a K-Bar clenched between his teeth?
(I think I read to many Sgt. Rock comics when I was a kid)
No, punk-ass blew himself up when cornered like a rat.

      • Mt.Laurel says:

        Yep.
Although I do not understand this type of behavior as such an event. If someone I personally dislike attends a function, say the current Virginia governor or Marion Barry or well in swampland this happens A LOT, I simply either do a very very lukewarm arm movement – not really even a clap but good enough to keep people from asking one about it or find something absolutely fascinating nearby that I must check out and ooooppps missed the whole intro of person and just make non comment small talk when I refocus. No one even notices. Now a favorite that I have seen is the lost contact lens. That keeps a whole group of people nearby from making fools of themselves by showing they have the manners of a three year olds.

      • DeniseVB says:

That’s what we pay the feds (FBI, ICE, etc) to do, support local police and add security when the local LEO’s become overwhelmed or bogged down. These people sure aren’t putting their citizens’ safety first. Stay safe Chicago !

        • elliesmom says:

We moved to the Chicago burbs shortly before Daley died, and most of the time we were there, Bilandic was mayor. From fighting with the butchers’ union over selling meat in grocery stores after 6 pm (you already couldn’t buy meat on Sundays anywhere in Cook County), to Puerto Rican riots, and snow emergencies he couldn’t handle, he was everything wrong with machine politics. Where Daley at least could make the city function, Bilandic was incompetent at both running the machine and blocking it.

Elliesdad went to work for Donald Rumsfeld, and when we arrived to look for a place to live, we were given a list of “safe neighborhoods”. Back home in Boston the folks in Southie were throwing rocks at school buses so we had a pretty good idea of what “safe” meant, but ED’s new coworkers assured him that while he was absolutely right about where the lines had been drawn, “safe” also meant physically safe. We ended up in the northwest burbs with ED working in Skokie. It was during the battle the Nazis fought to march through town. The march never happened in Skokie, but they did march in Chicago.

My personal memories of living there are filled with wonderful neighbors, trips to Navy Pier and the Brookfield Zoo, and time away from family that gave us the opportunity to grow up and form a tight little family of our own. But it also left me with a rather jaded view of Democrat politics. My dad was the town chairman of the Democrat Party, and history says I should have grown up a solid Dem. But living in Cook County turned me into an Independent voter for the next 45 years. The current crop of Democrats might make me a Republican yet. Go, Astros!

          • DeniseVB says:

As a Marine dependent brat and spouse, I’ve always lived on one of the coasts. While I worked for an IL14 (Joliet?)rep on Capitol Hill as an an old teen, 19, got bored, then went back to California “to beach blanket bingo surf with Annette and Frankie”

I finally got to visit Chicago in ’91, when my daughter was 11 and our podunk ice rink signed up for ISIA Nationals. Any skater with a pulse and a check could enter. I was, okay the kid has her Waltz Jump, never been to Chicago, and doubt I could get a hotel room cheaper…..Let’s do Chicago!

Most parents drove the 22 hours from Norfolk, the rest of us took the Norfolk-Chicago 24 hour train trip, and what a trip that was. The event was spread over 5 rinks in the Chicago area, we stayed in Skokie with a car rental. No events on the last day, so we grabbed the EL into downtown, passing miles and miles of backed up traffic. Spent a cool day in ChiTown, Navy Pier of course!

I returned in 2007 for the YK07 Nitwork Nation at the McCormick Center. I did the rest of Chicago from there. 😀 Moral of the story: I do use “conference” rates to grab the cheapest hotel rooms in the best parts of the blue cities. Nobody ever misses you #Winning !

Clinton ally Blumenthal sought to stop publication of Russia probe book: source

Clinton family associate Sidney Blumenthal has made legal threats to the publisher of a forthcoming book featuring allegations against Democrats in connection with the Russia investigation in an attempt to stop publication, Fox News has learned.

A source familiar with the matter told Fox News that Blumenthal claimed the book – “The Plot Against the President: The True Story of How Congressman Devin Nunes Uncovered the Biggest Political Scandal in U.S. History,” by Lee Smith – was defamatory.
