I have nothing else. Do you? 😉

Nada, nada, limonada. Quiet day and the Dems are imploding. All’s well!!!!

      • Cisco says:

Just finished watching the PBR World Championship Finial.
Kid named Lockwood won, second time since 2017. He’s like 22 years old.
        Champion Bull, Smooth Operator.
Runners up imo, Capone, 25 buck offs in a row, never been fully ridden.
Another bull I can’t remember name but 23 buck offs.
Two things I learned, most of these cowboys walk with a limp and the bulls give to them because they don’t want anybody on their back.
One bull bucked so hard that when his hooves hit the ground dust/dirt flew off him. So did the rider.

        • Myiq2xu™ says:

My Okiefied half-sister was married to a professional bill rider. She stayed home with the baby while he competed as part of a team.

He got so many concussions that he forgot he was married. Now he is my ex-BIL.

He is retired now, so my half-sis no longer feels the need to watch bull riding competitions and root for the bull to stomp him.

    • 49erDweet says:

The whole rodeo circuit thingy is replete with busted relationships, broken bones and bad limps. It’s the way they live.

    • Constance says:

It turns out our Socialist city council member, Sawant, won after all! Imagine that! She came back from an 8% deficit after they continued counting the ballots for the next 4 days. Yeah.

  2. DandyTIger says:

I got nuttin’. Cleaning up the home office and not watching politics.

  3. lyn says:

Watched “The Christmas Chronicles.” Cute film.

    • lateblum says:

Yes! I think it’s a sweet and funny and smart movie. I watched it a couple times last year.
I just got home a little bit ago, and noticed that Christmas lights/decorations are going up all over the area. It feels early, but then, dd#1’s birthday is Wednesday, so I guess Thanksgiving will be here in no time. How far away can Christmas be?

      • lyn says:

        Christmas is too close. LOL.

      • Constance says:

I use my “Christmas” lights from fall equinox to spring equinox. Now that I’m old I don’t give a rats ass what the neighbors think of it, I think it’s cheerful and pretty.

        • lateblum says:

I think so, too. I love to see the lights. I noticed the lights yesterday, because about 4yrs ago, the lights – even in the traditionally more affluent neighborhoods – were minimal. Since PDJT, the lights have returned. Even with Halloween there were seasonal lights/decorations appearing.
Yet these are the very people who are making the most noise about and against him.
I hate always bringing politics into everything. But in this town, politics and political speech, are prominent. The self-awareness not so much.

        • elliesmom says:

We don’t have any street lights on my street so it gets pretty dark here at night. I have white twinkle lights in all of my bushes and on two small trees in my front yard. They’re solar powered and come on at dark every night. How long they stay on at night depends on how much sun we’ve had that day. I leave them up all year, and I never turn the switch off. In the summer there’s a set that fit into the patio umbrella on the front porch. When I have summer guests at night, they always comment on my “fairyland”. Since fairies aren’t seasonal, I offer no apology. The upside is I’m never hanging Christmas lights in below zero weather. I could turn the switch off when Christmas is over, but why? It’s pretty.

Today’s schedule for POTUS and FLOTUS.

May their Guardian Angels be with them.

    • DeniseVB says:

Such a stark difference between him and Obama. Obama could care less about anyone but himself and the Dems try to project that on PDJT. Nothing could be further from the truth.

  7. Dora says:

It really is hard to believe.

  8. Dora says:

They should have their eyes taped shut to show them how it feels.

  9. Dora says:

He is 75 years old now, so I knew this was coming. I’ve not always been happy with Congressman King, but I don’t want him to leave. For as long as I’ve been living in this house, I’ve never had a democrat representative.

This is still a republican area, but Mr. King’s congressional district has recently been expanded to include other areas and make it more “diverse”. That horrible word again. I truly dread what’s coming.

    • DeniseVB says:

Are you in the same district as the Baldwins? Gasp, if Alec tries to run, maybe one of the good brothers will. 🙂

      • Dora says:

Also the Steinfelds. Whenever I go to my favorite Ice Cream Parlor (Krishes) I have to look at pictures on the wall of a young, smiling Alec Baldwin and one of Jerry Steinfeld. Two famous residents of Massapequa. UGH.

They both live further east on Long Island now. Where the money is. I don’t think either of them would be eligible to run from this district. Unless they kept their old addresses. You never know.

        • DeniseVB says:

LOL, remember them Dem rules. They can do whatever they want. That’s how you got Hillary from Chicago and Arkansas as your Senator 😀 They’re also gunning for all the red districts in 2020 so if PDJT wins his re-election he’ll have an even more combative Congress. Hope Chelsea Clinton doesn’t decide to move to your district 😛

          • elliesmom says:

I bet Chelsea takes on Kristin Gillibrand. The left is mad at her over Al Franken, and it’s legitimately where Chelsea lives.

          • Mothy67 says:

I hope chels runs for gillabrands seat and LOSES. Maybe a landslide rethug win would send them all to the woods for good. send them all to the woids to

In honor of our veterans today, I donated $10 to this campaign 😀 He made his goal in an hour yesterday, everything over that is going to Trump2020. Yeah, I know, condoning violence and stuff, but the Dems have changed the rules with spitting, harrassing and clonking actual humans. Here’s to them too !

    https://www.gofundme.com/f/restitutions-for-baby-trump-stabber

    • Constance says:

Thanks for posting that. I donated just now. I wish I could have accomplished this political act myself!

      • DeniseVB says:

I think it’s great ! A lot of lefties are trying to shut it down, I think that’s why it exploded. Uhm, forgetting Christine Ford Blasey made a million over her false testimony against Kavanugh? Under Oath?

    • lateblum says:

I just went to GFM to contribute and saw this update . . .

      UPDATE TODAY:TODAYby Hoyt Hutchinson, Organizer
“We have been reported by the sympathizers. Apparently we didn’t read the fine print. Gofundme is not going to allow these generous donations to help Hoyt. They will soon likely refund all your support. Apologize for the inconvenience folks. Thanks for the kind words, prayer, and financial support. Reach out to Hoyt on Facebook we love hearing from fellow patriots #Trump2020”

I hope that any monies going to help those democrats who choose to desecrate or cause harm to conservatives and conservativeprojects will be similarly treated…

    • lyn says:

      Donations are still being accepted.

  13. DandyTIger says:

    • DeniseVB says:

Did you see where Elizabeth Warren has a “plan” to cut veteran suicides in half “during her first term” ? Why not share that plan now? That would be nice 😛

      • elliesmom says:

If you have a plan that will save lives, and you refuse to share it unless and until we elect you to something, whatever it is, then I don’t believe you. The best way to get people behind you is to solve an important problem for the no strings attached.

        • DeniseVB says:

I just saw a Kaitlin Bennett video covering a Bernie rally where all he does is call PDJT names to a cheering crowd. Just meanie, poopy head type names including all the ‘ist words AND PEDOPHILE too. Really, that’s all he has? Those poor supporters have no clue how they’re being manipulated. He could care less about them, like Obama, I’m just here for your money and your vote. Bleagghhh.

          • Somebody says:

He called POTUS a pedophile? Based on what? That’s truly beyond the pale and in fact if McConnell had balls the size of peas he’d censure that commie bastard.

      • Mt.Laurel says:

My guess would be a combination of cutting back on medical care and euthanasia by calling it palliative care.

These assholes forget the farm financial crisis in the 1980s.

  14. Dora says:

How handsome he was. Alright, alright, he still is. 🙂

    • DeniseVB says:

GMTA. I just saw this on Juanita Broaddrick’s twitter, she always makes me smile. Here’s another one……

      • Somebody says:

I propose we muzzle all the D’s in the senate and require them to sit perfectly still. If they move they will be flogged. It’s just a hunch, but I think we could find some volunteers to do the flogging 😉

On a serious note, if the R’s play nice we’re screwed. Senate rules should mirror the house. If Lindsey tries to play nice and give the D’s a level playing field or approve their witnesses then he should be tarred and feathered, same for McConnell and Roberts if he tries to interject. Nope they set the rules they wanted and by God two can play that game. I don’t want to hear “We’re better than that”, nope I just want a metric shit ton of toxic masculinity bulldozing this farce into the dustbin of history.

    • Dora says:

      I enjoy reading Juanita’s tweets too. 🙂

I haven’t been feeling well for the past couple of days and I couldn’t sleep much last night. I was finally feeling sleepy as the sun was coming up so I left Mom a note reminding her it was a holiday and she didn’t have any appointments. Then I told her to let me sleep in – “Don’t wake me up unless it is an emergency.”

I woke up at 2:15 pm.

The first thing Mom said to me today: “When is dinner gonna be ready?”

Watched a great movie, “Maiden”, the other night, a documentary about a young woman who just wanted to be a cook on a sailboat during a race around the world. She was refused. “No women!” So she managed to get her own boat, an all female crew, and entered the race.

    • lateblum says:

YES!!! Maiden was at least one of the best – if not THE best movies that I saw this year. I think I’ve recommended it repeatedly here and in real life.
