Democrats Return To Racism Just As A Dog Returns To Its Vomit

From the NY Post:

AOC, boyfriend talk about ‘combating racism as a white person’ in Instagram stories

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez made a rare appearance with boyfriend Riley Roberts while taking questions from fans in an Instagram story Friday night.

The freshman Queens socialist enlisted her man to talk about the issue of “combating racism as a white person.”

“I think it’s helpful and important to talk to other white people about racism, and I think a lot of people, they don’t want to be racist,” Roberts, 30, offered as AOC sat beside him. “They don’t think that they’re racist, but they also don’t know some of the things they believe or say are and can be racist.”

Neither offered anything in particular about what they defined as racist, or who gets to decide what is and is not racist. Roberts suggested telling racist white friends that they were not, in fact, racist, but merely held “wrong” opinions.

“One of the effective ways is just to talk and kind of help teach them about why some of the things they believe or say or think are wrong — not necessarily racist — but that they’re wrong and that will sort of chip away and contribute to some development in this area but not necessarily take somebody from being a racist to not being a racist in one conversation,” he said.

Alex, Riley, let me clue you in on the Klown 1-step program on how to combat racism:

1. Don’t be a racist.

There is a reason that the Klown 1-step program on how to combat racism doesn’t say anything about making other people stop being racist. That’s because this country is still nominally a free country, and ITS NOT YOUR FUCKING JOB TO TELL PEOPLE WHAT TO DO!

if you want to tell people what to do get a blog, and be prepared to get an earful from total strangers. And since I have a blog, let me tell YOU how to combat racism:

1. Define racism.
2. Don’t be a racist.
3. Lead by example.

There are a lot of definitions of “racist” and “racism” out there. The old school definition of racism was the belief that each race has certain immutable characteristics. Racism was connected to white supremacy, which was the belief that the white race is superior to all the other races. I don’t want to get lost in the weeds discussing terminology and nomenclature because there are lots of terms out there, some old, some new, with various definitions. We can’t talk about this stuff if we are using different definitions. And it doesn’t help that the Left keeps trying to use language as a means of controlling people, and they keep changing definitions to suit their purposes.

So here is my working definition of racism: Judging and treating people differently based upon their race.

My definition is problematic, because the question immediately comes to mind, “How do you define ‘race?'”

All humans are the same species. ‘Race’ is a subspecies category originally based primarily on skin color. Now the designations are confusing and arbitrary. ‘Black’ people aren’t black, and white people aren’t white. The term ‘negroid’ is now considered offensive, but “African” isn’t quite accurate because we all came from Africa originally.

How many races are there? Back when there were only two genders there were as many as five races, but there was disagreement as to what those five races were. Black, White, Asian, and . . .? The old rule was that if you had ‘one drop’ of Negro blood You were a Negro, but DNA tests have shown that just about everybody has a drop or two in them. Before DNA tests the rule was that if you had one great-grandparent who was black, then you were black. But what if your great-grandfather only had one drop (making him black) and you got one drop from him, are you 1/64th or 1/8th? Meanwhile, everybody on Earth has one of three blood types.

It’s a mess.

But here is a key truth: As long as race matters, race will continue to matter. You cannot have it both ways. The only way to get rid of racism is to have a ‘colorblind’ nation where race does not matter.

For the first 80-something years of our Republic’s existence, we allowed race-based slavery to exist. We fought a war to get rid of it but the smoke from the battles had barely cleared when race-based slavery was replaced with race-based Segregation. That malignant tumor in the body politic stuck around for a century. Over 50 years have passed since we ended Segregation and racial discrimination but racism is still a major issue to some people.

The Democrat party was the party of slavery. The Democrat party was the party of Segregation. And which party is obsessed with racism? The Democrats. The Democrat party is nearly 200 years old, and for pretty much its entire history Democrats have been obsessed with race. No matter what else happens, Democrats keep coming back to racism.

Proverbs 26:11: “As a dog returns to his vomit, so a fool returns to his folly.”

“Did you just call me a dog?”

Wow, I guess gay men are going to have some of the same problems women have when running for President. Women aren’t taken seriously in some parts of the world and are actively degraded and same with gay men. We might not like the countries that do the degrading but no question we have to deal with them effectively.

      • DeniseVB says:

Sharia Law is supported by the left (led by The Insufferable Squad ladies)which is the dumbest douchebaggery I’ve ever seen in politics. President Trump has been leading an effort for the UN to ban punishing gays and women for those laws that violate human rights. Meh, crickets. What’s the left doing for those causes? Where’s the media supporting PDJT’s efforts?

Leftists have been dredging up Media Matters Greatest Hits about Rush Limbaugh. One is the “Rush called Chelsea Clinton a dog” lie that is now older than the pajama boys posting about it. I actually watched that episode of his syndicated show and the “incident” had to do with Rush telling a story about the dog while a picture of Chelsea came on screen. Should we compare that to the millions of times the media screwed up their visuals or titles, aside from the regular lying?

This is why Trump gave a medal to Rush.

    • DeniseVB says:

I do remember Rush’s apologies, really, a loooong time ago, he screwed up, get over it Dims. They won’t. Chelsea turned out to be Hillary’s mini-me anyhow, now that she’s 40 and spewing Mommy Dearest’s talking points, fair game. Howdy. Doody.

Aoc has a credible challenger, s/he will lose because too many in her district agree with her. It’s a Queens thing, sadly, and the msm/social media give her “adorkable” personality way too much coverage. Name recognition is so Alinsky/Cloward/Piven. They target the dumbsh*ts.

Racism had, sad to say, been a “Cottage Industry” for quite some time and is now a Big Business. Every town and city has its practitioners: hire or appoint them to point out the splinter in their neighbor’s eye while ignoring the beam in their own. Jackson, Sharpton and their ilk were from a generation past. Now, AOC, The Squad and Antifa lead the new generation of lemmings and naifs down the same path. Donate, elect and support them or risk being called that career and life changing word: Racist. I’m starting to think the barb on that arrow has been dulled a bit, thanks in part to Trump who has shown how it is possible to survive and even triumph over such attacks.
In the words of Rodney King, “Can’t we all just get along”?

    • Constance says:

Democrats are addicted to outrage at this point. Their lives without it are dull. Outrage doesn’t appeal to me so that is why I need conservative media. I’m surprised racism still works for them as I don’t see people who want to be racist anywhere. I guess you have to live in a bubble and believe in the monsters under the bed to buy the non stop racism garbage. But one thing I will give the Dems, they have a plan to attract stupid voters because there are a lot of them. Republicans keep trying to make sensible arguments to stupid people and that is never going to work.

      • Mothy67 says:

I think you on to something about outrage.

        WSJ excerpt”

But Mr. Buttigieg’s stint in the Navy isn’t as impressive as he makes it out to be. His 2019 memoir is called “Shortest Way Home,” an apt description of his military service. He entered the military through a little-used shortcut: direct commission in the reserves. The usual route to an officer’s commission includes four years at Annapolis or another military academy or months of intense training at Officer Candidate School. ROTC programs send prospective officers to far-flung summer training programs and require military drills during the academic year. Mr. Buttigieg skipped all that—no obstacle courses, no weapons training, no evaluation of his ability or willingness to lead. Paperwork, a health exam and a background check were all it took to make him a naval officer.

        • lyn says:

        • Constance says:

          So, sounds like CIA.

        • lyn says:

Combat veterans have grumbled for decades about the direct-commission route. The politically connected and other luminaries who receive immediate commissions are disparaged as “pomeranian princes.” Former Trump chief of staff Reince Priebus became a Naval Reserve officer in 2018 at age 46. Hunter Biden, son of the former vice president, accepted a direct commission but was discharged after one month of service for failing a drug test.

I was working at Joe Allen. Linda Lavin was on Broadway in Anne Frank play. She always wanted a Marboro Light after dinner. I usually smoked with her. One day I said buy your own pack. She looked at me like I had committed murder. How dare I tell a celeb to buy smokes. She bought me a carton the next day.
One day Carol Channing came in. She had no money. She had lost her husband. They lived on 72nd street but they were seeing a show so they got a room 20 blocks away He got in a cab and she walked to Joe Allen. . She had no money. She ordered a cappuccino with no money to pay. I said with all due respect I am not letting you walk home alone. You are Dolly Levi. I walked her to her hotel. She decided to give me a wet sloppy kiss when we found her husband sitting in front of the hotel. Somehow that pic made it on German tabloids. I became Carole Channings young lover. Very fake news. I walked a Broadway legend home i did sleep with the cheese grater from Beauty and the Beast so perhaps I deserve scorn

Laura Dern’s speech was good. Brad Pitt, fuck you with Obama’s big toe. I watched the clips on the Oscars’ page.

    • Mt.Laurel says:

Laura always comes off a someone who acts because she enjoys the work but would certainly be able to find her niche elsewhere is she needed/wanted to move away from acting.

On the other hand, Brad, among others, did not even write his speech. They have people to that do for them so they stay on message. So the many of them were just role playing for the cameras as is it was any other gig. They are never “off”.

  32. Mothy67 says:

I think it’s a shame that I don’t care about the Oscars or the Super Bowl. Those things were always a reason to get together. I didn’t even know they were on. When shay was a tadpole we would get dressed up to watch. Formal wear. Meryl Streep killed that for me.
I also find 99% of movies taxing with their PC shit. I found the Downton Abbey movie enjoyable because it was like getting together with old friends. The show was always a commentary on class, but I never felt I was being hit over the head. Maybe there is just too much choice for entertainment or maybe I have aged out. I have no patience for lessons. I want to chill when I turn on the TV. Netflix is the worst. I swear there are more trans on tv than in real life. If netflix made Downton they’d have a diversity cast even though that would not reflect actual history. They did get shit for portraying the Irish brother as a drunk. Cause the Irish don’t have a history of libations.
It gets worse for kids shows. I watched 13 Reasons Why because I knew Shay would see it even if I blocked it. Ripped my cold dead heart out, squeezed it and then stomped on it. It is tv-MA but its marketed to kids. It is about suicide. I was not entirely averse, but someone needs to watch it and be able to talk about the tough stuff. It almost celebrates suicide. Shay is a sports nut so I wasn’t overly worried. She has that to hold on to and she knows I am always doing a wellness check. Some of her friends come over on Friday and Sunday night is the next time a parent calls. Not possible for me. I text if she is gone for more than two hours. I will go to prison if they are ever read by an authority. I say what ya doin? Are you drunk. She says yeah wasted and drag racing. I writes that’s dear. Please opt for good vodka. The cheap stuff gives you a wicked hangover. She replies good to know. My brat won’t be touching booze but American Horror Story is the hot show. I asked her not to watch Hotel. I said babe it is very dark. Bad choice of words. I hope I teach my monster to think but telling her not to watch is like buying a ticket to view. There is ass rape brutal rape. I had to discuss how it was a metaphor for addiction. I wish my little girl was watching Happy Days. That is not reality any more. TV is graphic. We can only discuss and we adults have to be willing to talk and listen. Shay was teeny tiny when Madonna offered blow jobs in 2008. She said TT what’s a blow job? I sat down on the street and said babe I cannot go there right now. I am always going to be here but we are putting that question on hold.

attacks on Trump voters are becoming commonplace now. No shock anymore. This is what the dems have done to this country. They have to be swept out of any office and never have the chance to do this again.

  38. Constance says:

Last year 1000 Chinese citizens illegally crossed the open southern border each month. Probably more are coming now. USA citizens who come home to the USA legally from China are held in quarantine for 2 weeks. People who are allowed by our government to cross into our country get in without a check up or quarantine.

  39. Constance says:

I met some people I used to work with for a drink this afternoon. They have always been appalled that President Trump won the election but today one of them was completely wigged out. She has all kinds of impressive titles and degrees and she is talking of quitting her job to work full time on the election. She was really talking crazy, all of it talking points but she feels we are in tremendous danger because of all sorts of crazy imaginary crap Trump MIGHT do. I guess this last week really set her off or something. She was even raving about “The wall” and how we are unsafe because Trump moved military funds to the wall although she has never supported the military or the second amendment. I guess there really are dumb shits who thought Trump would be impeached and removed from office and they are bat shit crazy now. I’ve never seen anything like it. I can’t imagine what it will be like when they lose in 2020. I think we better arm ourselves for self protection. I fully support the cops but when seconds count the police are only minutes away so we need to have plans.

I support the wall although I do worry that if Socialists manage to get control of the country they will use the wall to keep us in. All socialist countries have to prevent people from leaving to maintain the luxury life style of those who are more equal than everyone else.

For the record whatever Dem they put up will win the state of Washington so why waste time working for Washington Dems? It is completely delusional. I’ve had a few idiot Dems try to recruit me but why? All of WA electoral votes will go Dem so there is no point in annoying people by intense yammering at them. so that is why I’m feeling that it is some sort of threat. It makes absolutely zero difference how I vote in the next election. Maybe they are so stupid they don’t “get” that.

      • Mothy67 says:

One of my mom’s friends is running for my shit head’s seat. She is getting no press. I find it astonishing that people are democrats. The city I grew up in has turned into a third world country. Welfare is normal. Kids graduate and can barely read. I do not get how it is accepted. The place was lovely when I was a kid. We never locked our door and we played outside all the time. I will not even take Shayla there for a cousin’s birthday party. People get shot. My Aunt Patty had seven girls who all became school teachers. They are so drunk on liberalism. I cannot get through to them. We grew up two blocks apart. We all got to dream big. Things were often tight but we made it. We all got jobs at 16. You had to work if you wanted to go to McDonald’s Friday night after the game. My immediate family endured a lot of poverty. There was a tv in the corner it just didn’t work. Friday was payday. We all had to go grocery shopping. That one night a week we ate like we had two nickels to rub together. It was movie night. We sat in front of the not working TV and made up stories. A telephone was something I had to walk four doors down to use at my great grandfather s house. My great grandfather was an orphan who became a train engineer. I scored very well on a test. Purdue gave me an engineering scholarship. I thought I was going away to learn how to drive trains. I didn’t even apply. They came after me. Purdue is a decent school. I walked away from Purdue because I wanted to be an actor. I went there and Temple and Hunter. I have lived in London, Lisbon, and New York. My brat has had an iPhone for a decade. I have traveled down many a rugged old road, but I am thankful. America has really gifted me. I do not throw pity parties. I did fuck up real bad when Shay was teeny. I would play Poor Poor Pitiful Me. I had not listened to the words just the theme. She laid her head on the railroad tracks waiting on the double E. I finally heard it one day. I was like babe I am so sorry. Pup laughed. I have not ever treated baby girl like she was a victim. She is Different Drum not a sad song. I am blessed. We all are. What if I had told Shay some sad story about her own life? I tell her her mom chose life and got help. I do not tell little one she was thrown away. I have never said a bad word even when her mom woke up when Shay was 3 and her mom said I was sexually abusing her. I got it. I had to move. I was cleared but I made the decision to not charge her. You have no idea how I was talked to by social workers. There was a presumption of guilt. I bit my lip. I let them flip over my bed and decimate my dresser. They were looking for kiddie porn. I do not hate Kayla, Shay’s mom, she was 18 and her dad had taken his own life. I want her to love her mom. It was actually very nice around Christmas. Kayla loves Shay. She was just a kid. She texted me about a gift for Christmas. I said come down without your other three kids and take her to a volley ball game. She did. We agree Shayla matters. I could have made it ugly. Why? So I can be indignant?? The pup called me one day. Her dad was being asshole. I carried her home six miles. I had fled my house because her dad had forgotten her. I did not grab my wallet. I told her we were screwed but this was going to be an adventure. We climbed trees and rolled down hills.
My point is grow the fuck up. Stop creating excuses. Deal with shit. I am held hostage by the love of my life, Dolly

In 1984, I met Gary Hart at a mall in New Hampshire when he was running for president the first time, and it was primary season. His staff had put a campaign sign on the side of the escalator. Hart was standing next to the sign. A shopper walked up to him and asked him if this was where Hart was going to be meeting the public. I nearly choked. He said yes. She said she’d come back later when the candidate got there. When she walked away, he walked over to me and asked me if I was waiting for the candidate, too. I said, “No, Mr. Hart. I’m here with my teenage Girl Scout troop, and the bottom of the escalator is our meeting spot when it’s time to go home.” I felt bad for the guy, but he went on to win the NH primary over Mondale that year. So Liz might still have a chance. No, she probably doesn’t. 🙂

The challenger is from Saco, which is on the southern coast near the gentrified city of Portland. The campaign released a guillotine tee shirt you can’t buy. I don’t know if Susan Collins needs to worry. 😉

Is that her only competition? She waffled because of THAT?

      • elliesmom says:

No, there will be a Democratic primary. One of the possible challengers is the speaker of the Maine House of Representatives. Another is the current Maine Secretary of State, and another a failed candidate for the nomination for Governor.
