The Media Has The Covfefe-45 Virus

If Trump is for it, they’re against it. If Trump is against it, they’re for it.

If Trump hates it they love it. If Trump loves it they hate it.

If they were teenagers and Trump was their daddy, the diagnosis would be Oppositional Defiant Disorder. The official name for this condition is Covfefe-45, but it is more commonly called Trump Derangement Syndrome. There is no known cure, but anecdotally duct tape has been effective in lowering noise levels and in relieving stress in caregivers.

Mom Update:

A new raised toilet seat with rails was installed. No potty problems since.

So glad the new seat with rails worked for your mom!!

Is there any way to install permanent rails? That type of seat worked for about a year for my MIL, then her balance issues got worse and wiping became a problem. We moved to a bidet toilet seat with blow dryer and separate rails, never had any more bathroom problems.

I love the briefings and hate to see them end so I hope this is just a change in format. The biggest problem was the reporters. They sent political reporters to cover a health event and they were too stupid to grasp the seriousness of the situation to real people and too ignorant to ask relevant questions. First year pre med and economics students could have done a better job. They actually stand between The People and information so they can twist the info.

I think President Trump said something yesterday about raising temperatures. You could raise the temperature in hospital rooms but there was an old technique where they pumped peoples blood through a warming machine and then cooled it to normal body temp and the pumped it back into the person. You could certainly raise the humidity and that would probably help people breathe. And it would help to put UV lights up high in bars pointing at the ceiling with fans that brought the air upwards, there is a guy who did studies on this who was on Laura Ingram Thursday night. Those findings that they put out to the world at Thursdays Covid conference were important and there is many ways we could take advantage of the info.

    • Myiq2xu says:

Rule of Trump: When the media says Trump said something crazy but they don’t include a video clip, they’re lying. When you see a video clip of Trump saying something that sounds crazy, the video had been edited. When you see an unedited video of Trump saying something that sounds crazy, 99% of the time he’ll be proven correct.

That’s great news about your mom. I’m very familiar with the raised toilet seat…had one at my house for my sister, went out and bought and installed one for my friend post surgery. Couldn’t convince my brother to get one though…that bitch he lived with preferred for him to collapse on the floor and call 911 – 5 times in the week before he died. Such a simple, accessible, and low cost solution for those who need a little assist.

  9. lyn says:

Enjoyed this film on amazon prime.

Klown, what good news about the solution to your mother’s bathroom quandary. How ever did you think of it? I used a raised seat while I recovered from back surgery. It was a godsend. I’m certain your mother is more than a little relieved. 😉

    • Myiq2xu says:

In my 60 years on this planet, I have often imagined myself doing many, many things – Walter Mitty is my spirit animal. At no time in my life did I imagine that I would be helping my mother on and off the toilet.

Mom might be uncomfortable having her son help her in the bathroom, but she’s not as uncomfortable as her son is.

      • Somebody says:

My husband whined at first about helping his mom in the bathroom, my sister has recently expressed similar sentiments.

It never really bothered me, but I diapered a lot of babies so helping grandma, aunt, dad or my MIL didn’t impact me as much with ONE BIG exception. The hospice workers made me glove up and deal with my father’s compaction 😱😱

Yep, elbow deep I went not once but TWICE, still not over it. That’s my trump card whenever hubby would whine and now when my sister whines. Just remember it could be worse Klown.

Hospice, at least here had a thing about bowels. They would overload my dad with laxatives 🤢 I was the one dealing with that, it was horrible for him and me. So I’d cut back, that’s why those bitches made me deal with the impactions. I still insist there was a happy medium to be found but they disagreed. They didn’t stop massive quantities of laxatives until he was on morphine drip and about 36 hours from death.

I try to watch at least some of Laura Ingraham’s show every night. For weeks she has as guests numerous doctors who are treating patients with HCQ/zPak/zinc. They also talk about other doctors who are using this all over the world to treat covid-19 patients. They are all in agreement that you must give it early. Before they go to an ICU. And they all see success in this treatment. Yesterday the FDA came out with a warning that it should only be given in a hospital setting or in a clinical trial. Hydroxychloroquine – a drug in use since 1955 and taken by millions of people here and all over the world OUTSIDE of a hospital setting! Tell me this isn’t political. This has shocked me more than anything, the fact that Trump haters would rather people die than Trump get credit for making people aware of this treatment. (I hope I never get this virus. The doctor who is chief of staff of our hospital is totally against the combo, and he lets his TDS show.)

Last night she had two doctors on to discuss this FDA warning. One is Dr. Ramin Oskoui who has appeared several times on her show. He also said several weeks ago that a vaccine is unlikely to happen, because NO vaccine has ever been developed for any of the coronaviruses. For that reason, he said we need to concentrate on herd immunity and then HCQ for treatment.

  15. DeniseVB says:

And so it begins……this lady is part of The Resistance, but, of course. LOL, my then toddler Greg got a hold of some bleach….and drank it. After a panicked call to poison control was told it was not toxic, no burns in his mouth or lips, he probably didn’t swallow either, icky taste.

I use the feature on the trending list that let’s me see only the people I follow, it’s pretty handy weeding out the TDS trolls. For instance, if #DrumpfIsAPoopyHead is trending, clicking on People You’re Following Only, chances it comes up *No Results Found*. Saves me from reading a lot of swamp scum 😀

I wonder how many people who believe Fauci and Birx when they talk about a vaccine in 18 months or so know there has never been a successful vaccine for any of the corona viruses? How many of them know Fauci has been working on a vaccine for HIV for over 30 years? Every time Trump brings up a treatment to mitigate the effects of the virus, the press excoriates him for it, but they never contradict Fauci. Who are Fauci’s friends? Anyone whose name is associated with vaccines?

    • DeniseVB says:

Bill Gates ? I’ve seen several links to his foundation.

    • Somebody says:

There are all sorts of pictures and rumors about Fauci and Brix and the Gates foundation. Rumors about Fauci and vaccine patents. I don’t know the veracity of any of it.

What I do know is that there has not been a successful vaccine for a coronavirus. There are however some fairly promising treatments. There may be complicating factors for certain patients with certain treatment courses, but that is true of just about any illness and/or treatment regime. There seems to be a poo pooing of virtually any treatment or proposed treatment on the part of many and I’m really bothered by that.

There will be no treatment that is risk free. There will be no treatment that is 100% effective. If they even develop a successful vaccine it won’t be 100% effective or without risk. We should move forward with what we have, if the HCQ+Z-pak treatment is safe and effective for 70% then by George we should be using with the 70% and work like hell to figure out how to treat the other 30%.

When my daughter was diagnosed with leukemia she had a 74% chance of survival following standard protocol. I prayed she was in that 74% and she was. I didn’t hold out for a perfect protocol with no side effects or risks. If I had, she’d be dead and I’d still be waiting.

A few short weeks ago, the CDC and the NIH said not only should we not be wearing masks, but it could be dangerous if we did. Now, WuFlu has started showing up in cats. Namely, cats belonging to people who are sick from the virus. But the CDC is saying we shouldn’t be worried because we can’t get the virus from cats. They can just get it from us. I look at the scarf lady, and she has cat lady written all over her. Can we trust her? 😉

    • jeffhas says:

Somehow I trust Birx slightly more then Fauci. Fauci is an alarmist with a GOD complex – Birx is an alarmist as well – but at least she has corrected the media on multiple counts regarding total number of infections/deaths – over THREE phases (or three seasons) you bozos, not one season… and explained that the phase1,2,3 re-entry if followed is perfectly acceptable, regardless of how it doesn’t fit in with the hysteria…. etc. etc. I get the impression that she sees the media hysteria, realizes it is all about TDS and even though she may not be a fan girl of Trump, she doesn’t like how they are whipping the public into panic 24/7.

      • elliesmom says:

But on CNN she slipped and said she was following the lead of the Gates Foundation, and then quickly corrected herself and said the government. The question about Birx is do you trust Bill Gates?

        • Jentx says:

Follow the money he’ll know Bill Gates can suck it you know who Bill and Melinda Gates are real close with the Obamas. Bill Gates has 15 drugs currently in research to treat coronavirus really how do you have 15 this virus what couple months old. Birx and Fauchi can suck it I wouldn’t trust them to treat a dead dog. And as far as trusting any vaccine absolutely not you should read what they put in vaccines for the flu in addition to having a very small chance like one in ten of giving you any benefit to do the multi strains of flu out there there are additives and fillers they can have very serious effects. My doctor said many people have severe reactions allergies to the additives etc etc. Anything that puts the drug companies or politicians in charge of things should raise the hackles of all smart people. The best offense to this virus is making sure you’re healthy and you have all your vitamins if sleeping well and you keep clean.

          • Constance says:

I want to see the media step up and take the vaccination, we can observe them for some time and then decide if we want it.

      • jeffhas says:

I did say ‘slightly’ more then Fauci.

I’m really not confident either of them have any interest in the economic pandemic they’ve caused, but of the two, if I had to choose, at least Birx has shown a willingness to challenge the media. It took Fauci to basically be called a puppet before he pushed back, and by pushed back I mean he glared back.

Finding out her links to Gates foundation is super troubling, but again, at the very least, slightly better then Fauci.

It’s rough, because I’m disappointed Trump is utilizing these two, but in the other hand, the media whipping up 90% support for Global Hysteria has made it difficult for him to move in another direction – he’s done the best he can with the situation… and by situation, I mean a virus that has been hyped by the media as a ‘28 days later’ type zombie apocalypse. Which it isn’t by a loooooon way.

        • elliesmom says:

I was referring to Birx as “the cat lady” partly in jest. I have a real life friend who blasts all of us daily about how if we step outside our door, we’re responsible for killing people until we step on one of her third rails. This friend is a real life cat lady, and when the reports came out the virus is showing up in cats, and I suggested people should, perhaps, postpone adopting cats until we know more, she went ballistic. Likewise, I got her ire when I hesitated cancelling my trip to see another friend, but she got on a plane and went to Florida to check up on her dad. Now, I think she did the right thing by checking up on her 90 year old dad, but I wouldn’t have been risking anyone else’s health anymore than she did.
I do believe Birx and Fauci are probably more loyal to Gates than they are to Trump. I do believe they have an agenda other than getting our country through this. I do think we may not know what that agenda is for a long time.

Naw, you’re supposed to snort the bleach, ignorant peasants!

    • elliesmom says:

That says more about the average intelligence of New Yorkers than it does about Trump. Didn’t their mothers teach them about not jumping off a bridge just because someone told you to? When I worked in the big city school, I kept getting told “City kids are more street-smart than the country kids I was used to.” Uh-huh, yup, if you say so.

    • Constance says:

So I guess there are a lot of people who unquestioningly follow Trump in NYC? We need names and we need to check their voter registration or it didn’t happen.

      • taw46 says:

It didn’t happen. The headline on the first article is misleading. No one died or was hospitalized because they did NOT drink disinfectant. In the article it states “… An unusually high number of New Yorkers contacted city health authorities over fears that they had ingested bleach or other household cleaners….”. The second article explains call volume has been high all over the US since March, because people are using more disinfectants than ever. Sometimes using Lysol to clean produce, so then they call poison control. The calls escalated after cities put out a warning about disinfectants, had nothing to do with Trump.

    • Anthony says:

Who doesn’t know that french fries and chicken nuggets aren’t the healthiest choice? I guess some of the items are even bigger than what you get from Costco. Farmers are having to dump potatoes because they have no where to send them. Why not suspend some rules and allow restaurants to sell some items like Texas is doing?

I have seen several people on twitter complaining that unemployment has not yet come through for them. I have no idea how it works. I applied once over 20 years ago and you had to call in weekly, by the time I was deemed eligible I had a job. How often is it paid. What is the cap, what % of wages do you get? Is everyone who is approved getting the extra 600. How often is the 600 paid? Will someone making 10 an hour be getting say 300 +600 and thus making more to not work? Are u COBRA eligible with UC?

    • taw46 says:

The cap is different for each state. It is paid weekly, and for now, you do not have to check in weekly. And yes, the $600 is in addition to their unemployment. That is why some people do not want to return to work, they are getting paid more now. Tucker had a man on the other night who owns several restaurants in Clearwater, FL. He started doing takeout and delivery since he can’t open his restaurants yet. Some of his employees would not return because they were making more money not working. He knows they won’t return until the federal government quits paying the 60o per week (approved through July).
