I’ll Settle For A Few Small Fish

Little Fish

There is an old saying that goes: “America has the best justice system that money can buy. How much justice can you afford?” One of our principles is that “No one is above the law” but in reality, some people can get away with things that would put the rest of us behind bars forever.

Just as some banks are “too big to fail,” some people are too big to jail.

Rayn Random at American Thinker:

Why AG Barr is right about not criminally prosecuting Obama or Biden

A friend, who thinks politically as we do here, phoned this morning after just hearing Barr’s comments doubting that Obama or Biden would be criminally prosecuted. We both would love to see it, but consider how destructive the Dems’ legal efforts to get Trump to testify so they could prosecute him have been for the past three years, and then imagine what could happen if the precedent were set to prosecute future presidents of either party. Such a spectacle would draw worldwide attention and obliterate everything else our country needed to be doing that would have more impact on our country’s, and even the world’s, future.

If there were a trial, it would go on for years, and that wouldn’t even include all the appeals. No matter how it concluded, whether it were an acquittal, a partial conviction, a hung jury, or a jury nullification, it would still be argued for decades. Either way, Obama would be a hero to millions throughout the world, and he could go on another anti-American world tour as a victim of an unfair justice system. The ones who actually did the crimes at his direction would be brushed aside in the frenzy and even forgotten.

Hillary Clinton was never in any danger of going to prison. Prisons are for little people. If there is one thing the Elites all agree on it’s that their kind should never be subject to the same justice as our kind. Jailing is rarer than assassination and “suicide” among the elites.

When you see a big fish go to jail, it’s a safe bet that a bigger fish ordered the code red. You don’t really think that a US Attorney, acting on his own initiative, put Rod Blagowhatsitz behind bars, do you? More typical is what happens when some local yokel cops arrest a celebrity for some mundane crime like drug possession or filing a false police report.

It’s not fair, but that’s the way it is. Jailing Hillary or Obama wouldn’t accomplish anything, it would just turn them into martyrs. There will always be politicians who will happily abuse their power, and the politician who would not lie to get elected or to keep his job hasn’t been born.

Little fish, on the other hand, go to prison all the time. Nixon got away, but some of his henchmen went to Club Fed. Guys like Nixon and Obama always have henchmen willing to do their dirty work, but those henchmen don’t have the same Elite Immunity, and when the mob is screaming for blood those little fishies are the designated blood donors.

Jailing the little fish does have a deterrent effect, especially on members of the Deep State. If you lock up one FBI agent, all the other agents will hear about it. Lock up one FBI Director and every agent for the next 100 years will hear about him.

Here are some little fish that should be in prison:

John Brennan
James Clapper
James Comey
Peter Strzok
Lisa Page

I’ll be happy if at least three of them do time. Nobody will miss them when they’re gone.

Barack Obama will never go to prison. But he’ll never be president again either. What will hurt him the most is being exposed as the incompetent, corrupt, douchebag that he is.

Perhaps they are trying to smear Rice so she won’t be chosen as VP. She would be the perfect choice. Correct genitals and skin color and no presidential ambition of her own. The spectacle of any of the female presidential candidates working their ass off to push Biden over the finish line when they are clearly more competent than he is will appall women voters, however it is something Leftist men will be oblivious to or they will think everything in the world is as it should be.

I suppose we may have to settle for a few small fish. But wouldn’t it be nice if some of those small fish flipped on some of the bigger ones. Even if it’s just to expose them.

I’d settle for an Obama “Gillum” moment, in addition to all the facts about what a lying POS he was being laid before the American people. Lay it all out, every dirty detail, make him more reviled than Nixon. Then he looks for an escape, get trashed, ends up OD’d naked in a pool of vomit with a male prostitute.

I could live with that outcome.

  9. Constance says:

I agree with Klown’s post that prosecuting a past president is not a precedent that we want to set. BUT be aware that Democrats don’t care about history, our country or precedent. Just because Republicans don’t do it to them does not mean they won’t do it. They will. They will pursue and stalk President Trump and his family and anyone associated with him until they die. It is their reason for existing. For that reason they need to be cut down completely and destroyed. They have allowed themselves to become evil and they have enjoyed their process of corruption.

I went to get milk. There was a dog with no collar running loose. I walked with him up and down the streets hoping to find someone who knew him. I initially thought he was my bad girl. He only came to me because I was using the voice I use with my spoiled mutts. He socially distanced from me. We walked about 20 minutes then I heard a guy outside yelling Cooper. I asked are you Cooper. His tail went insane. I walked him home. The guy did not say thank you????????

It was dollar burger night. Seriously one dollar for a burger with fries. I was playing Jolene over and over. She got mad. Oops she said fuck off, i said no you fuck off. We were 3rd graders.

Supreme Court blocks House Judiciary Committee from receiving Mueller grand jury documents

Democrats had been seeking previously redacted document th

The Supreme Court on Wednesday blocked efforts by the House Judiciary Committee to acquire grand jury documents gathered by the special investigators of Robert Mueller’s special counsel, temporarily frustrating Democratic efforts to continue the open-ended investigation of President Donald Trump.

The Judiciary Committee had said it needed the documents pursuant to its investigating the president over his allegedly impeachable offenses, claiming that those efforts “did not cease” after Democrats failed to remove him from office earlier this year.

The grand jury documents sought by the committee had been redacted by federal officials when submitted as part of Mueller’s final report to Congress in March of last year. Democrats had requested that the suppressed information be made available to them, though federal grand jury information is normally sealed with few exceptions, including when the material is relevant to a judicial proceeding.

The committee argued that the impeachment proceeding, which functions similarly to a court trial, fell under that exception. Two lower courts agreed, but the Supreme Court today issued a temporary stay on those findings.

The court requested that both the Judiciary Committee and the Trump administration file legal briefs in support of their positions by June 1. If the federal government does not file an appeal by then, the stay will be lifted.

The stay, if it is upheld, may bring to an end to alleged Democratic efforts to bring a second impeachment trial against Trump, one that’s reportedly contingent upon the contents of the grand jury files.

It reminds of a scene in Life is Beautiful. The hero is waiting tables in an upscale hotel. The women talk coldly about what Hitler was doing with undesirable children. He was exterminating them. It was okay to kill for the greater good. My father had COPD. Life takes it twists and turns. The hospital wanted to put my dad down like a rabid dog. Life can be beautiful. My dad, who had broken a few of my bones pulled his truck over and decided to tell me I was worth something. I kinda needed that moment. I look just like my father. Like Montgomery Clift with better bluer eyes. Some lady who made a few films like Blue Velvet, Cat on a hot tin roof, a few other academy award winning films told me I had the most beautiful eyes she had ever seen. Did ya think I lived in NYC, London, and Paris based on my intellect? I am not even close to half that smart. My jeepers creepers wrote that not me. My dad was a deacon. He was horribly ashamed of me. A pretty f a g son is not a badge worn well. we got over it. It took time. Time Jefferson Hospital was willing to take.

Cover Up: Fauci Approved Chloroquine, Hydroxychloroquine 15 Years Ago to Cure Coronaviruses; “Nobody Needed to Die”

Dr. Anthony Fauci, whose “expert” advice to President Trump has resulted in the complete shutdown of the greatest economic engine in world history, has known since 2005 that chloroquine is an effective inhibitor of coronaviruses.

    • DeniseVB says:

So there always was a treatment ? I thought that was the scary, heebie-jeebie reason we all had to isolate? Now it’s till we find a vaccine?

      • SHV says:

“Cover Up: Fauci Approved Chloroquine, Hydroxychloroquine 15 Years Ago to Cure Coronaviruses; “Nobody Needed to Die”
Best I can tell from very brief search, that article is total bullshit. Fauci and the NIAID (NIH) had nothing to do with that study; it was conducted by the CDC and a group in Canada and received Canadian funding. The study showed that HCQ was effective in cell culture. The Journal Virology has nothing to do with the NIH but is part of the BMC group which is a Springer Company. The article is availably online via the National Library of Medicine.

Most of the stuff that I read online re:COVID, medical treatment, ventilators, etc. is very fishy. It will probably be 6-12 months minimum before any “real” data become available and that will likely be highly politicized.

        • somebody says:

I agree with you SHV, not sure we’ll ever get real objective evidence on HCQ and what a crying shame, utter crying shame. Politics doesn’t belong in medicine. I know, I know, I’m not that naive, but it really doesn’t belong there.

I though I had read about patients during SARS being treated with the HCQ regimen, somewhere in Asia perhaps? It wasn’t very many, but the doctor remembered and spoke up which is where the cocktail came from. I hadn’t read about the CDC and Canada.

I think like any medication it doesn’t work for everyone. It does appear to work for some, there’s too much evidence out there. I think the questions are A) would the patients it works for have gotten better anyway? B) does it shorten the duration? C) is the risk worth the reward?

I don’t know the answer to A. Anecdotally my friend was getting worse and worse, about to be put in ICU before started on it. She made a full recovery, would she have without it??? As for B, the answer seems more clear there it does seem to shorten the duration, even in studies that dismiss it, it show slightly shorter hospital stays. As for C, that’s for a patient and doctor to describe.

The one thing that seems to be getting lost in all the HCQ debate is this. ZINC is the main event, zinc is preventing the virus from replicating. HCQ from what I understand helps zinc get into the blood stream, it’s an ionophore I believe I’ve read. So what else is out there that acts in a similar fashion that perhaps isn’t as controversial? I’ve read quercetin, but it’s not as good as HCQ. Perhaps there are other compounds. It’s important to figure it out, because it could be applied to other viruses in the future.

        • DeniseVB says:

Ventilators are scary too. This whole thing was about fear and control, I doubt about the virus. Most of us are just playing it safe to be sure…..parts of my state are opening, but I’ll just give it another month or so…..to make sure 🙂

When it’s just me, I usually choose the other porch. So I made a meatloaf, some roasted red potatoes, and some onion gravy. But I still made two plates, and I put one down for Ellie. She was surprised, I think, but she enjoyed her dinner. While we ate, we watched “The Secret of Roan Inish”. She slept with her head on my feet after inhaling the meatloaf. The story was sweet and a nice change from the world today. Thank you very much for the recommendation. It’s now on my “Crash list”. ❤
