Reality Is For People Who Can’t Handle Leftism

https://twitter.com/dbongino/status/1263449477546999809

I haven’t been posting lately because nothing makes sense anymore.

The DOJ tries to do the right thing with Mike Flynn but the judge won’t let them. A drug that has been available for decades is suddenly deadly poison. Trans women are real women, even if they still have a cock and balls. My dentist’s office is closed but Walmart is open. Nancy Pelosi says that Trump is morbidly obese. That woman has had so many face-lifts she has to wear a scarf around her neck to hide her nipples.

I can’t even.

Dan and Tucker are about the only normal news people I trust now. I told SHV downstairs, I’m just in “cover my ass” mode now. I just want normal, none of this NEW normal bullshit. I’m in no hurry to get out and battle cooties, wear masks or meet the rest of the asshole public because I really don’t have to. I only miss picking out my own fruit 🙂

  2. swanspirit says:

I don’t understand the departure from reality, either. Especially egregious, for me, is the drug thing. Being a nurse, a drug is just a drug. Whether someone likes it or not, has absolutely nothing to do with its effectiveness. The effectiveness, has everything to do with the decision to use it. And knowing that if Obanana recommended hydroxychloroquine, every lefty Tom, Dick and Harriet would be taking it whether they needed it or not, is beyond any rational or reasonable behavior that I can understand.
The Republicans, on the other hand, are another country. I think they had no idea how to fight, and were just content to drift along, even if they were up shit ‘s creek without a paddle.

IDK. I think there is a uniparty and the Repubs were paid off to look the other way, so they did. Americans are given only the illusion of choice. If Trump succeeds in remaking the party, it’s a game-changer and that’s why he’s hated on both sides. I see glimmers of hope but remain as cynical as hell about these people.

      • DeniseVB says:

Yep. All one has to do is look back to 2008, McCain wouldn’t attack Obama for fear of being called a racist, so he threw Sarah under the bus instead and blamed her for the loss. Then along came Mitt in 2012, woulda, coulda, shoulda won that easily, it was right after Benghazi and he choked, people re-elected Obama because of the “video” excuse. We still have questions today.

Along came our Bull in the China Closet of Polite Politics, he broke every figurine made of snowflakes he could get his hands on. Crushed and devoured them. That’s how Trump got elected 😀 I think he’ll be re-elected, if not (and it will be because of fraud), he can go back to unfortunate life as a billionaire ❤

        • taw46 says:

If he loses in November, he won’t be allowed to go back to his life. They will be after him until the day he dies. Charges and lawsuits. He HAS to win this November.

  3. 49erDweet says:

I think a lot of Repubs mistakenly think if they just ignore the idiots they’ll all go away.

    • Constance says:

It also seems like the GOP establishment seems to think if Trump goes away then Trump voters will all vote for the GOPe. NO! I am not a Republican. I’m hoping Trump came along just in time to save things and not too late.

  4. DeniseVB says:

If Joe wins, this will be the first woman President? OMG, there’s a lot of ladies of the left who are pissed off now…..if this is true, it is CBS………….

    • DeniseVB says:

Sorry, misread the *trusted* CEE BEE ESS headline to mean she was PICKED. She’s one of dozens he’s considering, she’s just the FIRST being considered. So the next couple of months will be this slow roll out and drama? Or something?

        • elliesmom says:

When I was a counselor at Scout Camp, we used to do a “shipwreck dinner” with the girls on the beach. They’d find cartons of food and utensils scattered on the shore, and they’d have to figure out how to make a dinner with the food they found and serve it on what they could find in the boxes. I’ve eaten my dinner from a pot cover with just a potato masher. When I heard about Klobuchar eating her salad with her comb, I wondered if she’d ever been to camp.

          • Mothy67 says:

            OMG
I think you have just given me the plot for a horror film. Who should be the killer? Teacher is too obvious. Nerd or trans student has been done to death. I guess it could be done as an homage to Sleepaway Camp.

When I went to Campfire Girls camp in the ’60s, our last night production was me crawling in the dirt and whispering “water, water, water.” When I got to the water, I dipped my comb in it and combed my hair.

    • DandyTIger says:

Let’s see, Trump is above 50%, virus handling above 60%, economy handling above that. 15% of Bernie voters say they won’t vote or will vote for Trump. Trump voters openly talk about lying on polls as a prank. So I’m not believing any polls, esp. this one. On the other hand, anyone watching CNN or MSNBC and not alternatives are feed Trump is Satin 24/7, so you never know. Having said that, as we come out of the pandemic and the economy slowly turns, I suspect the most important factor in the race will be who do you believe can re-build the economy.

    • somebody says:

National polls are worthless and much easier to skew. It’s a state by state electoral college race not a national popular vote race.

Trumps approval rating with Republicans is consistently the highest of any POTUS ever. I suppose it’s possible Kristol and company surveyed their republican subscribers and writers to come up with 10% R’s voting Biden, if so it was apparently a really small sample. Sounds like garbage in garbage out to me.

Why, oh why, oh why, couldn’t Kristol and company have booked a Princess cruise this spring?

I think Trump has this. I live in a historically strong democratic district. There is often no challanger for Congress. Mike Doyle runs unopposed. I can taste a change a comen’. The area will always be tainted a bit blue but leftists have pushed the crazy too hard. I have five aunts on my mom’s side and five on my dad’s. They all had big broods. I have over fifty first cousins. we are close. I grew up with them blocks away. Back in the 80’s some struggled a tad bit with me being gay. It was a different time. Me going hard core rethuglican in 2008 was far more startling. I was not republican I just saw where democrats were going. I was not having a slice of that crazy pie. I am not nor will I ever be progressive. They think they are reinventing the wheel. No appreciation for history. I have been with my monster 13 years. I am the biggest advocate for traditional marriage you will ever meet. i wish my baby girl had a mom and dad with a few flaws. Nope she won the crazy lottery. I would offer up everything to give my brat nights of uninterrupted sleep. I cannot sleep. I recall the events. The young men jumped out of an el camino. They pissed on my face. I tried to run they caught me and did the worst. I want my baby girl to have the best of everything. I try. She should never know where I have been. i think I am doing a good job. She is not your average thrown away kid. I believe in her

There are a lot of things in the CDC’s guidelines that will cost a lot of money. Several things that are physically impossible without a big reduction in the school population. Other things that would put schools in conflict with state and federal laws. Either the people at the CDC have never walked into a public school, or they wrote the guidelines to keep schools closed.

because of the virus and people working at home now, there will be big changes when the lockdown ends

  17. DeniseVB says:

  18. Mothy67 says:

How is it in yall’s neck of the woods.
Stores still make you wear masks here, but the lockdown ended here with a triple punch. The May 15th switch to yellow, docs at Pitt calling out the elf, and the knowledge that Tom Wolf was murdering seniors.
I am having non stop sleepovers. Last night they wanted to watch Shameless. I don’t restrict what Shay can watch. We talk pretty openly about everything. I can’t let other peoples kids watch a show with a raging alcoholic who steals a dead aunts social security and will get men off in a bathroom to buy a drink. They all have a crush on the Carl character. I said fine let me call your parents and get an okay. Suddenly not one girl needed to watch Shameless. What is funny one of the parents worked with Abby Lee Miller (Dance Moms) and another who was Shaypups ballet teacher was a Broadway dancer. They are the most reserved. I grew up with very Catholic parents. I am still very Catholic in my own way. I was born in 1967 and spent years amidst HIV. People died because people did not talk. My sister woke me up in 1984. She had to go to the bathroom. She saw the babies head. Scotty was born that morning. My sister married a junkie. Scotty drowned in a pool while his dad was getting high. i will never let Shayla be not defended. She is my brat.
I think it was four years ago — my baby girl wanted to watch horror films. It was way down in the summer. I did not sew a coat of many colors. I have maybe given my little one laughter. She finds horror films funny. She always laughs when some young girl heads toward the stairs.

When I order groceries for delivery, they seem to have more out of stock items or prompt a replacement? Maybe I shouldn’t have ordered on a Friday morning.

Just surprised me the food chain glitches are getting worse not better.

Fred Meyer didn’t have any organic potatoes yesterday.

      • elliesmom says:

My last grocery order was only missing eggs and Ellie’s favorite meatballs, and the only substitution was a brand difference. This time there was one brand of toilet available to check for the first time. I don’t need toilet paper yet, but I ordered some. I’m not sure why I can’t get eggs because every kind lists as available when I place the order every time.

        • DeniseVB says:

I’ve been ordering delivery safely, no meal plans. Not having the meat, threw all my other products into the fridge dumper. Today’s order came w/o substitutes. I was happy, but dh saw *Gluten Free* on his Cheerios, and ran out in his *hazement* suit to buy HIS Cheerios.. The idiot didn’t realize Cheerios has always been “Gluten” free. We have 6 boxes now.

          See. I want normal.

    • taw46 says:

Our restaurants and stores opened a few weeks ago, but were restricted to 25% occupancy. Monday that goes to 50%. The checkpoint at the top of the Keys will come down 6/1 and hotels will be allowed to open at 50% occupancy. Hair and nail salons opened two weeks ago. Elective surgery returned 2 weeks ago. Gyms can reopen Monday. All of these have to abide by some crazy restrictions. You aren’t allowed inside any business without a mask, and I believe they have to do temp checks in about another week. I think the only things left to open are bars and physical therapists.

I follow several local FB groups. Thank goodness there are sane people who realize we have to reopen to save the remaining businesses. We have had many that closed permanently. But we still have a large group of people who do not want the tourists allowed back in on 6/1. They say thousands of us will become infected. And if you dare post a different viewpoint, why then you want everyone to die. Interesting times ahead

      • somebody says:

Wow, we’re ahead of you. Stores restaurants, etc., are all open except bars. Exception to bars are outdoor decks, of which we have lots. Duh beach town. We do have bars that are not outside or only have a small area outside. If they serve food, which most do they are open. 50% occupancy and/or tables 6 feet apart. No such rules outside on decks, so everybody is crammed onto decks, pretty much wall to wall.

It’s been that way here since the 1st of May, we’ve had about a dozen new cases. 6 of those were people from out of state. We’ve had 3 new cases this week as of yesterday. Those are for the entire county, I haven’t checked zip codes as to where. We have 85,960 population in the county plus all the hotels are full or mostly full so add several thousand to that. Wednesday vacation rentals opened so within a week there will be thousands more.

Again, we’ve had more cases, but it’s not raging. Our sheriff pretty much leaves everyone alone. Hell they were part of a couple of parades. Masks are not required here, I know of no business scanning Temps. The only businesses I know of that aren’t open are two small bars that don’t serve food, the movie theaters, bowling alley, arcades and a couple of museums. Doctors, dentists, and elective procedures were opened the 1st of May.

BTW, I was down in JAX yesterday and met some people from a film crew. They happen to be involved in wrestling which has been filming here since April. Since May they allow socially distanced audiences.

They love it here. They told me that other production companies were rolling in and checking out locations where they might film. All the “bad press” JAX got over opening their beaches and their “cutting edge” decision to hold sporting events has put it on the map in certain circles. I laughed, Jacksonville….bold, cutting edge, progressive, daring 🤣🤣🤣

They had no idea that JAX was the first Hollywood. They used to film silent movies here back in the day. DeSantis is working hard to bring a lot of business here, sports and other events. Other states won’t stand for that long, but for as long as they do hopefully it will help Florida recoup some lost revenue. You’d think if the parks in Orlando aren’t going to open they’d use them for filming, they have studios there 🤔

Dan Gainor: Andrew Cuomo and brother Chris make a mockery of journalism, viewers and CNN

The Brothers Cuomo created yet another journalism outrage Wednesday night. Younger brother Chris, who anchors for CNN, once again interviewed his older, more successful brother. It wasn’t news.

In fact, it was so horrific that it made news. As reported by NewsBusters Chris whipped out giant swabs and asked his brother, “is it true that when you are having the test administered, you inhaled and the doctor’s finger went all the way up your nose and got stuck and it had to be released with a tool?”
