Welcome To The ‘Burbs

Some Antifa types tried to start trouble in a small bedroom community east of LA called Yucaipa. It did not go well.

Brandon Morse tried to warn them:

I want anyone in Antifa or rioting groups to know that it was estimated that there were 350 million guns in America…back in 2017. Also, that was the conservative estimate. The number is more likely double that, and with more being added to the count every day.

Events big and small cause gun sales to skyrocket. Former President Obama could just glance at a gun and it’d cause people to purchase one. Recently, gun sales shot up thanks to the pandemic due to the idea that supplies may run out and people would have to defend their homes, families, and possessions.

The question you have to ask yourself is whether or not the person on the other side of the door that you’re about to try to break down is one of those people who purchased a firearm. Every home you try to gain access to is a roll of the dice, and the odds don’t look good for you.

You may be able to get away with throwing rocks at windows, maybe even smash up a few vehicles on the street. You might bust up a few light posts and trash someone’s yard. That you’ll leave a mess and get away safely is probably true, provided you don’t run into an armed homeowner who doesn’t know the gun laws in his state well.

But rest assured, they’ll be watching your every move and the vast majority of people watching you will have a firearm in their hand, ready to use it. The moment you cross the threshold, your life is forfeit. You start trying to set someone’s home on fire, your life is forfeit. You begin attempting to bring harm to residents inside a home, your life is forfeit.

You’re far more likely to die in the suburbs than in the city in this situation. You may think moving the riots into neighborhoods is going to play out the same way. It’s not. You’re at a massive tactical disadvantage. The residents know these streets, the layout of their homes, and the defense capabilities of their residence and themselves.

You don’t. Each home will be different, each resident will have different approaches, and each home may have more than one or two gun wielders inside. The goal isn’t non-violent control of the situation now. It’s not about tear gas and high-pressure hoses now. Now it’s deadly force. You can’t just wash a bullet wound out and keep going. Even if they don’t have guns, they’re not going to stop hitting you with a heavy object or stop stabbing and slashing at you with cutlery until you’ve either been chased out or you stop moving. Understand. The chances of you dying are incredibly high.

Suburbanites have a lot more to lose and are going to be a lot more apt to go to extremes to make sure no harm befalls what they’re protecting. Too much rides on it. In the city, you were the pack of lions seeking whom you may devour. In the burbs, you’re the gazelle.

Those guys out in suburbia might be a little greyer and a little fatter, but they can still throw a punch and there are a lot of them. Some of them are hoping you’ll show up where they have the home-field advantage. They would like to hurt you and hurt you bad. They won’t run away because they have no place else to go.

So if they don’t shoot you dead they’ll knock the crap out of you just like your fathers should have done, and then they’ll sit on you until the cops come and take you away. And out in the ‘Burbs the jails don’t have revolving doors and the prosecutors and judges are Republicans. The people who elected them are the same people who beat you down and turned you over to the cops.

So go ahead, make their day.

I have neighbors who would enjoy sending looters out on stretchers, and they wouldn’t feel bad if it was a body bag. There are Vietnam Vet flags flying on the poles with their American flags all over the place. When I wanted to make a donation to Toys for Tots, they had a uniformed Marine come to my house to pick up the stuff. There are at least 6 guys who are police officers in other towns living in a half mile radius of me. There are not only a lot of guns in my neighborhood, the gun owners are highly trained in how to use them. There’s even a championship archer. The odds of the riots spilling out here are very slim, but if they come, they aren’t going to leave under their own steam.

how can it not be racist to publish an article and shout out : KILL ALL THE WHITES” but can be racist if an article is published and people should out “KILL ALL THE BLACKS?”
I have listened to this racism bs for years. There is racism in all colors and it is excused in every color but white. WHY??
In today’s American no one owns a slave. If the schools in some neighborhoods are bad then let the parents get involved and make the local government fix them. In most business today the guy who does the best job for that business gets ahead.
But most of all, when a person on any color works and studies and has the will to get ahead, stop trying to pull him down. Stop with the “uncle Tom” bs.

    just wondering

due to the covid-19 many states released the jail inmates some in jail for violent crimes. so they are wandering around loose. In NY if you get caught committing a crime, the cops arrest you the courts let you go without bail. Do they provide lockers for your stolen goods while you are waiting to go free?

In California is what I read. Taking a knee is a new thing. The commander of the guard unit should be questioned and the soldiers disciplined.

Tucker had a video of a random woman on the street that knelt and apologized for her “privilege”. It wouldn’t do for anyone to approach me with such a request, wouldn’t do at all. 😡

No violence, I would engage him. Point out HIS prejudice to assume that I grew up with some kind of privilege because of my skin color. He doesn’t know me or from whence I came. I’d ask him pointed questions like has he ever used an outhouse, etc. Ask him if he’s ever been to the Appalachia region, rural Alabama.

Don’t tell me I’m privileged. I was once called a “white princess” at a meeting. I ripped the guy that said it to shreds and pointed out his prejudice. I was younger and held back some, now I wouldn’t. The man publicly apologized to me and admitted he made assumptions. This guy was an absolute anti-white racist, quite militant at times, intimidated lots of people, but not me.

Took this off my hubby’s sister’s FB page.

From a friend—I wear a mask in public, not for me, but for YOU. I want you to know that I am educated enough to know that I could be asymptomatic and still give you the virus. No, I don’t “live in fear” of the virus, I just want to be a part of the solution, not the problem. I don’t feel like the “government is controlling me”, I feel like I’m being a contributing adult to society and I want to teach others the same. The world doesn’t revolve around me. It’s not all about me and my comfort. If we all could live with other people’s consideration in mind, this whole world would be a much better place. Wearing a mask doesn’t make me weak, scared, stupid or even “controlled”, it makes me considerate. When you think about how you look, or how uncomfortable it is or what others think of you, just imagine someone close to you. A father, a mother, grandparent, Aunt or uncle choking on a respirator. Then ask yourself if you could have sucked it up a little for them.

How about just shut up and do whatever you want? Go about your business, others will too… NOOOO. You gotta tell others what bad people they are…. yeah sure, not about YOU at all.

I have a FB friend I know in real life. She’s a retired biology professor from a small local college where the sciences are part of the general education requirements, but you can’t major in them. She and I have been having conversations on her FB page about the “science” behind all of the precautions for the Wuflu. The debates were lively, but friendly, and on her FB page. Her friends mostly ganged up on me, but I can take it. She and I were keeping it friendly and fun between us until I sensed the debate was taking a nasty turn so I backed off. She took it as I had ceded the debate. I didn’t argue with her over it because I knew in the end, reality would take over and decide who was right. When she posted more about masks and social distances, I just scrolled by because I’m a big girl and have a great deal of self-restraint. I need local friends more than I need to win a debate I know I’ll eventually win anyway. 😉
Then last night she made a post about our governor’s latest decree about masks and businesses opening. My friend thinks it’s moving too fast and too soon. Suddenly, all but one of the people who attacked me for wanting to kill grandma were going after my friend over her support for the rioters and the hypocrisy behind the “guidelines” for social distancing and wearing masks. Lots of comments about things like taking a bag of rocks and a molotov cocktail and heading to Supercuts to demand a haircut. Some of it was funny, but all of it had one thing in common. Except for one person who, to be honest, my friend has made paranoid about getting the virus, they all have discovered it’s been pee on their leg all along.

  37. Miranda says:

I hear we’re supposed to engage Black people on topics of race. Personally, I find it racist to assume random Black people want to talk about race with me or anyone else they don’t know. Or even with people they do know, since Black people are individuals, not a monolith. Certainly, I don’t want men to come up and start chatting to me about feminism.

My Y is running outside classes, and I happened to be in a spot next to two Black women during a kickboxing class. We talked about a) how hot it was and b) how we had no idea which side the teacher wanted us to lead with. No one discussed the riots and no one wanted to. Neither woman seemed desperate for me to engage on race with them.

I will stick to living the most ethical life possible and treating everyone courteously unless they start something. If that’s not enough for anyone, too bad.

Church buildings in California, Minnesota, New York, Kentucky, Texas, and Colorado were attacked. Many of the defaced or damaged churches were cathedrals. The Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Denver sustained permanent damage.

How convenient, the FBI found absolutely no evidence of antifa involvement, but right on cue last night they arrest 3 white supremacist with the “boogaloo” group.

What utter bullshit, have any of you ever heard of this supposed boogaloo group prior to this past week? Their name popped out on cue from several sources last week and now the heroic FBI has caught the taters 🙄🙄 Gee were they wearing MAGA hats and carrying bleach and ropes 🙄

Who names their group boogaloo? Does that sound like white supremacist? White supremacist are typically racist rednecks, skinheads and neo nazis. None of those seem like people that when coming up with a name for their newly formed group (because apparently the established groups aren’t cool enough?), would select boogaloo.

So now we have this avant-garde white supremacist group boogaloo. Are they disaffected disco fans? Do they parade around in white leisure suits and platform shows? Do they wear their shirts open with special members only gold chains? Do they sport mullets? Do they do the hustle? Are their meeting nights referred to as boogie nights?

I’m not buying this. I am not denying there are white supremacist groups, I’m just not buying this group. This has all the earmarks of a group created by the very same people that named an investigation using Rolling Stones lyrics. It’s too cute by half, convenient boogeyman……I got it, the boogaloos! I loved disco, me too Pete, how about you Andy?

    • somebody says:

We need meme warriors to meme the hell out of this. I’m serious this boogaloo group stinks to high heaven. The FBI knows nothing about antifa, but they nailed these fuckers in record time and it conveniently fits the right narrative. Not buying this.
