If you were hoping for a quick Trump victory on Election Night you better think again. Chris Wallace revealed the Democrats’ plan during the fake debate:
President Donald Trump Tuesday night refused to pledge that he won’t declare victory prematurely until the election is independently certified and all ballots counted while Democratic nominee Joe Biden pledged that he would wait.
The former vice president also predicted that Trump would accept the election results, too, regardless what he says.
The candidates were responding to a question at the end of Tuesday’s presidential debate posed by moderator Chris Wallace, who noted that it could take days or weeks to count all ballots because of the high volume of mail-in ballots expected during the coronavirus pandemic.
Wallace asked whether they would commit to urge their supporters to “stay calm during this extended period” and pledge to not claim victory early.
“I’m urging my supporters to go into the polls and watch very carefully because that’s what has to happen,” Trump said, declining to commit. “I hope it’s a fair election. If it’s a fair election, I’m 100% on board. But if I see tens of thousands of ballots being manipulated, I can’t go along with that.”
Since when do we have independent certification of our elections?? And who would be doing this independent certification? The United Nations? Politifact? Antifa?
Typically on election nights, the news media starts announcing results after the polls have officially closed. When there are enough ballots counted to verify the information obtained thru exit polls the networks begin to project winners. When one candidate is predicted to win enough states to win the Electoral College vote, a nationwide winner is declared. At some point one candidate concedes and the other declares victory.
On a few occasions, most notably the elections of 1800, 1876, and 2000, the winner was not determined until weeks after the election.
In November 2000 the networks initially called Florida for Gore, then later said that Florida was “too close to call.” Ultimately, George W. Bush was officially named as the winner in Florida, thereby winning the presidency.
That the Democrats plan to cheat next month is an open secret. We have already been told that the apparent winner on Election Night may end up losing as additional uncounted ballots for the Democrat candidate are discovered in car trunks, warehouses, and graveyards. Until they know how many votes Trump gets the Democrats won’t know how many more votes they have to dig up to steal the election.
The problem for the Democrats is that Trump and his supporters may not sit quietly and watch as his landslide victory on Election Night in early November is slowly turned into a narrow Biden victory in mid-December. That is why it is critical that Trump be prevented from tweeting a declaration of victory. Don’t be surprised when he is banned from Twitter.
I expect that all the networks (including Fox News) will agree on Election Night that the race is too close to call. Social media will censor any non-network voices that try to say that Trump won and/or the Democrats cheated. Pro-Democrat voices will be less restrained.
Public opinion polls will be allowed past the social media filters as long as they don’t show that people think Trump won.
If the Democrats can steal this election they will. They are certainly gonna try, the question is whether they will get away with it.
My advice: Don’t stay up late on the night of November 3rd. Get plenty of rest because on November 4th the real battle will start. I hope the media realizes that if they ever get the civil war they keep pushing for that a press pass will become an enemy uniform.
