How cool…I just drove past a couple of houses down the street. They were gloriously decked out for Halloween. I read that people were spending more on decorating for the holiday this year because of the dollars they didn’t spend on vacations and parties, and whatever else they gave up for COVID. (sorta like Lent, but longer) I think I’ll take Calamity for a drive Tuesday after school so she can see the wonderfully lighted trees and witches and goblins that are all over my neighborhood.
I need to go into town sometime this week to look at decorations. They always have great ones down here for holidays, and they really go all out for Halloween.

The White House decorations are marvelous. There were reports that some areas of the country sold out of pumpkins as they had anticipated lower sales than usual and it turned out people are going full tilt Halloween. They have been plentiful here but I have noticed a lot of people with multiples in their carts. And I have also noticed the Halloween and fall themed and flavored bakery goods are selling out. The Great Pumpkin 🎃May indeed be rising from his patch this year. Linus will be thrilled.
I don’t know if you have access to Netflix or not. I was turning it on when the grandkids are here and turning it off when they went home. When my son-in-law figured that out, he gave me the login to their netflix. I saw on another blog Netflix has done a remake of “Rebecca” starring Lily James. I don’t don’t usually go for remakes, but I wanted an escape from the election today. They did a nice job. It’s more gothic romance and less Hitchcock, but closer to the book.

I feel good and normal, just some balance issues which my shiny new walker is helping me out with. Welcome home! I have to tell you . . . I loved, loved, loved my shiny red walker with a seat and a basket. It helped me to walk to the grocery store, make purchases and then bring them home! We had a lovely relationship for a several weeks of summer that year.
I hope your Walker is just as good to you as mine was to me. ❣️

Yea! I’m happy you are home again. I had a walker for two months after I broke my ankle and I got real used to it. Get the kind with the seat as you can use it as a shelf to carry things and also go further because when you get tired you have your own seat.
