Cocaine Mitch Saves America

We do have some good news to report. It looks like the GOP will keep the Senate. That means that Mitch McConnell will be Senate Majority Leader next term. And that means the Democrats can take their plans to pack the Supreme Court and pack them in Chuck Schemer’s tailpiece. Their scheme to add two more Democratic states can be pureed in a blender and pumped up Nancy Pelosi’s fuggedaboutit. (Would that be an enema of the state?)

And that means that America as we know it won’t end this year.

That is good news! But I guess what is bothering me, is the blatant attempt to steal a presidential election out from under the American people. Hopefully, thanks to Our Fighting President, Cocaine Mitch, and the Supreme Court, the perpetrators may not get away with it.

    • Myiq2xu says:

No SCOTUS packing is HUGE. You would think the Donkeys would learn from the filibuster follies. or from Bushobama.

Karl “Turdblossom” Rove bragged about a “Permanent GOP majority” when the GOP had all three branches, By 2006 they lost both houses of Congress and in 2008 they got crushed by the Obama wave/.

That made the Democrats cocky. In 2010 they lost Congress.

      • swanspirit says:

The fact that SCOTUS packing is off the table IS huge! It’s the greatest thing that has happened that has given me the most reassurance out of everything in this election.
But watching the Dims attempt to steal this election, as openly as a looter steals a big screen TV, walks out of the store, and puts it in his minivan, has given me some concerns.
I don’t believe dims are capable of learning. They are like cockroaches, if you don’t keep them out, they just keep coming.

The Democrats spent so much money and pushed narratives so hard they just can’t fathom that they didn’t win. They are heavy into denial and are prone to just carrying on with the narrative. Someone is going to have to jam reality up their asses and down their throats. They truly are the enemy of the people and the country.

It’s a beautiful day here. I just got back from walking Ellie. While I was walking, I started thinking about the Bush vs. Gore election. I don’t remember caring very much about which way things turned out. I remember a lot of jokes about “hanging Chad” in our house. After that election our small town switched from the punch card method of voting to the Scantron bubble sheets. My dad died in December of that year so I was probably pre-occupied with him in the days after the election. The thing is I think I was pretty sure the issues in Florida were not an attempt by one party or the other to steal the election. I voted using the same method, and there was certainly room for error based on the poor design of the system.

This time I have no doubt there’s a least a sizable part of this debacle that’s nefarious. Do I think people were deliberately given the wrong pens? Most bubble sheet readers will read any dark mark so I’m not sure what’s wrong, but even if it was deliberate, those ballots can be counted by hand so nothing has been lost. I’d chalk that one up to a mistake. Do I think some people sent in “naked ballots” because they’re incapable of following the directions? Yes, I do, but those ballots cannot be attributed to a registered voter so they need to be tossed. If you need help figuring out how to do a mail in ballot, there were a lot of PSAs on TV with naked celebrities telling people they needed both envelopes. If you vote by mail, the time it takes your ballot to arrive at its destination needs to be figured into when you mail it. That’s what I was doing for my state senator. The answer in RI is you need to leave yourself a week. But you can hand carry your mail in ballot into a polling place if you procrastinate. We don’t need to throw our whole election into disarray because some people are time challenged. By the time the polls close your ballot needs to have arrived. There are ways to close up places where fraud happens without draconian rules.

    • lateblum says:

I read somewhere online, that the sharpie ink bled through to the other side of the ballot making reading the ballot difficult. It was my understanding from this report, that those ballots were double sided. I may have misunderstood, though.
I vote in Illinois. My town uses a touch screen voting machine so I don’t need a pens. But we used to have the kind of ballots that required a pen to darken the circles indicating voting preference. I don’t remember if those ballots were double sided. But I suppose if ink bled through to the back side, it might have rendered the ballots unreadable.

      • elliesmom says:

If a ballot is two-sided, marks bleeding through would confuse the optical scanner, but a human reading the ballot would see black dots that line up with bubbles on the side written on, and the black dots that bled through that wouldn’t. The odds a two-sided ballot would have bubbles that line up with bubbles on the other side are very, very slim. I’ve graded thousands of exams by using an optical reader. Stray marks drive the readers crazy, but a human being can tell the difference between a filled in bubble and a stray mark immediately. It would be laborious to count the ballots by hand if there are a lot of offices being voted on, but there shouldn’t be much to challenge. When we used bubble sheets and a scanner to give an exam, we had the kids use pencils to mark up the sheets so they could change an answer, but on a ballot, you’d want a permanent mark. I’ve used a felt-tipped pen on a bubble sheet with no issue.

New York uses the Scantrons. The advantage is that if there is a recount, there’s something for people to read and audit. With the touch screen, they just hit a button and “Yep, it says the same thing.”

Repost from old thread I accidentally posted on:

I just spent half an hour theorizing about Wisconsin (having grown up in Michigan/Minnesota/Wisconsin) and thought I would put my thoughts here, in addition to the French friend I am probably boring to death:

What to make of the rumor going around that Wisconsin had more votes cast than registered voters? I checked it out on Snopes, which obviously I don’t trust , but their sources are interesting:

    https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/wisconsin-more-votes-than-voters/

Quote from Snopes: “According to the Wisconsin Election Commission, the “State of Wisconsin had 3,684,726 active registered voters on November 1, 2020.” It’s unclear where the “3,239,920” number shown in the above-displayed tweet comes from. As of this writing, The New York Times reports that a total of “3,296,836” votes have been cast in Wisconsin. In either case, the number of votes counted does not exceed the number of registered voters.”

BACK TO ME: So it’s 3.684 million registered voters and 3.296 million actual votes. That’s a turnout of almost 89.5%. In American politics—even in a hotly contested national Presidential election, that seems fishy. According to Wikipedia, 2016 turnout nationwide was 59.2%, 2012 turnout was 54.9%, 2008 was 57.1%–there hasn’t been an election with a national turnout of more than 80% since 1860, ie THE CIVIL WAR.

(I think what Wisconsin will say is that they had a large group of people who registered to vote WHILE THEY WERE AT THE POLLS.)

In comparison, in 2008—Obama’s historic victory, with the largest voter turnout I can ever remember—only 2.983 million votes were cast (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2008_United_States_presidential_election_in_Wisconsin).
I know people care a lot about this election, but I just don’t think that it is as important and historic as electing America’s first African-American president was back in 2008. More than 300,000 more people voted this time than in 2008? According to the US census bureau, Wisconsin’s population has grown by only about 150,000 people during that time period, and of course, not everybody registers to vote, kids can’t register to vote, non-citizens can’t register to vote, etc.

I am not an election-law expert, but something seems strange in Wisconsin.

    • Woke Lola says:

This all seems fishy. The fact that they rolling and staggering their timed announcements because they’ve colluded to make sure Joe beats Trump. Every time another state announces an additional pause–as Nevada just did for a full 24 hours for no reason whatsoever–you can bet it’s because Trump’s numbers are going to make their plan need more cheating to win than they imagined. They are staggering it to pick up what they need where they can manufacture fake ballots.

Guys, I’m going Galt if Biden is successful in cheating to a win. Withdrawing entirely. Look for me on the bookshelves at Barnes & Nobles. I won’t be saying bye, either.

      • jadzia1971 says:

My additional, possibly crazypants theory, about fraud in Wisconsin is somewhat conspiratorial. You know what is within spitting distance of Wisconsin? The Chicago political machine. The MSM/the left had this all planned last night. Do not call states for Trump, call for Biden when 0% ballots have been counted. Let Biden always be in the lead with electoral votes, Trump never. The narrative is, Biden was winning all along, Trump never. So when they call the election for Biden and Trump challenges, everyone will say Trump is a sore loser. He can’t accept that he lost, he was never winning.

If this stands, with so much question of fraud being reported in several states, I don’t know if I will want to vote ever again. I have been a follower of politics since I was in high school, a faithful voter in all elections, not just Presidential ones. I won’t use the word “never”, circumstances can change. But for right now, I can’t see voting again. What’s the point?

I hear you, same for me. I won’t say never, I’m sure I’ll vote for DeSantis, but I’m pretty fed up. I’m almost 60, I’ll survive it’s my children and grandchildren I worry about. As a nation we are headed for one party rule, maybe the senate holds, but for how long? The left has perfected their banana republic voting and they control the population centers. Within a cycle or two we’ll be under one party rule nationwide. Oh sure there will still be some R’s in congress, but the D’s play for keeps so they will be even more impotent than they are now. Even if Trump manages to pull out a win, it’s clear the majority in this nation want a more socialist nation.

The only way to save the republic is on a local and state level, pushing for election reform. Too many states are too far gone. I am proud of Florida, we’ve been the butt of jokes since 2000. We’re the 3rd most populace state and yet we counted all our votes last night. Not only that, but we had a very open and transparent election. It has taken several cycles of fine tuning the laws and the efforts here have been bipartisan. Is it perfect? Probably not, but I think we did a damn fine job. The same kind of reforms are needed in many states, but I don’t see that happening.

Satement from the Trump Campaign — Here is where we stand:
    ✅ ARIZONA
✔️ Facebook & Twitter have rightly removed Arizona from Biden’s electorate column on their official election map(s) and CNN never called it.
✔️ Countless heavily Republican remain in play and will break in Trump’s favor.
✔️ Maricopa County overnight was a pickup of +50,000 votes for Trump.
✔️ Biden lead is now 90k with 520k ballots remaining.
✔️ We expect to win 70% of these ballots.
✔️ We are now confident we will now win AZ by 30,000 votes.
    ✅ GEORGIA
✔️ President Trump has built an insurmountable lead of over 100,000 votes that the Democrats cannot beat. Period.
    ✅ NORTH CAROLINA
✔️ President Trump has built an insurmountable lead of over 76,000 votes that the Democrats cannot beat. Period.
    ✅ WISCONSIN
✔️ President Trump has formally petitioned for a state recount, as the current results fall within the 1% legal margin of error.
✔️ Several outlying counties are leaning heavily Republican, including Kenosha, Green Bay, Pierce & Richland.
    ✅ MICHIGAN
✔️ President Trump believes we will win this state outright, as several outlying GOP counties have yet to be counted & we will sue to stop any declaration of a winner until they are duly amended.
    ✅ PENNSYLVANIA
✔️ Trump is up in PA by nearly 700,000 votes with over 3/4 of the votes tallied.
✔️ 1.5 million mail-in ballots remain outstanding, along with 5 heavily Republican leaning counties.
✔️ Even if 95% of the mail-in ballots go to Biden, Trump still wins the state by over 40,000 votes.
✔️ The campaign will be making a public statement about evidence of ballot fraud shortly.
    ✅ NEVADA
✔️ Late breaking mail gets Trump a win by a margin of over 5,500 votes.
Lastly, anyone who thinks that a 270 declaration in the next 24 hours by the mainstream media for a specific candidate to deliberately sway public opinion is going to derail our determination to protect the legal integrity of this election – or deter us from its ultimate victory – is not only naive, but hypocritical.
After all, we’re still waiting for a “peaceful transfer of power” from 2016.

    MINI-THREAD

I just had someone chide me for now being a eunuch like he (it) is.
Probably thinks I’m too angry about the attempted theft of the reelection of @realDonaldTrump.
There is such a thing a JUSTIFIED anger.
Let me explain to the eunuchs why I’m angry.
We were just the victims of one of the greatest crimes in American history.
Only two things saved us from the Democrats pulling it off.
    1. It was so amateurishly obvious that it can be rectified pretty easily.
    2. Donald Trump is the president to whom it happened.
    Any other Republican would’ve capitulated.
And then he would’ve said we need to come together with the criminals.
See, this is how weak and deranged Americans have become.
FIGHTING a crime is wrong. We’re supposed to lie down and take it.
This was an ACT OF WAR.
It was the mass rape of every single Trump supporter in the country.
That means it can’t be allowed to stand.
THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED IN THE ENTIRE HISTORY OF THE COUNTRY.
    Not on this scale.
Democrats have admitted that they want to live in squalor, so we can write them off.
PLUS, they all support stealing a national election.
So after Trump RE-WINS the election the way he rebuilt the economy, we have to change the laws.
The states must never be allowed to voter in national elections without federal supervision.
When you misuse something, it gets taken away.
We have to make sure this never happens again.
The Democrat Congress is lawless, their failed presidential candidate is lawless, AND.
    Democrat voters keep reelecting them.
Baltimore chose to keep on being a rat-infested shithole.
These people simply don’t share our values.
So forget coming together with them.
Punish them and then contain them.
But write them off as people.
Maybe someday in the distant future they’ll be good citizens, but not in our lifetimes.
So we need to pass new laws to prevent them from stealing national elections, and we need to guard the electoral college with our lives.
In the meantime, if you’re not angry, there’s something wrong with you.
Keep your eunuchoidal ideas to to yourself.
    I still have functioning testicles.
And I’m not going to do anything crazy.
Unlike YOU, I can control my rage.
And you have NO IDEA what rage is.
When you tell me to not be angry, you’re telling me that YOU can’t control your own anger.
    I’m not five years old.
But I also know when anger is appropriate.
It’s time to be REALLY ANGRY.
I’m letting Trump handle this. He was ready for it.
You may not believe it now–believe you can’t think clearly–but this is all very good for Trump.
When it’s over, all his enemies will be dead in the water.
They have no leg to stand on.
People were getting 20 years in prison for screwing around with 200 votes.
The people who perpetrated the fraud are looking at 5000 years in prison.
That’s one of the reasons it won’t stand.
    TRUMP HAD EVERYTHING UNDER SURVEILLANCE.
We may never have that confirmed, but TRUMP WAS READY.
So he’ll be sworn in for his second term.
Again, this was an act of war.
Everything the Democrats did in Trump’s first term–as illegal as it all was–is nothing compared to this.
So after Trump fixes this mess, he’s going to bring down the entire party.
    He has to.
    It’s an enemy state actor.
    Like Red China.
I’m still angry over 9/11, and now I’ll be forever angry over 11/3.
This was as much an attack on our country as the 9/11 attack.
The eunuchs can avert their eyes.
I’m going to LOVE the comeuppance.
    I’ll leave you with this.
    It cracked me up.

    END

AZ released numbers this morning at 2:30am EST which added numbers to Trump, Biden still leading. Now they are saying they won’t release numbers again until tonight. WTF.

The penalty for voter fraud needs to be significantly increased.
We should also be able to do a class action suit. Voter fraud is theft from every legitimate voter.
    I am numb with anger.

Jack is doing his part for the commie left. He is censoring so many of the President’s tweets. You can’t comment, share, or retweet some of them. They are preventing him from telling the citizens what his campaign is doing in these contested states. This was all coordinated between the Dems, big Tech and the media. No one will ever convince me otherwise.

They are also censoring other people, Sean Davis being one. Some of his tweets are the same, you can’t retweet or share.

Jack started this months ago by banning conservative voices. It makes the steal easier if there is no one left to report it.

I’m nothing on Twatter and most of my RTs for Sean POTUS and others as well as mine have been censored as well. F*ck that low life flea liced infested jack.

That’s why he was so casual when before congress. He didn’t give two 💩💩 .The plan was proceeding on schedule. He didn’t care if Ted Cruz yelled at him. And if Biden gets in, goddess forbid, Twitter will go on as is.

I agree. But why didn’t they fix the Senate and House? Or are they in the process of doing just that?

      • taw46 says:

Someone said last night that they did not have that many Senate races in the swing states. I don’t know, I haven’t looked it up. Maybe they were too confident they would get the Sen/House races legally. Or they were completely focused on getting rid of the President. Who knows?

Maybe someone can put up an open thread? This one is getting funky on my iPhone. Thanks!

Imagine that, GA found more ballots.

    • taw46 says:

At 6;20 this morning, the SOS stated on live tv that there were 25,000 ballots left to be counted and should be done by noon today.

As of 6:20 a.m.,18,540 votes separate Trump and Biden according to SOS website: http://2wsb.tv/350ZvhX

Now all of a sudden, we have another 50-75,000 ballots, per the SOS.
