This Guy Is My Spirit Animal

I miss the good old days of the blogosphere. Remember when print and television news had very little presence on the Intertubes? Remember when the internet was virtually ad-free, except for porn? Remember when comment threads were unmoderated? Remember when bloggers bragged, “We say ‘fuck’ a lot.”

Best of all: Everything was free!

My favorite thing about the Dodge City Days of the internet was the occasional opportunity to provide immediate and unfiltered feedback to celebrities, politicians, and members of the media priesthood. Turns out they were not used to being called out for their dumbassery and douchebaggyness.

If the social media giants were conservative Republicans the Democrats would have no problems recognizing the existential threat that Big Tech is to freedom.

About Dr. Myiq2xu

Unless President Donald J. Trump pulls a hat out of a rabbit real soon, on 1/21/21 I will wake up in a socialist banana republic.

Word is that Shillery for Defense Secretary & Susan Rice for AG. Crime does pay. Going to need a lot of shovels & brooms to bury & sweep under the rug the evidence of the Clinton / Obama / Biden crime families. Guess Hunter will be Treasury Secretary.

They want Trump prosecuted in NY & to be Epsteined in prison.

    • Dora says:

Guess Hunter will be Treasury Secretary.

I heard Pocahantis wants that position.

      • Gram Krakka says:

        Hunter comment is snark.

If cocaine Mitch is Senate majority leader how could Rs approve Shillery & Rice for cabinet positions? Would seem to provide opening to grill them about Obama admin. Would be interesting hearings. Would “Pierre” Mittens, Cowardalasky & Collins vote with Ds?

        • elliesmom says:

The Republicans needed to get to 53 senate seats with Pence as VP as a minimum to declaw Collins, Murkowsky, and Romney. Even with the two Georgia seats in their column and Pence as VP, those three have McConnell by the short hairs. If Trump prevails, he needs to find a position in his administration prestigious enough to make Romney’s ego take it but benign enough he really can’t do much. Romney is the best one to remove from the Senate because Utah has a Republican governor, and an open Senate seat is filled by gubernatorial appointment.

          • 1539days says:

He should have just made Romney Secretary of State in 2017 and then fired him a few months later.

          • Constance says:

It looks like Republicans have no plan for a massive health plan so appoint Romney to Health plan development and then ignore what he comes up with.

    • Constance says:

Why would Hillary want a job at all? She is 73. If she played her cards right she could be the grande dame of the Democrats. But of course there is the part of the party who strongly dislikes her because she ran such a lazy out of touch campaign and caused the loss of the party’s power. I really thought Susan Rice would be VP. She will clearly mouth any party BS that is put in front of her and doesn’t have the hoochie vibe that Kamala brings and uses.

      • elliesmom says:

I think the hoochie vibe was a requirement to get chosen.

        • helenk3 says:

harris and jill will have a lot to talk about comparing notes on adultry

        • Constance says:

You’re probably right. But it was a mistake. What is it with men? They seem to mistake hoochie vibe for likeable. What kind of a dumbass would pick a hoochie for a “leader among women” which is what they clearly think she is? They do it repeatedly even though it always fails. FIGURE IT OUT! Men can NOT pick a leader among women.

          • elliesmom says:

They weren’t looking for a woman who could attract other women. The Democrats already have the women who will vote for any woman candidate as long as she’s a Democrat, and that’s pretty much all of the women who vote Democrat. They weren’t bleeding women from their party. They were bleeding black men. They had already passed over all of their potential candidates who were black men. Those of us who did GOTV for Hillary already know what kind of response you get from most black men when the candidate is an older white woman. And “older” doesn’t have to be all that old. When any woman will do with the women, it becomes what woman will get you men’s votes, and especially the black male vote, from the short list of women you’ve assembled. You can cross off Elizabeth Warren immediately.

      • Gram Krakka says:

Heard this on FBN Marie’s show this AM. Recorded so will look later to see who said this.

    • Miranda says:

If they put Hillary in as Defense, positions 1-5 better watch their backs.

      • Mt.Laurel says:

So should every other 1-5 in most any country other than the new real bosses in China and maybe the money funnels in the Ukraine. Although i am sure Putin has his own counter scheme ready and waiting and he would not hesitate to take out all of them like do many ducks at sharp shooting booth the county fair.

    • Constance says:

Last night on Parler I did read that there is a huge group of Trump loyalists pouring over data and code. That’s great because with the crowd sourcing they can work faster and bounce anything they do find off of each other to decipher meaning. As far as anything being done about whatever they find (and I do believe there is plenty there if you only look), I look around me and there is crime and graft everywhere. No one in power gives a shit. It is encouraging that Trump is purging the DOD and Pentagon. That could be about clearing the way for martial law, if needed, because of law enforcement against election criminals or it could be about getting all the troops home by Christmas which the pack of apparatchiks he fired had no intention of doing. Maybe we will get lucky and it will be both.

      • Woke Lola says:

DOD / Pentagon clearing out could also be about colluders in the military ranks that have coordinated with Biden on this coup attempt.

        • Constance says:

Ahhhh-ha! I didn’t even think of that. Because I am honest and respect our military it never occurred to me there would be plotters. How naive can I get.

          • Mt.Laurel says:

BO got rid of those who felt the military who put country and service first. And promoted those who licked his butt.

  3. Myiq2xu says:

Trump dragging Fox News is awesome.

    • Constance says:

Weekend FOX had been anti Trump for a year. I had to stop watching long ago.

      • taw46 says:

I quit watching daytime/weekend FNC long ago. Just watched The Five and the 3 nighttime shows.

      • elliesmom says:

Except for Tucker Carlson, I hadn’t been watching Fox. Then I started eating meals alone, and I started watching the earliest hour of Fox and Friends over breakfast and Outnumbered at lunch. I like Jesse Watters and Greg Gutfeld on the weekend sometimes so I occasionally turn on the Five. I don’t know much about the other folks on Fox. I’m still tuning into Tucker. He hasn’t disappointed. I hung around for Hannity this week. The two of them are feeling the way I do. Trump won. There was massive fraud that needs to exposed. But we can’t completely ignore there’s a possibility Biden will be POTUS come January.

I haven’t watched any other Fox shows since the election. I don’t think I could stomach Juan Williams. Tucker Carlson had shows on both CNN and MSNBC so he should be open to moving. He’s a huge cash cow for Fox, and he would probably be too expensive for OAN or Newsmax to pick up unless we increase their revenues. Which one has been getting more of Fox’s traffic?

        • Somebody says:

Newsmax supposedly according to ratings. EM your FNC viewing mirrors mine, except F&F. I’m usually up earlier, they come on when I’m headed to the bus stop. I would usually watch F&F first that comes on before F&F, but about 5:45 switch to cartoons for the grandkids, then turn it off as I headed to bus and turn it on again for Outnumbered.

I did “watch” Hannity, if you want to call it that. Hannity is my personal ambien. The longer his opening monologue the better, his droning put me right to sleep☺ If I was late to bed and he had moved on to guests it was much harder to drift off because the guests would draw my attention.

My understanding is Hannity is a super nice guy and very patriotic. I have nothing against him, he just lulls me to sleep. Thankfully I’ll never meet him in person or that could prove embarrassing.

We opted not to watch election night coverage on FNC, because I just had a feeling. We watched OANN. Our TV’s have not been on FNC since the day before the election.

This is totally off-topic. Crash is learning how to make bar graphs. Her teacher gave them a list of information they could collect and create a graph. One of the choices was to ask family and friends, “What is your favorite app for your phone?” I answered, “the one that lets me send and receive phone calls”. It has started a conversation about whether making phone calls is a phone app. I say it is. Her teacher says it isn’t. (It’s a friendly disagreement meant to start a conversation for the kids.) What do you say?

    • Anthony says:

Tell Crash’s teacher that her Uncle Trouble from NYC said its an app.

    • taw46 says:

Everything on the iPhone is an app, no?

    • DandyTIger says:

It is an app, both technically and functionally. It uses a cell radio and works with cell telephone protocols to work like a telephone. But it’s an app. Just like a conference calling app is an app. They all handle voice and/or video for communication. They use built in frameworks and hardware. No difference. The teacher is fooled by the idea that it is a phone first, and an internet computer with apps second. Nope, it’s a computer with various hardware that makes it connect to the outside, with various apps to make use of that hardware. If your laptop has a cell radio in it, which some do, it can work as the same sort of stand-alone phone as a smartphone. And I’d guess the teacher wouldn’t call those phones and their use not via an app. Don’t be fooled because there is the word “phone” in the name.

      • elliesmom says:

I don’t use my cellphone for much other than a phone. I get text messages from people who don’t know I don’t keep my phone on my person all the time, and then they get mad because I don’t respond right away. It’s a smartphone with a lot of bells and whistles, but I can type pretty fast on a real keyboard, and I find a phone frustrating to type on. I have a really nice DSLR with a bucketload of fancy lenses. If I’m out for a walk with Ellie and something unexpected pops up, I might take a photo with my phone, but if I’m going out to take pictures, I take a camera with me, My car has GPS built in. My calendar is a shared file.

When my granddaughter asked me about my favorite app, I equated “favorite” with the one I use the most. When her teacher questioned whether the ability to make a phone call was an app, the techie part of me kicked in. But the kids were having fun trying to figure out what’s an app and what’s not, and I was having fun being a “Zoom guest”. She’s in the school where I used to teach, and I still know most of the teachers. I passed your comment onto them. Thanks!

    • 1539days says:

My company switched from desk phones to Zoom last year (pre-COVID, no one knew what Zoom was). We have phone number, but almost none of us is allowed to have a physical phone. Using the “soft phone” is a lot like using a cell phone. The app runs in Windows, you can dial using the mouse or by pressing the buttons if you have a touch screen notebook. It has a telephone keypad, takes voicemail and uses SMS.
Zoom is also a cell phone app. When it is running, you can make and receive calls. So, there are apps that are phones that can be installed on your phone.

    • Mt.Laurel says:

My emergency cell flip phone is a phone with a tiny camera. But even my very old (by current standards) iphone 3G uses an app to make calls.

I enjoyed Razor Fist’s rant, but I’m still ready to bark at the moon🤪 It’s not just the election, as if that’s not bad enough. My life is sort of tearing at the seams right now from a variety of angles.

The book is not yet closed on 2020 tragically. So far it’s not the worst year I’ve ever had, but it’s very competitive and trying its damndest to win the title.

      • Miranda says:

I’m sorry. I hope things get better at least on personal level for you.

        • Somebody says:

Thanks Miranda, things are at least in one area. My dog ate for the first time in 3 days and she’s moving around a little bit, not much but some. She’s still intermittently screaming in pain or possessed by demons?

We have no idea what is wrong with her despite multiple trips to the vet and emergency animal clinic. She woke us up at 3am yelping. We’ve spent a fortune in tests, all show normal. Yet there is clearly something wrong.

They finally started her on antibiotics, she had a shot yesterday, along with fluids as she was slightly dehydrated. Finally just now she ate a little bit of special prescription food for intestinal upset. Fingers crossed she holds it down. I got her to eat a very small less than human bite size piece of chicken yesterday and 30 minutes later it came back up. Yet she’s still doing her bathroom business and there is no indication of a blockage.

It’s crazy, but just in the past couple of hours she seems to be doing ever so slightly better. So maybe it’s a weird infection and the antibiotics are kicking in???

Frustrated nobody can figure out what the issue is, but grateful she seems to be improving. I’ll take it! Unfortunately there are other issues here, but I’ll just continue to take each day one at a time. Hoping for the best but preparing for the worst. That’s all any of us can do.

        • Somebody says:

❤ I’m not giving up, just frustrated with the medical/insurance bureaucracy. Covid and covid precautions have slowed things down considerably. It’s ridiculous the policies and the sparsity of appointments in the name of covid precautions.

That’s why I want to bark at the moon. All these precautions for a virus with a 99% or better survival are slowing down testing, appointments and treatment for real issues people have, unless it’s a full blown emergency. I just want to scream “Can I trade for a case of wuflu?”. No meds, nothing, I’ll just go home and deal with it myself if I can made a trade🙄 I mean thanks for protecting me and all, but this slow fucking crawl for something serious is NOT the norm.

I’ve walked in this world before and I’m telling you things are NOT like they used to be. It’s like we’ve moved into some kind of modified slow socialized medicine without anyone noticing. You know like the kind we used to make fun of.

All in all the news is fairly positive, still many unanswered questions, but tilting toward positive. The slow walk has hubby reassured, it helps him stay in his comfort zone which is denial. He takes comfort in the fact that I’m not being rushed down the halls of the hospital, we’ve been there done that with our daughter. Hopefully he’s right and I’m just dealing in raw emotion.

***Crawdad Hole decoder, I have been diagnosed with cancer. A very rare, but very survivable cancer if caught early enough. I’m on a slow walk to figure out that latter part now. Most signs point to early. At some point I’m headed to OR for surgery, sometime mid to late December it appears. Hopefully the surgery is “minimal” doesn’t really meet my definition but I’m a bit picky😏 It could be life altering. Silly me I’d kind of like to know, at this point it appears I’ll just wake up in the hospital and find out🥺

I’d like at least a 2nd opinion, not sure that’s gonna happen. Got blown off by Mayo yesterday unless they themselves do all the tests and they they’ll determine if I’m worthy of their wisdom🙄 Basically I was told they don’t believe me, like I have Munchausen or something AND I got a major University involved in the punk🙄 So that’s a big part of why I was crabby yesterday. Oh and speaking of Mayo, since they’re my primary they must clear me for surgery, but they can’t fit me in until mid-December and then from there they’ll determine what tests I need to get clearance. But, but, but they are keeping their patient load low to protect everyone from covid. I’m so comforted🙄

I guess what I really need is a prescription for fuckitall. I wonder if my pharmacy carries that? It’s great to be in a city with several leading medical centers until said centers go prima donna with a side of full on retard.

Not that I’m bitter about any of it.

          • Mothy67 says:

            Prayers and hugs.

          • Somebody says:

Thanks Tim, I’ll be OK, I’m a tough old bitch! I’d just prefer to know what I’m dealing with here. I’m seriously frustrated with the slow walk. I’m serious our medical systems are crawling due to covid, NOT due to covid treatment, due to covid precautions.

A benign example, the eye doctor. My entire family had eye appointments. We had to book them way out in order to all get appointments on the same day. Not the same time, the same day, spaced out from morning to early afternoon. All morning we’re the only patients. After each of us go through this machine or that. They have this whole disinfection routine which slows everything down. I go back, return to waiting room 30 minutes later hubby finally goes back. We were there over half a day, just the 3 of us.

Why do they need to disinfect to protect my husband from me? We sleep in the same bed, live in the same house. I pointed this out, the staff talked to the doctor and he comes unglued. The protocols will NOT be broken🙄

Multiply that across the system, it’s insane. That’s without going into how front line doctors have been removed from treating their patients for a freaking virus. If you’re sick with anything, off to the hospital with you, you’re doctor will not see you. How fucked up is that? My BIL spent all day at the ER to find out he has a UTI. His Mayo doctor would not see him, lest he had the covid cooties. Mayo clinic doctors refusing to see their patients, all day everyday. Part of why I’m where I am and why I sought help elsewhere. But that system is no bed of roses and has many similar policies.

Another, my son has 3 kids. He can go in with younger two, but not oldest? Fuck you, I don’t think so. He canceled her check up. He had to take the other two 1 at a time and I watched their siblings.

These kinds of things are happening throughout our medical system because of a virus with 99% or better survivability, WTF?

          • lateblum says:

I was on a local Seattle blog last night and everyone, every single person, was disgusted with our local government. So I said let’s ask for a recount of the last election, no one apparently supports these people and yet they keep winning. Maybe it’s fraud. OMG! A couple of Leftists came on and started insulting me but everyone else heard me and I think some light bulbs went on. We need to recount the whole country.

I find it impossible to believe that Conor Lamb beat Sean Parenell. The part of the district near me seemed about 50/50 as far as signs go, but the economy in most of that district is highly dependent on fracking and it has been booming. Lamb voted 100% with nazi pelosi. I am not buying it. Even Shay’s mother who had been a bernout voted Trump and Parnell.

It’s always a woman’s fault. Adam never would have tried the apple if Eve hadn’t tempted him because without women around men are virtuous. Check out any prision. Take women out of society and everything is perfect. The rest is projection. The Republicans get blamed for all of the evils the Democrats embrace. So Sarah Palin is a twofer. The upside is when Obama’s doorstop hits the bookstores, we’ll probably be seeing more of Palin on the talk show circuit. It might even jumpstart her political career again.

“It’s always a woman’s fault”. I believe that is the reason the porky governor of IL has named all women to be spox for his “Covid response team”. First off he is a lazy, hateful oaf who doesn’t want to take responsibility for any decision unless he can blame someone else. Second, he wants to be re-elected and to do that he needs the female vote. Third, he wants to be seen as “woke”. In this state, Chicago is the real state capital, being woke is very important.
What I wish for him is unspeakable. He never got my vote to start. And never will get it in the future.

I finally got nailed on Twatter, I see I’m out of Twat jail now. No idea what for as I didn’t get a notice either. Well fuck them harder, I had a good time catching up on YouTube instead. Even my fave astrologer is back at last (love his slogan: Make Astrology Great Again) after a career change. Trump as usual has a very strong chart and transits, and the law is on his side. He’ll win this. The Dems chart sucks and has for quite awhile. He says whereas he was practically the only Western astrologer that correctly predicted the 2016 election other than Vedic astrologers, for the last few months he suddenly has had several astrologers privately reach out to him including a couple big name ones, and they are now seeing the same things he has said for 4 years. Trump will serve two terms and wipe the Swamp out. 2021 will be his toughest year. I’m kinda jumping back and forth from some past analysis and this latest one.

I decided to turn Maria on this morning since I’ve kept all news channels off my TV all week. I had no sooner thought to meself, “I’d love to see some anchors start showing some ‘don’t try to pass off that BS here’ to the Dems”, when some blonde bitch Dem strategist did exactly that. Maria wasn’t having it, she promptly stated her viewers are very smart, and then demanded to know if she was a lawyer? Blonde bitch blushes and stutters, “well I can read lawsuits…”, while the GOP guy raises his hand and says “I AM a lawyer!” It was great. I busted out laughing. Rah!

STUPID STUPID STUPID STUPID. WAKE UP AMERICA. CDC and WHO both whom suck ASS said last two weeks COVID kill rate is .01% WAKE UP AMERICA AND THE WORLD. I HOPE EVERYONE GETS IT SO WE CAN STOP TALKING ABOUT IT. BAIT AND SWITCH. WAKE UP WAKE UP WAKE UP. Oh, and those fucking masks I hope Fauci and his type choke on them stupidest thing EVER you will NEVER see a doctor wearing a mask outside surgery unless he is a liberal AND being filmed. Other doctors NEVER because they are STUPID and USELESS outside of surgery room. The pandemic we are facing is stupidity and evil fight back NOW.

I check my county infection rates and deaths every couple of days and the fatalities are almost always 90% in ltc fatilities. Yesterday there were 3 all in nursing homes. My town of around 10,000 has had 1 death and 200 positive cases. I still only know of 1 person who had it. She fully recovered and none of her children got sick.
I’d like to know how they are tallying the positives. Is each positive test a unique individual? Elon Musk claims to have tested both positive and negative in the same day with 4 tests.
California passed a million doesn’t that mean 1 in 40 have it? That number wouldn’t include those not tested. Nothing adds up to justify the insanity. Wouldn’t I know someone who became deathly ill by now? The woman I know via da pup had the band surgery. She might be diabetic with extreme weight issues. She is a nurse. They may have hospitalized her out ofvan abundance of caution. I would imagine if the body is used to an abundance of calories that an extreme measure would already weaken the immune system as the body would fight to maintain.
They tried the hysterical route here with her.
School is a joke. Pup goes Tuesdays and Fridays. Last Friday was a half day. Today no classes due to parent teacher conferences. No school on election day. Two weeks one day of in class instruction. This is baby girl’s freshman year. It is setting the stage for her academic future and it’s a hot mess. I wish they’d just cancel the year. I am not even convinced she is learning anything.
What really gets my goat is that nothing seems to be being done at ltc’s. Day after day the death count grows. I find it impossible to accept any of the news.
How is it that China stopped at 80,000? How can it be spreading like would fire in South Africa, but not in neighboring countries. I trust my state government not at all.

This is what happens in Washington people use skeletons to keep the truth hidden and suppressed good people I don’t know how we’re going to overcome this I feel desperate at the moment so I’m going to go pray

The pressure is coming from the Lincoln project, they are leading the charge. I have no doubt there is also pressure behind the scenes via Tom Donolan and the COC. The neocons and the multi-nationals want to return to the “good old days”. Massive outsourcing, cheap Chinese goods, trade deficits as far as the eye can see, unfettered illegal immigration and endless wars.
