The Big Tell

Part of the Art of Poker is skillful deception. When you have a good hand you want your opponent to think you have a bad one, and when you have a bad hand you want him to think you’re holding four aces. Since everybody tries to maintain a “poker face” to conceal their thoughts, good players look for little things you might do to give you away. Those are called “tells” because they “tell” what you are thinking.

In November 2016 Donald Trump shocked the pants off of the news media, and they have been running around showing hir collective ass ever since. For over two straight years they searched high and low for a smoking gun, a holy grail, a stained blue dress, and/or ANYTHING that they could use to prove that Trump colluded with Russia to steal the election.

To this day many of them believe that Trump is guilty, they just couldn’t find the evidence because Trump obstructed justice. Now let’s compare Russiagate to The Big Steal.

No honest and objective examination of the events leading up to, during, and after the election on November 3, 2020, can claim that there was nothing unusual or suspicious that took place. Lots of irregularities have been found and many questions have been raised. Now it is possible that there is an innocent explanation for each and every irregularity and a reasonable answer for every question. But the media hasn’t shown any interest in looking into any of it.

The most effort the media has put forth has been when they ask Democrat officials (who would be involved in any cheating) a softball question they can hit out of the park.

So-Called Journalist: “Trump says you cheated. Any response?”
Democrat official: “Trump is just a crybaby loser.”
So-Called Journalist: “Okay then. Case closed. Back to you in the studio, Brian.”

The crazy thing is the news media isn’t just ignoring the story, they are actively suppressing it by attacking anyone who tries to talk about it. If the news media really believes that Joe Biden* won the election fair and square and that Trump is lying about electoral fraud, why aren’t they trying to prove that Trump is lying? That’s the tell.

How do they know that Trump’s claims are baseless if they don’t investigate them?

    I wonder what’s going on.

When Bannon left the WH he resigned saying he could accomplish more away from the WH. Remember when he and his associates from “We Built The Wall” were arrested in a perp walk in the early part of the year by the SDNY? When he was released from jail he was looking energized and laughing for the camera. I would suspect President Trump has been talking to Bannon all along and the Dems figured it out around the time he was arrested and they attempted to discredit him.

Maybe it was a yutube video that made them attack the Capitol.

The BLM/revolutionary guy John Sullivan from Utah was just arrested. He’s the one that had the long film and posted it on his YouTube Jayden X.

  4. lyn5 says:

Real journalists would have investigated voter fraud allegations.

  5. DandyTIger says:

Also they say Trump is lying about voter fraud. You can tell Trump believes it. That’s pretty obvious. Now whether there’s enough fraud to matter is up for discussion of course, but to say he’s lying is mind reading. Or propaganda.

The other thing they keep saying is there was no voter fraud. Um, excuse me, so the first time in American history there was no voter fraud. Wow, that’s a pretty big claim. Any evidence of that?

There was fraud. Looks like massive fraud. Statistical anomalies all over the place. So people have doubts. It should be investigated. It very well might not have been enough for Trump to win, but it sure looks like he won to me. They seem pretty afraid to even look.

QAnon Woke Up The Real Deep State, by Nicholas Grossman

    I quote the introduction:

To the QAnon community, and others involved in storming the Capitol:

The Deep State is real, but it’s not what you think. The Deep State you worry about is mostly made up; a fiction, a lie, a product of active imaginations, grifter manipulations, and the internet. I’m telling you this now because storming the Capitol building has drawn the attention of the real Deep State — the national security bureaucracy — and it’s important you understand what that means.

You attacked America. Maybe you think it was justified — as a response to a stolen election, or a cabal of child-trafficking pedophiles, or whatever — but it was still a violent attack on the United States. No matter how you describe it, that’s how the real Deep State is going to treat it.

The impact of that will make everything else feel like a LARP.

    Congratulations to the seditionists.

    They have awakened Leviathan.

That they should now be terrifyingly and hopelessly outmatched is exactly what they should have expected.

May they enjoy their Darwin Awards.

    • Constance says:

I hope this is true. Those Antifa/BLM/CIA guys that rioted in Congress should be held accountable. I hear the FBI arrested John Sullivan. And I hear that the lap tops that were taken by the spec ops during the riot reveal who was coordinating with the Antifa/BLM/CIA and who paid them. It is said people from both sides of the isle will go down for this treason.

      • Somebody says:

I have no doubt that people from both sides were involved, wouldn’t surprise me at all if foreign entities were involved. However, I doubt anyone of any consequence will be charged. This whole thing will soon be memory holed.

There are so many images floating around and internet sleuths have ID’d so many antifa and BLM their narrative was slipping away. The bulk of people charged will be Trump supporters. They’ll sacrifice a few on the left, but they’ll soon have a Boogaloo trophy to parade around and that will be the narrative going forward. They may continue to push Q-anon too, but their Shaman attempt has fallen flat with any reasonable person. So my bet is white supremacist angle and every republican in DC will be harassed and forced to denounce this or that group, maybe even denounce whiteness.

In the end the narrative will be white supremacist and racist Trump supporters laid seige to the Capitol on 1/6 in a failed attempt to block the vote and overturn the election. There will be a small footnote that a handful of disorganized leftist protesters were there and also got caught up in the events of the day. The irony of claiming BLM activist worked hand in glove with white supremacist will be lost on most people. They’ll commit it as fact because so and so on the TV said it was thus. Down the memory hole.

        • lateblum says:

I wish I could disagree with you. But I don’t. My own daughter has been grilling me on Q-anon and accusing us all of following him/her/it. I haven’t been able to even respond to her last email. She is so “dug into” the idea that “They even erected a gallows!!! They were going to hang people!” that I can’t talk to her. She backs everything up with “facts” that she likely gets from NPR or NYT or other “neutral” sources. She also discounts anything I counter until it (much later) appears or is reported on one of her resources. I think she believes she is being thoughtful and smart. When I tell her I’m sorry I brain washed her so successfully, she “loses it”.
There are far too many people like her who will never accept that it wasn’t the alt-right and no one else who were in DC that day. And all those hundreds of thousands of people were there to storm the Capitol.

        • Ivory Bill Woodpecker says:

“There are so many images floating around and internet sleuths have ID’d so many antifa and BLM their narrative was slipping away.”

          • Somebody says:

OK Packer, well beyond internet sleuths, seasoned trained investigators have ID’d antifa and BLM from the various images. Bernard Kerik and a team of investigators that includes former intelligence agents and military. Beyond that investigative journalists that cover uprisings all over the world have ID’d some and are investigating others they suspect of being AP’s.

The FBI says the antifa guy didn’t act alone. His messages have been uncovered. From what I’ve heard there were 3 main antagonist groups there. One leaned left and two leaned right. One of the right leaning groups actually didn’t support Trump, they are nihilistic the burn it all down crowd. The other right leaning group did have Trump supporters. Then there were run of the mill Trump supporters that got caught up in all of it, but there were 3 groups agitating and egging on the crowds using techniques that are used all over the world.

I did not claim it was only antifa, in fact I specifically said it was people from both sides and newsflash it was, but you keep fucking that chicken.

Mexico’s Left-Wing President Mounts International Campaign Taking On Tech Companies After Trump Bans
Mexico’s President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, speaks during a meeting with relatives of the 43 students of the teaching training school in Ayotzinapa who went missing on September 26, 2014, at the National Palace in Mexico City on September 26, 2020 on the sixth anniversary of their disappearance. – The students had commandeered five buses to travel to a protest on the night of September 26, 2014, but were stopped by municipal police in the city of Iguala, Guerrero. Prosecutors initially said the officers delivered the 43 teacher trainees to drug cartel hitmen, who killed them, incinerated their bodies and dumped the remains in a river. However, independent experts from the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights have rejected the government’s conclusion, and the unsolved case remains a stain on Mexico’s reputation.
    RODRIGO ARANGUA/AFP via Getty Images
Left-wing Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador reportedly vowed to take on tech companies on Thursday in response to the bans that President Donald Trump has faced on social media.

“I can tell you that at the first G20 meeting we have, I am going to make a proposal on this issue,” López Obrador said. “Yes, social media should not be used to incite violence and all that, but this cannot be used as a pretext to suspend freedom of expression.”

“How can a company act as if it was all powerful, omnipotent, as a sort of Spanish Inquisition on what is expressed?” López Obrador asked.

López Obrador’s Foreign Relations Secretary Marcelo Ebrard said that Mexico has already started the work of getting other nations involved in the effort, including “officials in France, Germany, the European Union, Africa, Latin America and Southeast Asia,” The Associated Press reported.

“Given that Mexico, through our president, has spoken out, we immediately made contact with others who think the same,” Ebrard said. “The president’s orders are to make contact with all of them, share this concern and work on coming up with a joint proposal. We will see what is proposed.”

López Obrador condemned the social media companies at the start of the week following their decision to suspend or outright ban the president from using their platforms.

“I don’t like anybody being censored or taking away from the right to post a message on Twitter or Face(book). I don’t agree with that, I don’t accept that,” López Obrador said. “How can you censor someone: ‘Let’s see, I, as the judge of the Holy Inquisition, will punish you because I think what you’re saying is harmful.’ Where is the law, where is the regulation, what are the norms? This is an issue of government, this is not an issue for private companies.”

Other international figures have spoken out against the censorship, including officials in Australia, France, Germany, Russia, and Poland.
unior Minister for European Union Affairs Clement Beaune said he was “shocked” to see a private company make such an important decision. “This should be decided by citizens, not by a CEO,” he told Bloomberg TV on Monday. “There needs to be public regulation of big online platforms.” Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire earlier said that the state should be responsible for regulations, rather than “the digital oligarchy,” and called big tech “one of the threats” to democracy.

A spokesperson for German Chancellor Angela Merkel said, “The right to freedom of opinion is of fundamental importance. Given that, the chancellor considers it problematic that the president’s accounts have been permanently suspended.”

Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny, a fierce critic of Russian President Vladimir Putin, also slammed the censoring of Trump, calling it an “unacceptable act.”

“In my opinion, the decision to ban Trump was based on emotions and personal political preferences. Don’t tell me he was banned for violating Twitter rules. I get death threats here every day for many years, and Twitter doesn’t ban anyone,” Navalny said. “Among the people who have Twitter accounts are cold-blooded murderers (Putin or Maduro) and liars and thieves (Medvedev). For many years, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram have been used as a base for Putin’s ‘troll factory’ and similar groups from other authoritarian countries.”

I would be interested in watching what becomes of a teen ageing out of foster care. Eighteen with loads of baggage kicked to the curb? I took a job at Starbucks for the health insurance back in 1999 or 2000. I worked between 16 and 20 hours a weekend ( before Starbucks made OT within a shift taboo) It was easy. I paid around 30 for full coverage yep dental and vision. Alone back then it would have cost me around 800 a month for a single guy. I was adding at least ten an hour to my 9.75 hourly. We also got tips which covered my health insurance. I worked weekends only. I was not alone doing it for insurance. Everyone on the weekend crew was 30+ doing it to get coverage. We all had degrees. They did not have 18 million drinks back then. It was easy and simple. it was only Saturday and Sunday at 14th and 9th in Chelsea. No people rushing to work needing an expresso. I got paid to provide myself with very good health insurance. I had a lot of respect for the company. I was done by ten. I took all the day’s pastries and put them in plastic bags. Covenant House (a home for runaways) was/is a few blocks off. Everything was given to this shelter which was left over. We walked stuff over during snow storms to an amazing place which does have a horror show of a predator past. Don’t throw the baby out with the bathwater. It was stuff like cranberry nut bread, banana loaf. Bagels. I had a lot of respect for the early 2000 late 90’s Starbucks. I made significant money doing sweat equity. I would tend bar in new restaurants and manage. I only took tips in exchange for salary i took a share. Yeah covid has cost me. I worked from open to close in new restaurants. I made money. Quite a bit. Starbucks gave me years of health insurance security. It was a funnish job. Three years ago with da pup no longer needing her annoying uncle. I thought I can work there and just throw all income into brat’s college. WTF. It had been a socially responsible company. I was more than willing to walk pastries to a youth shelter. I had a but for the grace of God there go I. It changed so much. I was 50 just looking to throw 200 a week into college savings for my grand niece. Mother of God everyday was some sort of social lesson. They sent me out to the cafe to watch hours of video on my white privilege???? I am from Clairton, PA. I grew up in a 51/49 black town. I do not need a graduate from a 60,000 a year school telling me how I feel. The biggest difference I recall from my youth was that black people sat on the front porch and spoke to passerby. We sat on our back porch. I have dozens of black cousins. Yeah I heard the word n*gger growing up. I also heard spic, dego, cracker, honkey, wet back, f a g g ot. My nephew by marriage ( my brother’s wifes sisters son) spends every holiday with us. He didn’t know he was black until 7th grade. It did not matter. He is now getting all kinds of flack from the grandparents who ignored his existence. He does not talk black according to them. They are scum.

Here is my credit card order whatever you want for you and your friends, but I am against punching assholes in the head. I happened to stumble across a tweet from Michael Beschloss. He responds to a tweet from Jim Acosta accusing the Trumps of stealing items from the WH. Now Beschloss knows items are borrowed by Presidential administrations to display in the WH, and once their term ends, items are returned to the Smithsonian or wherever they came from originally. He also knows that people who work there have personal items/framed pictures in their office that they would of course be removing.

But does he point any of this out? No, just read his comments. He is as hateful as any of those on the left commenting on Twitter, accusing the Trumps of stealing. And it doesn’t stop there. I scrolled through his twitter feed and he has one insult after another for Trump and his family.

A Presidential historian. So much for an open, objective mind. He doesn’t have that but he has a lot of hatred in his heart. But he is one of the elites that the left worships. I could never be a democrat again.

Here is the thread on stealing:

He and Trump were friends, Trump had a lot of praise for him when he spoke in Alamo, TX the other day. I am glad he is challenging social media. I hope he can get other countries to join the effort.

I wonder if there can be a backdoor to sue twitter. I was suspended permanently with no cause given. Simply I broke community standards. They will not let me delete my account. I have zero access. I followed Trump. Should jackass transfer my follow of Dolald J Trump to Biden would I not have grounds for twitter representing me in an untrue fashion. I cannot get in to delete my account. I tried to comb through terms of service. I get they can shut me off, but from what I glean my posts once suspended are their property? That is insane. I was posting hydroquira blah blah and I said I enjoyed watching antifa bounce off cars. I had been suspended for antifa go splat making me smile, but had been allowed back. After ejection of electoral dignity I garnished every post with #BoycottFoxNews. I was completely erased with no chance of defense. I have written to twitter many times with a request to delete my account in total. They will not even respond. I reached out to several groups and Senators. I get nothing. I was only on twitter for Trump. What if? What if my follow can be transferred without my consent to a xiden presidency. That, I believe, will alter the dynamics. Jack in doing si becomes pro active. Shouldn’t that give me grounds even if I had accepted previous terms. I am with a non legal mind perusing that pathetic skid marks TOS. I don’t see where he can use my profile to boost another. Will I be following xiden with a locked, shutdown account??????

The contract for their use of Trump’s hotel was that he got a cameo in lieu of payment. Without the cameo they’ll owe him money for the use of the hotel. I would think 20M would cover it. 🙂

I joined a week or so ago. It is brand new, so just starting to get people. One of the developers is Jonathan Gilliam who is an ex-Seal and ex-FBI agent. I have seen him on Newsmax several times.

He was on today. All this talk about riots coming in all 50 states and DC, his contacts at the Bureau tell him they haven’t heard any chatter about that. He also talked about the riots last year and how no one heard the words insurrection or sedition, but that’s all you hear now. And the narrative is, it was a white nationalist mob. Oh, and Twitter shut him down today.
