Oh, it’s MLK Day, keeping it real….

    • Dora says:

      We did fail. Pretty badly.

    • Constance says:

We did try it’s just that Democrats prefer the old days of segregation and dependency on government and were willing to fight to impose it on black and brown people.

      • DeniseVB says:

Poor MLK, no visits for you, his monument is shut down til the 22 because of “inauguration security concerns y’know 😉 It’s one of the outdoor memorials, they never close ?

True? Not true? Who knows? Just be careful.

Armed Protesters Begin To Arrive At State Capitols Around The Nation

Armed protesters have arrived at multiple state capitol complexes across the country Sunday morning. This follows a special bulletin from the FBI last week that warned: “armed protests” were being planned at 50 state capitols and the US Capitol in Washington, DC, ahead of President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration on Jan. 20.

Here we go again, lol, attacking the NRA just helps bring in the donations for Dems from the idiots who support them 😉

  5. DeniseVB says:

Lord’o’mercy Nancy Mace, what’s happened to you? At this rate, I think we should get Lola to primary her in 2022 😀 Taking us back to the days of GWB would make me a Democrat again, argghhhh ! Methinks she sold out to the SC GOPe and has her eye on Lindsay’s seat again…..

    • Anthony says:

This is infuriating. We (the people) endured an entire year of rioting, looting, arson, and public execution of both law enforcement officers and private citizens alike. Not a word from our establishment politicians to denounce any of that. The GOP mildly grumbled, the Democrats encouraged it and cheered it on. Now, that it hit them a little closer to home, they’re finally addressing it???

For the past four years, the only action Mace and others in congress have exercised is an extraordinary extravance of political promiscuity, focusing only on raising their public profile and branding with no regard for defending our Constitution or rule of law.

      • DeniseVB says:

Mace was only sworn in on the 3rd, she’s obviously forgotten how she got there. Meanwhile the real people’s new reps are being destroyed by the looney left and hung out to dry by the GOPe. Like Lauren here, she’s being Palinized………..

        • Anthony says:

I stand corrected. How’s this revision?

          • DeniseVB says:

LOL, I wasn’t correcting you more than I was showing how quickly a RINO is born 😀

She also forgets how the SC GOP screwed her in the primary against Lindsey. She was an up and coming fresh young face and a potential threat to Graham. So the state GOP added 3 more primary challengers to split the vote away from her. It worked with the anybody but Lindsey voters. Trump later put her on his SC campaign team in 2016. Winning SC for him was a feather in her political cap and she went on to win a seat in the state house. Now here she is throwing us all under the bus.

      Jack Hunter @jackhunter74

Nancy is a friend. She is a libertarian. She was frightened for her own safety and angry that her kids were scared for their mother.

Not everyone who runs afoul of your boy Donnie is trying to take the GOP back to Bush. Especially her. She will try to make GOP more libertarian.

      Ryan James Girdusky @RyanGirdusky

That’s fine, I don’t mind someone being a libertarian, but be honest about it. She ran a campaign nonstop saying she’d be in Trump’s corner.

Also, I’m going to take your evaluation with a grain of salt, since you told me Nikki Haley would be a small govt. Republican governor.

There is online school today because it is a make up snow day?? Why do they need snow days if everyone including most teachers are all doing distance learning/instruction. Is it a way to get OT?
And why do electronicctransfers not go through on holidsys or weekends. If I use my debit card on Sunday it is deducted right then. I transferred money to checkingbon Friday and it hasn’t gone through becsuse it’s a federal holiday. It’s not like there is a teller moving the cash. Annoying.

    • lateblum says:

Crazy! What bank are you doing business with? I don’t want to move to it.

    • elliesmom says:

Teachers don’t get paid overtime. They also don’t get paid for snow days. (Or vacations) Teachers work 185 days a year. One hundred and eighty in the classroom and 5 without the kids. A snowday is tacked onto the end of the scheduled school calendar as one of he 180 days. . My guess is your school district would rather work today than add a day at the end of the year.

      • 1539days says:

Teaching is generally a salaried position. I think the subs get per diem. They don’t stop getting paid during summer vacation because it would be a big problem trying to go without pay for 3 months.

        • elliesmom says:

Actually, whether a teacher gets paid only while school is in session or extends the pay over 12 months is a decision teachers usually get to make. I got my last paycheck on June 30th and didn’t get a paycheck again until September 30th. Often a school system will only give teachers who have reached professional status (tenure by another name) the option to divide their salary by 12. I had personal reasons for choosing not to get a paycheck over the summer, but I wasn’t alone in making that choice.

  8. helenk3 says:

just saw on tv today that the FBI is vetting the national guardsmen who are in DC. National Guard who defend our country at home and abroad have shed blood for this country vetted by a group who used a false dossier and lied to the FISA court to bring down a president. there are no words for this abomination

  9. dm says:

Got a call from Rasmussen Polls last night. Was asked a number of questions including how I would rate President Trump’s performance – excellent – did I plan to watch any of the inaugural festivities – NO – and was i concerned about Biden’s safety – NOT AT ALL. Don’t think I’ve ever been contacted by them or any nationally recognized pollsters…wasn’t really sure from the questions what the real purpose of the poll was, but I was pretty tired when they called.

    • DeniseVB says:

Crap, I can never figure out Twitter threads rules of sharing………….what Joy and Brandon were responding too………….

      • Anthony says:

Makes me want to hate him, but he’s not really that relevant lol. They just don’t get it, do they? The only ppl I know who respond to hate are the Democrats. They’ve normalized unfounded and unconditional hatred among themselves; now they believe that everyone is as twisted as they are.

        • lateblum says:

Nope. Couldn’t get through the video. I can only tolerate hate speech for a short time before I want to slap the daylights out of the speaker. No matter what side of the aisle s/he is on. This guys holier-than-thou judgmental approach, if he were a professor in a classroom, would inspire me to walk out of the classroom and never return.

      • 1539days says:

This is the never ending cycle of liberals first trying to fool people into being moderates, then gloating, then losing, then trying to figure out why everyone is dumb. Then they decide they need to try to gaslight and fool the dumb people. Then they gloat. Rinse and repeat.

Obama did this “I won” crap to end arguments. Then the Democrats lost – the House, the Senate, the White House. This is just step 1. Gloating.

      • lyn5 says:

Won’t watch it. His photo oozes of leftist pus.

      • jeffhas says:

I’m always won over when people insult me personally. Why would I listen to this guy? Has he led a meaningful life. Married? kids? Did he successfully navigate those or any other personal
        relationships?

Telling me Billionaires back Democrats because they depend on Capitalism…. uh, no, they back Democrats because corrupt Democrats can be bought to help them get more money and more control – just like Democrat politicians $200-million-dollar-Nancy and Billion-Dollar-Feinstein.

BLM is not a terrorist group? OK whatever you say, but why must I bend knee to them? – seems like something a terrorist would demand. Looting and violence are never OK? – but so many BLM leaders said they were allowed to burn buildings because they are outraged and that looting was reparations… hmm….

In the past, whenever masses decide violence is their only option to get the The State’s attention, The State should respectfully pay attention. That’s what they did with BLM, and that’s what they should now.

Trump was a disaster? Tell that to Israel, or NATO or China (which seems to be quite happy now!) or the workers whose companies didn’t leave the U.S.,… Securing the border so workers don’t have to compete against Low Cost illegal
Immigrant workers which Lifted ALL wages… what about Criminal Justice reform? Or Warp Speed which will change how vaccines are produced FOREVER, EVERYWHERE….

Saying Trump was a disaster at everything just tells you how partisan you are – pretty much every President has hits and misses, but to ignore the hits tells me all I need to know about this jackass. Just another ‘Superior’ intellect Democrat. Hilarious.

Hey, you’re in control, focus on that – we’re waiting to see how great things will turn out vis-a-via your SUPERIORITY.

    • DandyTIger says:

Unfortunately the courts are full of elite, establishment types, who are no friend to the people or the constitution is seems. The SCOTUS made it clear, even openly, during the election fraud issues that they were ruling not on the constitution, but on fear of riots. And even with a mostly compliant elite courts, the Dems may add new seats anyway.

    • lyn5 says:

Mob rule is so much fun, said no sane person ever.

  15. DandyTIger says:

Ric Grenell on Varney&Co said Susan Rice in charge of domestic policy, but in reality more focused on foreign policy, would be the power behind the throne. She would be running the Biden admin. And this is partly because the VP will be busy with the Senate being the tiebreaker on most everything they do. So there you have it, the real POTUS is Rice. And he mentioned this was also resume padding so she can run for other offices, e.g., Senate or maybe POTUS.

    • Somebody says:

These assholes can’t have it both ways. Supposedly the military whose ballots had to be transposed to another ballot due to format, supposedly they voted 93%-100% for Biden in MI, PA, GA and AZ.

So either the military from those states voted in those percentages and therefore back Biden or election workers cheated them out of their votes. Which is it? Choose carefully because the military vote in two of those states is enough to flip the results and chips away at the other two. Claiming 80% voted for Trump when the results in certain states do not reflect that seems to indicate that there was fraud. If election workers will steal votes from our soldiers what else might they do?

Not one republican including POTUS has pushed back on these accusations and now inquisition of our soldiers. Last time I checked Donald J. Trump is the CIC, not the democrats in congress. Why is our military bowing to the democrats?

Another thing, why is it the fucking FBI has been uninterested in radical Muslim soldiers that have committed mass shootings, but they are rifling through John from Omaha’s social media and banking records, as well as interrogating he and fellow soldiers. I’m the great Carnack, masses of soldiers charged with lying to the FBI in 3, 2, 1.

(Thread) Keep in mind while reading through it, the “fire” was about a mile away, has since been put out, nobody hurt. It’s though they’re looking for these type of events to blow them up?

I’m shocked they are permitting a “homeless encampment” within walking distance. In Chicago anything like a homeless nest is swept far, far away from press or any public view.

There’s been a tent city across the street from the Capitol which seems fine with the local police, but I think they’re friends of Nanzi.

This is only the third inaugural in US history where there was an armed military presence in DC.

1861, just prior to the Civil War.

    Then eighty years later…

    2021.
