The Peasants Are Not Revolting

Joe Biden* is the most popular POTUS in American history, with 80 million supporters. He got more votes from black people than Barack Obama. He is so popular that he invited 25,000 national guard troops to his inauguration. Thankfully, they had nothing to do Wednesday except stand around with their thumbs up their asses like regular government employees. The same goes for all the other weekend warriors called up to protect the 57 state capitols.

This caused the news media to scramble for something to talk about. They had spent two weeks gleefully predicting that white supremacist Trump supporters were going to attempt a mostly-violent coup to overthrow democracy and the rule of law in favor of a Trump caliphate. Without any rioters, there were no riots to cover so the media was forced to report on things like how nice it was to have a good-looking and fashionable first lady again.

Kylee Zempel over at the Federalist tries to explain why the rioting racists were a no-show:

3 Reasons State Capitols Didn’t Erupt In Violence Like The Media Promised

Following the violence that overtook our nation’s Capitol after a group of extremists breached the historic building during the congressional certification of the 2020 Electoral College votes, Democrats and the corporate media breathlessly reported that state capitols all over the nation would face a similar fate at the hands of deplorable Trump supporters.

After the FBI allegedly leaked to the press a bulletin about the coming attacks, the media and their lawmaking friends readily amplified it. States then called in the National Guard and fortified their capitols, and Americans around the country prepared for a veritable war this past weekend.

“What happened on Jan. 6 … might not be the end of the insurrection, but the beginning,” Rep. Raja Krishnamoorthi, D-Ill., told NPR right after the Capitol riot. “We need to be concerned.”

That imminent war, however, never materialized. To the shock of many, the streets remained nearly silent, with only a handful of peaceful protesters showing up at several statehouses. As The New York Times reported after the fact:

Outside the Pennsylvania State Capitol there were so few protesters that reporters lined up on the sidewalk to interview a man who gave his name only as Alex and wore a sweatshirt that said ‘Fraud 2020.’ Reporters then turned to a man named Eddie who was selling ‘Biden is not my president’ T-shirts but who left soon after for lack of customers.

Despite all the fearmongering, the violence never erupted. It’s worth asking: Why?

Kylee gives three reasons:

1. Questionable Sources and Media Pile-On

2. Law and Order

3. Widespread Denouncement of Violence

But it’s only in the first reason that she touches on the truth:

It’s unclear where exactly the FBI gathered that violent agitators would be “storming” every statehouse, but as journalist Jordan Schachtel noted in his newsletter, “The Dossier,” the agency’s bulletin seems to be connected to a protest flyer that appeared on the aggregator website of the Boogaloo movement, a disorganized group of activists ranging from far-left “defund the police” demonstrators to alt-right white nationalists.

Regardless of the source, this sort of overhyped nonsense, often manufactured in the deep state and proclaimed by the media, repeats itself constantly.

Leftists love to lie, and one of their most favorite and enduring lies is the one that goes:

The most significant terrorist threat to the United States is now the threat from violent white supremacists.

Depending on which leftist you listen to, the percentage of white people who are white supremacists ranges from 60% to 100% What is really weird is that white leftists are more likely than black leftists to believe that all white people are white supremacists.

The reality is that white supremacy is a phantom menace.

I’m not saying that white supremacists are non-existent. There are definitely some white supremacists out there. There used to be millions of them roaming the earth, but now they are nearly extinct. How many are still breathing is hard to determine because very few of them are willing to openly admit it. That is because white supremacy and other forms of racism are wholly incompatible with our foundational principle that all men are created equal.

White supremacy reached its peak with Nazi Germany. When we defeated the Nazis we uncovered unspeakable horrors that exposed racism as evil. After our boys came home from Europe we had to confront the evil of racism here in America in the form of the Ku Klux Klan and Jim Crow segregation.

We outlawed racial discrimination. But we didn’t outlaw racism, we just made it socially unacceptable. Racists rank just above pedophiles and rapists as the most despised people in society. The Left claims that all 75 million Trump supporters are white supremacists, but the actual evidence points to there being a fewthousand white supremacists in this country, and most of them are members of racist prison gangs like the Aryan Brotherhood.

But we few, we happy few Trump supporters aren’t just racists:

“You know, to just be grossly generalistic, you could put half of Trump’s supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables. Right?” Clinton said. “The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamaphobic—you name it.

According to Leftist dogma, Trump supporters are stupid AND uneducated. Because of our cognitive shortcomings, we are ruled by emotion rather than intellect so we are easily misled. We are nominally Christian, but we are not members of a respectable church. We belong tp various fringe holy-roller sects and we think the bible says “God hates fags.”

Every Trump supporter is a gun nut with at least 50 firearms and a 2 years supply of ammo for each one. We give all our guns girl names and talk to them. Our favorite pastime is sitting in the dark and caressing our guns with one hand and ourselves with the other while chanting “This is my weapon, this is my gun. This one’s for killin’ and this one’s for fun.”

All those guns make Trump supporters dangerous. Except those damn statistics don’t show it.

One thing that Trump supporters are NOT is organized. If Trump supporters were organized then those Lerftyist attacks on Trump rallies would have only happened once. But Trump didn’t need us organized. Most political organizations are just for fundraising and they don’t GAF what we think. But Trump wasn’t trying to raise money and he had Twitter when he wanted to tell us anything.

But we are not organized and we don’t have our own private army. Yeah, I know there are some militia groups out there, but that is exactly why they are no threat to our system of government because they are OUT THERE, not IN HERE.

The point I’m trying to make is that there were no inaugural riots this year because there never were any riots planned. It’s not that the rioters didn’t show up, it’s that there simply were no rioters.

So what was the point of raising fears of a phantom menace?

Well, for one thing, Joe Biden* didn’t have to worry about whether anyone would show up to watch his inauguration. And the story provides cover for a crackdown on the right.

Well our government is certainly corrupt and they don’t have the consent of the governed. Now the GOPe is threatening that if there is a Patriot party conservatives will never win again because MAGAs will have split the party. Actually the GOPe split the party and decided to go with the 1%. Good luck getting the votes to do anything and of course the GOPe doesn’t do anything, they don’t even fight voter fraud or take office when they are elected.
By the way I am so glad all of you are here. I woke up feeling completely disconnected from the country I’m in but I knew you all would be here. Somehow we got through the long 8 Obama years.

    • 1539days says:

The argument that not eating the crap sandwich from the GOPe will lead to more Joe Bidens and Barack Obamas isn’t going to help much. The alternative is Romney, McCain or Jeb! so far. At least when Obama was president and the Republicans were in the minority, McConnell fought his agenda.

  4. Constance says:

I feel like Patriot party people should have “spending fast” days going forward. Set a date once a month and everyone don’t buy anything, not gas, not food, not gum, not coffee. Just to show we are a coordinated network and to show our economic power.

    • 1539days says:

I should make a statement to Wall Street by not contributing to my 401K anymore. It’s going to start losing money anyway.

      • Woke Lola says:

Imagine if half of the 75 million Trump voters took early withdrawal of their 401Ks this quarter and just sat on it regardless of penalty. Imagine. Riots aren’t always physically violent, and there are countless ways to inflict the necessary pain.

        • DeniseVB says:

We did that under Obama, savings has been in a nice, boring credit union account with tiny interest, but never loses money. 🙂

          • John Denney says:

The Fed deliberately inflates the dollar by 2% per year, so if your dollars are earning less than that, you are indeed losing money.

When I tucked away a paper dollar & a silver dollar in 1969, either would buy a quarter pounder, fries, & malt, or 3 gallons of gas, or 4 loaves of bread at the convenience store. 2000 of them would buy a nice new car.

The paper one won’t do that anymore, but the silver one will.

  5. Constance says:

Did we deprive the ruling class of their glorious war victory by not rioting? I really didn’t think they cared that much they just want to get right back to the business of corruption as usual. But they seem kind of let down. I’m really glad the soldiers turned their backs on Biden’s motorcade. Not that THEY care what soldiers actually feel or think but they do care about how bad it looks.

      • DeniseVB says:

Me too ! Jill Biden’s “Malibu Grandma” over there, lol. Could only find one photo of her Inaugural Ball gown………, I need to see more pictures……….flowers from every state and territory? Umkay, probably just a bad angle/lighting/needs ironing thing.

        • elliesmom says:

At first I wondered why she had an inaugural ball gown since there was no ball, but then I realized if she didn’t have a gown, she wouldn’t get her place at the Smithsonian. When you wear a formal gown, your gloves shouldn’t go up inside your sleeves. They can go up inside a jacket or coat, but not your dress. The appropriate gloves for that dress would have stopped at her wrists. Especially since the sleeves are sheer. My grandmother taught me every woman needs 6 pairs of gloves of varying lengths. She also made me join Rainbow Girls so I’d have somewhere to wear the gloves. When you join the DAR, one of the gifts you get is a pair of white gloves. I haven’t been to any meetings where anyone but me was wearing a dress or even a skirt so I don’t know exactly when they wear them. But should I decide to join, I guess I’ll get to wear my gloves somewhere. They haven’t had much use in the last 50 years. I keep them safe, though, because my grandmother told me I can’t be a lady without them. 😉

          • elliesmom says:

Someone at MOTUS just asked why she’s wearing Playtex gloves. 🙂

          • lateblum says:

Because they go with her Saran Wrap sleeves.

          • Somebody says:

EM, you didn’t wear gloves when you were young? On Sundays or if you went to “town”. I barely remember, but my sister’s are 5 and 8 years older than me and I know they remember. The south was slower to go casual.

I don’t recall that I ever wore evening gloves, except for playing dress up. I do remember my sisters wearing them in their early Rainbow Girls years.

        • swanspirit says:

She just looks frumpy. The gown doesn’t fit, and it’s wrinkled. It looks like one of those, ” I ordered this gorgeous dress from the internet, and THIS is what I got instead “photos.
And your gloves never go up under the sleeves of your dress. That’s just common sense. My mother had a ” glove drawer” with gloves of every color, and for every occasion. My favorite pair were the white elbow length lambskin. They were wonderful.

          • Somebody says:

I’m sure it will look fine on display in the Smithsonian and that seems to be the purpose. It will be fitted, tucked, what have you to look perfect.

          • Constance says:

The last three dresses will be white?! Very few of the older dresses were white. That’s going to be one washed out display case. Also different colors of white often don’t look that good together because at least one will come off looking dingy.

          • lateblum says:

Those gloves sound beautiful. My mother had a collection of gloves as well. They were from before she married. She used to take them out and look at them fondly. I loved touching them.

One of the peasants who did revolt, is, wait for it, blaming President Trump.
QAnon Shaman’s Lawyer Blames Trump for ‘Duping’ Client Into ‘Decisions He Should Not Have Made’
An attorney for Jacob Anthony Chansley, the “QAnon Shaman” also known as Jake Angeli, is putting the blame on former President Donald Trump for his client’s involvement in the deadly storming of the U.S. Capitol on January 6.
“He regrets very, very much having not just been duped by the president but by being in a position where he allowed that duping to put him in a position to make decisions he should not have made,” Albert Watkins, a lawyer for Chansley, told Missouri’s NBC-affiliated television station KSDK.

Chansley has become one of the most recognizable faces of the riot, largely because of his appearance. The 33-year-old Arizona native went viral after being photographed bare-chested and wearing a fur hat with horns while carrying an American flag. He’s worn similar attire at pro-Trump rallies in Arizona while carrying a sign saying “Q sent me”—referring to the conspiracy theory that promotes the idea that Trump is a savior in a fight against child-sex predators that includes prominent Democrats and “deep state” government officials.

    • Constance says:

The Left has really latched on to this guy. I keep reading about him and he is a compelling character for a story so I understand the attrection. But he isn’t a Q leader or a typical MAGA. How did these details evaporate when we keep hearing about the media appointed horned Q God? Them seem kind of important.

That is a Seattle thing. First they put in a toll bridge or road and collect tolls by computer, photographing your license plate and mailing you the bill with a $15. charge for collection. They collect every toll separately generating massive $15. collection fees. OR you can freely choose to purchase a car decal for $50., put it on your windshield, go online and link it with your credit card and always automatically keep $35. in your account, and then you can pay a greatly reduced toll and have zero collection charges. After the whole population is suckered into buying and registering a car beacon you use them to track people and ta them. I guess now we will need a Federal, State and City beacon?

      • Constance says:

Oh! At first you could buy a portable beacon that you could hang from your mirror and switch to different cars. I haven’t seen those in awhile, now you need to purchase a separate beacon for each car.

Before I lose it entirely, I want to share that the superintendent of the Evanston school district #65 called the letters critical of the district’s mismanagement of in-school and remote learning as based on “white supremacy” and then went on to try to shame theses parents as well as the entire white community of racism. Most of the 2 most critical emails were published in a highly reputable local online newspaper. So were his responses. He called them “white supremist” (sic). And ignorant in the way they wrote to him, saying no one has the right to all him out because #racism. Evanston is an integrated town. There are blacks, browns, whites, rich and poor, and every other minority who have lived here, raised our kids, and many of whose kids have returned to live here as well. We are also home to Northwestern University which is nothing if not divers in every sense of the word.
The following is most of his “explanation” NOT an apology for what he wrote or how he expressed himself. I am MORE than a little angry. He uses race to excuse everything he says, does, and doesn’t do, and then uses race to further divide the community.
    Sound familiar?

Defining our Equity Language: Special Edition of Conversations with the Superintendent
    Dear District 65 Community –

I am hopeful that yesterday served as an opportunity for productive activism, service, and reflection in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. King’s legacy will never be forgotten and because of his work we are all allowed to stand on the shoulders of giants and fight for equity with passion, practice, and persistence here in Evanston/Skokie.

On Monday, we hosted a special edition of our Conversations with the Superintendent video series in both English and Spanish that featured School Board leadership, President Anya Tanyavutti and Vice President Biz Lindsay-Ryan, and Devon Alexander, Manager of Equity, Diversity, and Family and Community Engagement. This discussion reflected on the mischaracterization of an email exchange between myself and a parent last week as reported in local publications and to discuss the language that was used, its historical context, and how we as a community can lean into critical inquiry and community connection when discomfort is experienced. This includes educating ourselves about language and words that trigger feelings and experiences of racism. We also discussed how white supremacy and racism go hand-in-hand and how we can all continue to grow and expand in awareness and understanding. This is the work we are committed to doing every day in 65.

We know that there are struggles and confusion in understanding why schools are not open. As a reminder, an announcement about this will be coming tomorrow. To be very clear, we are not saying that anyone who wants schools open or advocates for their needs is a white supremacist. We are saying that the way some people are advocating is causing incredible harm and is rooted in white supremacy.

As a community, we have to be able to have hard conversations and be willing to lean into discomfort if we are truly committed to achieving our goals of equity. We have to take our work to the next level. Healthy and authentic navigation of productive equity education will continue to be a focus for me in the midst of these challenging times. I ask that you make this commitment alongside me. Together, we can close the opportunity and achievement gaps that exist for our Black and Brown students.

    Dr. Devon Horton

I started an email reply. After 5 paragraphs, I saved it. I have other things to do today. I’ll finish it tomorrow and send it when it’s completed. All I can say is Obama and his black liberation theory people would be more than a little proud. I wonder if he “studied” under the same people as Obama or maybe is in the group of activists that the Obama group is now training.

It’s been pretty bad for some kids. Thursday was not good, I can tell you.
I didn’t watch the zoom call. I read the emails that I think I posted here last week. His responses to them were quite disrespectful given the nature of the published emails.

Thank you for checking out the zoom call. I probably should have done that first. Actually, I should have done that PERIOD. I didn’t really know I could do that at all. I’ll try doing that later. I’ve got to run now. I’ve been dealing with tech things that I don’t understand for the last nearly 2 hours and have screwed up my entire weekend because of that. ❤️

Look it what we have here.
Probable cases are listed in daily totals.
“The state Department of Health defines a probable case as one in which a patient has “a positive serology (antibody) test and either covid-19 symptoms or a high-risk exposure” to someone who has been confirmed to have coronavirus”
So if one family has it did they inflate numbers and say a whole household was positive?
Lives, businesses destroyed because orange man tweeted untoward things.
    Hate them.

    Where we are at …

In 2015, Americans could still believe they lived in a republic, in which life’s rules flow from the people through their representatives. In 2021, a class of rulers draws their right to rule from self-declared experts’ claims of infallibility that dwarf baroque kings’ pretensions.

In that self-referential sense, the United States of America is now a classic oligarchy.

Yep, that was the civics lesson Trump gave us. He partly broke down both parties to expose it all. The rest of the uniparty’s destruction is up to us.
