The Libs have successfully framed us as crazy, violent bastards and must be destroyed and it’s working.

      • taw46 says:

Yes, the left is excellent at this game. And our “Republican leaders”, with few exceptions, never fight back.

Twitter banned thousands of conservative accounts, many left on their own. Just pick a Twitter thread, you will see hundreds of tweets attacking Trump supporters, with no one left to fight back. No one to challenge them, correct their lies, fight their insanity, ridicule them. They are the ones who get to tell the story about the 6th and the aftermath.

        • DeniseVB says:

The “Republicans” are calling the idea of a Patriot Party cheesy and will never be successful in the future to defeat Democrats in 2022. They said the same thing about the Tea Party even after the candidates who supported them swept into office in 2010. It was a threat to the duopoly led by McCain, our 2008 LOSER. They managed to destroy the TP and Sarah Palin in time for the 2012 election by weaponizing Obama’s IRS to stop their source of grassroots fundraising. At the time, the TP was required to pay big bucks for rally permits while OWS was never charged, they did what and where they wanted for free. Romney let them and successfully LOST in 2012. We can’t let that happen again. I think we’re mad enough now 😀

          • Mothy67 says:

With the crazy dims they at least buy you off with stimulus. Rino’s fuck over everybody but those that fund them.

          • Somebody says:

But that is how they roll. A Biden administration will smother a patriot party in the crib, those are just the facts. I honestly believe a hostile takeover is a better course of action, at least in the near term.

The tea party was successful in getting candidates on the ballot all across the nation and propelled them to victory. Some were turn coats like Rubio, but the 2010 sweep was solely on the backs of the tea party. Nobody rallied to elect swamp monsters.

The problem was three fold. 1) the candidates needed to be vetted better, 2) the tea party never infiltrated the republican party apparatus, so establishment COC assholes continued to hold the purse strings and party electoral assistance, 3) the tea party movement itself was hijacked by establishment types with one goal in mind to strangle the movement

So taking those 3 issues, the first one is a biggie and will be an issue whether a third party is formed or not. The warning signs about Rubio were there if anyone chose to dig. So the Patriot party or the Patriot wing of the Republicans or whatever simply have to devote time and effort into vetting candidates, getting them on record on critical issues and holding their feet to the fire. Issue number one remains.

Issues two and three can and will be a little different this time. Just due to DJT being POTUS some of his MAGA people are already within the apparatus of the GOP. Not enough, but more than the tea party has. If the MAGA-Patriot people play their cards right they can greatly expand their influence. It takes people being willing to put in the time, a lot of party work is grunt work, but it’s the only way to get in the door and mount a take over. Honestly we outnumber them and we need to use that to our advantage. Thousands of us need to get off our butts and get involved.

Issue number three might not be as big of an issue because via DJT there is a leadership structure if he chooses to continue on. Even if he retires into the background there is a structure to MAGA via his well known surrogates. The tea party was grass roots but lacked structured leadership, unfortunately unsavory establishment types saw that void and took advantage of it. That will be much, much harder this time.

          • Constance says:

We have to go with the Patriot Party. Republicans won THIS presidential election and the Senate and failed to take office. They prefer to be losers. So all their bullshit about taking the house in 2022??? So what it doesn’t mean anything, do they plan to take office after winning? Probably not, it’s too hard. We have zero chance with Republicans, no hope with Democrats and our best chance and only hope is Patriots. I mean do we really want to be led by those smarmy GOPe?

          • elliesmom says:

It’s only access to money that makes the old GOP at all attractive. The Patriot Party would need to find a cadre of wealthy donors- like maybe start with Elon Musk. Maybe Dean Kamen. He’s a Republican and quirky enough to be lured. What other captains of industry are fleeing California for Texas? A positive environment for industry might even get some big Democrat donors after a couple of years of Biden/Harris.

          • Constance says:

The unions are pissed at Biden after 5 days. They could come over to the Patriots. Of course they would have to sign on to our agenda which includes schools do what is best for children not teachers and admin.

    • Constance says:

Well Conservatism Inc. think it buys them more influence but NOT!

I don’t trust Lindsey Graham myself, but I’m glad senators are feeling the pressure. I contacted both of my Florida senators. Everyone should contact their senators, even if they are democrat.

In 2022, there will be 30 republican senators up for reelection and 22 or 23 democrats. Most of them hate Trump, but they love their swamp job more. Call, email and write these bastards until your fingers bleed.

      • elliesmom says:

One of my senators is Wheldon Shithouse. His RI residence is an easy walk from my house. Maybe I’ll walk over there and let Ellie and Hank leave him some peemail. I don’t think calling him or writing to him would make much difference. Jack Reed might understand a horse’s head in his bed.

  11. elliesmom says:

As someone who worked to get Title IX passed, I understand why people who are angry with Biden over erasing women are putting women’s sports front and center. It’s harming our young girls, and it’s easier to get people riled up to support the kids. Buried in the story at most sites, though, is what his EO will do to women seeking refuge in shelters, incarcerated in our prisonheas, and hospitalized in psychiatric wards. Places where women are the most vulnerable.

The sports thing will work itself out. Title IX still requires schools to provide funding for women’s sports. Girls benefit greatly from the team building skills and learning how to compete sports provide. As the top slots on teams go to biological males, the girls will gravitate to the less exciting world of intramural sports and sports where they have an edge over men in a head to head competition like gymnastics. Other than endorsements by women who medal in some Olympic sports, there isn’t much money to be made by women as pro-athletes. In the same field they make a small fraction of what men make in most sports. It’s not the draw for high school girls it is for the boys. People who go to women’s sporting evens, what few fans there are, don’t go to watch second-rate biological males compete. When there’s no money to be made and not much glory, the biological males will lose interest. So the financials of it are mostly college scholarships. Higher education will find a way to adjust until we fix this once and for all.

But a woman who flees an abusive male and finds herself sleeping in what’s supposed to be a safe haven a few feet away from a man who says he’s “transitioning”, or the woman in a prison cell with an intact male, or the woman confined to a locked hospital floor whose credibility is already being questioned need their issues addressed immediately.

I was telling my daughter that there are no excess deaths in 2020 in fact the overall death rate is less than 2019. Suddenly there are no stats population death stats on 2019 or 2020 on the government website! There is some BS about how they haven’t been able to determine them yet. Really? Because it seems pretty easy to me and how many government employees do they have on the problem? I honestly can’t find them anywhere.

      • Mothy67 says:

Five of six deaths reported today in my county are in ltc’s.

        • Constance says:

Thanks but I still can’t find a word about 2020. Which I figure must not fit the death narrative.
And thanks for the supportive FB comments. No one else in the family was going to get in the middle of that mother daughter fracas. The kid has a persecution wish. She keeps going off into this sad tale of being unsupported because she’s gay and “some gay kids get thrown out on the street. when they are teenagers and can barely live.” Well she lived at home or school until she was 22 and when at school her grandparents paid her tuition and apartment. When she graduated as a civil engineer her first job paid $55,000. with benefits at age 23. So cry me a river! And many teenagers get thrown out from home for all kinds of reasons it’s not only a gay thing. There is religious conflict with parents, not following house rules, dating people the parents can’t stand, flunking out of school, and the no reason at all “it’s time, you’re and adult, get out”. It’s like I’ve had a 14 year old for 16 years with that kid!

Howie Carr: Thanks for everything, President Trump
By: Howie Carr January 18, 2021 The Boston Herald

Thank you, Mr. President, for everything you’ve done.

It shouldn’t be ending this way, but I and 74 million other Americans just want to thank you for all your efforts on our behalf over the past four years, actually since you came down the escalator at Trump Tower back in the summer of 2015.

    In no particular order:

Thank you for restoring the U.S. as the world’s leading producer of energy – after your predecessor sternly lectured us that we “couldn’t drill our way” out of our dependence on unstable Middle Eastern oil providers.

Thank you for the tax cuts for the middle class.

Thank you for destroying genocidal ISIS, which your predecessor called “the junior varsity.”

Thanks for shutting off the endless flow of illegal immigrants at the southern border, and the unending supply of MS-13 gangbangers, among other criminals, as well as the welfare-dependent illiterate indigents who were so destabilizing American society before you became president.

Thank you for calling out the endless hypocrisy of the media — what you so aptly described as “Very Fake News.”

Thank you for promoting economic policies that led to the lowest unemployment rates ever for blacks, Hispanics, Asians, Native Americans and women, among others.

Thank you for doing more to promote peace in the Middle East than all of your predecessors combined.

Thank you for calling out and exposing the feckless RINOs of your own party like Willard Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan, Kelly Ayotte, et al.

Thanks for finally standing up to Red China and its predatory trade practices.

Thanks for calling out Fox News Channel for its duplicitous descent into terminal wokeness.

Thank you for Operation Warp Speed, an amazing achievement for which you will never receive the appropriate credit.

Thanks for pardoning all the persecuted victims of the Russian collusion hoax, among them Gen. Michael Flynn and Roger Stone.

Thank you for eliminating Obamacare’s “individual mandate,” which fined individuals for not buying health insurance they didn’t want or couldn’t afford.

Thank you for taking more questions from (almost always hostile) reporters than all of the last three or four presidents combined.

Thanks for getting the U.S. out of such foreign policy disasters as the Iran nuclear deal, the Paris Climate Accords and the Trans-Pacific Partnership, as well as ending the fiasco for American workers that was NAFTA.

Thanks for such a booming economy that seven million people got off the food-stamp rolls.

Thanks for all those tweets that drove the Democrats and the media (but I repeat myself) crazy.

Also, a personal note on Twitter: Thanks for the three tweets promoting my book, “What Really Happened: How Donald J. Trump Saved America from Hillary Clinton.”

As Donald Trump Jr. told me: “That’s two tweets more than he gave my book!”

Thank you for not turning the IRS into an instrument of persecution against your political foes, the way your predecessor did.

Thanks for not surveilling reporters a la the Obama administration.

Thanks for ending state oppression against people of faith like the Little Sisters of the Poor.

Thank you for trying to defund “sanctuary cities” where illegals run amok.

Thanks for the three new justices on the Supreme Court — think how much worse Hillary’s picks would have been, and maybe someday they’ll grow the spines they so obviously lacked last month in Texas v. Pennsylvania.

Thank you for defanging North Korea and Little Rocket Man.

Thanks for opening up more of our North Atlantic waters for New England commercial fishermen and lobstermen.

Thanks for defending both the First and Second Amendments, and for railing against Section 230, which the billionaire fascists of Silicon Valley are abusing to shut down free speech.

Thank you for appointing U.S. attorneys who actually wanted to put real criminals in prison, without fear or favor.

Thanks for using the death penalty, when necessary, against the worst of the worst serial killers.

Thank you for the travel ban, which has largely halted the flow of terrorists like the Tsarnaevs, who had been welcomed into the U.S. and put on welfare by previous administrations, Democrat and Republican alike.

Thanks for the balance in my 401(k).

Thanks for the lowest gasoline prices in decades.

Thanks for the largest number of Americans with gainful employment since the government started keeping records.

Thank you for ordering the elimination of two of the most bloodthirsty terrorists on earth, al-Baghdadi and Gen. Soleimani.

To borrow a line from “The Last Hurrah,” “How do you thank a guy for a million laughs?”

Thanks for all the great nicknames — Crooked Hillary, Li’l Marco, Low Energy Jeb, etc.

Thanks for all the amazingly entertaining rallies, if not for bringing back the Village People’s “Macho Man” song.

Mr. President, I could go on and on and on, but all of us Deplorables and bitter clingers and credulous Boomer rubes just want you to know how much we appreciate the four years you gave us to prepare and fortify ourselves for the impending disaster ahead.

We’ll be back, Mr. President, and so will you.

Very nice letter, it’s truly amazing how much he accomplished with snakes all around him. Snakes in his administration, deep state snakes, democrat snakes in congress and state houses, plenty of republican snakes too. Every single day was an Indiana Jones walk through a pit of vipers.

A media that never gave him a moment’s peace, not even when his wife was hospitalized or when his brother passed away. Think about that, the media was beyond vicious and they never, ever gave him credit for anything.

I was thinking the other day about the US reaching energy independence. For years and years we were told that was either unattainable or it would take a decade or more. We achieved energy independence in what 1.5 to 2 years? My sister that lives here says Trump’s greatest gift was shattering those kinds of beliefs or talking points. Not only with energy, but with trade, foreign policy, the military, the border, lots of areas, some areas he was more successful than others, but he showed Americans and the world there is a different way. That the supposed elite, TPTB, media, think tanks or what have you are wrong on so many things.

My sister predicts those things cannot be unseen, not even by democrats and there is a backlash coming. I hope she’s right.

Speaking of my sister, she and my BIL have always been establishment types through and through. He was an appointee in two republican administrations. They were not early Trump fans and clutched their pearls quite a bit the past 4 years, but they have turned out to be true admirers based solely on his accomplishments.

Seriously, if you have a landline, send it and tell them it’s a landline and doesn’t get texts. Or give them someone else’s number and tell Twitter it’s a landline. And it doesn’t get texts. Or give them your own cell phone, tell them it’s a landline and doesn’t receive text messages. Wth, they have no right to your phone number period.
