Hubby has diabetes, but he didn’t check the new prices yet.

    Thanks Joe!

    • Swan Spirit says:

This affects so many people. It’s horrific. it’s price gouging underwritten by our government. I hope the dim diabetics who voted for Biden are happy.

      • votermom says:

my old lib schoolmate is on FB. Pre 2016 she was always complaining about insulin prices for her type 1 kid. Trump era not one word about prices dropping but lots of OrangeManBad
I wonder if she’ll post anything now.

  2. Dora says:

Everytime I see Swallwell or even just hear his name, I think of a certain odor.

And the left loonies are openly happy and fine with that.

    • lateblum says:

I turned to the “trial” yesterday, and when I saw it was Lieu, I immediately turned it off. I have to admit, if it had been almost anyone else, I probably would have turned it off as well. I so loathe these very evil democrats.
I’m grateful there are people who can put their internal thoughts and feelings aside to watch and then report. And I’m grateful to you, Dora, for posting it here.

  5. DeniseVB says:

    Is it over yet ?

  6. Dora says:

This is infuriating! He better not get away with this!

    • Anthony says:

I’ve already tried jumping on this bandwagon, but it was explained to me that because I wasn’t Christian’s spouse or family, I don’t have the credentials to join any forthcoming legal action should there be any.

I felt so defeated for a moment, but soon figured out that I can STILL legally shoot my mouth off publicly and in that way, avenge Christian’s wrongful death from neglect and abuse. I will shit-talk this criminal governor until I draw my last breath, and that breath will be spent cursing Cuomo.

      • swanspirit says:

        Cuomo deserves a lynch mob.

      • lateblum says:

I will support you all the way! It’s okay that you can’t be on the suit. As long as, like all who supported Janice Dean’s very public crusade, you continue to “fight like hell” against Cuomo and his murder spree.
I am so sorry for your loss and the cruel death of your Christian. 💜

      • jadzia1971 says:

        That really sucks. I’m sorry.

      • lyn5 says:

We stand with you, Anthony. ❤

      • Locked-N-Loaded says:

        Right by your side Anthony!!

      • Mt.Laurel says:

So sorry you had to deal with draconian silliness Anthony. And these are h3 same overlords who call the peons out for every perceived infraction against the state.

So many people have no bio family or spouses near them and they bar anyone else from providing comfort and companionship when it is most needed.

I admit I was so glad both mom and auntie had their last bad spells while visiting home town. Relatives a plenty and I put down a couple of moms younger friends as “cousins”. Mom may or may not have been aware who was who much of the time as the Alzheimer’s really worsened in the hospital and skilled facility but she was never alone.

hillary is 44 / trumpet’s account has been suspended ———-its been a blog since 2007———–any idea whats going on

    • DeniseVB says:

That’s all I found too, the suspension notice. Just searching Hillary is 44 blog brings up a lot of links, maybe there’s some clues there too?

      • taw46 says:

Wow, I can’t believe that. I read the blog all the time in 2007/2008. Tapered off, then returned when they were all Trump 2015/2016. Still would go over there occasionally these last 4 years. Admin wrote great posts.

        • taw46 says:

The last time I was over there, I saw speculation in the comments that Admin might shut it down, since Trump was gone. But it sounds like the web host closed it.

ALERT: Man Trump Hired To Lower Drug Prices FOUND DEAD

Cleveland.com has reported that Daniel Best, a former pharmaceutical executive hired by President Trump’s Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar and charged with finding ways to lower prescription drug prices, has killed himself.

Best joined HHS in March. Two months ago, Best delivered a speech outlining ways to lower costs, make it easier for generics and biosimilar drugs to enter the market, and rethinking drug rebate programs that serve to drive up prices.

There are A LOT of suicides happening in the federal government these days. Two of the Capitol Hill police involved in the January 6th mostly peaceful protests have killed themselves. My guess is Deep State is in charge of clean ups.

Today is the Chinese or Lunar New Year. Before I moved to the middle of nowhere, tonight would have been a trip to the local Chinese dive bar for their special celebration. It was in walking distance so all we needed was a map in our pockets in case we got lost on the 1/4 mile walk home. It was a circle walk so it didn’t matter which way we turned when we left the restaurant as long as we kept turning in that direction until we could see our house. The staff there is wonderful and still asks after us when my kids go in for a meal. It was a favorite spot for my whole family, and when my daughter’s in-laws were visiting from Ohio, they always asked to go there, too. No one has broken my score in the bar trivia game yet. The trick is not to start drinking until the game is over. 🙂

But here the closest thing that passes for a Chinese restaurant is 12 miles away and not worth the drive so I’m on my own. When I went to culinary school , the focus was on European style cooking so I’m a rank amateur when it comes to Asian food. I didn’t remember the holiday was this week when I ordered my groceries so this will be “pantry cooking”. I think I can manage some teriyaki chicken and some fried rice. No scallions in the fridge to make pancakes. 😦 I need to make some “leftover rice” before I can make dinner. You need cold rice to get it to fry. Warm rice steams. Ellie loves fried rice, but I’ve never made any for Hank. When Samantha was on a special diet, I used to cook pounds and pounds of rice for her.

    • lateblum says:

Ha! I ordered Chinese food last night, and have leftovers. So I’m good. 🙃

    • John Denney says:

Not Chinese, but close; I made this recently & it was awesome. The other KFC. 😉

As an experiment to make it gluten free, I made it again, substituting crushed rice crackers & corn crackers for panko, and it was even more awesome, making the coating more crackly crunchy.

Then I made wing dinner where I marinated the wings in my favorite herbs, salt, sugar, garlic, onion, & tomato powders, then rolled them in the potato starch/cracker mix to which I’d added spices like ginger, cloves, mace, black pepper, sichuan pepper, mustard powder, & home grown tabasco chile powder. Ate ’em with no sauce & it was awesome, too.

      • elliesmom says:

That sounds delicious.Around the corner from the Chinese place was a Korean restauranr, a Thai place, a Brazilian barbecue, and a taco shop. While the restaurants where I live now have great seafodd, and the Italian places are very good, there’s not as much variety.

    • Mt.Laurel says:

I am cheating and using the frozen of Chang fried rice. I add my own egg and I have the chicken marinading. I did remember to add dumplings to my shopping order. Glad I got it. Went out yesterday and cleaned the ice off my car thinking I would just run out for fresh produce before the next round of icy crap today. But decided after I was done I was cold and sore and would eat mushy bananas and toss the old spinach with some sliced turkey sausage in with chicken broth, orzo and cheese and pretend it was wedding soup.

I was doing a yap with my BFF about being a dimocrat. You don’t share 30 years of knowing each other and not own respect for each other. I made in roads because Holly’s mom wants to write a book about her. She is dead. Cervical cancer. Her brother married Chelsea Clinton. We had a rough few years she still believes in that democratic party from our college days. I don’t know that it ever existed but it sure doesn’t now. Today it is filled with hate. We had a long talk about my Aunt Sarah. She wet the bed and seemed like Alzheimer’s had taken her. My cousin Carole and I be white trash. She is my sister. That is how we poor roll. Cousins are everything when you own nothing. The hospital went hard core trying to force my Aunt Dunny into assisted living. I went through it with my father. Yeah I call her Dunny cause it sounds funny. They wanted to kill my dad. How about Fuck off. James Herbert Joseph lived 5 years after they said he was spent. He gived my baby girl so much because he held on. I as you know love my dish towel. Brat is my everything. I honestly could not have taught her what she has learned. My daddy had COPD but he coached girls softball. Shay shines because a man decided to try and live with what he had left. The girls all went to his wake. My cousin Carole called me. Who calls idiot Tim. Our Aunt had a urinary tract infection. I saided me be a first class bitch. I climbed up Salsbury Hill Grab your things I came to take you home. My heart going boom boom boom. Sarah had an issue with pee. They was gonna extinguish my Dunny. Homey don’t participate with assholes. There was a day way back yonder they threw me away. Aunt Sarah was not a fan of the silly games. Tim was dying. Life didn’t posess much use. She was cunt. I love the word cunt. No one could come near me. I had the scary. Open heart and a nasty hole in my throat. No one touched a kid grasping for a tincture of air. I did done lived. I might enjoy loving my aunt with cunt. I will laugh and chuckle hard. Go ahead let’s try and play. Can gunks like bette midler give it all to a tiny person that in spite of murderers like Coumo and Wolf you say somehow ya gets a way to make a better way. Can I really accept my idgit.

  30. Somebody says:

I am alive and unfortunately in a hospital room☹

Don’t know the extent until pathology report comes back. The node that was swollen on MRI lit up on the PET scan. That node was always going to be removed, but they did dye mapping and removed more. I’m not sure how many.

My urethra did not light up, but tumor was very close and surgeon doesn’t know about the margins. Because of that and nodes I may have to have radiation, but if I do that won’t start for a couple of months until I’m fairly healed.

Also because of closeness to urethra I have a catheter that will probably stay for a bit. Surgeon is concerned swelling may render me unable to urinate. I’m cool with having a catheter but right now I’d prefer it was out. I constantly feel like I’ve sat through a long movie or ballgame and I gotta go NOW. They can’t tell me why, catheter or swelling or if/when this sensation will go away🙄

Thanks for all the well wishes guys😘

Exclusive: Dozens of former Republican officials in talks to form anti-Trump third party

(Reuters) – Dozens of former Republican officials, who view the party as unwilling to stand up to former President Donald Trump and his attempts to undermine U.S. democracy, are in talks to form a center-right breakaway party, four people involved in the discussions told Reuters.

IOW, Trump broke BOTH parties 🤣
Egg McMuffin is at the center of it. So its the Romney and Bush lackeys who think that the American people forgot what sleazebags they’ve shown themselves to be.

Evan McMullin, who was chief policy director for the House Republican Conference and ran as an independent in the 2016 presidential election, told Reuters that he co-hosted the Zoom call with former officials concerned about Trump’s grip on Republicans and the nativist turn the party has taken.
