I remember when I first discovered Rush in the 00’s and agreeing with everything he said and he was funny too. Liberals lied to me about him being a KKK leader of hatey-hate and must not ever tune him in ! Bo Snerdly was black. Hmmm? Was I being lied to? LOL. I also remember that God Awful Air America Network the left started to compete with Rush and the rest of conservative talents. What a bomb of bitterness !

  2. elliesmom says:

My father-in-law loved listening to Rush. When he moved to assisted living, the other residents tried to comvince him Rush was an evil nasty person so he decided they were the evil nasty ones. He was right. The reaction from the left has been abominable. I think the basis for it is jealously. They have never been able to find their own Rush. Witty, smart, and always on point. I don’t listen to the radio very much, but when I was with my father-in-law, I looked forward to listening to Rush with him.

  4. Anthony says:

As someone who has been known to shit-talk the dead with great impudence (but only when they have it coming, like John McCain and eventually Andrew Cuomo), all I can say about Rush is that he should rest in peaceful slumber. I didn’t listen to his show, but that doesn’t mean I don’t agree with much of what he had to say or that I wouldn’t have been a fan had I listened.

    • DeniseVB says:

Rush was my walking buddy via my Walkman, I just don’t listen to AM radio at home. The fact the left hated him so much helped me transition away from the Democratic plantation of sitting down and shutting up. Rush made fun of how Dems manipulated their sheeple with hate and fear then projected that on him. I found him surprisingly entertaining 😀

      • Dr. Myiq2xu says:

Rush was an acquired taste that I never acquired. Back when I was a liberal Democrat at the mention of his name I would ritually make the sign of the Klown and spit between my fingers to ward off evil spirits. But I never listened to him or read his books.

If Rush was reincarnated as an SJW liberal and given a radio show it would flop because:

        1. Liberals have no sense of humor
        2. He would be forced to spread leftist propaganda and nobody wants to hear that crap.

    • lyn5 says:

Lovely words, Anthony, because they also apply to me.

      • lyn5 says:

Cough. Your words described me: I also never listened to Rush, but I may listen to him now if his shows are available.

When I taught a physics and engineerin class to high school kids, one of the projects was to build a rover that could make it down the length of one of the school’s long hallways. I supplied the kids with a small electric motor and a couple of AA batteries. Then they were on their own working in pairs. The school principal loved to drop into the class and lend his “expertise”. By the 3rd semester he had learned enough from the kids to build his own rover. He showed up on “test day” with one to compete with them. There was no speed component to the race. The hard part was getting the rover to travel in a straight enough line it didn’t bump into the walls. He lost to a team of girls who built a rover that “walked” instead of rolling on wheels. From that point on he became a semi-permanent visitor to my class. The other teachers asked me if I found it intimidating to always have the big boss looking over my shoulder. I just laughed. It became one of the best funded classes in the science department.

      • DeniseVB says:

I thought of your class experiments and inventions the other day and wondered if the kids could design a riding vacuum cleaner? For my new goals of aging in place, I started thinking of things that would make that easier. Or just hire a cleaning service, probably cheaper and easier to maintain. 😀

        • elliesmom says:

Do you have a Roomba? The robot vacuun cleaners work pretty well these days. If you’re not going to need to be able to control it with your phone from 50 miles away, they’re come down a lot in price. I have to physically push a button to get mine started, but it finds its way around the house quite well and returns on its own to it’s recharging base. It gets under the furniture without my having to move anything. I keep a regular vacuum cleaner in the house, too, but I seldom use it. Mostly when I need a quick run over the floor because someone has pulled into the driveway. 😉 I have the one that mops the floor, too, but that doesn’t do as good a job as a mop does. I do highly recommend the vacuum, though. My niece has the one made by Shark. She has 4 dogs, and it gets all the dog hair. Mine is the Roomba brand.

          • Mothy67 says:

I have a few. Love, love, love my roombas. I actually got my first when I owned a bar. It was pretty basic. I had to run it twice, but it saved me lots of time. Later I bought the pet hair version for the home. It is a joy. I have two dogs and it is like vaccuming 4x the amount of Bella it picks up.

          • Somebody says:

We have ecovac deebots, they have freaking laser beams🤣 They map out your house which pops up on an app on your phone. You can draw imaginary lines, make them do all kinds of stuff, none of which I have ever done. I walk over and push the button😉 My husband insists on using his phone and IMO it takes too long, open phone, open app, select which vacuum (we have several).

You should really consider getting some type of robotic vacuum cleaner, although a cleaning service will dust and scrub the bathrooms😉

How I wish you could have taught my kids!!!!

        • elliesmom says:

I wasn’t everyone’s piece of cake. If you liked a teacher who is a great lecturer, that wasn’t me. Teachers are either ‘the sage on the stage” or “the guide on the side”. One of my classes worked with the local power company to do an energy audit of the school. We went to a school committee meeting to present our findings. The kids took their places up front, and I sat in the back. At the end of their presentation one of the school committee members asked the kids if their teacher had neglected to attend the meeting with them. They said, “No, she’s just in the back seat and letting us drive.” Kids who were quiet and shy did fine in my class, but the ones whose goal it was to be invisible had a hard time.

Who the hell would pay twitter to censor/delay your tweets?

When asked, PDJT said on Greg Kelly’s show last night that he would not return to twitter after the way they treated him. He also said Parler cannot handle his number of followers, they just aren’t set up for the volume. He said they are looking at options, perhaps starting their own site.

    • DeniseVB says:

PDJT doesn’t need any of those platforms, they need him 😀 GAB is trying, but still not enjoying it like I did Twitter.

      • Mothy67 says:

It’s one sided. Yawn. I had learned on twitter to weed out sources– I will see something on Gab and not know how reliable it is. Some spiel about new CiC not actually taking the military reigns until 60 days after inauguration. Oh, I wish. Fantasy that all the fencing is to keep them in not us out! Way to much Q. Do like getting the vacc stuff which I the can look up. But it is an echo chamber.
Are most of you getting the vacc? I am not. I have never had the flu. I can’t ever recall a cold. I have brutal allergies but no thanks. My episode when I was told after a swab that I had kung flu was bs. No way results were verified and I felt no worse than I do on most days. I get moving drink tons of water and feel better. I self isolated, but was never contacted again. I called urgent care no I was considered “likely” because I was exposed and had symtoms which I said were allergy. Blah, blah, blah. They weren’t cray cray about it and receptionist said she hadn’t been told to get back to me.
They were great, but because of how politicized it became and how fudged numbers were a chance to learn from a global contagion was squashed. That’s a pity. A lot could have been studied.

Lots on gab about gates buying up farmland and his push for growing meat. Is he going to be able to control the food production. Creepy shit. I wish it was a conspiracy, but he is saying it. We will get used to the taste. How sick di you have to be to think it is your role to dictate the world’s diet? Only the affluent will have real meat. Yuck.

    • Mothy67 says:

Don’t know if this is worthwhile but what the hell

    • Constance says:

Gates is just the type of destructive shithead that will live to be 100. I keep looking at Soros, Kerry, Pelosi, McConnell, Gates and a few others and thinking Die already! How old are these people going to get? Haven’t they destroyed enough? It seems like Gates is having an age crisis. There ought to be an Epstein Island populated by sex robots that you could isolate age crisis males on. They do so much damage to their families and if they are powerful to the communities and country they are in, just trying to look relevant.

  15. lateblum says:

I am watching more snow fall on the still unplowed street where I live. I have spent more than 8 hours – probably twice that – shoveling snow from around my car and clearing snow off my car and shoveling the walk (because our “building engineer” doesn’t get to us until after 2:30 at the earliest). If it hadn’t been for the help of two men who live in one of the apartments in the building, it would’ve taken me 3 hours to clear my car just from the last 18” snowfall.
Earlier today I had to clean off the driver side of the car and then drive half a block to get to the alley entrance so I could get out and clear off the passenger side because the snow that had been plowed on that street left 5 to 8 feet high piles because there’s no place to put the snow. Intersections are very dangerous. No one can see oncoming traffic. So entering the street can be life threatening. My street is unplowed because a neighbor did not clear off his car or move it – it was encased in snow and ice – and the street itself is so narrow that a plow could not complete a pass down the block without annihilating the car and getting stick mid-block. So our block was bypassed. If I had known whose car it was, I’d have rung the bell and offered to work WITH him to get the car out and moved. I’m certain others would’ve done the same.
It’s past noon and the snow that started falling before 6:00 am is still falling. I’m going to have to go out and clean the car again because I have to take my friend back to the vet’s to get her cat pretty soon. I generally like winter. I generally like the snow. I don’t know why I feel so imposed upon by this year’s weather. I mean, I know it could be so much worse. I could be in Texas and have real problems.
Has anyone heard from McNorman today?

I just looked at CA kung flu stats. I think there were almost as many deaths a month ago in a day as total cases today. How dumb do they think we are????? Just wow!

    • 1539days says:

New cases and deaths are dropping like a rock. Besides the millions of doses, something like 1 out of 5 people in polls said they’ve already gotten COVID. It will be almost impossible for the government to force anyone to take the vaccine because by the time all the sheeple get it that want it, the death (and infection) rate will be zero.
