Oh my word, high altitude Chaz has just formed in southern Colorado, and this is the funniest (though Black Hammer is tres serious) thread I’ve read in a long time. Where’s Darth Maul when you need him? 😀

Your comment on the last post about the lady with the condors on her deck reminded me of the day my daughter texted me from inside her car because she had been surrounded by wild turkeys. She wanted to know what to do with them. She got mad at me because I sent her a link to turkey recipes.

      • DeniseVB says:

LOL ! Have always wondered if wild turkeys are as delicious as Butterballs ? There were great suggestions on repelling condors, I know I’d call the Condor people first and let them come out and fix them or the shotgun would come out, well, maybe fire over their heads 😉

        • elliesmom says:

Wild turkeys aren’t nearly as plump and juicy as Butterballs. They haven’t been injected with all of those tasty juices. The flavor is stronger, and the meat isn’t quite as tender. One of my older brothers was a really good hunter. After many hours of practice shooting rats at the dump, he graduated to wild turkeys and pheasant. My grandmother lived with us, and she’d squeal with delight when he’d come through the door with his big burlap bag. She’d go to work preparing whatever was in the bag for the oven or stew pot.

When the town where my Girl Scout troop was located was having it’s bicentennial, we had a “colonial encampment” for all the girls in town. My troop had the oldest Girl Scouts in it so they went all out, including arriving in period costume. They decided they wanted to roast a goose over a campfire for dinner. I bought a goose from a local farmer, but I had it “pre-killed”. I knew if it arrived alive, it would go home as someone’s pet, and we’d have peanut butter sandwiches for dinner, but the girls had to pluck it and dress it. One of the things they walked away from the experience with was just how long it took colonial ladies to get a meal on the table.

    • Miranda says:

At least they bought the land.

      • DeniseVB says:

According to the people who know the terrain, doesn’t seem crop or livestock friendly to live off, even if there a patch of fertile land, the altitude is not crop friendly. Then there’s water rights……not a very bright group. 😀

        • Miranda says:

No, but if they want to buy land and go bankrupt, that’s fine with me. As long as they don’t try to trespass and ‘occupy’ someone else’s property.

      • Constance says:

Their plan works for me. Build your own commune within the system and leave your neighbors alone. They can be the Woke Amish. But they need skills like slaughtering their animals that they raise and canning the meat, and then farming is an actual skill. I hope they make it for a few years. Personally I start to feel sick at about 4000 feet if I’m exercising.

      • elliesmom says:

In the 1840s Bronson Alcott, Louisa May’s father, convinced a friend to buy a farm in Harvard, a small town west of Boston, to begin a commune. Alcott couldn’t buy the land himself because he was penniless from other ventures he had tried and failed. He moved his family and a dozen or so other people into an old farmhouse and barn on the land. The group pledged to become strict vegetarians, not even using animals to help them work the land. No artificial lighting of any kind and no heating water for bathing. Alcott was by profession a teacher and part of the transcendentalist movement, which included Ralph Waldo Emerson, but Emerson remained in his large white mansion in the center of downtown Concord. Alcott moved his people into what he now named “Fruitlands” during the middle of the summer. Planting season was mostly over, but they managed to plant a few acres. By midwinter they closed up shop because they had nothing to eat. Louisa May wrote about her life at Fruitlands in “Transcendental Wild Oats”.

The group Alcott founded belleved a lot of the same things young people espouse today. They didn’t believe in private ownership of land. They thought the future depended on people not using animals for food. Alcott believed children knew best how the world should work, and old people should follow the young.. He also didn’t believe in commerce. The commune didn’t trade goods and services with the outside community. When Alcott gave up on the commune, Emerson bought him a house for his family in downtown Concord.

The place is a museum today. The original farmhouse is still there. There’s an art museum with 19th century paintings, a native American crafts display, and a vegetarian restaurant. In the summer there’s a concert series, and it’s a popular site for hippy-dippy weddings. Everything is there for today’s young people to see and learn from, but since everything that’s happened in the past was racist, the lessons of how to fail miserably at building a utopian society are lost and doomed to be repeated. The number one lesson learned at Fruitmands was farming is hard work. A lesson the Plimouth Pilgrims learned the hard way, too, 200 years before Alcott learned it almost 200 years ago.

Meet Bishop Garrison: The Pentagon’s Hatchet Man in Charge of Purging MAGA Patriots and Installing Race Theory in The Military

We now know the hatchet man the Pentagon has selected to carry out this MAGA purge of the American defense forces, and the entire operation is worse than you could have ever imagined.

The Biden administration has just put the equivalent of Ibram X. Kendi in charge of vetting the entire U.S. military.

This hatchet man’s name is Bishop Garrison, Senior Advisor to the Secretary of Defense for Diversity and Inclusion:

Dr. Mercola deletes all articles about Vitamin D, zinc and covid after being personally threatened

For the past year, Dr. Joseph Mercola has been teaching his followers how to naturally support their immune systems with vitamin D, zinc and other natural remedies that have been medically proven to optimize wellbeing. He has received so much backlash from the establishment, however, that Dr. Mercola has now decided to delete all associated articles about these protocols for his own protection.

n an announcement, Dr. Mercola explained that one of the last straws was when a Bill Gates-funded “doctor” called on terrorists to personally attack Dr. Mercola for countering the pro-vaccine agenda of Gates and other medical fascists who have raked in obscene profits over the past year pushing masks, jabs and small business closures.

Sh/e certainly says all the right things 🙂 I think this may just draw attention to the militant LGBTQ for all the wrong reasons because they hate Caitlyn so much now. Sweet, sweet hypocrisy.

    • elliesmom says:

I don’t usually watch Hannity, but I did last night so I could see that interview. I would really like to ask if Bruce is truly happier as Caitlyn. So many clips of Bruce in that ad. Such a masculine young man. It’s hard to believe Bruce “felt like a woman trapped in a man’s body”. Did Bruce miss the limelight and is using Caitlyn to get it back? How fake the left is really shows when a black person or a member of the LGBT community refuses to bend the knee to them, and I think Jenner can handle it and expose it. Maybe Caitlyn has a better chance of being elected governor than Bruce would have, but I find difficult to believe he’s happier personally. But then, I don’t know what it means to “feel like a woman”.

      • 1539days says:

Regardless of the psychology behind it, I always thought the medical community started to do “sex change” operations because it was a challenge and it appealed to the desire for doctors to play God. While some people may have come to felling “trapped” in the wrong body on their own, most transgender realizations happened after therapy.

I felt like she was a little ‘not ready for prime time’ and Sean helped her in a few things and there was some minor meandering – but overall the idea of being ‘solutions oriented’ and ‘The California Dream’ are terrific themes. The ‘plane hangar’ location and idea that she’s rich and only has rich friends is the shit-meme the left are slinging…. but after that incredibly good first ad, I’m betting she’s got real pros that will get her up to speed on interviewing and answering questions, etc. If she can become half as slick as that ad, she’s got a real shot… and you can’t count out the fact that when she was a he, she was a Champion. There really must be a fighter in there. So far, she has my vote.

      • lyn5 says:

Thank Brad Pascale for the ad.

“Comments online decried another reality TV personality seeking public office. Indeed, Ms Jenner’s ad was produced by Brad Pascale, Donald Trump’s former campaign manager. She is known to have met with other Republican strategists.” (Yahoo!life)

        • jeffhas says:

Yeah – I get that, and Brad is a talent… apparently a tightly-wound-ready-to-blow-talent, but a talent nonetheless. I think the Caitlyn campaign is good therapy for him, and if he loses he can’t come out any more damaged then he already is, but if he wins?! – it’ll help his resurrection and he’ll be hot commodity #1.

          Still, ad was brilliant.

  12. threewickets says:

    Some possibly helpful oversimplification.

The House of Rothschilds controls most of the world’s CIA-MSM. When we say Rothschilds, we generally mean Carlyle-Bourbons, Uncle Sam, Bushes, CFR, the media world of Disney ABC, Warner-CNN, FOX these days. Marilyn and Warren Buffet and Goldman Sachs are on top.

Closely related is the House of Rockefeller. There we mean Tawana Billary and the pink triangles layer of the CIA-MSM. Key pillars include the global cock-blocking obsessed and “Green” Rockefeller Institute for population eugenics, the Gates Foundation, JP Morgan, Amazon, Walmart, NBC and its media satellites. Billary are on top.

Then we have Louis B. Mayer who overlaps a lot with the other two. Mayer had four sons that I’m aware of: dead Kissinger with Garbo, dead Sheldon with Dorothy, alive Bloomberg with Astor, alive Schwarzman with Marilyn. Mayer is the MGM-NASA fake news galore world of the CIA-MSM. CBS-Viacom is its anchor. Schwarzman and Bloomberg originate the fake news with AP, Reuters, Bloomberg, CBS. Blackstone, Blackrock private equity.

So there you have it. Rothschilds, Tawana Billary, Bloomberg run the world. Schwarzman is Crown Prince to succeed Queen Marilyn. The future looks very very fake.

    • Constance says:

I believe shadowy, long rich families run the world and want even more power but I doubt people like Bill and Hillary or Obama, who were born poor nobodies, have any real power in the scheme of things. Bill might have the brains to plan and scheme but Hillary and Obama are just soulless, power hungry, bodies willing to fill a role and pose for the cameras.

      • threewickets says:

Bill Clinton is David Rockefeller’s son. Obama is Uncle Sam P. Bush’s grandson and Jimmy Stewart’s son. Hillary is another Garbo kid, and her dad is Harry S. Truman. 20th century Bourbon America was about eugenics and test tube babies. Very big deal.

All Republicans should bend the knee to President Trump, honey.

    • lyn5 says:

    • DeniseVB says:

Nobody’s asking them to bend a knee to anybody, just be on our side, which Trump seemed to be the only Republican that was. RINO women are more annoying than the men.

      • elliesmom says:

The only organized group of women I have ever been associated with that were pleasant to be around as a group is the Society of Women Engineers. I’ve met wonderful women in every group I’ve ever joined or worked with, but as a group, with that one exception, women are unpleasant people to be around. One good thing that came out of the pandemic was it made me slow down in the process of joining the DAR. The one woman I’ve kept I see at the Rhode Island National History events, and I swear when I see her there, she’s a totally different person.

        • Constance says:

My Engineer daughter joined a sorority for the first 10 days of college and the Society of Women Engineers also invited her a bunch of places (high ropes course, river rafting, zip lining). Within a few days she was calling home asking how she could get herself out of the sorority because she couldn’t stand the rules and she wanted to spend her time with the engineers and the people who hung at the outdoor center. She still likes the activities the women engineers put together. The Christmas party gingerbread building meeting and the under the street tour of the new Seattle sea wall were big hits.

  15. Constance says:

Ok here is my Arizona recount observations. I have concluded that I can’t figure out what they are doing. I have been watching camera 3 which is the ballot storage area. They seem to check the same boxes in and out multiple times. I realized that all boxes were going to both the weighing/scanning stations and also the counting stations early on. Now I think that the counting stations might be counting different races, they have blue, green, yellow and red hand counting stations. So they open new pallets and check out boxes to the stations. Then sometimes after counting just half the boxes on a pallet they open a new pallet and just leave the partially counted pallet sitting there. Also they are not reassembling the pallets they just leave the boxes stacked in an orderly manner on the floor.
So around the 14th of May there is a high school tournament in the facility they are renting so they will shut down for 4 or 5 days. Then they expect to start up again, this time with many more counting teams and go until every ballot is counted. It looks to me like Miracopa county has 5 federal house of representatives members. Three are Republicans and two are Democrats. The two Senators are Democrats. Now I’m thinking those races are being hand recounted also.

    • Constance says:

I just listened to a PBS interview with the president of the AZ senate and she said they are recounting the presidential votes as well as the US Senate votes ONLY. They would have to recount the whole state to be able to recount the house seats because their house districts overlap in multiple counties. When the counting stations are in counting mode they count about 10 ballots a minute so that is 3 people at each station counting the same 10 ballots per minute. So now I am pretty sure the different colored counting stations are counting different races and that is why they keep checking the same boxes out of the inventory. I would say it appears that any of the ware-housemen can locate any specific box within a minute, they are that organized. The AZ senate Prez said that one member of the press went to a door that was locked to the outside and pushed it open so a mob of “press” could enter unchecked and so that is why they had to hire police to guard all entrances.

I think they were married long before microsoft and the billions? So she should be cool for half all the money in the world? 🙂 Girlfriend, just take it and run !

      • elliesmom says:

No, Bill co-founded Microsoft a long time before he met and married Melinda, but they live in a community property state, and word is there’s no pre-nup. Word is also that he’s been cheating on her so she should walk away a very wealthy woman.

      • Constance says:

Melinda was worth some 20 million when she married him. His mother pushed the marriage. There are multiple pictures of Bill and Epstein, he has probably made her skin crawl for years but she stuck it out until her youngest child was 18. The kids are 25 (soon to be married), 22 and 18.

        • lyn5 says:

Bill transferred $1.9 billion in stock to Melinda on Monday.

          • lyn5 says:

I got this info from Tammy Bruce’s podcasts.

          • Constance says:

I think their kids use a different last name. But they will need guards for the rest of their life. As far as I’m concerned her own money, a house of her choice, lifetime security for herself and the children, she chooses the security he pays the bill and 1.9 billion should be sufficient. With the kids being over 18 she doesn’t need to let a court force unwanted visitations and holidays on them or shared custody. They are adults, they can visit him or not.
However I am pretty sure Mrs ex Bezos got 35 billion.

          • Somebody says:

1.9 billion is NOT enough, he’s worth almost ten times that amount. They don’t have a pre-nup so she should get half.

Bill has said time and again he has no intention of leaving anything to his kids. Melinda may feel that way too, but if she doesn’t this is her chance to secure not only her future but her children and grandchildren’s too.

  18. Somebody says:

Update, I started radiation yesterday and I start simultaneous chemo on Monday. Treatment is to last 6 weeks, I think it is 6 weeks starting Monday, but maybe starting this past Wednesday.

I felt as though am angel was looking down on me yesterday. I know a woman that runs the radiation equipment at the hospital I’m going to. Her granddaughter lives at the end of my street, she sometimes would be at the bus stop in the morning at O’dark thirty. Her husband would be there in the afternoon, her daughter is a single mom or was until last year. This woman has been there more than 30 years, I think she’s the most senior person there. Her husband is retired and really wants her to retire, she flirts with it and then says, nope I can’t.

So yesterday a woman approaches me that looks like her, but of course has a mask covering her face. She tells me she is in charge of my treatment and walks me back. As we’re walking back she says, “I noticed your address, I live near there and thought your name sounded familiar, do we know each other?” I said “Yes from the bus stop, how’s XX doing in middle school this year?” Then I pulled down my mask and said it’s me Angie. She gave me a big hug and started crying. I started crying too and told her I was glad I had her and that I was scared. She told me she was going to take good care of me, promised me she’s damn good at her job and told me she intended to kill every damn cancer cell.

In just a minute her team came out to see what was the matter because we’re embracing and sobbing in the hallway. I guess they didn’t realize I was a patient. When they came out, she snapped out of it and told them they had best be on their A game that I was very special. She told me to trust her and she’d be with me every step of the way.❤

The radiation is taking a lot longer than what I was told. When I had my measurements done they said the actual radiation part is only 2 to 5 minutes. Well THAT was a lie, apparently MWF are my long days and I’m on the table 45 minutes to an hour😲 Tuesday and Thursday are shorter days 20 to 30 minutes. I think it’ll be closer to 20, but today was longer because there were 3 doctors in there making more marks, somehow scanning to measure the amount of radiation in certain areas. They came in twice during treatment. When I was done the tech commented, “Boy they are really being precise with you”. I said, well precise is good, no? She said, sure but they (meaning these doctors) don’t usually get involved like that. So I said, that isn’t normal? She said no.

I don’t know if that’s a good thing or a bad thing. My doctor wasn’t there, not sure if he sent them or the lady I know running the machines called them in. All I know is they will be back tomorrow and I was told it’s going to be a L-O-N-G day. That should be fun🙄 I have to have a full bladder during treatment😳

I’m just taking it one day at a time, that’s all I can do. I am a bit surprised that I can feel the radiation already. It’s not bad, just a few tender areas, but again I was led to believe for the first 3 weeks I wouldn’t even think they were doing anything. Somewhere between 3 and 4 weeks I’d get tender and it would get worse every day until the end. So I’m a bit apprehensive, but maybe it’ll just stay at this level for 3 to 4 weeks?

I plan to enjoy myself this weekend and pig out because from what I understand come Monday I’ll be lucky to hold down water😲 If I can’t I’ll get IV fluids daily🥺 I stocked up on protein shakes, applesauce, crackers and other assorted items. As long as I can hold liquids I’ll be alright, I’ve got fat reserves🤭 Supposedly the really bad nausea will only last until Thursday night, I should be able to tolerate small amounts of bland food Friday through Sunday.

In other news we’re having new carpet installed in the bedrooms Saturday. It’s been here for 8 weeks, but Saturday was the first day the installers had free🙄 We had tried to time it for in-between surgery recovery and treatment….FAIL🙄 Anthony laughed and said I was having it installed just in time for vomiting season🤮 It’s stainmaster, so maybe I’ll give their warranty a run for the money😉
