What a great idea! Those shells ate easily found on our beaches. Thanks Denise.

Note to self: I have got to get me a hot glue gun 😀

    • elliesmom says:

Just a heads-up for new-to-the-glue hot glue decorators. My house faces south, and on a hot sunny day anything I make to hang on my door using hot glue is likely to fall apart as the sun heats up the glue- especially if I use a low-temp gun. A glue gun is a fun crafting tool to have, but go for the hot-hot glue gun if you live in warm place. Coming home and finding my wreath looking like it got caught in a spider web of glue was kind of funny, but peeling all of the glue off the door not so much.

I hope this means she’ll be released from juvvie and head to the big house and not free free? That was a heinous crime for a 15 yr old. This is not justice for the driver 😦

    • elliesmom says:

Pleading guilty is probably her trade for being tried as a juvenile, which would make the release true release. If she had been tried as an adult, at 18 she’d be sent to an adult prison.

All these politicians are dying for compulsory injections, but the Supreme Court hasn’t quite degraded enough to allow that. Andrew Cuomo has moved on from killing old people to endangering kids by trying to make COVID vaccines mandatory for attending college next semester. However, that one will not be possible until the FDA takes off the “emergency use” authorization and says it’s a-ok to reprogram DNA in teenagers.

NY is going with the tried and true method of bribing people to be guinea pigs. If you look at the number of new cases, most of that is using bad methodology. People with the vaccine test positive and many of those cases are “suspected” because COVID tests were never required to report an infection. This disease has largely run its course.

      • Somebody says:

My area seems to have maxed out on vaccines, after going like gang busters. We have a large senior population and 85% opted for the vaccine. Our overall population fully vaccinated is 38%, we have almost another 5% that has had one shot, plus 12% that had and recovered from covid.

For the past two weeks the gap between partially and fully vaccinated has closed, but new takers hasn’t risen much. A fraction of a percent is all the increase we’ve seen and those are probably tourists. DeSantis dropped ID requirement two weeks ago supposedly so illegals would come out of shadows to get vaccine. I figured we’d just get more vaccine tourism.

Florida isn’t going to force anybody to get the vaccine. The vaccine rate seems to be shaping up similar to annual flu vaccine, slightly below actually

        • 1539days says:

I think the vaccine tourism is largely over. NY has a surplus and I can finally get a J&J vaccine if I were so inclined. Other states are now threatening mandates they can’t enforce. In my county, like a half dozen people are in the hospital with COVID and that number is only going down.

I saw this buzzy news from Oregon too, are the A’s thinking about moving to Portland?

      • Constance says:

I used to like Portland but why would anyone move there now? Due to rigged elections it has been taken over by the Authoritarian Marxist sub humans and they enjoy creating squalor.

Hidden Gem Locations. I was wondering where everybody went. 🙂

Where the wealthy fled to: The rich left cities like NYC and Chicago during the pandemic and moved to ‘hidden gem’ locations including Salt Lake City and Phoenix

    • DeniseVB says:

I often think about Anthony and if he knows what he probably pays in NYC rent can get him and oceanfront condo in South Florida? Of course it’s NYC ❤ So I understand.

I watch the rents up there and the so-called exodus isn't driving those prices down at all. My new favorite places are the Queens and Brooklyn beaches with subway access 😉 How fun would it be to live here, but it's not oceanfront…….

      • Anthony says:

Oh, Anthony knows lol. Our delightful Somebody and her husband have been lobbying me to move to Amelia Island ever since we all met in NYC. She’s not even subtle about it 🤣 One text had a link with the message “You can rent a 3 bedroom 3 bathroom house a few blocks from me for the same price as your 1 bedroom apartment in Manhattan.” She even has a car all picked out for me. Love her for that 💘

    • swanspirit says:

I belong to the local Nextdoor email group, and while we aren’t listed in the hidden gem locations, I have noticed a surprisingly increasing number of people posting ” Hello I just moved into the neighborhood ” posts.
And also numbers of ” Hello, I am planning on moving to this area, which neighborhood do you recommend?”
Many of them are from New York, also D.C.
The local real estate market is off the charts. Homes in this area are only on the market for a few days, and there are people on waiting lists.
Maybe we are a not so hidden gem!
It’s the Land of Pleasant Living, Anthony. 😎

      • lateblum says:

People are moving OUT of Illinois at a fairly good pace. But – and here is the kicker – a condo in my building was listed at $499k about 2 weeks ago and sold in less that 5 days!
There is on,y 1 unit that might be worth that. And this one isn’t it.
If units in my 120yr old building are selling for that much, I can’t ever move. I’d never be able to buy anything else in this town.

        • DeniseVB says:

It really sounds like you’re in a great area living in a charming historic building which probably has better bones than anything built since ? I wouldn’t leave 🙂 Nice having Chicago that close to you, I just hope you get a new Mayor soon and stop the madness in that beautiful city.

          • lateblum says:

Some people in this building have had the ability to make real Improvements to their units and they will reap the rewards. I say this without envy, but only a wish that I’d been able to do the same thing. The unit that sold in less than a week, was so beautifully done that it could have been shown in magazines.

      Never underestimate stupidity.

    • lateblum says:

I “heard” about this but thought it was a joke. I never dreamed people would hoard gas this way in reality. It could hardly be more dangerous – or more selfish.

      • Somebody says:

People in Florida panicked somewhat and this pipeline only impacts the panhandle area. In my area things have sort of calmed down, but for a few days there was a steady clip at the gas station.

I can’t say much, because technically you could say we hoarded gas. We have 4 vehicles and filled them all up, plus our 4 gas cans. We are only driving one of the vehicles, but we have to drive to downtown JAX and back everyday for my treatment. By filling all of the vehicles and gas cans we figured we could siphon gas and get me through my treatment. As it turns out they added a couple of weeks, so we don’t quite have enough, but I don’t think it will be a problem.

        • lateblum says:

I hope it won’t be a problem for you. Or for anyone else who needs lifesaving care.

What I was referring to was people filling plastic bags with fuel and keeping them in their trunks.
I remember when Carter was president and people were driving off with several filled gas cans in their trunks. I don’t know if any actually exploded or caught fire, but I remember stories on the news of fears that could happen. But plastic bags . . . That’s a whole other story.

      • Mt.Laurel says:

I had planned on my normal gas stop as I returned home from the office yesterday as I prefer not to go below half a tank with my long commute as a backup or two on the beltway eats through gas fast. After having to maneuver around various lines at gas stations, decided I would just go home and hope the panic settles somewhat by next week as I do not need to back to Virginia until midweek. It was nuts.

My tin hat has been beeping wondering if this is what they are going to keep doing. Have hackers or what ever just keep disrupting various things to keep people off keel. It has been very clear the backers of Joey and Camel really liked lockdown control.

        • lateblum says:

They also want to make gasoline so costly, people will think twice before the drive anywhere. More control over their subjects.

          • Mt.Laurel says:

And just before Memorial Day and the start of Summer. when people thought they might have a chance of seeing family and friends again.

Can you imagine what these people are going to be like if they live another 20 or 30 years. They will give a whole new meaning to sour-faced.

  13. Constance says:

If anyone is interested they are pulling apart the pallets of ballots that they fenced off last week. Every time they go near these boxes of ballots they have at lest 3 big wig types and a camera. You can see it in the foreground of camera 3 as they have made a specific effort to have the boxes on camera at all times.

    • Myiq2xu says:

If those cameras go off for one second the Democrats will claim the video was edited and the ballots were tampered with.

      • Constance says:

True and they must just be shitting their pants feeling like they have been caught and squirming at the obvious documentation that is going on. Audit people were checking some of the boxes in the fenced area last night. again with a bunch of big wigs present. but last night the pink coat observers from the state election office had their faces pressed up against the fence watching and listening but they were not invited into the cage.

    • Constance says:

OH! Looks like all the scrutiny of the fenced off pallets yesterday and today has drawn some fresh attacks from the AZ election authorities. Katie Hobbs says “yesterday observers from my office spotted a network connection on the server being used to store ballot images, so there is no way to know they haven’t been tampered with” She got an answer back from the audit team who said “As was explained to the observers yesterday there is no wifi in the audit building and we are open to providing all passwords to the routers to back this up.”
So this could get interesting fast, I assume if they have the passwords to the routers they can see all the info that has been gathered so far.
Anyway I think this is a result of the fresh and obvious scrutiny of the fenced in ballot pallets.

      • Constance says:

So they have a box of the guarded ballots out on the yellow counting station. The Audit big wigs, about 5 orange observers and the two pink coats as well as some yellow shirt counters are all looking closely. I can’t zoom in but the only difference I can see is the entire box of ballots seems too stiff. when they pick one up by the corner they remain rigid as if they have never been folded. At any rate they are making a BFD of it all. I can’t wait to see what behavior this precipitates by the Left!

  14. helenk3 says:

my tinfoil hat theory for today
it is really odd that another pipeline is halted. must make the green new deal bunch happy. The dems usual blame Russia cry keeps going on. HOw about they investigate the dems and their tech buddies just to make sure who to blame.

    • Constance says:

Apparently now Gretchen the Gov of Michigan is shutting down a pipeline that runs through her state. What next? Blowing them up? This is looking like a Marxist engineered starvation event since trucks will not be able to move food around the country.

      • Constance says:

You know, this is undoubtedly the Leftist FBI/CIA who shut down the pipeline. I think they are trying to punish states that are opening and thriving. It might be time for the white hats to shut down some Leftist Deep State assets.

        • Locked-N-Loaded says:

I agree with you Constance!! Everything is planned and deliberate by those anti-American leftist commie bastards: the pandemic, shutting down businesses, schools and churches, continued riots in blue cities, stolen election, shutting keystone and colonial pipelines, stopping border wall to let in millions of illegals (approx 2 million this year), demonizing peaceful capitol rally and pro-American patriots. What’s next? Maybe the electric grid goes down, bombings at port cities, major oil spills or massive riots on major interstates?

    • Mt.Laurel says:

I responded to an earlier post along these lines. I guess my foil chapeau is not the only one picking up these signals.

  24. Constance says:
Miricopa county deleted databases from voting equipment before turning it over to the audit team. And some boxes of ballots have missing ballots. AZ Senate President Karen Fann wrote a 3 page letter to the county election board demanding and explanation. It looks to me like they have recovered most of the info.
