The Crawdad Hole 
The past few years deer have jumped my fence and eaten the flowers off my lilies. Last fall I needed to repair my fence, and instead I replaced it with one a foot taller. So far, my lilies are all intact. I don’t know if I’m happy or sad the deer apparently can’t get in anymore. 🙂 😦
I call lilies ‘purina deer and bunny chow’. I saw a bunny eating a lily flower like an ear of corn once. Deer also ate all my sunflowers the year I tried to grow them. Oh, well.
Be happy em, They will find something else to eat. 😀
When my friend moved out to the DC suburbs in MD, she planted tons of deer friendly munchies, they never came 😦
