Butchart Gardens in Vancouver Canada, not far from Constance πŸ˜€ (Seattle, right?)

      • votermom says:

oh thanks – have you ever been? Looks lovely

      • elliesmom says:

We made a stop in Vancouver on our Alaskan trip. The gardens were so beautiful Elliesdad wanted me to declare my Canadian citizenship and move us there. When we think of flower gardens, we don’t think of Canada, but the gardens in the Maritime provinces will stop you in your tracks, too.

      • lyn5 says:

My mother always had to stop there when we traveled to Canada on vacation.

It’s not far from Seattle and Butchart Gardens is really beautiful. I love Victoria on Vancouver Island and then you can drive on up to Butchart Gardens or there are always a bunch of tour buses. You have to take a ferry to Vancouver Island and that is always a beautiful relaxing ride. It is built on the site of a strip mine because the wife of the mine owner couldn’t stand the ugliness left by the mine. They have a really nice gift shop. One time I actually bought a vial of Begonia seeds and had a lot of fun with those for a few years. I’ve never seen Begonia seeds before or after.

It’s mind boggling to me, that a law has to be passed, to insure compliance with the constitution.

    • elliesmom says:

The rush through of the final FDA approval for one of the vaccines is only explained by the approval opening the legal path to mandating the vaccines. As long as the vaccines were still experimental, the optics of mandating them was very bad. From a risk/benefit analysis perspective to a person trying to decide what to do, nothing has changed. The time for testing still hasn’t been long enough. The companies still opened up who was getting the placebo and let those people opt to take the vaccine so the control group is still gone. The only real thing to watch for is how quickly the other vaccines get full approval, too. If the rules are followed, and when was the last time they were, all use of Moderna and J&J should stop. Since there is a fully approved vaccine now, the EUAs for the others should be cancelled. Novavax shouldn’t be able to get an EUA now. It might be interesting to know who in this whole debacle owns stock in which pharma company.

I bet they have a maskless party to celebrate. How much money did Ayers inherit from the father he loathed so much? He didn’t give it to the poor, did he? Now there’s a heart that needs a stiletto sunk into it. For the safety of all the rest of humanity, of course.

Have you ever seen the TV series “Designated Survivor”? The premise is based on the practice of having one cabinet member not attend the State of the Union speech in case there’s an event that kills all or most of the people there. Kiefer Sutherlund is the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development. When a bomb goes off at the Capitol, the president, vice president, and everyone in the line of succession ahead of Sutherland are killed. He’s immediately sworn in as POTUS, and he has the task of not only running the country, but also of finding out who set off the bomb. When I look at the current line of succession, I think maybe the Bidens’ dog Major might be a better choice.

      • jadzia1971 says:

The first season of Designated Survivor was great! By the third season, I think they gave Kiefer (the person, not his role) a little bit too much power, because the last ten minutes of every episode that season was basically a woke political lecture with “focus groups.” Shocked Pikachu face when Netflix canceled that (after reviving it following the network’s second-season cancellation).

one of the saddest articles I have read

    • lateblum says:

I just cannot even read these articles any more. Part is due to my vision, but part is due to the criminal and almost misanthropic behavior of Biden and his administration.

  12. Helen Kenney says:

    yes he does
bid-on also need to be prosecuted for doing the same thing to Americans and our Afghan allies

  13. Helen Kenney says:

even now liz Chaney can not get past her hatred of Trump to blame bid-on for this disaster

    • lateblum says:

She would then have to assign some blame on her father if she were to re-evaluate her negative emotions re PDJT. That seems a bridge too far for her – and for several others as well.

Here is an interesting podcast from X22 Report from yesterday. I usually listen to him eveyday but it does tend to be repetitive. This one is good as he talks about the economic disaster headed our way and then goes on to Devolution with a few Q posts thrown in. He explains the chain of command in the Military. So talk about a completely different world from Main stream Media! This is it!
