    Good Morning.

    Great picture!

The beginning of another week and the end of another month. I can hardly believe how fast the time is going

    • Constance says:

That picture is so fun looking. I really love Fall.

      • DeniseVB says:

This will be the last week of Halloween then back to finding peak fall colors in our beautiful country, probably Canada too 🙂

      • lateblum says:

So do I. Even the rainy weather, which we are in the midst of. It began yesterday noon. And continues through this moment. The wind is whipping trees and leaves about, the waves of Lake Michigan are roiling and bashing the shore. The Sky is grey, but the Halloween decorations still – somehow – remain on the chew in the yards, suspended from branches and shrubbery and brighten u the neighbors. Albeit in a very macabre way. I love it all.

I begin my 10 weeks of Day School for Drunkards today. I am doing this of my own volition. Not at all ashamed. I look at it as a chance to learn
Striking how my former prog friends reacted. Almost glee – not that I was getting help, but that I fell. What I witnessed during both of my jaunts in detox was profound. Addiction hits every life at some point. Acute medical detox is reserved for those with serious health issues. Primarily uncontrolled diabetes. Removing alcohol can send the body into crazy spins. Booze is a sugar.
I told myself I wasn’t hurting Shay. I didn’t fall, become argumentative, get arrested. She never saw me with a drink. I sat alone watching bad tv with a bottle or two a day, submerged in the negativity of current politics. I did not balance things out. I am proud of WHO Shay is becoming. There was a gaping hole related to how she needed me. Very independent. I had little purpose as she grew up.
That’s on me. I know better. Covid didn’t help as I became my own bartender.
My fasting glucose was 111 this morning. Down from 280. Only 10 days. Pretty fascinating that spirits effect me to that extent. I am electing to see this as the next chapter. Sorry to bore. It cements it for me if I declare.
Plus if I am successful – what a great lesson for da brat. Off for am walk.

She’s wearing a boot for foot drop. No fair, they made me exercise harder to strengthen my foot. Only 40, sad 😦 I’ve been in an online support group for over a year, mostly people in their 20s to 50s which surprised me, but there are a million stories about what causes strokes, still haven’t met one due to the vaccines. I’m still planning to get the booster, when available (3rd Moderna). Of course, I’ll keep you guys updated for your future planning 🙂

Romanian dentists Do Not Fuck Around. Best cleaning ever, albeit a bit terrifying.

    That is all.

    • Mothy67 says:

Did you get the one where the pull the gum away and scrape way down. They only do like one quadrant at a time.

      • jadzia1971 says:

That’s kind of what it felt like. He blasted me with anesthetizing juice first and I was glad of it.

    • Somebody says:

I had a Palestinian dentist do my cleaning back in December, he didn’t fuck around either. Good cleaning, but he was faster than a hygienist too. He immigrated to Ohio years ago, but moved to Florida for “The freedom he expected to find is the US”. He briefly worked as a hygienist while he awaited his FL license to practice dentistry, then he left to start his own practice with another dentist.

I think the difference may be a dentist vs a hygienist, but it could be country of origin.

      • jadzia1971 says:

I was a little surprised that it was the dentist who did the cleaning, but it was also clear that this guy is not too long out of dental school. (Which is NBD–it isn’t brain surgery and I have unproblematic teeth.) I think he’s getting his practice up and running right now. Which is good because he’s still not-busy enough that I can get 5 appointments all the same morning–impossible anywhere else.

  9. elliesmom says:

I spent yesterday with my son. All of the replacement parts for things that are broken have been ordered. He got some quality time with Hank who now has short toenails and smells April fresh.

My son and his wife just returned from 3 weeks in the UK. They followed all the rules. Both fully vaccinated, a negative covid test within 48 hours of departure, and a confirmed appointment for a covid test in London within 48 hours of arrival back in the US. They masked up at Logan in Boston. They were asked for their passports, but covid never came up. They boarded their Aer Lingus flight for Dublin, and the flight attendant told them masks were optional on the plane. They deplaned in Dublin, and covid never came up. They spent a week with friends in the Irish countryside, and there were no signs of a pandemic anywhere. They took a flight from Shannon to Heathrow. No mention of covid at either end or on the plane. They stayed in an airbnb in London and took short trips to Manchester, Liverpool, Brighton, Glasgow, and Edinburgh. A few masks here and there, but everything was wide open. Their appointment to be tested interfered with what they wanted to do, but they went and got the test because my DIL was worried they’d be detained at the airport. Their arrival in Boston did not include anything covid-related. When the plane landed at Logan, the pilot asked everyone “to be polite and put masks on before leaving the plane.”

The question they were asked most was, “Is Mr. Biden as senile as he appears?” To which my son answered, “Yes, and God help us all”, and my DIL replied, “Senile is better than Trump”.

    • Somebody says:

Glad you had a nice visit and your parts are all ordered. Sounds like your son and DIL had a nice vacation. It sounds like your DIL and my CA sister would get along quite well🙄

    • DeniseVB says:

LOL, DIL’s response. I have a few relatives who would agree with her. My sister held a champagne brunch for Biden’s inauguration. My daughter and nieces shared cyber toasts with her as I bit my lower lip off 😉 They’ve all be quiet for awhile, can’t wait to do the I told you so dance !

    • Mt.Laurel says:

Does your daughter work in my building? because yes, that is the weird twisted view I have been hearing. That a man who comes off like a malfunctioning robot from Westworld or Stepford being pushed around by the other rogue bots who are working at ridding the world of the pesky humans is just the best even.

    *****THREAD***** !!!

    • lyn5 says:

What does almost 10 dead mean?

    • lyn5 says:

      2. You see @AOC while most of the J6 people have been arrested and charged for mostly misdemeanors, ALL of the thousands of Antifa/BLM foot soldiers of the Democrat Communist Party that attacked innocent Americans, looted & burned private businesses, & more crimes have not been…

      3. properly charged yet & many were let off.
And all the people like you @AOC and many of your colleagues have not been investigated yet for your role in the civil war that was waged in the streets of America during the communist revolution of 2020.
      You taught them.

      4. I saw your post on your social media @AOC .The Democrat fundraising platform ActBlue funded BLM by collecting donations. Terrorist sympathizer @IlhanMN
posted the MFF bail bond link to bail out criminals who burned her own city.
And so did the VP @KamalaHarris

      5. Our country was founded by men who stood against government that over taxed them and would not protect their property rights, violated their freedoms, and stood against life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
That’s exactly the type Gov tyrannical Democrats are today.

      6. Democrats like you @AOC declared, waged, funded, supported, & promoted civil war on the American people and American cities with daily and nightly Antifa/BLM riots and terrorizing violence throughout 2020.
Over $1 TRILLION in damage & many killed in your war against America.

      6. While your destructive Socialist fantasies are promoted in the BIF & Reconciliation budget and Biden uses communist tactics forced through private businesses with unconstitutional freedom violating vaccine mandates, the people see through you.

      7. You are failing @AOC.
      All of you are.
You see America doesn’t like out of control inflation, illegals, drugs, and child trafficking at the border you all refuse to secure, and abandoning Americans in Afghanistan while arming the Taliban, & killing our own 13.

      8. You are failing miserably while telling Americans & their kids to wear a useless napkin across their faces strapped to their ears, and forcing vaccines that aren’t even 50% effective against the virus your precious Fauci funded with US taxpayer dollars.

      9. And private businesses are going to eventually get tired of doing the Democrats dirty work-Communist tactics from the threatening fines if they don’t mandate the vaccines on their employees.
Oh we haven’t even seen the lawsuits that are coming from vax injuries and deaths.

      10. But your big problem @AOC are the parents all across America who are NOT going to tolerate what you and your Fascist friends want to do to their kids in their taxpayer funded schools.
And you should worry bc Mama bears cross over political lines, and they already are.

      11. So while you throw pebbles, I look forward to your answer on if you are able to find the courage to debate me.
Or will you continue to hide in your office making videos and instructing your ground troops to keep harassing private citizens and businesses that support me?

I want to thank ‘Somebody’ for posting information back in 2020 about the EVMS Prevention & Treatment Protocols for COVID-19. I think it was ‘Somebody’ who told us about using vitamin C and D3, and zinc as a prophylaxis to help prevent getting the Fauci Flu.

My daughter and I have been taking these three plus magnesium since spring of ’20. So far, knock-on-wood, no ‘Rona. Amazingly, we fatties didn’t get it from her teenage daughter who got exposed the last day of school before Thanksgiving last year. We were in close contact with her for over a week before she tested positive. By the time the test results came back positive she wasn’t contagious anymore and went back to school.

The g-kid’s private lessons music teacher, who teaches in student’s homes, and his wife, who has a severe heart condition, both got the ‘Rona. Neither were vaccinated. She had been advised by her physician to not get the vaccine. I quickly found Dr. Marik’s EVMS protocol for treating Covid and shared it with him. He recovered quickly, but her blood oxygen level got dangerously low. They found a cardiologist who treated her with therapeutic medicines and treatments that kept her from being hospitalized and put on a ventilator. She is slowly recovering.

Dr. Marik is a Founding Member of the FLCCC Alliance / MATH+ and I-MASK+ developers
Front Line COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance Prevention & Treatment Protocols for COVID-19

Here is an updated link if you don’t have this bookmarked already

    • lateblum says:

Thank you for the link, g-k.
I thank Somebody as well and have also been taking the EVMS protocol since January. The rest of my entire family – including son’s in-laws have all been vaccinated. They are pushing for their “boosters”. My youngest daughter had the virus twice last year and one of the other family members – my dil’s brother – had a breakthrough case this past July. (Family went nuts.) I’ve been tested 5 times over the past 12 months. Twice (pre-vaccine) because I wanted to be certain when we had family gatherings I could prove I was safe. Twice before my 2 recent eye surgeries, and once last week when I went to the immediate care clinic for a different issue. The clinic tests everyone who comes in for medical care. Always negative and I always whisper a little “thank you” to Somebody and to EVMS.

Virginia still makes us wear the mask, vac’d or unvac’d. I just want to live a normal life ! I carry my vac card everywhere to avoid screening, weird that they’ll screen me but not ask for the card ?

      • Somebody says:

I’m glad you all have avoided the wuflu. Hubby and I take it too and we’ve avoided it, even when the grandkids and my son got it.

Gram, you and your daughter should add quercetin to your regimen it acts as a zinc ionophore.

        • lateblum says:

A friend of mine, when she learned of my consistently taking the Quercetin and zinc ( plus all those vitamins) said she thought that the Quercetin might be the reason my bp has been normal for the past 9 months.. I’ve been taking the same regimen of blood pressure meds for YEARS. And only these past months since starting the Quercetin has my bp been normal. She certainly knows more about it than I.

    • DandyTIger says:

I got the Fauci flu early. It was rough, but I made it through without too much trouble. Dragged on for longer than normal. Looks like I’m still fully protected so taking a shot would be anti science. So far I haven’t run into work issues because of that.

      • DeniseVB says:

        Glad you’re okay.

      • Anthony says:

Ditto. I got in in early 2020. That’s when Nancy Pelosi and my dumbass mayor said it was “nothing” Been fine since. No jab, no way. Let’s Go Brandon.

        • DandyTIger says:

Yep, that’s when I got it. They said it was nothing then, so it’s nothing now. 🙂 I wonder how many of the 700K number were preventable with politically blocked prophylactics and therapeutics or had nothing to do with COVID at all. Wouldn’t it be interesting of those factors brought the numbers down to flu level numbers. We’ll never know.

      • Mt.Laurel says:

Probably from one of the annoying northern Virginians who got word to get out of town through the swamps off the record communications that went to hide in your corner of Virginia. Then turn around and whine that those outlanders are not following protocols.

      • jadzia1971 says:

I am pretty sure that I had it and am DYING to get an antibody test. Unfortunately the only way to get that here is to get vaccinated–it’s a 2-part thing where if you ask for an antibody test while getting the first shot, you don’t have to get the second one in order to qualify for a passport. Since I would STILL refuse to patronize businesses that are bending the knee to Macron’s passport bullshit even if I qualified for a passport, the promise of getting one isn’t enough to coerce me into having that shot, nor is it worth it to satisfy my curiosity about whether I really had it or not.

        • jadzia1971 says:

My kingdom for an edit button. To clarify, if you ask for an antibody test during the first shot appointment and it comes back positive, you don’t have to get the second shot to qualify for the passport of shame and obedience.

The only thing I am upset about is that although I am paying for my daughter’s birthday party, the venue will require me to sit outside in the cold November rain for the entire 2.5 hours because I am a plague rat. Fuck that. Still, she’s turning 10 and I don’t want to disappoint her, so I am giving the money for the party to her deadbeat father and he is going to play host.

          • jadzia1971 says:

And everybody will treat him like a Saintly Single Dad (TM) when the kids are with me 90% of the time and I support the entire family, including the deadbeat, myself with no help.

            That is all.

Education ‘Experts’ Emphatically Claim in WaPo Op-Ed Parents Don’t Have a Say in Their Kids’ Education
Former Virginia governor and current gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe was supposed to win next week’s race against Republican Glenn Youngkin in a walk. So thought most Democrat strategists, at least. McAullife instead finds himself in a neck-and-neck race, due in part to several missteps. One such misstep is the veteran Democrat’s insistence that parents should not have a say in the education of their children.
Yes, just like all good Democrats, McAulliffe’s soul belongs to the teachers’ unions.
In this case, the all-powerful American Federation of Teachers. “Shockingly,” the union rolled out a pro-McAulliffe ad program on Sunday, featuring public school parents and educators singing the praises of McAuliffe’s education proposals while trashing Youngkin’s plan.
