I can’t wait til Nov 3, this and hundreds of campaign ads will be over. I already have knots in my stomach that these aholes will win no matter what Youngkin says or does between now and election day. Virginia is getting too much national attention and Dem Dirty Money is just pouring into the state. Bus loads of voters too 😦

Really just how effective is this experimental chemical cocktail if you need booster after booster after booster? And why would anyone say yes to this? Even the tetanus vaccine only requires smother shot after a certain number of YEARS not months or weeks.

    • Helen Kenney says:

by the time they get done with this nonsense, the shots will be like your monthly. Annoying and inconvenient

    • John Denney says:

Saw a post somewhere by a guy saying he & his wife were getting dressed up to go out & get their weekly booster shot. 🙂

a real must-read. were bud-on and the benedicts looking for an excuse to go after parents?.

  10. Helen Kenney says:

this is getting more crazy by the minute.

  11. Helen Kenney says:

when you do not follow the party line, they harass you everywhere you go. democratic freedom leaves a lot to be desired

  12. Helen Kenney says:

yes he would draw bigger more intelligent crowds. Youngkin seems to draw big enough crowds to scare the hell out of the benedicts all by himself

  13. Helen Kenney says:

    I like this guy’s thinking

  14. Helen Kenney says:

I did not know about this. it is more than one toke over the line.

I started reading a book called Wild Blue about bomber pilots during WW2. the author talks about flying B17s and B24s today. there is a group that goes around the country and you can fly the planes. He compared it to running being on the headend of a train and running it through the Sierra Nevada mts. I did that. I was not the engineer, but I was on the engine and at one point we were so high that I could look down to a rainbow in the valley below. It is one of my greatest memories. The train was Emeryville to Reno and what a ride. I had never seen wooden sheds over switches. they get so much snow that it is the only way to protect them. Just a beautiful part of America. that more people should see.

    • lateblum says:

Really, Helen, that is a wonderfully vivid description. And a beautiful memory. Thank you for sharing it here.
Plus, I might have to look for that book for my brother.

    • John Denney says:

The author of the book, “God Is My Copilot”, describes flying around Mt. Everest.
He was the 1st ever to do so, & it’s a great description, possibly enhanced by oxygen deprivation at the altitude he had to fly in the 1930s.

Great book, with pictures. He was the pilot of a 2 man secret air force against the Japanese in SE Asia before the US entered the war. The other guy was his mechanic, who’d paint the propeller hub a different color every day so the Japs wouldn’t suspect their was only 1 plane.

He was not a member of The Flying Tigers, but did coordinate with them, & visited their airfield on occasion.

This is from 2010 so you may have already seen it, but if you haven’t “The Song of Lunch” starring Alan Rickman and Emma Thompson is on Prime. It’s not your usual offering. A “movie poem”.

The exchange of gunfire between over a dozen men was just one of the gang shootings that delivered Portland to what its police chief called a “grim milestone” of 1,000 shootings.

From Ace on Garland’s Senate testimony:

Garland said to Hawley he can’t do anything about the summer 2020 BLM riots because that was under a different administration.

Uhm who was president on Jan 6 again? So using that logic, he can’t do anything either.

Did Hawley call that out? If so I missed it.

Someday—maybe someday soon—this witches’ sabbath, this festival of scapegoating, and what George Orwell called the “hideous ecstasy” of hate will be at an end. Perhaps someday people will be aghast, and some will be ashamed, of what they did to the President of the United States and people who supported him: the chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, for instance, proposing to put Senator Ted Cruz on a “no fly” list, and Simon & Schuster canceling Senator Josh Hawley’s book contract.
