    True story…..

I believe the climate changes. I live somewhere that was once covered by glaciers, and there’s proof of it all around me. I believe it’s possible someday they will be back. What I don’t believe is that current computer models being fed the information we only think contributes to climate change are any more reliable than just guessing. Current computer models can’t predict the weather with accuracy 48 hours in advance. Every single day this week the afternoon temperatures have been 10 to 15 degrees higher than the National Weather Service has predicted. Early last evening they said it would be cloudy this morning with possible light rain this afternoon so I put out a ton of cardboard for the recycling truck to pick up this morning. At 7 am I heard torrential rain on the roof. I now have a driveway full of soggy cardboard. They’ll take it away, but it’s value in recycling it has disappeared. Why would anyone think we have the capability to predict the climate even ten years out? In the history of the Earth that’s only a tiny, tiny blip away, but we can’t even do that.

It’s a rainy, but not too chilly morning here. I just had a nice warm bowl of cream of wheat, to keep any chill away.
Of course the climate changes. I don’t think they can tell from computer models either. When they track hurricanes, or tornados, for that matter, there is a margin of error, for all of the variables.

Long ago I was listening to WLS radio & heard something like this:

“Chigagoland weather today will be partly cloudy . . . but I can see out the window that it’s pouring rain.
        Send in YOUR weather forecasts!”

Cardiologist Who Said He ‘Won’t Cry at Funeral’ For “Selfish” Unvaccinated People Suddenly Dies in His Sleep 2 Weeks After 3rd Covid Jab

Karma for people who say stupid things, I suppose, especially this guy’s a doctor and should know better.

I know I’ve mentioned my crazy Canadian cousin, Thom, here before. He spent most of his life serving as a prison chaplain. When he retired from his position, he was assigned to minister to a small congregation in a little white church on a mountain overlooking the Annapolis Valley in Nova Scotia. It’s more like a church family than a congregation. Thom fit right in.

When the provincial government sent Thom a letter outlining what the covid-19 rules for the church would be, he assembled the church council. Because the numbers of people they were allowed to congregate were given in absolutes and not percentages, the small church actually fared pretty well. There was one number for a Sunday service and a slightly larger number for a wedding. The number for a funeral would encompass enough people for them to have everyone present. So the church fathers came together with some saws, hammers, and nails, and using some pine lumber, they made a casket. They installed the casket in the front of the church and draped it in the Canadian flag. They have been holding church services every Sunday without incident or anyone getting covid.

I have lots of family and friends in Canada, and I get lots of news and links from them. While they have their share of folks like this doctor, they also have a growing number of people who are telling their government what the government can do with its covid restrictions and vaccinations. “Let’s go Trudeau”.

The thing that make me laugh about this is all of the folkyys on the left who think red states can’t survive without the “college educated” people on the left. What makes them think there are no college educated people in red states? Humans survived for millennia without HR managers. On the other hand, where is the food and energy going to come from to feed the HR managers and provide them with electricty. Are the folks in Martha’s Vineyard going to approve a wind farm on their coast? All three blue states I’ve lived in are only blue because of a city that sucks up all of the political energy.

There’s a fair amount of farmland in western RI, but probably not enough to feed the whole state. Most of my neighbors already have their well heads locked down good and tight to protect them from “marauding city folk”. While they are extremely generous with each other, they refused to give aid and comfort to the refugees from NYC in the early days of the pandemic. Like what often happens in a divorce, parents often get surprised when they ask the kids who they want to live with.

“All puppets like me comply with CDC and Pfizer guidelines,” said Big Bird, as Elmo—who was dressed in a doctor outfit—injected something into his arm. “Like all the residents of Sesame Street, I am a hollow soulless shell made of fabric and fake feathers whose every word and action is controlled by another person! It’s important for people like me to get the vaccine! Yay!”

Credit where it’s due: I don’t think it’s particularly pretty, but Paris Hilton’s wedding dress is tasteful. Certainly better than the mirror dress on the last celeb who got married.

Okay, so what he’s innocent, the real villains are the unvaccinated people who are murdering millions everyday by being selfish. Gun laws don’t matter when there’s an extremely deadly disease still happening. Put the unvaxxed behind bars where they belong.
