    Good Morning. Have a Merry!

There’s a coating of snow on the ground here this morning, but it’s not going to amount to anything. It will be gone by lunch. Good! 🙂

    • elliesmom says:

It’s snowing here, too, and it’s already more than predicted and still coming down. I may have to do a little snow removal. But dinner is either ready or in waiting for the right time to turn the oven on and if I don’t get to it, the kids can dig themselves in. 🙂

Looking for the Star of Bethlehem from the Vatican observatory

We human beings love to read about great signs in the sky.

    • Woke Lola says:

It’s Venus, right? Saw it last night, bright and twinkling. Merry Christmas!

      • ginainmo says:

We saw the Leonard comet the night before last, low in the southwest sky.

And I saw the most beautiful full moon on Wednesday night over the lake. It was so wondrous that I went down to the lakefront to view it. Then, immediately to the south was a line of lights, 10 – 12 of them brilliantly lined up and shining ever so brightly. They were planes lining up to land at O’Hare. The picture, though, was beautiful, and almost symbolic of stars at Christmas time.

Stay healthy all, but if you can’t…………

What a magical picture!! Merry Christmas Eve! 🎄🤶🎅⛄🌠

    LOL, Tucker…..

  6. DeniseVB says:

Awww, Christmas Twitter is so pretty (though trolls are still working overtime for the holidays everywhere else)

    • 1539days says:

I think they’re called grinches on Christmas Eve.

      • DeniseVB says:

They’re definitely confused grinches who don’t know how to respond to a fully vaxxed and boostered (Me) who’s adamantly against mandates. But, but, but…..YOU must FORCE them …… such good little commies 😉

        • 1539days says:

I mask everywhere but I don’t want the government telling people to do it. Trump is actually out there supporting the vaxx, but also telling people they have a right not to take it. That stuff drives the grinches crazy.

Happy Christmas Eve! Only one more sleep until Santa is here! Bub’s house is one Sesame Street and one Mr. Rogers away.

BOOM – Senator Sinema Stops Biden’s Plan To Nationalize Federal Election Laws; Angering Fellow Dems

As 2022 approaches, Democrats are privately and publicly expressing their frustration with two of their U.S. Senators who continue to back crucial legislation from passing.

Denise, a beautiful picture of Santa and his sleigh. Would that he could bring some sanity to the world, especially NYC. They really did it, removed Teddy.

I’m doing my part……..put it back or you’ll never see another dime from me. I’m surprised Liberal nutjob Ben Stiller didn’t raise a stink since that (sorta) statue played a big part in his Night at the Museum series with Robin Williams, a Saint 🙂

Christmas cards calling them pieces shit.
that struck me as very funny this morning

Mistakenly turned on the news after sleeping late. The family of the kid who was shot by officer Potter was celebrating. Hmmm maybe if they hadn’t raised a punk two lives wouldn’t be destroyed.
I know not very Christmasy of me.

That dog-killer monkey story was creepy. Bookie wrote an excellent post comparing the monkeys with today’s left.

This is so lovely, helen. Thank you and Merry Christmas to you, as well🎄

The decorations in town this year are stunning. I think people are weary of isolation and gloom. Those who are able, are showing their wishes for a happier life for everyone, I think. I love just looking out my window at night because all the holiday and Christmas lights make my heart sing.

I think I’m done for the day… I spent time in the great outdoors today standing in line in the cold and damp waiting for another covid test so I can see my grandgirls tomorrow. Thank goodness I got my pneumonia vaccine earlier this year!

    Merry Christmas to everyone! 🎄❤️🎄

    • lyn5 says:

      Merry Christmas! ❤

    • Mt.Laurel says:

      Merry Christmas!
Give those girls a hug from me. If spirit if not in actual practice.

I will likely be hanging around because my plans got all twisted up as my cousin’s in-laws overdosed on paranoia. He and his wife suspect her older sisters are really Ds or maybe over zealous Rhinos and they now sway their parents (both close to 90). They have always done a health check so covid has just really brought out the worst and this year are requesting copies of vaccinations cards and test for the children too young for vax. So moving our get together to next week rather than the traditional Christmas Eve. The kids will deal with the weird food at their grandparents who have dinner catered (I think they are currently on the raw diet – they seem to rotate micro -volumetric-vegan-paleo. . .) and then have what they refer to as the “real Christmas holiday dinner” afterward.

The one brother-in-law avoids all the silliness by saying he does not want to leave his parents on their own. His parents laugh that he uses them as an excuse when with 11 children and numerous grandkids they are never alone for the holidays but they all play along.

    • Somebody says:

Leslie, I am so sorry your DIL is putting you through this. Hopefully all that time in the cold won’t make you sick and/or nobody in line was contagious❤

Enjoy the girls and have a Merry Christmas!

  20. 1539days says:

One of the big failures of Biden has been No-mask May. Ending a mask mandate for liberty or the end of random COVID infection is one thing, but creating a two-tiered caste system is another. The vaccinated got the COVID prize of going mask-less while the unvaccinated were punished with the scarlet face-rag of non-compliance. This 1)Encouraged people who were worried about COVID to take off their mask after vaccination due to virtue signalling 2)made almost everyone else take off their mask as a reverse virtue signal and 3)spread more COVID as the vaxx wore off, which was an apparently unknown side effect.

So, Biden’s first year is marked by as many COVID deaths in the 11 months since he took office compared to the 11 months Trump was “responsible” for COVID. Also, Biden’s (economically) forced vaccination policy has led to numerous job losses and dangerous staffing shortages in hospitals. The blame is still placed on the unvaxxed, even though they are 30% of the population and “breakthough” stopped being used to describe most people who got COVID after the jab.

SarahR @45Sarah24: Can someone please enlighten me on why people are abandoning Trump due to the vaccine issue? What did I miss?

GhostOAngie3 @OAngie3: The establishment blue checks are pretending that Trump having the same pro-vax, anti-mandate position as DeSantis is a huge problem for Trump & he’s losing support because of it, but they are degenerate liars.

Cheryl Johnson @CherylJ41961463: I lost count of how many Trolls pretended to be disgruntled Trump supporters vowing to never vote for him again. Media Matters tells them to do that.

GhostOAngie3 @OAngie3: Cernovich & Castillo survived the Twitter purge for a reason.

Here’s my favorite Christmas carol this year. It was written by Jester Hairston, who wrote the song, “Amen”, in the movie, “Lilies of the Field”, starring Sidney Poitier.
