    True story….

    • Mt.Laurel says:

I have been seeing quite a few comments on sites in other countries pondering just what the Clintons are up to since Barry’s gang played their cards with Joey and Cami and it might be a good time to get back at them.

UKers are convinced they are using Prince Andrew as the scapegoat to get a LOT of others off the hook as he is easy pickings. The women suing him evidently, like Haz/ wife and Hilaria has invented a fake backstory (MOO anyone) she herself is being sued by girls she recruited as she knew exactly what sh was doing and doing so willing for $$$$.
She was not used as a witness in the recent trial and some of the witnesses names her as major player of the Epstein machine.

The general attitude is along the lines of Andy is an pompous a$$ of the first order but he has never attacked his mom/siblings/family or the citizens of the UK/government of the UK or any of the Commonwealth countries. There is a strong belief his traitorous unstable nephew Haz and the batshit crazy wife are helping to sink Andy and while gunning for HMTQ with more of their tale tales behind the scene. Most feel reports of Haz’s wealth are greatly exaggerated (and that they have shot through everything they could get their hands on) so someone has to be funding them. Is it the Clintons, Barry’s gang, Joey/Jillie who have shown them support. They do know it is not Trump as he told them to F off.

      • taw46 says:

Very interesting. Harry is lost forever, he chose that piece of trash over the Queen. And I do believe the Clintons hate the Obamas, so no telling what they have planned. For each other, lol.

      • elliesmom says:

I don’t believe the Queen has jettisoned Andrew. I think she’s been emptying Andrew’s pockets to make him judgment-proof. Lawyers won’t be standing in line to represent women wanting to sue Andrew if he’s broke. She’s protecting her son, not disowning him.

        • lateblum says:

I think you’re right, em. I wondered at some of the reports of the Queen’s actions and thought that if she weren’t protecting him, she might be protecting the House of Windsor and the RF. Not only the wealth, but the history. My guess is she has made arrangements for him. He’s been a good son – not so great an adult.

(Unlike Clinton who has been a royal fuck off without being royal and who has no real place in this

        • DeniseVB says:

Sounds about right but you know those pesky tabloids need a more punched up headline to sell their rags or make idiots like me continue to tap their internet clickbait 😀

        • lyn5 says:

          Great observation.

        • Mt.Laurel says:

My bad. I did not mean UK or his mother/family were using him as the scape goat. They have indeed come up with the best way to protect him and the monarchy/UK from this mess. He still has his home and will not be tossed to the street. He has likely been given more than one very stern lecture on not nipping this in the bud years ago.

I meant this whole circus is ignoring the numerous and MUCH larger fish right here in the USA. There a quite a few that had far more long and questionable relationships with Epstein and his ilk. Many feel they have arranged for Andrew to be the scapegoat so that attention is turned away from the politically inconvenient . I mean really, why is this woman with a big name lawyer who worked for Weinstein suing a citizen of the UK in the USA on very very thin evidence such as a single posed picture (that she shared with and bragged over at the time) and that she was of age (not a child) and was not trafficked but someone who groomed others..

The commenters in the UK think the Clinton and other elitists’ fingerprints are all over this (the judge is a Clinton appointee with some cobwebs of his own much like the one for that women’s trial was Barry/Joey’s man) . I also have seen quite a few noting that Hillary needs it to go away because she still wants to be president.

As I said, Andy is considered a pompous a$$ but he has always protected his mother and never bad mouthed his family/country/countrymen like that worthless nephew of his.

  5. elliesmom says:

I was getting ready to answer Tim’s question about snow removal when I looked outside and saw my driveway is currently a river of slush. It won’t need shoveling, but what it may be at dawn tomorrow is a river of ice. I had an early morning grocery delivery scheduled for tomorrow so I just changed it to mid-afternoon. Now I have until 10 am tomorrow to see what things look like. I won’t starve between 7am and 2 pm, and it might make the difference between the delivery guy carrying the groceries up the stairs or needing to do it myself.

I don’t clear my own driveway. That is done by an industrial snow blower, a plow, or Mother Nature. I use my electric shovel on my porch and the steps low enough to the ground to have one open side. I use a small manual shovel on the part of the steps high enough off the ground to need handrails on both sides. Once my driveway is clear I have full access to my house through my garage so I do the porch and the steps when I feel like it. Which is never while it’s still snowing since I became a senior citizen. I buy salt in 50 lbs bags. The Dawn, rubbing alcohol, and hot water works well after the snow stops, but I can put the ice-melt stuff down ahead of time.

    • Mothy67 says:

I did it last night as it was still snowing. Glad I did because there was another 5 inches overnight. Snow shovel took me 15 minutes but it is useless with more than that.

      • elliesmom says:

I stripped the slush off the porch and salted the steps to the first landing. After that salt gets its chance to work, I’ll walk down far enough to salt to the next landing. The driveway is slowly peeking through the slush. I’ll run a shovel over what’s left before the temps start heading down. We don’t get much more than 3″ of snow at a time here. It just happens often. A couple of times a year I need to wear snow boots.

        • lateblum says:

I probably sound like a nut, but I’m jealous of your snow. I live on the wrong side of the lake, I guess. We get freezing cold temps. We get wind so strong that it freezes the spray from the waves on Lake Michigan and erodes beaches and building foundations. But our season of snow – even when it snows *hard* is limited. I love the snow and I miss it.
So when I read about your snowfalls, I get a little sad for me and happy that someone somewhere is having snow. 💕

          • swanspirit says:

I have some snow envy too. Only because I don’t have to drive in it. But I miss that covered in soft whiteness, and lack of noise, it brings. It’s a good feeling.

One dude had a statute fall on him, ouch!, and she was blamed for allowing the riots. Of course, all the punishments mysteriously disappeared and she was allowed to continue her reign of terror. We have a new Sheriff in town now, go git her Jason !

    • jadzia1971 says:

We just got back from our brand-new, nice Asian/Middle Eastern grocer, the place that always has stuff that other stores don’t. It looked like the zombie apocalypse had hit the frozen meat section. FINALLY I found frozen chicken breasts, but salted only, and they are 4.75/kg up from 3.60 a few weeks ago. It’s still a screaming deal (at regular grocery stores b/s chx breasts are about 7 euros/kilo), but this isn’t a good trend.

I DID find whole chickens for 6.80/TWO at Lidl, the day after I bought a single chicken at Auchan for 9 or 10 euros just for the one. You bet I raided that freezer section. With the way prices are jumping, I’m thinking of buying a second freezer, an upright like I shoulda bought in the first place, so i can really jump on any deals that can be had.

      • votermom says:

Freezer is a good idea. We have a small upright; I wish it was bigger

        • lateblum says:

I wish I could have a freezer. There is no room in my apartment. I have no electric outlet in my storage space in the basement or on my (shared) porch.
These are the times I regret being in a condo rather than in my own house.

          • Mt.Laurel says:

I hear you. we also have restrictions so no putting a small one on the deck (more like small porch) even though they do have outlets. Storage space is small and in the bottom level of the center buildings and no outlets.

      • Constance says:

Good luck having a freezer delivered. Nothing is moving right now. Of course I just moved into a condo and so I ordered some new furniture. I ordered a new couch that was expected in 6 weeks at the beginning of October, I finally have January 27th as the delivery date. I ordered 2 chairs that were on sale at the end of November. I’ve been getting notices that they are going to be delivered for over a month now. I ordered “Three day Blinds” as I’m freezing to death since I have so many windows and they might come January 25th about 6 weeks after the order went in. The thing is they tell you they have this stuff to sell but obviously they don’t have any stock.

        • jadzia1971 says:

It’s the biannual sale period right now, I am hoping I can just go to the store and get a deal.

      • 1539days says:

Do you have to go through the same hoops for a freezer as an air conditioner? If not, welcome to your new air conditioner 😀

Do you know what most of America wants? I will tell you: America wants Daddy to step up and say, “Okay, you can stop being insane now. Really, enough is enough.” Trouble is, America is short on daddies these days. That’s what happens when you throw The Patriarchy on the old garbage barge. Mr. Trump was a kind of daddy, but to many women, especially, he was the wrong kind, Bad Daddy, the worst kind of daddy, the kind who makes you clean up your room and come home before midnight. They traded him in for demented Grampa. He just wants to fondle you — and not in a good way — but family decorum requires that we don’t talk about that. In the meantime, we can do whatever we feel like.

A woman at the top of my hill has been fighting masks since day one. She is always in and out of court. The health department started stinging other local businesses and saying we wouldn’t be here if she hadn’t brought us into the neighborhood. So they get a fine for allowing smoking or improper trash containers but say don’t blame us — it is because she won’t make her employees wear masks that we are coming down on you. They play dirty. Trying to turn the neighborhood against her.
I have a love/hate with her. I think it is a sin to toy with eggs Benedict. I don’t want poached eggs on brioche. She claims to be a Christian and then puts boiled eggs on French Toast. Arrest her for that but leave classics alone.
Seriously there is no smoking without a license. They get busted and blame her for legally defying a law when they were breaking the law. They have actually told me to my face and FJB things would be better if everyone just played along. Not one person in the bar had a mask on.

  23. lateblum says:

Hey Jadzia, are there any private clubs/eateries near you?

    • jadzia1971 says:

I am unclear who exactly is doing this. Of course, I doubt any club in France would have a dirty foreigner like me.

Please to help me find some serenity in advance. I have to take my kid for a PCR test Wednesday so they will let him back in school. Here is what will happen. 1. No goddamned parking anywhere. We will have to walk a mile in the freezing rain to get to the entrance. 2. Where they will make us, along with a bunch of little old ladies, stand in the freezing rain for an hour. For our health. Because it would be unhealthy to have more than one person in the lab at a time. 3. When I inevitably fail to understand the muffled French coming out from behind the 2 masks, face shield, and plexiglass shield, I will be treated like shit some more. 4. A 1 in 3 chance that I’ll have a panic attack thanks to MY mask. I never know when it’s gonna happen, it’s a fun little surprise every time. I have been out of anti-anxiety medication for 2 months because I’m afraid to go to my doctor, who is not a nice lady. Been meaning to get an appointment with the nice doctor in our local “no go zone” (seriously) but just haven’t found the time.

This kid gets embarrassed when I lose my cool. I am tense and anxious and crying on and off already and this shit isn’t even happening until day after tomorrow.

      • lateblum says:

Don’t drink caffeine before you go. Maybe have a glass/cup of tea to warm you.
How good is your son’s (?) French? Can he translate if you get flustered?
Does he want to return to school? Collaborate with him ahead of time. Let him know how flustered you become when something this important to him is happening because you love him so much.
Make a plan to get through this and share it with him. It’s better to have him on your side before hand. Practice it.
Start breathing to calm yourself now. 🤞🏼

I know someone here will have more to offer you. But the above has been helpful to me. At least when I’m advocating for others. I suck when it comes to lobbying for myself.
        Mindful breathing helps me.

      • elliesmom says:

If you feel a panic attack coming on, have your son give you five numbers not in numerical order for you to repeat back to him. It will give your brain something it has to focus on that it can’t do if you’re panicking. I had a student who had panic attacks, and my doing that was part of her IEP, and it worked.

      • Constance says:

Write a card that says you have hearing loss and hand it to them. Make them write down requests and directions so you can read them.

      • swanspirit says:

For panic attack prevention, do head circles. Pretend there is a pen sticking out of the top of your head, and draw the biggest circle you can with it. 3, in each direction, at least. Also timed breathing. Inhale to a count of four, hold to a count of six, exhale to a count of eight, or more. I used to do those to prevent anxiety and panic when driving on the freeway. They do work. Hopefully, it won’t be freezing rain, either.

      • votermom says:

Pretend you are deaf and bring a notepad to write stuff and ask back

      • 1539days says:

  26. Mothy67 says:

I have been miserable with the weather the last few weeks. Grey and cold. My girls fear skies that are ominous. Won’t walk. Long walks especially with my bad girl give me as much comfort as her. The beagle is another story. She just stops and stares. Will not move. I have to pick her up and carry her at times. She is the most gentle dog. I wonder where she is when she drifts away/ She was a breeder until she couldn’t breed. They removed her offspring I would assume before it was time. They did it to her over and over again. When she lacked fertility they wanted to dispose of her. She was kept for a few weeks at a vet’s office and was going to go to a shelter if no one could take her. They left her at night in a cage. We got asked if since my border collie had died could we take her. How about fuck off. I am not replacing my Cammy. She is here. Confounds me she seemed so young but past her birthing years. She will run in the yard and has escaped, but on a walk she just stops and stares. I wonder how much she is aware of her children that they removed at times before she was ready. I think dogs are smart. Sensitive.
So anyhow last night and today have been snowy. Sky is grey but things are feeling different. I hate winter but I love snow. I felt like I could be active in my own life again. I go to the store in boots from ll bean that I was waiting to wear since I bought. I had already done my sidewalks twice. I ask brat what she wants blueberry bagels. All of the bread products are sold out. Shelves are empty in dairy in produce in regular grocery. I took a picture texted and said slim pickings. I don’t get a response in 5 minutes. So I leave. I walk the few minutes to my home through maybe 9 inches of unshaved sidewalk with dawn dish liquid, coffee creamer, and a ton of what was bakery because I wanted to make a nice breakfast but Karen had bought everything. I get within a few houses of my home and there is a huge mound of snow partly on my sidewalk. I had shoveled, twice. We have about three/four feet of shared sidewalk. He has only a few feet in the front yard. I just do it when I do mine. I cut the grass, trim the small bush. He is not someone I like but our houses are 15 feet apart and today I come back from an empty store to find he must have instructed whatever company he hired (it’s a duplex) to just push the mound of snow on the sidewalk where it looks like his building ends. He has a few feet. A two foot mound of packed snow packed entirely on his area, but it pretty much defeats the purpose of a maintained community sidewalk. I had cleaned his part and I am greeted with a mini iceberg. Your sidewalks have to be clean. They fine. There are no footsteps leading in or out of his house so he must have hired someone. I had been in my first good mood in weeks. The walk in the snow in my new boots was exhilarating. I walk in and my brat complains because there are no blue berry bagles and that we never provide her with food. There is nothing to eat in this house. I almost said words I would rather die and if I did say I think I would deserve to die.
I almost yelled at a child do you know what I do for you. She didn’t ask me to be here and I didn’t say it.
Faucie book finally arrived yesterday. I have the kindle version, but wanted to start with the book. I like physical books. I can pick up later and go back and forth but the actual book feels like mine. My mom opened the package and started reading. She knew I was waiting for it, but what if it had been a gift for a “friend” like a fleshlight.
Funny I was in such a better mood over the last 24 hours than since pre-Christmas. My brat tells me I don’t feed her, my mom opens personal mail and commandeers something I have been waiting for for weeks, neighbor basically slapped me in the face by taking advantage of me.
I still don’t feel blue like I did when the color of the sky was grey.
    Ten thousand maniacs

    • elliesmom says:

My mom had no respect for my personal space or property, either, so I can relate to that. I worked at summer camp the summer before I left for college, but the next summer I worked from home. That was the last time I spent living with my mother. She wasn’t a horrible person. She just didn’t recognize boundaries. It was easier to find reasons not to move back home than to confront her.

Notice how people are trying to dismiss what Biden said because he said it in June 2020. It’s kinda like when kids were falling from USAF C-17s in Kabul under a year into Biden’s fraudulent presidency, and all he had to say was “that was 4 days ago, 5 days ago…” Does it matter?

I think what’s worse than millions of people not knowing that he ever said this until I tweeted it today, is that YOU morons still voted for him after he said something so callous and disgusting. I mean, why would you care now? Brain dead just like your king of dementia.

Fuck a fuck local animal shelters are overrun. I might be getting a kitten. Gracie (beagle) I think will be okay. She just chases rabbits outside. Bell barks like crazy at cats but she was exceptional with bunny. Brat has always wanted a cat. I said no for many years. We are going to foster I am allergic but I a told they will bring a kitten and we have to engage. I am hesitant. This one has some magical powers that will not make me go into shock.
I don’t want another pet. Ori (bunny) was given to shay in kindergarten. I loved bunny. I was the only one that played with her after novelty wore off. Shay was too young
The beagle was my mom. I take care of her outside of feeding. Bell is just bad girl at this point. I want to be eating from taw’s trash cans as soon as shay graduates- like that day. I hate the weather here. I do not care about having a respectable home. Shay has a college fund separate. The house is in some trust. I do not want it. I’d stick around after brat graduates but add in a kitten and I am stuck until after college. I don’t want a cat.
