    Good Morning.

Why are they spending time and money on this nonsense?

    • DeniseVB says:

Yeah. In the meantime, Dems are going for the kill shots to knock out House GOP reps, one by one……..

      • Anthony says:

Not gonna work. Even my UWS neighbors see what the Dem/Soc are doing. We all go food shopping, gas up the car, etc. It’s STILL the economy, stupid(s). <

        • Somebody says:

Anthony I agree everyone sees it, but do your neighbors understand why? Do they connect the dots? Do they blame the dems and by extension understand their votes helped cause this?

My sister in CA clearly understands that we’re experiencing record inflation. Being in CA she’s well aware of the open southern border, but in her twisted mind it’s all Trump’s fault. Biden and company are innocent victims of Trump’s bad policies, with a side dish of evil Putin.

I simply can’t have a conversation with her, she’s whack. She has explanations for how Trump caused everything. This Trump policy caused that, and this one caused the courts to rule this way and this policy caused the supply chain problems, on and on she goes.

She watches CNN and sometimes listens to NPR, probably some local news thrown in. I assume these are her sources. She can’t be the only one out there this brainwashed.

          • Anthony says:

I have my share of dingbats who still screech “Orange Man Bad 😡!!”, but most of them feel the pinch and know where it’s coming from. To their credit, none have said they’d vote for Trump if he runs again, but the have indeed said they just can’t and/or won’t vote at all. The status quo is real, and they’re all feeling it.

          • Mothy67 says:

My brother has gone from a romney republican to an msnbc watcher. Not a far way to go.he got on me about how I was endangering people by not getting the jab. After my friend got the antibody treatment everyone in her house got a mild case.

          • lateblum says:

She isn’t the only one, Somebody. My entire family continues to blame PDJT for what is happening. My brother is a financial planner. He is thoughtful and careful and still blames PDJT for the mess we’re in. He sees that Biden is less than competent, and that someone else is making the decisions, but it isn’t enough to ever vote for the evil republicans. He can quote the kind, loving philosophy of the Dem party as well as all the talking points about how bad the republicans are as if these are facts and religious tenets. But he doesn’t see that they are only talking points and never inform actual policy or action.

Oh, and he will no longer go into Chicago – not even in the daytime. He now owns a gun, and responsibly got his training, but not from the NRA because the NRA is EVIL. But having to get a gun still doesn’t trickle back to democrats and their horrible policies.

He acknowledges how seriously bad Lightfoot is as mayor, but likes JB Pritzker because he kept us all safe from Covid by closing schools and enforcing quarantines and masks and by blaming small children and unvaccinated people as evil transmitters of the virus.
And because Ngozi Ezike, Putzker’s former covid regulations enforcer, now the CEO of Mt Sinai Hospital, lives s few blocks away from him and is said to be “a really nice person”, he supported everything she said regardless of how maddeningly uninformed it was.

Sadly, your sister isn’t alone in her blindness. Neither is my brother.

          • lateblum says:

Isn’t it interesting that the one president who actually worked the most and 5he hardest, is the one who is accused of recreating the most. 🤦🏻‍♀️

          • John Denney says:

“Isn’t it interesting that the one president who actually worked the most and 5he hardest, is the one who is accused of recreating the most.” – lateblum

On a trip to our UK headquarters, I was given access to a woefully underpowered computer to do software development. At US HQ, I was accustomed to a compile finishing in a few seconds, but on this UK computer, it was taking so long to compile that I’d put my feet up on the desk & lace my fingers behind my head in protest that I had to wait so long. I was in a large room with about a dozen other developers working on things unrelated to my work. There were no walls, so all could see me, but no one said a word.
I found out near the end of my stay that they all thought I was lazy & doing nothing because I always had my feet up.

      • lyn5 says:

Democrats have to take out Republicans, because they have nothing. Hate them all to hell.

  3. Mothy67 says:

Monkeypox seems to be spreading pretty fast in Western Europe. So far it seems to be contained to younger gay men or other men who have sex with men (whatever that is) . cases have popped in Canada and Australia as of this morning. Seems like a pretty rapid wide spread? If it is easily spread by intimate contact I would think there would start with a large cluster in an area and gradually spread to all these countries half a world away from each other. The first cases were only discovered early this month. Two weeks to go from a batch near Lisbon to OZ, Canada, and MA? Maybe NYC?
From what I have read all the cases are in men who are , I think, too young to have gotten the smallpox vax. Tinfoil hat. This outbreak comes as the WHO treaty is being forced on the world. i trust nothing after watching a bad flu used to take down a president.
The strain thus far has a very low mortality but it is an ugly scary looking disease. Great way to frighten the masses.

    • Mothy67 says:

Couple that with hepatitis in kids and I don’t think it is crazy to wonder what’s going on.

    • votermom says:

Remember the truck full of lab monkeys that crashed on I-81 in January?

    • jadzia1971 says:

I am wondering if immunity from chicken pox gives you immunity from this. I would hope so, but that would leave half the family exposed.

  4. Somebody says:

My morning, I walk into kitchen and find a trash statue of sorts. My daughter “cleaned” her room last night while we slept. She filled the kitchen trash can and precariously stacked garbage about three feet above the top of the can🤬

I look at it and think OMG you lazy little brat. My husband marvels at her accomplishment and literally says out loud….”Wow, that’s impressive, maybe she should switch her major to engineering” . I could have smacked them both.

She has a trash can in her room and her bathroom, I’m afraid to find out how high they’re piled🤪

  5. Mothy67 says:

Every article I read on monkeypox has different stats. Major news organizations who hire people around the clock whose one job is to report the news can’t update what I predict will soon be 24/7 news. Covid is boring now. They need something to keep us in a state of fear. 85% protection for those who got smallpox vax. There is a monkeypox vax already in existence. Biden ordered 119 million doses. It should be available to health care workers if they want it. Incubation can be up to 14 days. I need to purchase more tinfoil. I can see a small (controlled) outbreak of a non deadly (for the most part) virus and Biden being given credit for offering free vax to effected communities. How joy reid will sing about how joe handled it better than orange man. I put nothing beyond these people they salivated over the Buffalo shooting.

    • Mothy67 says:

My mom says I was vaxxed. I was born in January of 67, but I was a hospital kid so it may have been standard.
I am intrigued by the fact that a non fatal disease has suddenly hit young gay men as WHO is attempting a treaty that ostensibly yields sovereignty. Doesn’t take an MD to deduce such a pathogen would be sexually transmissable. Why now. America has had small outbreaks of monkeypox. One in 2003,but I don’t/can’t find instances of it ever spreading to so many countries in less than 3 weeks. WHO, it seems, wants to take over world health. My tinfoil – a non fatal bug hitting gay men can call for more control by a world government. Monkeypox was discovered in 1950. It did not hit gay community pre-aids when people faced few consequences. Lots of sex. Now as covid has faded I think those looking to control all of us would use anything to win. What glee would it bring to Eric Swallowswell to call Ted Cruz or Rand Paul “homophobic” for not supporting 100 trillion to fight ugly chicken pox. They twist everything to political advantage.
I am not equiped to evaluate disease, but this seems awfully convenient for WHO. I bet we will hear how homophobic you are if you do not support WHO taking the lead. They will go after DOCTOR Rand Paul without data just to label him homophobic. I hope I am wrong, but from what I have read it is 100% men between 18 and 45 who have sex with men in several countries. A disease known for 72 years suddenly jumps into a population. It does not just jump from almost nonexitant it is within weeks in London, Ontario, Lisbon, Madrid, Sydey.Boston maybe New York. Okay I was born yesterday. A distressing disease can travel the globe that fast. BULLSHIT!

      • Somebody says:

I have two scars🙄 They weren’t satisfied with my reaction to the first vaccine which was administered with one of those guns.

My second vaccine was old school and administered by an old navy doctor. He must have overloaded me because OMG the appendage that grew out of my arm😲

So I guess I’m good to go with monkeypox. I’m sure Fauci will disagree and insist I need a double shot of the new mrna vaccine and a booster every other month🙄

      • DeniseVB says:

Upper left butt cheek for me. Not sure why, but I could never show off my scar in school ?

      • jadzia1971 says:

I was born in ’71 and smallpox vaccines were over by then, at least where we lived.

    • Helen+Kenney says:

I was vaccinated 3 times for smallpox, It would not take I still do not have the scar. When I changed schools sometimes I had to be vaccinated again to be able to enter the new school.

      • Somebody says:

Three times? Wow, I’ll just step aside with my two vaccine tale.

I’ll see your two smallpox vaccines and raise you 7 MMR vaccines and I still don’t show immune to rubella, argh🙄 I do have immunity, I just have a low titer. I flat refused to have another MMR when I had my 3rd child. The same damn doctor, my OB-GYN had given me FOUR of those 7 vaccines. He’s the one I told to go fly a kite and also the one that ordered the more detailed test.

        • Somebody says:

Argh, I’ll see your THREE smallpox vaccines and raise you seven MMR🤣

        • DeniseVB says:

Never had the MMR, but have had measles and rubella, never had the mumps. Hopefully I’m too old now 😉

        • jadzia1971 says:

I too have had multiple MMR vaccines thanks to parents who kept bad records in the era before computerization. Also because the rules changed. I had it at 12 months and then had to have it again because the rule changed to 13. When we moved, I had to get it again. And again college to work at the U of C pediatric ER. And again to emigrate. I got the sickest I’ve ever been in my life the 3rd time I had it, when I was about 9. I hallucinated Jesus over my bed talking to me. TRUE STORY.

      Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump

Gee, Elon Musk never told me that until now he only voted for Democrats. Actually, it was quite the contrary, but now it seems, with all of his problems with a probably illegal purchase of a crummy phony account loaded company, Fake Twitter, he wants to be a Republican because the Dems are “a Party of hate.” I could have told him that a long time ago, but actually they are a Party of sickness, greed, corruption & absolutely horrible policy. Good luck Elon, have fun!!!

The Dreizen Report is one of the best sites I have found for factual info about what is going on in Ukraine…if monkeypox, immigration and bidenflation weren’t enough…I really trust Jacob Dreizen’s info as he, to my knowledge, speaks/and or understands both Russian and Ukrainian…this is s good post…

I think this year’s World Figure Skating competition should suffer consequences as well. Banning Russian as well as Belarus and Chinese skaters from the competition made it “less than” other competitions in previous years. There should be an asterisk after the names of all the winners. Even though it wasn’t their fault, they won perhaps because the other skaters had been banned for political reasons. It would’ve been different if those countries had withdrawn, but they didn’t. They were banned in a huge virtue signaling FU from the ISU.

      • taw46 says:

I agree. I only watched some of it, but if the Russian and other skaters had been there, I would have watched all of it.

If they say they don’t know anything about an alien invasion, you can answer “SEE?!”

I would FREAKING LOVE to do that.

Except that a. I can’t move to Texas. and b. Working that kind of job, it is difficult to also have kids who remember who you are and what you look like.

I would sure love it, though.

This is humilating. I think I might need long term rehab. I went 98 days and then had a half a pint two pints became a fifth. I don’t go to bars I sit alone two fifths now just wet my whistle. I know better but I get so sick without it. I was getting periocentisis when Romney ran. Given months to live. My liver enzymes are slightly elevated now as I abuse booze. So unfair I tried backdoor suicide. I got better. I em rubber band man. I am so tired. I am not a fall down drunk or someone who goes to jail. I drink alone to just feel okay. I really want to hate me and be done withi it. Fucking doga and now cat. I would never allow Shay to see me wimp out. It would be an accident. Too much booze and some mistaken fentynal. No worries I am Catholic. I will fuck myself financially if I try rehab again which is funny i am evaluating my life by credit score???

  18. Mothy67 says:

How much easier to call Rand Cruz homophobes if they will not appropriate a trillion dollars to fight sexually transmitted chickenbpox? Come on it is always a trillion dollar game.
