So good to see The Queen able to make a public appearance. She looks a wonderful 96 yrs old.

    • Mt.Laurel says:

The Queen is doing very well for her age and think she is choosing her outings carefully and on days she feels up to the effort and will not let people down. Also seems to favor events when Princess Anne or Prince Edward can accompany her on her rounds. They (and their spouses) know the drill and fill in as needed with the part of the duties that may be beyond the Queen’s stamina. They let their Mom just enjoy being out and about seeing people and help her to hold to her promise to serve as long as she possibly can.

This is what that annoying selfish sparkles duo just do not get. “Granny” dedicated herself to a life of service and the family, often those not in the direct line, are the ones who are there to provide her with the day to day support to continue to serve and have purpose and a fulfilling life. Many of these occasions with the Queen or standing in for the Queen could have been done by that useless pair as the Queen aged, especially without Phillip. But they want to be the top dogs just taking big sparkly events and all the perks and none of the day to day responsibilities/work or having to meet and mix with and appreciate the peons.

      • taw46 says:

Yes, that is a perfect description of what is happening with the Queen and how her family supports her. I have such admiration for that woman and her dedication and devotion to her country.

“The documents show Bernard performed a non-surgical abortion for a 6-weeks pregnant 10-year-old girl of Mexican ethnicity on June 30.”

6 weeks? Why would a 10 year old get a pg test just a couple of weeks after a missed period – there is no way her menses are regular yet.

When I was working on the Clinton campaign, Maloney wrote a book about why women should vote for other women whether we agreed with them or not until we had reached a substantial percentage of the seats in congress and had broken the glass ceiling in nationwide office. Most of my liberal female friends read it, and they all said they supported it. But when Hillary conceded to Obama, not one of them would work for Palin. Likewise, Amy Siskind of the New Agenda pushed for women to support other women until there was a conservative woman on a ballot.

I confronted Siskind in person, and I wrote a brief letter to Maloney asking her to publicly disavow her book. Siskind was forced to respond, and she said, “Republican women need to see the light.” I got a form letter from Maloney thanking me for taking an interest in her book. One of the things I’ve learned in working on campaigns is women who run as Democrats will fall into line immediately they take office no matter what they say when they’re campaigning, and the women who work for them to get elected don’t care what they say when they campaign because they already know what they’ll do.

      • DeniseVB says:

I remember Palin sure exposed the “Feminists” for what they really are, grown up mean girls. I never understood that kind of hate for a successful woman who seemed to have it all and be beautiful at the same time? Their ugly heads popped up again after Sarah’s speech at the Trump Rally.

What’s that you say, Nanz? The dems have no intention of losing Congress? That’s the same thing you said about Biden in 2020, so guess you are letting us know that you plan to cheat again.

The glowing response from Chinese state media should come as no surprise, however, because every sentence of Birx’s book reads like it was written by the CCP itself. Chapter 1 opens with what she claims was her first impression of the virus.

I can still see the words splashed across my computer screen in the early morning hours of January 3. Though we were barely into 2020, I was stuck in an old routine, waking well before dawn and scanning news headlines online. On the BBC’s site, one caught my attention: “China Pneumonia Outbreak: Mystery Virus Probed in Wuhan.”
