This is going to a cousin’s wife. Found out my cousin Glenn died on Feb. 17, two weeks before his 73rd birthday. Brian is sending it to Glenn’s son to give to his mom. Stopped by to visit Glenn and his wife and daughter in May 2015 when I went to Portland to meet Lil Bub. Glad I have that memory.

I am sorry for your loss Lynette. Even more that you learned of it so late. I hope his wife can find comfort in the love that the sculpture represents.

On Sunday night, I asked Brian (who lives in Chicago and builds wood and metal furniture) to make an olive wood heart sculpture with a wood base, and Monday morning he showed me the piece.
Glenn’s mother was my favorite aunt (Dad’s side). We loved visiting her family in Portland during many vacations there. Her home also was base camp when my mother had two brain surgeries in Portland.
That same group, different people, from the Trevi Fountain vandalism. I think they should have tied these people up to a pole, poured all of their liquid on them, and left them there for a couple of days. It’s hot over there now, so they would be hot and sticky.
