Guess who got fired?

Alec Baldwin has been fired by MSNBC, sources say.

The rage-aholic’s weekly show, “Up Late With Alec Baldwin,” has been canceled because of the actor’s foul-mouthed rant at a photographer he called a nasty name.

“The decision has been made. He’s gone,” an insider at the cable channel told me. “The [parent company] Comcast guys have decided. Word is spreading through the building.”

Baldwin’s dismissal was decided on partly because of his diva-like behavior toward co-workers, a source said.

Besides demanding a humidifier because he claimed the air at 30 Rock was too dry, Baldwin alienated staffers when he demanded a separate makeup room being used by a woman with cancer who is sensitive to hairspray.

When Baldwin was told he couldn’t have his way, he allegedly bellowed at the top of his lungs, “I don’t give a f - - k if she has cancer or not, I want that f - - king makeup room.”

It wasn’t just a nasty name, it was a gay slur. He said it off the air while he was on his own time. But you can forget about the other stuff, that’s why he got fired.

On the other hand, Martin Bashir still has a job at MSNBC. Bashir said some really disgusting things about Sarah Palin. He said them on the air, and they were not spontaneous. He later apologized, but he has not been punished.

What’s the difference between the two men?

Alec Baldwin insulted a core Democratic/MSNBC demographic. Martin Bashir insulted a designated left-wing hate receptacle.

Fucking hypocrites.

    • Constance says:

You can only assume that MSNBC looks like COMCAST and NBC want it to which is pretty weird since MSNBC has very low viewership.

      • They cater to their core demographic, less than 8% of the US population, which has zippo regard for truth and accuracy. They only want to hear “agreement” and “support” for their own personal lifestyle choices. All else is irrelevant.

    • The Klown says:

      I love this part:

The antigovernment movement has grown in recent years and is rooted in the anti-Semitic, anti-black and anti-tax Posse Comitatus movement of the 1970s and 1980s.

Most recent recruits to the sovereign citizens movement found themselves in desperate situations, often due to the economy or foreclosure, and are drawn to the idea of easy money or living free of legal consequences.

Many self-identified sovereign citizens are black and are unaware of the racist history of the movement.

The guy in the story is black. It would have been nice if the author had mentioned adverse possession and how that applies in Ohio.

      • The Klown says:

Adverse possession is a way to claim abandoned property. Depending on the state you have to occupy the land for a set number of years and pay the taxes on it. After the required time you can get title to the property.

First ad for Palin 2016 ?????

    • helenk3 says:

that is great. I hope Sarah keeps standing up and speaking out for many years to come. She drives the politicians in BOTH parties nuts. She speaks for the American people, a voice that is really needed.

      • DeniseVB says:

Sounds like the Obama antidote for me. She’s business savvy, local politics from PTA to Mayor, then Govenor, plus Mom and Grandma. I’m sold. Truth be told, I like the current wacko birds in Congress, but they’re not Sarah. She’s survived 5+ years of living rent free in the left’s head and she’s stronger than ever 😀

Making more victims is a good thing in this regime.

      • The Klown says:

Mike Tyson and Roman Polanski are cool and George Zimmerman is a pariah.

        Explain that to me.

        • underwhelmed says:

I posted before I saw this. And see? That’s it. There is no such thing as right and wrong any more. The only arbiter is which team you play for. I cannot begin to understand how these people look at themselves in the mirror.

        • DandyTIger says:

Yeah, but George is a latino Dem who voted for Obama. I think in all these cases, it’s a game of where on the totem poll of victimhood you or your victim is. In George’s case, the hate crime thug Treyvon wanted to kill what he thought was a gay man. If he had and George was gay, Treyvon might have been the bad guy. Turns out George wasn’t (so less victimy) and instead he killed the attacker (who was black). Black trumps latino, and gun victim trumps beating victim. In the other cases, the attacker was black in one case and a liberally authority figure in the other, and the victims were mere women. Black trumps woman, and liberal authority figure trumps women. I’m sure there are exceptions. The rules are rather arbitrary, and there isn’t logic behind it all. It’s complicated.

        • 1539days says:

Zimmerman doesn’t have the best history with women. That still does not make him guilty of murder.

    • underwhelmed says:

You’re forgetting he’s not white, so that automatically makes him the victim no matter what he did. The only white men who get away with that stuff are guys like Polanski and that’s because he’s Hollywood. Come on, Klown, keep up! /s

  12. Just look at the top of Memeorandum right now. There’s all this sympathy & roses for Alec Baldwin and gleeful reporting over Lara Logan. One of them used a homophobic slur, and one of them reported real news that the CIA didn’t like. One is a mouthy, balding 50 year old white guy who never could act and is the hero of the left, the other is a vagina-wielding survivior of rape in the middle of the “Arab Spring.” That’s how the left rolls, and that’s why I’m not with them anymore.

Palin’s post-interview statement on Facebook. I like the idea of single payer and don’t think we’ll get it while Obama is in (or any time soon) but the rest was interesting-
“Be warned the White House is arming leftist supporters with “talking points” to try to convince family and friends around the Thanksgiving table that Obamacare is the greatest thing since sliced pumpkin bread. You should politely let them know you’re not swallowing that turkey.”
